This scene with Kaede and her friend ambushing Kotetsu at his house and talking about how they’re supposed to ask their “parents or adults” is just adding fuel to the flames of my headcanon that Kaede started calling Barnaby “other Dad” and he just...cannot get her to stop. 

So now Kaede will just be like “Hi other Dad!!!” And Barnaby will just...“*sigh* Hi Kaede."
