Hi! This might be very random, but I was looking through pictures of Brian Epstein and George Martin, and I felt a vibe between them… could you maybe do a reading if they had something going on? If there was a romance between them?

First of all, thank you for this question. I haven’t been very much active since I’m dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety 😔. What did George M think of Brian?

I think when their association started, George had a very good opinion of Brian. It was like he was the “ideal partner”, but the thing is, this opinion changed when George could see “the other side” of Brian. It was like suddenly Brian would be this crazy guy who would be in every party of the town (🤣). So it was difficult to know who Brian was. For George there was this “crazy” Brian and the “educated”, “refined” Brian. Even when he thought that Brian had this Jekyll and Hyde personality, he thought that what they did together was actually very good. He was satisfied with the results, it couldn’t be better than that. But George also thought that this in the long run wouldn’t be very good for Brian. It was like he could maybe suggested him to change his path, because no matter how successful they were before, it was very evident that the work they did didn’t make Brian’s life easier. It was like Brian needed to make his life “right”.

George perceived that Brian wasn’t very responsible to his suggestions, and it was even worse when Brian would accept work opportunities that would evidently made his life miserable. But it was like Brian WANTED that, and that would raise George’s eyebrows, because he couldn’t understand that. It was like Brian decided to take these poor decisions, and didn’t want any help.

What did Brian think of George M?

I think when Brian met George, Brian thought that George was this brutally honest kind of person. The thing is, I think Brian took for granted why would George be in the first place like that. It is explained in the cards that the intentions of George were to always make things good, to be “correct”. Even when it would bother some people, he would always try to make things “right”.

But for Brian, these kind of attitudes would be for him, kind of restrictive. And they would make George the “old man”, the one with wisdom, always careful to what to do. The thing is, that this kind of energy wasn’t very much accepted for Brian. Brian would see this kind of a treat to his own authority. So it was like he would make decisions just based on what he could do to show his power. It was like his decisions were all right and nobody could say anything about that, but also, anytime he would fail, it was like he could see George looking at him. With that George’s look (the look of somebody that knows that you were wrong all the time but still let you to do it so you could learn about what you did 😭).

I think one of the reasons that Brian went to other options was because of this, he just accepted any venue he could get just to prove that he could do it. Did he think about it? No, was he even sure about it? No. But he needed to prove something.

Was “something” going on between George M and Brian?

I don’t think so.

What the cards are showing me was how difficult was to work in this relationship.

It was like their egos, their way of thinking would be so much that they would clash. It was like they didn’t want also to change their way of thinking. So it was like they would wonder sometimes, “why am I even trying?”. But they were bond through the huge responsibilities that they shared and that sometimes would be too much. I think because of that, because they knew it would be “just business”, they would sometimes distrust each other. It is showed that later, when Brian decided to go through other venues, he kind of expected to George to “say” something, but it was like George just observed and let him go. That didn’t sit well with Brian, it was like the relationship was worse than before. George didn’t “give” him much.
