Can I ask for Gintoki, Kamui, Sougo, and Takasugi’s reaction to their s/o (fem but you can write gn as well) telling them they got brazilian wax from a man? I think it would be funny HAHHA

Gintoki Sakata:

-You really poked the wasp nest. Maybe a wasp nest isn’t enough, more like a polar bear.

-Hope you trust Sougo a lot. The combination of him and warm wax is truly a terrifying combo.

Shinsuke Takasugi:

-“Mh” He hums, taking a puff from his kiseru “Do you need to say something else?”

-Shinsuke isn’t a jealous man, too engulfed in his own anguish and anger there isn’t a lot of stuff that can hurt him.

-“Nah, he was really tall tho, like impressive, he barely fit in the room.” You reply with a chuckle to lighten the mood.

He nods, back turned so you couldn’t see the little vein popping on his neck.

-Not a lot of stuff can scratch his ego, but damn, he hates getting reminded that he is short…

I'm currently in gintama fandom so expect this is all about gintama hehe

Gintoki x Tsukuyo - These two selfless characters, both are incredibly strong and independent. They also share the same pain of losing their masters, which makes their relationship deeper since they know a part of each other's past. Tsukuyo knowing not just the 'Yorozuya Gintoki' and the same with Gintoki who witnessed how Tsukuyo lose her master. They fought so many times in different arcs together that made them closer. And, both are hot and sexy, how can you stop me from shipping them for many years now 😔

2. Zenzou x Sacchan - After the Shogun Assassination's Arc, they've been in a situation where she almost died, that made Zenzou confess: "I love my fuglies Sarutobi, but I've had enough of your fugly crying faces. I won't let you cry in front of me ever again."

These two are childhood friends and suddenly in a situation like that, they are THAT close? So I love their relationship and the fact that Zenzou knows she likes Gintoki.. cute. But I think Zenzou can take care of Sacchan better, he knows her better <3.

3. Sakamoto x Mutsu - I haven't drawn them together as I am a heavy gintsu shipper, but I also appreciate Sakamoto who got a bad bitch like Mutsu on his side.

4. Katsura x Ikumatsu - It's pretty obvious in Homeless Arc how he care and love Ikumatsu.

5. Yamazaki x Tama - Well, I want to root for Yamazaki and Tama. I started to lowkey ship them in episode 268.

6. Gintoki x Takasugi - I like how they care for each other to the point they cannot ignore it until we reached SA. I think I also like how Gintoki tries to protect him and the same with Sugi, I appreciate them more in Gintama Final.

7. Kyubei x Otae - These two deserve more than what the series gave them.

8. Kamui x Nobume - This is a rarepair introduced to me by @/sararaiden. It has the same energy of Umibozu x Kouka in which another ship I like.

Overall, there's not a lot of shippy moments in Gintama? But based off their interactions, my otp for Kamui is Kamui x Okita because that's someone I can see Kamui genuinely showing interest in out of the people he's met. They're the same brand of blood thirsty and crazy, they both love to fight, and they banter. Also Kagura hating Okita makes this ship ten times funnier.

Also the criminal x cop dynamic is hot.

what are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

I'm up for almost anything? Just not.... weird shit? Like I am willing to touch on toxicity in ships since Kamui has no experience with dating, nor is fully knowledgeable of everything people on earth do. Plus, he's an asshole. He gets violent too depending on the situation. Once he does actually become interested, he tends to get obsessive even if he does outwardly act nicer towards his partner. Borderline yandere lol.

how large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

Anything adult x minor makes me uncomfortable.

are you selective when shipping?

Yes. I'm tired of people wanting to rush through everything. Kamui is not someone who's even easy to befriend, let alone date. If someone doesn't have the patience for that, I'm not interested. Either tag along for the slow burn or don't ask to ship at all. Plus, on multiple occasions people have complained about how mean Kamui is as well. It's bound to happen before we get to the romantic stuff, so.....

The collab is part of Animate Main Branch (Ikebukuro)'s grand renewal opening celebration and is Host Club-themed XD

The subtitle is 〜銀魂とアニメイトは永久に不潔です〜 which means "Gintama and Animate are forever filthy" XD

Takasugi looks good (as usual XD), but my faves in this lineup are Sakamoto and Kamui~ XD

I've never been to an actual host club before but I love their setup! XD

A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 311

MY 10 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 311:

I wished we got to see their fight. I mean, it probably didn’t take long for Takasgui to beat him, since Kamui was already wounded, but I still wished we got a few more panels of it. A whole chapter would’ve been even better.

The happiest prisoner in the universe. Why is he so adorable? I don’t care that he’s a psychopath who at that point wanted to commit patricide, he’s still adorbs.

Seriously, every exchange they had in this chapter could have been taken a different way. I could’ve picked any of their moments together as an example for my Ship Tally. 

BEAUTIFUL.

Evil Takasugi is sexy.

More outrageous flirting.

Homicidal Takasugi is sexy too.

Go go Kiheitai!

I have a total soft spot for back-to-back moments. I love the camaraderie they represent.

I mean, come on. They needed to get a room. Shippiness aside, their team up was pretty freaking exciting. I couldn’t wait to see what kind of havoc they would unleash on Earth.

SHIPS TALLY:

Takasugi x Kamui: there is no way in hell I will ever believe these two didn’t hook up after this chapter. 

Abuto x Kamui: I did feel guilty about shipping Takasugi and Kamui when Abuto was around, but I figured, Abuto would probably understand. He’s been around Kamui long enough to understand how he gets around new potential conquests.

Takasugi x Matako: I felt bad about Matako too...hopefully Takasugi was discreet about his dalliance. Or technically, maybe he doesn’t have to be since even though she’s in love with him, they’re not actually together together. Seriously, I had internal conversations with myself about all this just to make myself feel better about breaking up OTPs. Thank goodness Bansai was kinda just hanging back so I didn’t have to worry about him too much.

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

he breaks up with you:

he ends your relationship with a short conversation, a little bit scared to look at you directly because he does not want to see your heartbroken face

you already knew something was going on because he has been more absentminded and reserved than usual for a while

he won’t give you a reason of why he ends it and hopes that you just accept it without making a fuss about it

he pretends that ending your relationship is no big deal for him, but he feels empty and catches himself thinking of you more often than he wants to admit to himself

you break up with him:

if you break up with him, he just accepts it without trying to change your mind and tells himself it’s for the better like this anyway

naturally, he does not want to be around you anymore and might disappear somewhere without a word if you don’t keep enough distance

no matter how much he might be hurting, he’d rather die than show his feelings

he focuses more than ever on his plans and keeps himself busy and distracted this way

the little gift you gave him on his last birthday will be stored far away but at a safe place because he can’t bring himself to throw it away

Kamui:

he breaks up with you:

this relationship just seems not right for him, maybe you bore him or you’re in his way and somehow hinder him to reach his goal (at least in his mind)

whatever it actually is will remain a mystery to you because he won’t tell you straight out what is bothering him so much

he was the one ending it, so he is convinced that he is totally fine with it

he’ll notice your absence but even if it gives his heart a little sting, he will just distract himself with fighting and moves on

he won’t look back and quickly recovers from the break up because he thought about it thoughtfully before ending it

You break up with him:

the first poor soul who crosses his way after you broke up with him is gonna get a fist drilled through their chest

finding someone who actually was worth his non-violent attention was something he deemed impossible for most of his life, so he wouldn’t want to give up on something so special just like this

on the other hand, begging for something you have already decided for yourself is beneath his dignity

Kamui needs quite a while to process this, and you better stay as far away from him as possible because seeing you would just make everything more painful and complicated

YESSS I HAVE TWO FAVORITE OPENINGS

First and most favorite one is opening 18 x It's the opening for the Rakuyo arc which is my favorite Gintama arc. Basically the arc where the Joui 4 reunite and team up again temporarily after Takasugi wakes up from his coma and the Yato siblings finally settle things with each other :)))

Second one is opening 13 x I'm pretty sure this is the most popular Gintama opening ever. It's actually the reason why me and my brother binged the anime LOL it's reaaaaally good, the sakura blossoms and everything just really makes the whole thing beautiful and makes me soft for the Yorozuya trio.

PRAY IS PROBABLY MY THIRD FAVORITE, It's soo catchy and relaxing for a first opening I loveeeeee it.

My favorite ending song is probably ending 9 x because it shows the Yorozuya trio when they're younger, and LMFAO Kamui didn't have a confirmed design yet so his hair is black in this ending genuinely found that shit so funny, it's even pointed out by the series too. KFGVKDFK. god. Thanks for sending this in!!!! It was fun answering so I could ramble on lol )
