1. Jason Goes to Hell - This might be the worst movie I have ever watched.......

2. Getting Straight - Slow, bad, flat, preachy, boring, dull. A main character that loves to have opinions and resents others for holding their own viewpoints.

3. Oppenheimer - A total and complete failure. Ugly visually and narratively. Poorly edited, horrible sound mixing. A 2.5 hour long trailer rather than a fully realized film. Built for enjoyment by people who cannot stomach film outside of Marvel slop.

last read: persuasion by jane austen! i have really been into austen’s work as of late, her style entrances me.

currently reading: mostly reading portrait of a thief by grace d. li for my friend’s book club, also occasionally the white album by joan didion.

next reads: northanger abbey, another austen! so excited for this one. i think it’ll be funny. also potentially stargazer by laurie petrou or factory girls by michelle gallen. :)

last read: me by katharine hepburn! i am an autobiography girl to the CORE and this might be the best one i've ever read. she's so smart and funny and you can really tell through the whole book how deeply she values life and how much she enjoys living. really changed my perspective on a lot of things and well, she kind of makes you fall in love with her. highly recommend!!!

currently reading: franny and zooey by j.d. salinger. this book is so DELICIOUS in the way it's written, and i'm enjoying myself immensely! i have an old copy from 1962 and the pages rip a little when i turn them if there's a breeze and i think it just enhances the whole feeling of everything. i <3 artistic snobbery, that's my truth

next reads: i hope to read rubyfruit jungle by rita mae brown and on sun swallowing by dakota warren :) and if the library FINALLY has it available i will be checking out the mccartney legacy at the speed of light once i'm back on campus (can't divert from my brand for too long!)
