Ideations for Taka's enforcers in DEMIX: Another Episode. Really really early design process. Hope you enjoy!

I'm a bit too tired for extensive lore rn. But just know they're all loser burn-outs who have a hard time functioning in the adult world. Taka converted them all by honing in on something they all craved: the comfort of the past and a purpose beyond just sitting around and rotting in the shadow of their past achievements.

Hantaro - a return to combat with melee weapons and the fantasy of medieval-era adventure.

Seinosuke - a return to days of unprecedented trading and wealth before the recent recessions.

Stephanie - a return to days where she had stability and comfort, and a straightforward, safe future.

Touma "the kid" - a return to childlike freedom away from consequences or rules.

Adamu - a return to a life where he didn't have to rely on machines just to keep himself alive.

All of which are promised by his "great cause."

I plan on giving all of them something unique to put on their left eyes to substitute their eyes in V3, and have already given them all stuff to replace their binkies (Hantaro = kunai, Seinosuke = cigars, Stephanie = lollipops or gum, Touma = gum or his guitar pick, Adamu = his microphone)

Everything is subject to change and these are all super early ideas. Suggestions welcome and appreciated.

5 productions. 4 countries. 3 continents. This sonic experience is the reveal film for the first ever Lexus all-electric car. The creative challenge was to express the imperceptible side of nature through sound, exemplifying the erosion between driver and natural world. Logistically, this was my first time directing any part of a shoot remotely (about 75% remote), which at one point involved directing two productions in Japan and Thailand simultaneously. Very fun challenge, made possible by the extraordinary talent who contributed around the globe. 

Friends have asked how much of the footage we filmed ourselves, so I’ll come out and say there are THREE shots in this video we licensed and modified instead of filmed. See if you can guess them!

Character-specific Perfumes

Last year Fairytail Parfum released a Samurai Troopers-themed scent, and this year they’ve expanded the line to include scents for all five troopers and the four warlords. A total of 9 new scent combinations!

Descriptions are copy/pasted from the google-translated page. Anything in parenthesizes is me trying to help clarify. Unfortunately, I have no idea what “musk” is supposed to smell like or if it’s translating correctly.

A perfume inspired by the fiery Ryo. The refreshing scent of citrus has a strong sense of justice and expresses a pure heart. With the heart of "Jin" (benevolence), he wears a flaming armor and a scent.

Top notes: Bergamot, Yuzu, Lemon Middle notes: Peony, Magnolia, Lotus Last notes: Amber, Musk

A perfume inspired by Sage from Kotsu. The scent that combines the scents of flowers and fruits expresses a calm and calm sage. Wearing the light transport armor and scent with the spirit of "respect".

A perfume with the image of evil guard Yamori (Yami Mashou). The sweet scent of vanilla combined with the calming scent of musk and coconut expresses the armor warrior "Ayumi Yamori" wearing Kuroyama dog armor with the heart of "Taka" (piety). A general who controls a black wolf sword.

Top note: Meringue, Bergamot Middle note: Coconut, Candy Froth note: White musk, vanilla

Perfume with the image of Genma Masaru (Gen Mashou). The scent that expresses the armor warrior "Rakura" (Rajura) that wears armor that reminds me of scorpions and poisonous spiders with the heart of "nin" (endurance) is a woody note that fuses iris and a calm scent. A demon with the ability to hide like a ninja.

A perfume inspired by the devil. The changing scent of citrus, such as citrus and orange, to the soothing scent of gardenia and musk, expresses the armor warrior "Nakaku" (Naaza) who wears poisonous armor with the heart of "Yu" (**obedience). A magician who manipulates poison with a flexible "snake fan sword".

My Review of Fushigi Yugi

Drew up the antagonists of the UDG Equivalent of my little talentswap series, which I have settled on a title for:

Demix 1 and 1/2: INTERREGNUM.

Or just INTERREGNUM or INT for short.

As in my prior post about them, every single one of them is a former ult, save for Sayako - who serves as the replacement for Haiji, who is based off of the Nanokumas in V3. They're all burnout losers who never got to fulfill their potential, and adopted working for a totalitarian regime to preserve their fragile feelings and find meaning.

Hantaro = Monotaro, forgetful super-soldier general. First one to fight, first one to go. Takes Masaru's role.

Seinosuke = Monosuke, greedy accountant in charge of finances of Taka's empire. Lives lavishly after skimming off the top. He replaces Jataro.

Stephanie = Monophanie, chef with huge dreams and huger insecurities. Shoehorned into managing lots of things none of the guys know or care to do. Replaces Kotoko.

Touma = Monokid, disgraced musician and relentless bully. In charge of media and propaganda in the despair-built empire. Replaces Nagisa.

Adamu = Monodam, physically incapable genius, disgraced and disallowed from academia due to his desperation and ego. Pretends to be Kiyotaka's loyal head of research, believed in the cause more than anyone at some point… now that Taka is dead, he sees the folly in his work and seeks to perfect what he started. Replaces Monaca.

Sayako = Nanokumas, Adamu's estranged and vengeful little sister. Wants more than anything to bring her brother down as a continuation of their twisted sibling rivalry. Just as psychopathic as the rest of them, and fields her own little resistance comprised of manipulated child-rebels. Replaces Haiji.
