Writers Wanted!

Hi guys! My name is Nicole and my friend Matt and I are co-owners/creators of VSquared Pictures, a production company in LA. We are a relatively new company but we have years of experience in the industry & a lot of great contacts so we are hitting the ground running! We are actively looking to hire writers to come on board with each project and that’s where you all come in!

We currently have 5 projects that are in the early stages of production. So we need to hire at least 5 writers - in our discussion, my first instinct was to come to Tumblr. I have read so many incredible pieces over the years through FanFiction and other sources and so much of the writing is inspired!

If I’ve tagged you in this post, that means I have already read your work and LOVED it. However, I don’t have the capability to possibly read all the awesome stuff out there so I’d like for you guys to share this post. Share with friends, with fellow writers, collaborators, creators. SHARE SHARE SHARE! Let’s create some super cool content.

So here’s what I’d like to do. PM me a sample of your work. It can be FanFiction, creative writing, a script - anything! As long as it shows your voice and your way of crafting dialogue, I want to see it! If it seems like your voice would be a good fit for one of our current projects (or something I see us doing in the near future) I will reach out and see if we can move forward! If (when 🤞🏼) the project is picked up, there will be compensation, of course, you’d officially be a professional writer!

I don’t think I’m very good at dialogue. In fact, I think I’m pretty bad at it.
