We OUTSIDE! I was invited to my girl Shayla’s new sim. I used to live on Fakrava island w Wav for so long, its cool to see what new things she got going on. Sooo since my rl bday was kinda low vibes for me, my SL parents spent some time with me and my Dad Ras pulled out his boat for a special excursion! I LOVE exploring SL. Ill go anywhere and have so much fun discovering what people make it brings me so much joy. We got to sail seas that i’ve never seen to a secret beach I never been to before! I was gifted a legit wind surfer and went crazy on the waves while we anchored in this beautiful cove. Pops played some dramatic music the whole time it was pretty epic. I definitely count this day as one of my top best days on SL ever hands down. & I have been here 12 yrs now! Wowza

We also had a dope meeting at Meroe with the team right after. It was cool just to have this fulfilling day and get grounded with my SL life. Everything feels like its back in motion and flowing and all the things I desire, are coming towards me because I finally feel my frequency shifted, with all the inner work I been doing. Its finally payin off! Alhamdoulilah!

I gotta add in, this last minute trip we did to Taj Mahal. It was stunning they def need to make a more permanent version of it! Absolutely impressed by the realism of it I even felt the need to cover up when approaching because it felt too real , there were actual prayers in the walls like im assuming the real place has. So incredible! I am grateful for my SL family, and our lil trips haha.

Wild speculation about former CSI characters mentioned or not in the new show.

First of all, my general impression is that Gil and Sara have kept in touch with their friends. While we haven't really been told exactly what they have been doing--and I don't think it was eco-terrorism--they seem to have some kind of home base in San Diego.

We know Sara and Brass have talked, and, given the regular communications with Catherine within the new show, apparently they've kept in touch with her too.

I suspect that after Sara left that the powers that were decided to reopen the Lab Director position to other applicants. Hiring Sara from within was an entirely different thing than handing it over to Catherine, who had been away for some time. I know that kind of flies in the face of cut scenes from Immortality, but since we never saw Cath actually get the job...or perhaps she was interim director, and they decided they wanted to go in the direction of someone more on the cutting edge of DNA. Enter Max.

What we don't have is a time frame for how long Cath stayed at the Lab or in what capacity after Max took over. At some point, Lindsey got married and moved to Ireland. Perhaps Cath also decided being a casino mogul was a better option for a woman in her early 60s than chasing bad guys. Perhaps she resented being passed over. We don't have the particulars.

If you're old enough, at some point in your working life, your job has changed. Given the Taj Mahal aspect of the lab itself and the fact that the CSIs are short-staffed, one wonders if there were wholesale budget cuts for personnel and/or if some of the long timers didn't like the changes and left of their own volition, and the decision was made not to refill their positions. Again, we don't have enough information.

It has crossed my mind that they are keeping the whereabouts of Greg under wraps for any number of reasons. One could be that at some point he will be directly referenced either in the present or in relation to something in the past, and they are saving his current lifestyle until then. Or he will be one of the surprises Zuiker spoke about.

I do think Gil and Sara know where he is, but there is no reason for them to discuss him at this juncture of the plot.

Again it is abundantly clear that Sara apprised Grissom about all of her impressions of both the lab and the people she met during the time before he joined her in Vegas. She may even have said something along the lines that it was different without Greg and Morgan, but we weren't privy to it.

Nothing new there.

As for Nick, I really don't expect much to be done with him. From what I read there was some bad blood between him and the show at the end of 15 and into Immortality. I don't know enough of the details to judge one way or another, nor do I have any idea if the rift healed in the interim. If it did, and Nick is either referenced or makes an actual appearance, all well and good, but I'm not counting on it.
