SD in general means Super Deformed, it's a chibi style that's not unique to Kamen Rider (Gundam also has a bunch of SD stuff, mentioning it here bc i love those models :3)

But since you're asking in relation with my art, here's the ones I made art for:

SD The Great Battle

A series of videogames that's a crossover between Kamen Rider, Gundam and Ultraman characters, all in the SD style. An original character called Fighter Roar joins the team from the second game on. They're very fun and wacky game that don't really have a coherent plot but we love them for that :3 In IV they get a giant robot (Compatible Kaiser my beloved) and in V they're cowboys. I love the cowboy outfits so much. Games one to five have english fan translations, now I need someone to translate Gaia Saver because apparently that one has the Rider Killer lore....

Kamen Rider SD: Strange!? Man Spider (or simply Kamen Rider SD OVA)

If you've been around the fandom you probably already know this one. It's a 30 minutes short where RX and the other Battle Riders (Ichigo and ZX) have to rescue RX's crush from shocker, with the help of the Mechanic Riders (V3, X and Super1). Wild Team (Stronger, Amazon and Nigo) appears for like. 3 minutes total at the end but they're my darlings and I love them. Other very important thing in this short is the Rider Carrier, a giant robot grasshopper that acts as their base and I think every version of the riders shoul have a giant grasshopper base not just the SDs u.u This short is apparently an adaptation from the Mighty Riders manga, but I haven't investigated it yet so I can't confirm that. It's also connected to a couple more SD videogames, Sortie!! Rider Machines and Run! Mighty Riders (the team names come from here as far as I can tell)

Kamen Rider SD: Hurricane Legend / Kamen Rider SD: Legend of the Stormy Age

(listen. I know the direct translation is the first one. But the second one is on the back cover so if they gave it an official english title I'm using that :P)

This is probably the one you're asking for, but I wanted to use the excuse to talk about the other two :P

I'll be honest, going in blind on this one is probably the best experience. Do not look up panels you will get spoiled. The basic plot is V3 and Riderman travel around to recruit the other Riders to defeat Shocker. I want to talk about it more but again, I had so much fun going "WHAT!?!" while reading it that I must resist- Might post more about them but will tag it as spoilers

Other SD stuff that I care less about, for completionist sake:

• there's a third SD manga (Kamen Rider SD: Roaring Laughs School) that I know nothing of (I think it's a 4koma gag manga? I'll be honest I'm not very interested in it so I haven't done much research);

• the most recent SD game is SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble, a game for the movie, but that one seems to be simply a side scroller so again, no interest from me;

• Lost Heroes 1 and 2 technically use chibi-ish versions of Riders, Gundams and Ultramen, and are part of the Compati Hero series (the same series as The Great Battle), but they don't have SD in the title;

•there's. sooooo many sports games in the Compati Hero series. I like the Battle Dodgeball ones :3 Also speaking of Compati Hero, special mention to Super Hero Operations because that's the next one I wanna play, I get to meet Zubat, Metalder and a bunch of others there :3

Wild Life Session 5 Summary

Below the cut are major spoilers (the wildcard, deaths, ect.) and a lot of text; you have been warned,

Wild Card: Trivia Robot!

Lightning - that only you can see and hear - will strike when your trivia robot is summoned. You have (5 hard/4 medium/3 easy) minutes -starting when you read the question - to answer a multiple choice trivia question about the Life Series, 3 lvls of difficultly (easy has 3 options, medium has 4 options, hard has 5 options) + you CANNOT type in chat when you have a quiz. Time remaining is displayed on a UI after you look at the question. If the robot is unable to path to its intended target to ask the question I believe it will teleport to them... but not AFTER the question has been asked so there was a good amount of robot hiding and heists.

Each player is asked around 5-6 questions throughout the session, in intervals of around ~30 minutes

Correct = rewards you can't get elsewhere similar to succeeding a SL task (NOTE: Rewards can ONLY be picked up by the one who answered the question)

Fail = bad things spawn a mob OR negative effect:

Run out of time = VHSnail will spawn and hunt you down until your next question, 70% speed + no linked breath meter

Note:Cherri states that the quiz was compiled by cocoabats, cherrifire, lew, applestruda, zera hopepetal, xmaruu and hoffen; this makes so much sense. A lot of the questions are very based in fandom knowledge... (and there's a lot on Martyn and Ren specifically, lmao) and I would be very confused and slightly spooked if Grian wrote all these questions (especially after viewing his Session 5 episode)...

Please give this group more difficult and intellectually stimulating questions that yield better rewards (so that they may stop embarrassing themselves by failing at the simple stuff) Grian can end up getting to the right answer after a little but is just as prone to forgetting or misremembering, Skizz is rather good at the Trivia but keeps getting stumped by the Double Life questions or ones he wasn't there for... Easy question were easy and Hard ones Hard, similar to the GGGG's actually. Funny enough these two almost had reverse difficulty, where Martyns questions started out hard and ended easy and almost vice verse for Ren.

It was really funny to see those who took time to deliberate over their answer (ex: Grian, Bdubs) vs. those who over thought their answer (ex: Etho, Impulse) vs. those who just sent-it instantly w/ the first suggestion or intuition (ex:Scar, Martyn <- unless Ren was there?)

Mumbo and Pearl attempting to put Gem in lava while she has Fire Resistance is hilarious

Tuff Guys started w/ 3 separate bases//towers, BUT one got burned down by Scar and the other exploded... I think all three are going to end up moviing into Etho's copper one... if it survives. An attempt was made to stay apart, it is still being attempted.

Etho killing Bdubs' horse outta spite//fast horse envy is hilarious

Tango embracing his inner gremlin and successfully killing Joel twice + being an absolute menace to Skizz again

Scar comes up w/ the code word "catdog" in chat if there is need for help in trivia -> Lizzie uses it a good amount (not sure how since you can't text in chat once Trivia is open, maybe if you type when it is dropping from the sky "like Mary Poppins" as soon as you see//hear lighting it would work?

Lizzie saved from dying by the quick regen from suspicious stew. Also I think Gem and Joel have somehow convinced themselves that Lizzie is on 5 lives and not 4, or more likely they missed her earlier death to Skizz (In Wildlife: only Skizz has killed Lizzie, only Tango has killed Joel, only snails have killed Scar... with no snail wildcard is Scar immortal? hah)

Lizzie needs help managing these two and their snail kryptonite, they are so good a lot of things BUT... Scar and Jimmy cannot survive vs. snails for the life of themselves: it requires patience and spacial awareness... and is boring, tedious and easy yet deadly to forget... you see the issue here.

Maces one-shot one durability wonders: Pearl got a mace right before the session ended for some shenanigans next session, I think Tango still has one? The one Mumbo got is now in Scars hands. Does Skizz still have his?

BigB getting "cured" of being a creaking last session like it was just some seasonal flu is hilarious, meanwhile Scott is leaning more into it... well as much as Scott skins do, w/ a vine in the hair and eyes on his back. The dichotomy is funny.

Scott trying to convince himself as much as his team to not do the Scott thing(tm)... but its such a good strategic play to do so: erases the target from his back + takes pearl off red and makes it so she doesn't have to kill 1/2 remaining dark greens to live... he ends up sacrificing himself again, lmao

Cleo getting into their love for arson by burning Gem's barn in retaliation for being luring into a trap... it gives Cleo so much serotonin to watch the world burn. Also Scott joins in the arson and chaos by burning Ren and Martyn's treehouse... stick things, and just deciding to enable his teams chaos... You know that one meme w/ Cleo & Scott holding gremlin Impulse & Pearl on a leash? Then Cleo joined the gremlins... now, I think they are unleashed, (I think it's always been that way, some are just better at practicing restraint than others)

Etho promising eternal loyalty to the GGGG's for a trident of all things... channeling the sad dog//wet cat energy. Also BigB weaving in and outta good favor w/ the GGGG's while building rapport w/ Renwood mound, and Ren trying to recruit Lizzie and remaining in fear of Pearl. Grian and Scar having a complicated relationship(tm). Gem and Pearl and their drama for the sake of Gem wanting drama. Tango being a menace to Joel & Skizz, Etho to Scar (and vice verse) Bdubs? Not sure actually, I think he's been trying to play it safe after loosing 3 lives to snails.

Impulse channeling that nervous and perpetually suspicious (he himself and of others) vibe this entire season b/c he's been burned by betrayal so much is a mood. In fact the entirety of the GGGG's and their trust issues and stance on betrayal being those who betray the least but are betrayed the most... ah the narrative is satisfying either way it goes

Grian is actually fairly bad at Trivia, Scar is pretty good but not infallible but either way not a lotta people trust him, Martyn's answers you should take w/ an ocean of salt (unless you are Ren or he sounds unsure)+ like... he doesn't know the answer most of the time but is VERY good at sounding like he knows the answer and often wants to get it wrong for the other, Gem (she got all of them right) and Mumbo got a lot right for not being in a lotta session due to good question luck and others helping

Renwood mound turned to the kiddy pool -attempting to rebrand to the Paddle Pals- after burning down and is that much safer for it... also Ren found his schrödingers horse. Also both of them going out to get answers for the other is so funny.

When Mumbo goes out Pearl, Gem and Scar all instantly OptiFine zoom-in on Grian in his tower: Pearl mention he looks like he's standing there in "stunned silence", Gem says "Grian is definitely grieving - right now" and Scar says "Oh he's crying in his tower like Rapunzel, look at his little blond hair. Awwww look at his little head he's moving around all sad-like"

Should i even tag this as Dreamswap?? I mean... you wouldn't know without the cape and everything... The context for this are the upcoming chapters of my fic "Have You Found This Missing Person?" The premise is around on what happened if Nightmare got kidnapped by some very bad people. Inspired by a discontinued fic called "A Possibility" By ShandyCandy278, but the fic i'm working on is a much darker twist to it, but not by a lot. Well, for me at least. Nightmare is bloody here because... take a wild guess. The fic is mature with heavy topics such as R*pe and Murder so beware. Remember to read the tags. I do have oneshots that consist of either fluff or angst so take your pick. This is in one of the scenes that i haven't written yet... so technically this is spoilers? I don't know anymore, i just needed to draw something that didn't take too long.

NOTE: I have to note that Firestar is kitty Anglican NOT kitty Catholic

Kitty jesus, he believes in starclan which is the kitty version of heaven/god and yea. All the warrior cats characters except those outside the clans or those that are atheist believe in the kitty heaven and would irl be bri-ish and christian as hell so. The authors are all older british christian women and so the way starclan is written is like undoubtedly that.

The main religion in the series is extremely catholic coded. Most clan cats believe in Starclan and the Dark Forest(or heaven and hell). There is a set of rule they must uphold and follow, where following them leads to heaven and breaking them leads to hell. Their religious leaders are sworn to celibacy, and the punishments that "code breakers"(or cats who break the rules) face are extremely similar to situations people with religious trauma have gone through.

I'm pretty sure you've already got plenty of submissions for her so I'll just say she was raised in what is basically a cult (technically a nunnery but let's be real) dedicated to keeping the body of the thing that will kill God behind the rock. One of their prayers is actually "I pray the rock is never rolled away". Harrow is extremely devout as penance for her earlier heretical actions in the tomb as a child (spoiler!) so the Catholic guilt really comes through

she’s number one practitioner of space Catholicism. The locked tomb is chock full of Christian (catholic) imagery themes metaphors etc. just look at her she’s got a bone rosary

They're Catholicism with extra bones. Everyone is a nun. They have what is basically a rosary made from knuckle bones. They technically worship the same God as everyone else, but they're waaaay more focused on The Body in the Tomb (Mary) and we get a moment where we find out that while everyone else prays the equivilent of The Lords Prayer, they're doing the equivilent of Hail Mary. And they paint their faces with skulls.

She thinks leaving dry bread in a drawer is taking care of someone. She's in love with a 10,000 year old corpse (the same one they worship). She spent ALL NIGHT digging with her bare hands to make sure a field had bones every 5 feet so she could fight her girlfriend - I mean, greatest enemy. Spoiler territory: She's been puppeting her parents corpses since she was 8 years old. Instead of grieving her dead girlfriend, she gives herself a lobotomy. She makes soup with bone in it so she can use the bone IN THEIR STOMACH to try and kill them.

Anti-propaganda (spoilers)

I love the Locked Tomb series but Harrowhark has daddy issues with God, had a childhood crush on God's cryogenic partner, and is in love with God's daughter, not to mention that she's essentially a bone-bender. The religion on her home planet exists in a way that is technically against the will of the canon in-universe God, even. All of this to say, Harrowhark is heretical at minimum if not an outright witch. Terrible Catholic. Burn her.

I'm all out of sims to share 5 facts about (at least sims old enough to have backstories!) but @cowplant-snacks tagged me in her post and it's got me thinking…

Why not share 5 predictions based on how I think Lydia’s life might be shaped by her in-game quirks and traits? 👀 You could consider these mild spoilers, I guess, in that it’s stuff that hasn’t happened yet, but it’s absolutely possible that some if not all of my predictions will end up in the scrap heap based on luck rolls or how things play out in-game. I really do let that stuff shape a lot of what happens in my BACC!

Lydia's toddler trait is Inquisitive (my choice after she earned the Top-Notch Infant trait) and she’s well on track to max all her toddler skills and earn Top-Notch Toddler as well. I don’t know what trait I will choose for her when she ages up just yet but I think inquisitiveness and a desire for learning will carry on into her childhood.

I think Lydia will be musically inclined (she’s had the Loves Sounds quirk as both an infant and a toddler) — and might pick up the guitar skill from Tyler, or learn another instrument on her own.

Lydia also has the Destructive toddler quirk (hence the more than average amount of autonomous messes she gets up to making!) and… as much as the only child, Top-Notch traits, etc might paint a picture of a golden child, I think some rebellion might be in order. Especially if the wilds stick around and get her fired up about autonomy and child rights.

Looking way way way into the future, I see Lydia following in her parents’ footsteps as a fellow Founder (technically speaking) of New Promise. There is so much to be accomplished, and I can’t see it all happening in Octavia and Tyler’s lifetimes, even with my ridiculously long lifespans. 😁 Based on her current traits and quirks I see her playing that role similar to Tyler: both the big ideas and getting your hands dirty making it happen stuff, with someone else’s more rational mindset present to bounce ideas off of and help strategize / prioritize work.

Lydia will remain an only child (not based on traits or anything, just storyline). I imagine the family will always have at least one dog and she will have a close bond with household pets and other animals.
