Characterization changing out of nowhere- not really. Everyone is pretty consistent.

Plot holes- the closest thing is 'Oh, I forgot about this failsafe I had in my plan that is now causing problems'.

Mistreating any women- in one of the latest chapters, a thug attacks one of the kids because she stole some of his money, but he gets summarily beat to hell and back by the Doc and is never seen again.

Also this is Denko Deirogi and she is awesome

Huh, those are some interesting things to know, although when I said mistreating I meant more on the lines of what Pop went through, you know, an incredibly interesting character with a strong personality but the author decides that sexually assaulting her on the first chapter could be used as a running joke and she's just overreacting to the event, then later on completely removes her personality from the story and uses her body as a the new villain because writing a descent into darkness would be too interesting and so we should just stick with mind control, and after that is done just put her into a coma until the end of the series because acknowledging her trauma over it again would be too interesting and we can't allow that.

You know, this sort of mistreating. Now I'm really questioning if it really was executive meddling...
