Favorite version of Link? (Linked Universe?)
My two favourite LU boys are Time and Wind, largely because of their original games. For Wind - man, what a character he is. He loves his family and would do anything to protect them. He wasn’t born a hero but he literally fished up the Triforce from the bottom of the sea and banged on the gods’s door until they made him a hero. I hc that before his adventure, on Outset, he was taught that his opinions matter and he should always let his emotions out. That teaching served him so well for his adventures, when he started constantly interacting with people who didn’t believe in him - Tetra and the pirates (at first), all the adults of the Great Sea who just saw him as a kid, and the King, the old guardians of Hyrule and even Ganondorf, who all couldn’t look at him without seeing the Hero of Time. Wind stood up for himself against them all, and that’s reflected in LU. He isn’t afraid to make his opinions heard, and he challenges the others for treating him differently due to his age. He is just such a good lad, and tbh probably the most stable Link post adventure. He’s seen some scary shit but he has a big support network who are there for him. I wrote a full essay but oh well, I love Wind!!
And Time’s a pretty cool guy too I guess
Favorite version of Zelda?
Spirit Tracks Zelda. I will hold back my character essay this time, but just cause I gotta save it for another post. I also adore BOTW Zelda, cause who doesn’t?
If you were a Zelda character, what race would you be?
Rito cause I wanna fly babey
Favorite Zelda Villain/Boss?
Ghirahim. So bloody iconic, his theme slaps, he’s scary but hilarious too, and the reveal that he’s Demise’s sword spirit is soooo good. I love him. 110% the most memorable Zelda villain
As for bosses, I love that one guy in Spirit Tracks where u just travel around his nead in a minecart. That shit was fun. Also, the Helmaroc King’s theme slaps and the fight itself is VERY satisfying cause you finally get payback on the big mean bird who ruined your life!! Overall though I feel like the Zelda games I’ve beaten so far don’t have THAT memorable bosses
