It's such a missed opportunity that (as far as I know) we never see Rokuzo and Katai interact? Kunikida has a hacker for a son and he just never meets Katai? Like c'mon.

Rokuzo, hacker: Could you help me with this?
Katai, also hacker: Sure, what seems to be the-
He looks at the screen and sees exactly what Rokuzo is attempting to do.
Katai: I don’t think Kunikida would want me teaching you how to do that.
Rokuzo: Kunikida doesn’t have to know.
Katai: Well…
He considers that he’s done way worse at this age and well…it could be useful for future cases.
Rokuzo, puppy dog eyes: Please.
Katai, caves in: His schedule will keep him out for the next hour…Pull up a chair and this conversation never happened.
Rokuzo, grins: You got it.

Rokuzo Taguchi (BSD) Moodboard.
Rokuzo's probably one of my favourite underrated characters, his personality is an INTP same as me, and he hates having his time wasted the same as me. He's a spy and digs information up for the ADA. Honestly, he should have a 'best boy' hat and honorary headpats but if anyone did that he'd just get annoyed.

Chapter 10
This is a Yandere Bungo Stray Dogs x Female Reader Fic!
MDNI!!
The morning at the Armed Detective Agency unfolded in its typical chaos. Y/N stood beside Atsushi, who held her hand tightly, their fingers entwined as they watched Dazai stumble around the room, clutching his stomach with a goofy grin plastered on his face. “I can see the pearly gates!” he wailed dramatically, his voice echoing off the walls. “It’s glorious, Atsushi! The drinks, the rainbow pillbugs!”
Atsushi attempted to bring Dazai back to reality, his eyebrows knitted in concern. “Mr. Dazai, those weren’t actually poisonous mushrooms…”
But Dazai ignored him, caught up in his own theatrics. “Oh, Kunikida! You should join me in the afterlife! It’s beautiful here!”
Kunikida approached, his patience wearing dangerously thin. “Dazai, quit this nonsense!” he commanded, his voice booming through the room.
Dazai reached out dramatically, slurring, “Kunikidaaa! Join me in the afterlife!”
With an exasperated sigh, Kunikida replied, “We have work to do. The president has a new assignment for us.”
Dazai perked up, his eyes sparkling with interest. “An assignment? Why didn’t you say so?”
With Dazai back to his usual mischievous self, the group finally made their way to the president’s office. Fukuzawa’s gaze was serious as he briefed them on a case involving multiple disappearances across Yokohama, primarily among visiting tourists. An anonymous tip had provided vague but significant information about potential abductions.
Dazai whistled, his previously hazy expression now sharp with curiosity. “An anonymous tip? How convenient,” he mused playfully. “Terribly suspicious too.”
“It may be suspicious, but we don’t have the luxury of ignoring it,” Kunikida replied firmly, flipping open his notebook. “Our first stop is investigating the tip’s source.”
The president handed over the case file, and the group headed out, Atsushi and Y/N staying close. Atsushi kept a gentle but reassuring grip on Y/N’s hand, calming her quiet anxiety about the mission ahead. He offered her a smile, his touch steady and supportive.
Their destination was Taguchi Rokuzo’s base of operations. Taguchi was an eccentric but highly skilled hacker known for dabbling in both legal and illegal information sources. Kunikida had employed him as an informant for previous cases, and today, his expertise would be essential.
They entered the room, and Taguchi turned his gaze toward the group. His eyebrow raised slightly as he took in the new faces. “So, you brought company,” he smirked, nodding to Y/N and Atsushi. “Who’s the new kid?”
“I’m Atsushi Nakajima,” he introduced himself politely.
"Y/N"
Taguchi’s eyes shifted to Kunikida. “What brings you here today?”
Kunikida’s voice was firm, as always. “We’re here about the recent Yokohama disappearances. We received an anonymous tip regarding the location of the missing people. We need to know where this tip came from.”
Taguchi’s gaze turned serious, his fingers typing rapidly across his keyboard. “Let’s see… ah, yes. That tip was sent by someone going by the name ‘Azure Messenger.’ It’s not the first time I’ve come across that alias.”
Kunikida’s jaw tightened, recognizing the name. “The Azure Messenger…” he murmured, his eyes narrowing.
Y/N found herself squeezed tightly between Kunikida and Dazai as they piled into the cab, with Atsushi in the front seat. She could feel the warmth of their bodies pressing against her, a reminder of how oddly comfortable she’d become with these strange, often chaotic men. Despite the cramped space, Kunikida slipped his hand into hers, his grip firm and steady, while Dazai’s hand rested on her thigh, his fingers drumming an absentminded rhythm that seemed almost purposeful.
Kunikida’s voice broke the silence as he directed the cabbie to their destination. “We’re headed to an abandoned hospital on the east side. Our informant mentioned that’s where the victims may be kept.”
Y/N noticed the faint tension in his jaw as he spoke and the concern that flickered in his gaze when he glanced at her. It was subtle, but Kunikida’s protective nature had shown itself time and again.
The cabbie, an older man with a greying beard, gave a nod in acknowledgment, keeping his focus on the road. Atsushi turned in his seat to look back at them, his eyes wide with curiosity. “So… Mr. Kunikida, is this driver an informant for the Agency, too?”
“Indeed,” Kunikida replied, his hand tightening ever so slightly around Y/N’s. “This is Hiroshi. He used to be an actor before he found his way into this line of work. Knows Yokohama better than anyone else.”
The cabbie grinned at Atsushi through the rearview mirror. “Couldn’t make it in show business, so here I am,” he said, with a dry chuckle. “Pays the bills, at least. And it’s an honor to help the Agency, especially when I get to hear about all these daring rescues and mysteries firsthand.”
Dazai hummed, leaning in closer to Y/N, his voice a mischievous whisper. “Aren’t we lucky to have the best connections in Yokohama?”
Y/N caught the hint of sarcasm in his tone but couldn’t deny there was a thrill to being part of something so unusual. Her cheeks flushed as Dazai’s hand lightly traced circles on her thigh, the pressure light yet undeniably possessive. She fought to keep her composure as Kunikida’s thumb brushed over her knuckles in quiet reassurance.
In the front, Atsushi’s eyes shifted to the cabbie with interest. “So, you were one of the last people to see some of the missing tourists before they vanished?”
The cabbie nodded, his brow furrowing in thought. “Drove a couple of them from the port to a hotel near here. Didn’t think much of it at the time—lots of visitors come through that area. But looking back, yeah, I remember their faces. Looked nervous, now that I think about it.”
Kunikida nodded, his gaze focused and serious. “We’re dealing with a pattern of disappearances,” he explained. “But so far, no ransom notes or messages have been received. That’s why we’re looking into an anonymous tip. This hospital could be the site where they’re being held… if they’re still alive.”
Dazai feigned shock, placing a dramatic hand to his heart. “Oh, could it be that we’re involved in a conspiracy to steal glasses-wearing tourists?” he joked, casting a sideways glance at Kunikida.
Kunikida rolled his eyes. “Not all of them wore glasses, Dazai. Try to focus. This isn’t a game.”
“Of course, of course,” Dazai said with a smile, though he still looked amused. “Still, it’s good to see you show some passion.”
As they neared their destination, the cab slowed, turning down an old, decrepit street lined with crumbling buildings. The abandoned hospital loomed in the distance, its broken windows casting shadows that stretched like skeletal fingers toward the cab as it pulled up.
The cabbie glanced back at them, his usual humor replaced by caution. “Well, here we are. This place gives me the creeps,” he admitted, shifting uneasily in his seat. “I’ll wait here until you’re done. If you need a quick escape, I’ll be ready.”
Kunikida gave the cabbie a nod of appreciation. “Thank you, Hiroshi. Stay sharp. We may need that escape sooner than we think.”
They piled out of the cab, and as soon as her feet hit the ground, Y/N felt the chill of the evening air seeping through her. She glanced at the dilapidated structure before them, its windows shattered, and its walls covered in graffiti. It had the air of a place forgotten by time, where silence lingered like a ghost.
Kunikida stood protectively in front of her. “You should stay outside, Y/N,” he said gently, his voice steady. “This place could be dangerous, and you don’t have a special ability to help you defend yourself if something goes wrong.”
The words stung, and a wave of disappointment washed over her. She wanted to be with them, to help however she could, but she understood his reasoning. They were facing an unknown threat, and she was just a regular girl without any extraordinary skills. “Okay,” she replied, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I’ll wait here.”
Kunikida squeezed her hand before letting it go, a silent reassurance that she would be okay. Dazai shot her a wink as he walked past, his easy confidence like a breath of fresh air even in such a foreboding setting. Atsushi looked back with a sympathetic expression, and as they entered the building, Y/N raised her hand in a small wave.
“Be careful!” she called out, her heart heavy as the door creaked shut behind them. The sound echoed in the stillness, amplifying the isolation she felt outside.
As she waited, Y/N leaned against the cold, crumbling wall of the hospital, trying to distract herself from the gnawing worry in her gut. She could hear faint voices from inside, a muffled blend of banter and seriousness that made her wish she could be a part of it. She knew they were capable, but she couldn’t shake the fear that something could go wrong.
With a sigh, she pulled out her phone, scrolling through her messages and social media, trying to focus on something other than her anxiety. A familiar app caught her eye, and she opened it, mindlessly playing a simple game to pass the time. The colors and sounds provided a temporary escape, but every few moments, she would glance up at the entrance, hoping for a sign that everything was alright inside.
Time seemed to stretch on as she tapped the screen, her heart racing each time the door creaked or a sound echoed from the hospital’s depths. With each passing moment, the world around her faded, but the connection she felt to her friends inside remained strong, a tether of hope amidst the uncertainty.
Y/N stood outside the abandoned hospital, the silence pressing heavily against her ears as she anxiously waited for the group to return. She paced, glancing occasionally at the door, hoping for a sign that they were okay. The minutes stretched on, and unease began to coil in her stomach. It felt like an eternity since she’d last seen their faces.
Just as she was about to approach the entrance, a rustling sound broke the stillness behind her. Y/N turned, instinctively scanning her surroundings. Shadows loomed along the edges of the building, creeping toward her, and a chill ran down her spine. “Hello?” she called out, her voice wavering slightly.
Before she could react further, a figure emerged from the darkness, moving swiftly toward her. Panic surged through her, and she took a step back, her heart racing. “Who are you?” she demanded, her voice more confident than she felt.
The figure didn’t respond. Instead, they lunged forward, a gloved hand darting toward her. Y/N barely had time to scream before a rag, soaked in a sickly-sweet chemical smell, was pressed over her mouth. As her body instinctively fought back, her phone slipped from her grasp, flying from her hand and landing under a nearby trash can with a dull thud.
Desperation clawed at her throat as she struggled, clawing at the intruder’s arm, but her vision began to blur, the world spinning as the edges of her consciousness frayed. “No! Let me go!” she gasped, her voice muffled against the cloth.
The weight of her phone felt like a final tether to reality as it disappeared from her sight, but the air around her thickened, and the light faded as darkness closed in like a heavy blanket. Just as the last remnants of awareness slipped away, she felt the weight of her body giving in, the cold asphalt beneath her slipping further and further away.
Everything went black.
Atsushi’s shout echoed through the darkened corridor, his voice ringing with desperation. “Mr. Kunikida! I found them!” His heart raced as he stood before a locked door, his breath coming in quick, shallow gasps. A palpable sense of dread gripped him as he peered through the narrow glass window, his eyes widening at the sight inside.
The room was dimly lit, the air thick with tension. Behind the glass, several captives lay weakly against the walls, their faces pale and drawn. Hands reached out toward the small window, fingers trembling with desperation. “Help us! Please!” Their voices were faint and hoarse, each one pleading to be freed, each one echoing the fear that had taken root in Atsushi’s chest.
Kunikida rushed over, his expression hardening as he examined the door. He placed his hands against the cool metal, frustration coursing through him. “Just hang on!” he shouted, his voice filled with urgency as his fingers traced the lock, searching for a way to force it open. Time felt like it was slipping away, each second ticking by with agonizing slowness.
But before he could devise a plan, a faint hiss filled the room, an ominous sound that sent a chill down his spine. Suddenly, a sickly green gas began to seep into the chamber where the captives were held, curling around the prisoners like a deadly fog. The realization hit him like a punch to the gut.
“Atsushi, get back!” Kunikida warned, urgency lacing his tone as he pulled the younger man away from the door. His mind raced, calculating their next move as he struggled to maintain a semblance of control.
“No, no!” Atsushi’s voice broke, his eyes wide with panic. “They’re still in there! We can’t just—” His heart ached at the thought of leaving them behind, his mind racing with the faces of the captives, the echoes of their desperate pleas.
Dazai, who had been standing slightly behind them, stepped forward. He grabbed Atsushi’s shoulder with a firm grip, dragging him further back as the gas continued to pour into the room, a thick, swirling mist that obscured the view of the prisoners. “We’ve gotta go!” Dazai’s voice was unusually serious, a stark contrast to his usual playful demeanor.
Kunikida clenched his fists, his heart pounding in his chest as he watched the captives coughing and gasping inside. Their voices grew weaker by the second, a haunting melody of despair that clawed at his insides. One of the prisoners, a young woman with long hair, reached out a trembling hand, pressing it against the glass in a silent, heartbreaking plea for help.
“Let me go!” Atsushi struggled against Dazai’s hold, tears welling in his eyes. The desperation in his voice was palpable. “These people… we can’t just let them die like this!”
“Atsushi, it’s too late!” Dazai replied, his grip tightening as he fought against the emotions swirling within him. He understood the urgency, the fear, but they were out of options. The gas was a lethal weapon, and staying too close could cost them their lives.
Kunikida’s gaze remained locked on the prisoners as their figures slumped to the ground, the last remnants of life slipping away before his eyes. His heart sank, a wave of helpless fury washing over him as he watched the scene unfold. Each gasp for air, each desperate plea echoed in his mind, fueling a burning rage within him. The gas seeped through the cracks, obscuring the view and leaving only stillness in its wake.
“Please! Don’t leave us!” one of the captives cried out, their voice rising in a frantic pitch. But the sound was quickly drowned out by the sickly gas, the cries turning into frantic coughs that echoed off the walls.
Kunikida felt his resolve shatter, a silent vow burning within him as he clenched his teeth. “We can’t just walk away from this!” he yelled, his voice laced with frustration and pain. He stepped forward, ready to break the lock himself, to do anything to save those inside.
Dazai shook his head, a somber look on his face. “It’s not just about us getting in there. We need to think this through. If we break in now, we could end up trapped ourselves. We’ll become part of the problem.” His voice was steady, but the weight of the situation pressed heavily on his shoulders.
Atsushi felt like he was suffocating under the weight of his helplessness. “But they’re dying! We have to do something!” His heart raced with each passing second, the faces of the captives etched into his mind, their pleas haunting him.
Suddenly, a loud bang reverberated through the corridor, causing all three men to jump. The sound seemed to echo around them, and for a moment, everything stood still.
Kunikida turned sharply, his eyes scanning the area for the source of the noise. “What was that?” he asked, urgency surging within him.
“It could be a way to get in!” Atsushi suggested, hope flaring briefly before it was doused by the sight of the glass window. Inside, the figures of the prisoners were still, their bodies slumped against the wall as the gas thickened around them.
Kunikida took a deep breath, trying to steady his racing heart. “We need to find another way,” he decided, his voice firm as he pushed back his frustration. “We’ll find the source of that noise, maybe it’s a way to shut off the gas.”
Dazai nodded, his expression grim. “We can’t let this end here. If there’s a chance to save them, we need to take it.”
As they turned to move down the corridor, the weight of their decision hung heavily in the air. Each step felt like a march toward an uncertain fate, but they pressed on, determined to fight for those who couldn’t fight for themselves.
The journey felt endless, each shadow along the corridor a reminder of the lives hanging in the balance. But as they moved, Atsushi couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that settled deep within him. They needed to act quickly, but with every moment that passed, the chances of saving the captives dwindled.
Finally, they reached a door at the end of the corridor. Kunikida pressed his ear against it, listening for any signs of life. “I think I hear something,” he said, his voice low. “Get ready.”
With a nod from the others, Kunikida pushed the door open, the creaking hinges echoing ominously in the silence. What lay beyond was uncertain, but they were ready to face whatever came next. They had to save the captives, no matter the cost.
When Y/N’s eyes finally fluttered open, the dim light of the room was blinding. Her body ached, every muscle screaming in protest from the rough handling she had endured. Confusion swirled in her mind as she tried to piece together how she had ended up here. It took her a moment to realize she was tied securely to a chair, the ropes biting into her skin. Panic flickered in her chest, but she forced herself to remain calm, her gaze methodically assessing her surroundings.
The room was sparse, the walls peeling paint revealing patches of gray plaster. Shadows danced along the edges, shifting in the flickering light of a single overhead bulb. A faint rustling sound drew her attention, and she turned to find a woman standing in front of her. She was instantly recognizable from the pages of a book, yet somehow unsettlingly real. Higuchi was there, her blonde hair pulled into its usual messy bun, and her rectangular blue sunglasses perched high on her head. She wore a black suit that hung loosely on her frame, unbuttoned in a way that seemed careless yet intentional. Her deep brown eyes were sharp and calculating, analyzing Y/N with a predatory gaze.
Y/N’s mouth felt dry, and the gag stuffed between her lips only made it worse. Despite the overwhelming sense of danger in the air, she found a strange sense of detachment in the situation, reminding herself that this was just a character from a story she knew well. But this was differentshe didn’t remember this scene, the oppressive silence, or the palpable threat that filled the room.
“Welcome back to the land of the living,” Higuchi said, her voice low, almost indifferent, as if Y/N were merely an inconvenience. Y/N met her gaze steadily, refusing to let her nerves show.
Higuchi knelt down, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized Y/N’s expression. The corners of her mouth twitched with what could have been annoyance or impatience. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” she continued, her tone chilling. “I’m sure you know what we want to know.” With a swift movement, she reached forward and unbuckled the gag, letting it drop from Y/N’s mouth.
Y/N coughed slightly, her throat dry, but she made no attempt to speak. She kept her face blank and resolute, feeling Higuchi’s sharp gaze bore into her. The air felt heavy with unspoken tension, and Y/N had a nagging feeling that this wasn’t going to end with just a few questions. Still, she refused to give in, even as Higuchi began her line of questioning.
“What is your relationship with Dazai?” Higuchi asked coldly, her voice taking on a sharper edge.
Y/N held her silence, her gaze unwavering as she looked up at the woman. Higuchi’s eyes darkened with frustration, but Y/N didn’t flinch. Dazai was his own mystery, and she wasn’t about to reveal anything she knew about him—especially not to a mafia operative, even if it could end up causing her trouble.
Higuchi’s patience was visibly waning. She took a step back, crossing her arms as she observed Y/N in silence. “And what about the Armed Detective Agency?” she demanded. “Are you a spy for them? Tell me what they know.”
Y/N tilted her head slightly, her expression a mask of indifference. She felt a sense of power in her silence, each second of resistance a tiny act of defiance against the woman before her. Higuchi’s frustration bubbled over, and her hands clenched into fists as she let out a low sigh of irritation.
“You’re testing my patience,” she muttered, her tone dangerously low. “I know you know Akutagawa too. How did you meet him? Why do you have that hairpin in your hair? What did he tell you?” Higuchi’s questions came rapidly, her voice rising with each one, but Y/N remained unyielding, refusing to give anything away.
“Answer me!” Higuchi’s voice grew sharp, her calm facade slipping.
But Y/N stayed quiet, the only response Higuchi received was a steady, defiant gaze. The room felt thick with tension, and the heat of Higuchi’s anger was palpable. The woman had dealt with resistance before, but Y/N’s quiet refusal struck her differently. There was something about the way Y/N held herself, a quiet strength that made her all the more unsettled.
For a moment, a flicker of hesitation appeared in Higuchi’s eyes. She seemed to reconsider her approach, and Y/N caught it—the brief moment of uncertainty that suggested the woman was trying to regain control of the situation. Though Y/N kept her face carefully impassive, inside she knew that maintaining her silence was getting under Higuchi’s skin more than any words could.
Higuchi clenched her jaw, crossing her arms again as she regarded Y/N with cold intensity. “Fine,” she said, a dangerous smile playing at the edge of her lips. “If you won’t speak, we’ll find other ways to get what we need from you.”
A pang of unease shot through Y/N at those words, but her resolve didn’t waver. She took a deep breath, steeling herself against the uncertainty of what was to come. She had no intention of giving them any information, no matter what they tried.
“Your silence might be your undoing,” Higuchi warned, her tone now laced with a hint of menace. “We have our methods, and believe me, they’re effective. You might think you’re safe here, but you’re not.”
Y/N met her gaze, determination flooding through her. “You can threaten me all you want,” she replied, her voice steadier than she felt. “But I won’t betray anyone, especially not Dazai or my friends.”
Higuchi’s expression darkened further, and for a moment, it seemed as if she might lose her composure entirely. But she quickly regained her poise, narrowing her eyes at Y/N as if trying to read her thoughts.
“You’re stronger than I expected,” she admitted grudgingly. “But strength can only get you so far. So, let’s see just how strong you really are.”
With that, Higuchi turned on her heel, her heels clicking against the hard floor as she left the room. Y/N watched her go, the door slamming shut behind her. The sound echoed ominously in the silence that followed, leaving Y/N alone with her thoughts and a newfound sense of foreboding. She had no idea what was coming next, but she was determined to hold onto her secrets, no matter the cost.
As they made their way back to where they had last left Y/N, Dazai, Kunikida, Atsushi, and Sasaki quickened their pace. The eerie silence of the empty lot set their nerves on edge, the weight of the air pressing down on them like a shroud. Each step felt heavier, a reminder of the urgency that clung to them like a second skin. Atsushi scanned the area, his heart pounding in his chest as a worried look crossed his face.
“Where is she?” he murmured, panic creeping into his voice. The thought of Y/N, alone and unprotected, sent chills down his spine. It felt impossible that she could have simply vanished.
Dazai’s sharp eyes roamed the scene, taking in every detail with unsettling precision. He was always aware, always calculating. As he moved further into the lot, his gaze landed on something partially hidden beneath the edge of a trash can near the wall. He knelt down, a sense of dread coiling in his stomach, and reached out cautiously. When he pulled out a cracked phone—Y/N’s phone—his heart sank. The screen was dark, shattered in several places, and bits of dirt clung stubbornly to the broken edges.
“This is hers…” Dazai muttered, a dark shadow falling over his face. His fingers brushed over the jagged glass, a quiet realization dawning on him. The sight of the broken phone felt like a punch to the gut, a physical manifestation of the chaos that had transpired. The idea that she had been in a struggle—alone, defenseless—was as clear as the broken shards in his hand.
Kunikida stepped closer, his expression grave as he processed the implications of the find. He clenched his fists tightly, the knuckles turning white under the strain. “She must have been attacked. There’s no way she would leave without contacting us.” His voice was low, filled with a mix of anger and concern. He could picture her—Y/N, with her fierce determination and kindness—struggling against an unseen enemy, and the thought made his stomach churn.
“Someone was watching,” Dazai added, his voice low and dangerous, each word laced with an ominous undertone. “And whoever it was… they overpowered her.” His eyes narrowed, a flicker of rage igniting within him. The realization that someone had taken advantage of Y/N’s trust and safety felt like a personal affront. He had to find her; he couldn’t allow anyone to get away with this.
Atsushi looked between Dazai and the phone, anxiety flooding his features. “What if she’s hurt? Or—” His voice broke slightly, fear creeping into his thoughts. He could almost envision Y/N in pain, struggling to fend off an attacker. The image haunted him, and he fought against the urge to panic.
Dazai’s grip tightened around the phone, his gaze hardening as he focused on the task at hand. “She didn’t go without a fight.” His words were firm, a vow that echoed in the silence around them. “But she ultimately lost.” The finality of that statement weighed heavily in the air, a stark reminder of the danger they faced.
“Right,” Kunikida agreed, his expression steeling with determination. “We need to think strategically. Dazai, you know how to track movements. Can you figure out where she might have been taken?” The question hung in the air, laden with the hope that there might still be a chance to find her before it was too late.
Dazai nodded, his mind already racing as he began to piece together the fragments of their current predicament. “I’ll retrace her steps, look for any signs of struggle. We can’t let this lead go cold.” He glanced down at the shattered phone again, a reminder of the reality they faced. “There has to be something in here that can help us.”
With that, he activated the phone’s screen, the cracked surface flickering to life. A flurry of notifications and missed calls greeted him, but Dazai scrolled past them with purpose, searching for any hint of Y/N’s last movements. “We need to see if she contacted anyone or if there are clues in her messages.”
Atsushi stood beside him, his heart racing as he watched Dazai work. “Do you think she managed to send a message before—” His voice faltered, unable to finish the thought.
Dazai’s focus remained unbroken, the urgency of their situation propelling him forward. “We won’t know unless we check,” he replied, a steely determination in his eyes. He navigated through the cracked screen, his fingers dancing across the shattered glass as he sought out any relevant information. “Let’s see… there has to be something.”
Kunikida and Atsushi stood guard, their eyes scanning the surrounding area for any signs of danger. The atmosphere felt charged with tension, every shadow appearing ominous in the fading light. Time was slipping through their fingers, and they couldn’t afford to let the trail go cold.
After what felt like an eternity, Dazai’s eyes narrowed, and he leaned closer to the screen. “Here,” he said, his voice low and steady. “There’s a message from earlier today. She was in contact with someone.” His heart raced as he read the words, each one resonating with a sense of urgency. “She mentioned feeling like she was being watched.”
Atsushi’s eyes widened, panic flickering across his features. “That means she knew something was wrong! What if she tried to escape?”
Kunikida’s expression darkened, the realization sinking in. “Then we need to figure out who she was communicating with. They might have answers.”
Dazai’s fingers flew over the screen, opening the thread of messages. “There’s a contact listed here that I don’t recognize.” He glanced up at the others, a determined glint in his eye. “We need to find out who this is. They might have vital information about her situation.”
Atsushi nodded, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly as they worked together. “Let’s track this person down. If they were in contact with Y/N, they might know where she is or who took her.”
As they began formulating a plan, the weight of their mission loomed large. They were up against an unknown enemy, one who had already shown they were willing to resort to violence. But with each piece of information they uncovered, their determination solidified.
“Stay sharp,” Dazai warned, his tone low as they prepared to move out. “We don’t know what we’re up against, but we’ll find her. We have to.”
With a collective nod, the group set off, their hearts united by a common purpose. They would do whatever it took to bring Y/N back safely, no matter the cost. As the shadows lengthened around them, the promise of rescue ignited their spirits, and they stepped into the unknown, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

@demon-blood-youths
“There is a possibility that people learn from their mistakes. And there is also a possibility that people don’t learn, I won’t deny that but that just means there must be something that was missed. Sometimes, there just needs to be a specific thing that can help push the person to the correct path, even ones that seem unredeemable. The best for us to do is to protect the innocent. Protect, not be the executioner. I understand why Phantom Slasher doing what he does but those are his ideals and beliefs.” Reality has always been cruel. Perhaps, people would argue that Phantom Slasher was a realist while he was a realist trapped in his ideals but it was those ideals that he strongly followed. “That is what differs between the Armed Detective Agency and Phantom Slasher. We are an agency that focuses on protecting and saving lives. That requires us to fight against criminals and we will do so at any cost as long as it is to protect the people. Phantom Slasher’s purpose is to hunt and execute the criminals and in doing so, he believes he can protect the people in his own way.”
“I apologize, I do not know a lot about American comics. The only thing I know about the Joker is that he is Batman’s nemesis and a creepy looking clown. I do agree that the laws and court is not perfect but that doesn’t make a person better than the law. There are other ways to bring change.” Not that he is against breaking the law, but only if it is to protect and save.
When Sai talked about bring closure, he couldn’t help but remembered Rokuzo Taguchi.
“If it is not justice, would it be closure or revenge that they want?”
It's true. Each place has its own set of problems. Corruption is hard to fight because it is always enabled or people don't see it. To fight corruption, you just need the right people and effective methods to deal with it.

Sai listened to him and looked away, "Sometimes...the bullies who don't learn end up becoming the worst human beings on the planet." He mutters under her breath. There is some disdain when he says this. He lets out a sigh.

"Sorry." He apologizes to Kunkida, "It's true that some people learn from their mistakes and get a second chance. Not disagreeing with that, sir. But some people don't learn, and end up becoming worse. Those are the ones that got to go." Sai said. "People who make a lot of people's lives worse and kill a lot of people for the benefit of themselves don't learn at all. It's either they were raised like that or they were always like that." Sai frowns with his arms crossed, leaning back against the wall.
"Maybe...the Phantom Slasher has to kill some criminals not because it's the right thing to do." Sai said. "Maybe it's because he doesn't want anyone to become a victim of these bad guys, you know?"
"It's like..giving the Joker too many chances and he ends up killing innocent people in the future, you know? Batman can't kill him because of his moral code which I respect! But it shows us...that you can't rely on courts to do their job properly if Joker is out and about, doing the same over and over again." He said, giving that analogy since Kunkida brings up likening Batman to Phantom Slasher.
Sai hates giving people second chances and along the way they screw up, hurting innocent people in the process or worse killing people by not turning over to a new left.
So he is careful about whom he spares.
"And people who lost the ones they cared about. It might not be justice. It's...more like closure so the victims can move on properly." Sai said. That's all it is. "Guess...that's what I think..."

rokuzou my best friend rokuzou
[ID: Digital concept art of Rokuzō Taguchi from Bungo Stray Dogs. On the left, Rokuzō stands with one arm behind his back and the other in a peace sign in front of his chest. He is in his canon design and colour palette, with a note above him that reads: "og".
On the right, him in the same pose is now wearing a redesign in brighter and more shaded colours. It is labeled on the top as "get ADA-ed boy". His hair is now tied at the back with a white ribbon, labeled with an arrow as "Kunikida influence". His shirt is now black, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, his yellow sweater is now sleeveless, and he wears blue headphones around his neck that are the same colour his canon shirt used to be. The headphones are labeled "he IS a hacker" and the shirt plus sweater are labeled as "top = Kunikida again". His green pants have remained relatively the same with the one leg sleeve rolled up, but he now has pockets. His shoes also are the same, but a blue sock is visible on the leg where his pants are rolled up. The sock is labeled "accent colour".
In the middle, there are two headshots of Rokuzō facing the viewer with a smug expression; the top of his redesign and the bottom of his original design. Underneath these both is a colour pallet from his new design. The second image is the same, except the new designs now have glasses and there is another handwritten note that reads: "i can't decide about glasses". /End ID]

I'm curios on your thoughts on Rokuzo, he's a minor character, but seeing you post about him made me smile! Thanks for your contribution to the minor character space :)
Aw I’m glad.
I may adore characters like Atsushi and Kunikida but I’m always here for the minor characters.
And I find Rokuzo really interesting. I mean he’s the son of a man Kunikida couldn’t save that’s working at the Agency as a sassy lil hacker.
And has a giant fucking fish.
That’s quite the impression to have and the way he was incorporated into the events was so good.
Granted I have not read Dazai’s entrance exam yet so take that with a grain of salt.
Rokuzo’s such an important character. He’s the embodiment of Kunikida’s guilt. The what if my ideals can’t save everyone then what do I do?
I also think he could serve as a parallel to Kyouka. In the sense that Kunikida failed to save Rokuzo and now he’s telling Atsushi to be careful when trying to save Kyouka.
If that makes sense.
I think he’s fun, I like to think Katai gave him training and he would’ve been friends with Atsushi.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - Voice Actor Headcanons.
So here’s the latest update of this little series on my blog where I assign official voice actors to characters that don’t have them. I also did this with the previous title, Legends: Arceus.
I have to reiterate the same points every time, but it’s just so we’re all aware -
This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.
Every major character in both games is included here, so there are HEAVY SPOILERS for the game’s main storylines. DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME OR DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED.
The only character I did not include in this is Jacq. He already has an official VA thanks to the Pokemon Go Gimmighoul Trailer. I don’t know who it is though because they go uncredited.
So without further ado, I hope you enjoy my ideas. Or don’t. Your choice.
