stuff that's most likely not gonna happen in sonic 3 but still wanna voice out anyway since the final trailer is coming out tomorrow and what do I have to lose honestly

after watching the tv spot, I've been thinking that it'd be pretty cool if sonic was low-key the medic of the team (like how Leo is in ROTTMNT since ben also plays leo).

I've been imagining this scene in my head for some time of sonic immediately taking charge and tending to everyone's injuries ( he stores a mini med kit in his quills cause why not)after shadow beating all three of them the first time before they go back home and seek proper care (probably from Maddie). Maybe shadow sees how sonic cares for his brothers and gets flashbacks of Maria from that?

I wonder if gerald and sonic are gonna have a chance to talk to each other, even if it's for a brief moment. That'd be pretty cool.

I really think that shadow is gonna bring out the WORST in sonic. I've never seen him look so MAD (paramount/sega stop being cowards and give us dark sonic PLEASEE)

Side note: I also think Gerald is gonna be the REAL villain of this movie. Think about it. RIGHT AFTER Eggman says, "Using shadow's power, we can use it to rule humanity". Shadow goes all, "When we're done, there won't BE ANYTHING left to RULE"

seeing the eclipse canon makes me wonder if they're gonna do the scene where Eggman traps sonic in a capsule with a bomb and freaking EJECTS him out of said space station and once the capsule explodes, knuckles and tails are completely DEVASTATED (tails would be screaming, "SONIC!!" as tears roll down his face ). Maybe shadow's watching sonic's friends reaction and noting just how much sonic meant to them. Maria flashbacks AGAIN perhaps? This could be the moment when he's second guessing if this is what Maria wanted (assuming sonic tried reaching out to him again prior the incident)

Long story short, I'm so excited to see this movie and I wanted to get this out of my system so yeah

I finally figured out how to give my Sonic characters the longer pupils like @SageAsuka on Youbube suggested. I hadn't even thought if I could do it before they asked, so thaat was a fun adventure. I still need more practice using this new techbiwue. I hope you guys like it. I made the orange Tails just to see if this would even work and then I thought why not film making a Tails?

I still need to get used to making these timelapse videos. They aren't very comfortable to make, and I would make the critters faster without filming it because I'm doing a lot of it by feel since I'm just not used to having a camera on the figures as I make them and I still worry I might accidentally scratch my camera with the pipe cleaners being so close. But hey, doing these gives me both a new figure and a new video, so then I can stress out less. :D

Is shadow gonna k*ll tom?

Ik this is late but idc I wanna do this. I saw someone else's post about this topic and it made me want to share my own thoughts on it too!

that one scene in the trailer where tom is yelling "SONIC!" and then it goes to shadow REALLY got people wondering if shadow is going to k*ll tom or not.

Here's my two cents: I don't think that's gonna happen

If anything, he'll at least get HURT. But not k*lled. We really wouldn't be in PG territory if shadow did that (the same thing with maria too which also makes me think about how paramount/sega is gonna go about her death in a PG way but that's another topic).

IF it were to happen, sonic would only see shadow as a murderer and I personally wouldn't be able to enjoy shadow knowing that he k*lled tom (who's been a father to sonic). Don't get me wrong, I don't wish for worst for shadow. He deserves to be happy and feel loved but again, I wouldn't be able to enjoy seeing him if he did something like that.

Team sonic working with G.U.N is a very interesting take in the story (since in the games, that didn't happen). G.U.N most likely didn't give team sonic the WHOLE story too. In the trailer, the commander did tell sonic how shadow's backstory was a LOT like his but instead of finding family and friends, shadow found pain and loss.

But like: HOW WAS THAT PAIN/LOSS CAUSED?! WHOSE FAULT IS THAT?!!? HMMM?!?!

For all I know, the scene where sonic is looking around the room for clues could be clues about what happened that day on the ark. It also could be him going off WITHOUT G.U.N's knowledge due to him having a 6th sense that the organization is not being honest with him ( I haven't seen anyone consider that possibility too but it's cool to think about).

Whatever the case is, I can say with certainty that when sonic & company DO find out the truth, they'll immediately want no part in it and call it quits with working for G.U.N

Now, back to the whole debate of whether shadow will k*ll tom or not, I'll also say that I can totally understand where shadow's coming from and WHY he's doing the things that he's doing (trying to kill off humanity) but that does NOT mean that it's RIGHT. Even if tom was k*lled, inflicting pain onto another is NOT going to solve anything. If anything, shadow will only feel MORE empty than he already is.

all of this really just leads me to saying once more: the chances of tom being k*lled I would say is not likely. Though, I have seen a fan comic where someone went with this idea as an "alternative, what-if" scenario which was pretty cool but so so sad 😭. But, (obviously), I can't say for sure until the movie comes out.

This is just my opinion.
