Hi im here to tell you why this part of Workin Boys is absolutely fucking amazing

Showstopper, in definition, is an act with a prolonged applause and impressive reaction from the audience enough to interrupt a performance. I really love how they used Show Stopping Number for this scene and it’s the most fitting shit ever. Before being shot, Hidgens was doing the iconic Workin Boys title number, which was also done in Show Stopping Number. And then the moment itself is a showstopper, there's screaming, horror and desperation coming from the audience and even claps coming from (drunk) Linda, a standing ovation.

It's also exactly how it's shown in TGWDLM. When Henry finishes the Workin' Boys bit (before the infected came) he goes directly back to the actual song. “I can't wait to get home to my boys! / A show stopping number / a real show stopper”

And oh god I wish I could explain it deeper but I don't have the words for it. I would also like to mention im so not normal about this, i lov workin boys sm

Todays photos! Made it to the Abandoned District today and finally unlocked the glide outfit. I struggled a lot with some of the platforming challenges (Path to the Dream Warehouse entrance my dearly detested) but I really loved the scene within the Dream Warehouse where you get on the big flying crane and it starts playing the prettiest insert song I've heard in a while.

Also if I had a nickel for every time something happened to the parental figure of one of the female npc's nikki becomes besties with I would have exactly two nickels so far, which is not a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

'm seein ppl say that mizu5 essentially ended on a cliffhanger so they could still profit off transphobes or whatever. that is the most disingenuous an wild way to read the story idek where to start (rambled spoilers under cut)

like even tho they don directly have mizuki state she is trans 's very much. yea this is an npc bein transphobic an outin her. like her reaction proves that too. like theyre not holdin off to keep gettin money from ppl. theyre writin a story an they are stretchin it to 2 events. like theyre writin a story an leavin it at a cliffhanger. an the readin that the purpose is for profit in such a weird way is fuckin WILD to me. like, yes i get it they could have had mizuki say smthn but i think w the story it would work more to have her say it in the speculated (an likely) ena event continuation. i think ppl need to take a step back an realise that this isn the full mizuki reveal story (especially w the area conversation an menu shit). we're gettin more, an even then what we do have is very much canon confirmation

Well, I beat BG3. Not going to go into any spoilers at all but the ending (or, the variation I got, at least) kinda sucked. Which isn't -really- a big surprise, games like this are a lot more about the journey anyways. If I were to rate the game I'd say it's a solid 9/10, but there are so many weird little issues that really shouldn't be in the game considering it was in Early Access for so long that hold it back from being a 10. The ending (that I got) kinda sucking also doesn't help in that regard.

"Very well," he said begrudgingly, lacing his hands behind his back. “Would you like me to start at the beginning of the so-called pantheon, or give the abbreviated version as to why your cause is nearly hopeless?”

because they’re the new comics that come out on Wednesday (or Tuesday in DC’s case now) and that’s just like the common vernacular for taggin comic spoilers
