Hola!

I dag er siste dagen i studieuken vår, og alle har kommet hjem fra Cancun og Tulum i Mexico og Miami.

Noen av oss har begynt på dykkersertifikatet og slappet av i byen Tulum, en fargerik by med folk fra alle kanter og hjørner i verden. Fra amerikanere på springbreak, og backpackere, til folk som jobber som freelancer med alt mulig.

Ettersom Cuba har manko på litt forskjellig, var vi på harry-handel i Mexico, og fikk tak i alt fra nudler og krydder til peanøttsmør og granolabars. Maten var amazing! Tacos, enchiladas, burriots, salsa og guacamole som ble laget rett foran nesa vår!

Vi fikset oss overnatting via airdnb midt i sentrum av Tulum. En fresh plass med mange kule mennesker, og landlorden Orlando.

Den første dagen leide vi sykler og utforsket området. Vi tok en tur til den lange stranda og tilbrakte dagen i solen, for å starte rolig med «ferien». For å slippe å være avhengig av taxi og buss, samt spare mye tid, leide vi også scootere i et døgn. Sykt praktisk når vi skulle besøke steder som var spredt litt hit og dit og vi ikke hadde all verdens tid samt spare penger. Tenk å ha roadtrip på scooter på Mexicos veier(?!).

Vi besøkte ruinene i Tulum og Cobá som var både lærerikt og opplevelsesrikt, det var som å bli dratt inn i barnefilmen «Veien til Eldorado» med bygningene og templene.

Siste dagen sto vi opp tidlig på morgenen for å se soloppgangen på den lange berømte stranda i Tulum, virkelig et vakkert syn.

Noe Tulum er kjent for er alle cenotene som finnes i området, noe en ikke kan unngå å besøke når man først er der. Vi besøke «Tamcach-Ha» som var en lukket cenote med nydelig klart mørkeblått vann. I tillegg til å kunne bade der, som er en opplevelse i seg selv, kunne en hoppe fra 10 og 5 meter, som gir de fleste et heftig adrenalinrush.

Selv om det å være i Mexico var kjempe gøy og avslappende med tilgang til alt hele tiden, var det godt å komme hjem til våre casa particulares i Havanna. I morgen starter vi på skolen igjen og da er det fullt kjør fram til eksamen.
