Nightly Rituals
LOOKISM & WINDBREAKER BOYS WHILE YOU DOING YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE BEFORE BED
Gun
Park Jung Gun likes your presence in his apartments, it’s always little bit more warmer and cozy with you. Especially he likes time before bed, and both of you small routines. well, he could call his routine small - just stealing some incomprehensible bottles from you, he doesn’t bother his head to read it, as long as it seems to smooth his skin he use it! also, maybe reading some book or answering to forgotten messages while he waiting for you from the shower - that’s his usual routine before bed.
he could hear the water in shower stop flowing, you wrapped yourself in a towel and slipped out of the bathroom. picking and putting on your pajama the inescapable process has been started. Jung Gun learned your skincare routine perfectly - you always start with your face adding toner, letting it dry while you adding extra products on your hair, then you using millions of bottles - moisturizers, essence, serums, creams on your face, then switching to your body, and finally drying your hair and final step - adding that tasty smelling oil on your hair and boom! you are ready for… bed… “Hun, admit it honestly, you really enjoy all this stuff and not getting tired every time?” he said, getting comfortable and pulling you towards him “It’s one of the ways of meditation you know, Gun?” you murmur softly into his chest
Ma Taesoo
Taesoo enjoys 100% of time when you staying in his apartments. he honestly asked you few times to move in with him, but you politely rejected this idea (i headcanon that Taesoo live in stereotypical bachelor designed apartment… imagine bathroom with no place to put all your bottles? and rooms with cold/neutral lights? brrr, my horror honestly)
and here he are - sprawled out in bed, with his hands behind his head and leaning on the headboard, watching you. in turn, you occupied the table in his room, laying out your makeup bag, hair dryer and some other little things there, and now you were fussily rushing from the bedroom to the bathroom to wash your hands, looking in the mirror with this terrible cold-white lighting in the bathroom. Taesoo chuckled softly, when he saw how you add another cream on your body - specifically on your thighs, saying with his husky voice “Chill woman, enough marinating yourself in all that jojoba creams, im not gonna eat you alive, while you sleep” he grinned at you and pulled you into your shared bed. “Maybe not gonna eat, but you know sweet” he said hugging you from behind, burrowing his nose into your neck “You smell so good and nice that i might change my mind.”
Vinny
it was nice to came to Vinny in apartments that Juwon give to him, honestly better than his previous home. the soft glow of bedside lamps cast a warm ambience across the room, painting shadows that danced along the walls. Vinny lounged in bed, his attention divided between a phone in his hands and the anticipation of your return. you finally took your time after preparing for final exams, allowing yourself to indulge in the luxury of self-care, a small act of kindness to soothe both body and soul. you slowly going through your skincare routine, gently massaging essence into your cheeks and admiring yourself in mirror.
Vinny shifted against the pillows, his gaze drifting to the doorway as he eagerly awaited your return. the soft shuffle of footsteps drew his attention, and his heart skipped a beat as you appeared in the doorway, bathed in the soft glow of the moon and city lights outside the window. as you settled beside him, he reached out to brush a stray lock of hair from your face, his touch gentle against your skin. "Hey," he murmured, his voice filled with warmth. "I've missed you." you leaned into his touch, your heart overflowing with love for the man beside you. "I missed you too," you replied, pressing a soft kiss to his lips. in that moment, as you curled up together beneath the covers, everything seems right in the world, every problem just disappeared.
Wooin
he always like to violate and invade your personal space. not that you were against it, like now, when he flatly refused to wait for you in bed while you completed your six-step skincare routine and chose to join you. he insisted that he wanted that black mask be put on his skin, while you muttered that he should clean his skin first and then add serum and only after put that mask on. "Babe, why so many unnecessary steps, you know that this mask won't make big changes anyway, right?" he whine like a child who tired of shopping for groceries, when he only agreed to came because his mum promised to buy him some chips. "Because it's the whole thing about skincare, hun!!! You doing it not because of effect, but for the process!! Trust the process you know??!" you said turning to him with annoyed face and that funny crab hair band that Wooin bought for you last time he went to shopping center. he said it looked cool and reminded him of you when you blushing.
after the last five minutes of him hovering around you like an annoying fly, whining about how he wanted a mask too, you finally gave up. going to the refrigerator and deftly pulling out a black bubble mask, you went into the room. and Wooin looked out of the bathroom in bewilderment - where did you go if he was in the other room? as you returning to bathroom, you made him sit on the side of the tub and pulled the same hairband over his head, only green in the shape of a toad, “They didn’t have anything with snakes, so i thought another amphibian would be a good idea too.” you said pulling his hair up and putting that most wanted black bubble mask on his face.

- the kings + their problems
𝖩𝖨𝖢𝖧𝖠𝖭𝖦 𝖪𝖶𝖠𝖪 - ᴘᴀʀᴀɴᴏɪᴀ
The dimly lit apartment casted an eerie shadow over Jichang's tense features as he paced back and forth, his fingers twitching.
Gitae Kim was definitely something… and it had left him on edge, his mind plagued with thoughts of potential danger lurking around every corner, worsened by the fresh bandage on his neck – a reminder of what he had barely escaped.
A soft knock at the door made Jichang freeze, his eyes widening ever so slightly as his gaze darted toward the sound. With a slight tremble in his hands, he approached the door cautiously, peering through the peephole with bated breath.
Relief washed over him when he spotted your familiar face on the other side. Quickly, he unlocked the door, ushering you inside with a forced smile that didn't quite reach his eyes.
"Hey," you greeted, concern etched on your features as you took in his tense demeanor and the bandage peeking out from beneath his collar. "How are you holding up?"
Jichang forced a nonchalant shrug, but his eyes betrayed him, "Yeah, I'm fine," he lied, his voice wavering ever so slightly. "Just been a long day, you know?"
You stepped closer, gently brushing your fingers against the bandage on his neck. Jichang flinched at the sudden contact, his muscles taut, but he didn't pull away. Instead, he seemed to melt into your touch, craving the comfort and security you provided.
"Jichang," you murmured, your thumb rubbing soothing circles on the tense muscles of his neck. "You don't have to put up a brave front with me. Talk to me."
A tremor ran through Jichang's body as he exhaled a shaky breath, his walls slowly crumbling under your tender gaze. "I can't shake this feeling that something bad is going to happen," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "Ever since the run-in, I've been constantly on edge, waiting for something else to happen."
You pulled him into a warm embrace, your fingers combing through his hair in a calming motion while your other hand continued to soothe the tension in his neck. "I'm here now," you whispered, your lips brushing against his cheek. "You're safe here, Jichang. We won't let anything happen to you."
Jichang leaned into your embrace, his rigid posture gradually relaxing as he allowed himself to bask in your presence. His trembling subsided, and his racing heartbeat slowed to a steady rhythm, lulled by your gentle voice and the caress of your touch.
𝖲𝖤𝖮𝖭𝖦𝖩𝖨 𝖸𝖴𝖪 - ᴜɴᴡᴏʀᴛʜɪɴᴇꜱꜱ
The sweet aroma of simmering sugar filled the air as Seongji and you worked side by side, carefully threading sugar on top of the strawberries.
A playful grin tugged at your lips as you nudged Seongji's shoulder, earning you a mock-offended gasp from him.
"Hey, watch it! You're going to make me mess up," Seongji chided.
"Oh, please, like yours could ever be anything less than perfect," you teased.
Seongji rolled his eyes, but the faint blush dusting his cheeks betrayed his pleasure at your compliment. As you reached for another skewer, your movements slowed, his gaze fixating on your hand – your perfectly normal, five-fingered hand.
A pang of insecurity flickered in his chest, and he quickly averted his eyes, turning his attention back to the simmering pot of sugar. But as he stirred, his mind wandered, dwelling on the differences between the two of you.
You were the complete opposite of him.
You were kind, loving, compassionate, open, and definitely more social.
He was cold, distrusting, introverted, he hated people (minus the children that you call **your nickname for them**).
"Who could ever love someone like me?" he thought, his brow furrowing as self-doubt crept in.
So lost in his troubled musings, Seongji failed to notice the splattering of hot sugar until a droplet landed on your hand, eliciting a hiss of pain from you.
"Ouch! Seongji, the pot!" you exclaimed, quickly grabbing a towel and wiping the sugar from your hand.
Seongji's head snapped up, his eyes widening as he realized the sugar had begun to burn and without thinking, he reached for the pot.
"Seongji, wait!" you cried out, but it was too late. He grasped the handle of the hot pot, and a pained hiss escaped his lips as the searing heat made contact with his hand.
Quickly, you grabbed your towel and wrapped it around your hand before carefully removing the pot from the heat and setting it aside. Your heart raced with concern as you rushed back to Seongji's side, gently cradling his injured hand in yours.
"Oh, Seongji," you murmured, your voice laced with worry as you examined the angry red burn marring his skin.
Seongji remained silent, his body tense as he watched you tenderly care for his wound. He couldn't comprehend why you were fussing over him, why you weren't repulsed.
"How can you stand to look at me, let alone touch me?" he whispered, his voice thick with self-loathing.
Your heart ached at the pain lacing his words, and you gently took his hand in yours, cradling it with the utmost tenderness. "Seongji, you are not a monster," you said firmly, your thumb caressing the extra digits with awe. "This is a part of you, and it's beautiful."
Seongji's eyes widened, a flicker of disbelief flickering across his features. "But—"
You shook your head vehemently, not letting him finish his sentence, leaning forward to press a featherlight kiss to each of his fingertips, cherishing every inch of his being. "You are perfect, just as you are."
Tears welled up in Seongji's eyes, but for the first time in a long while, they weren't born of anguish. Instead, they were tears of relief and acceptance.
"How did I get so lucky?" he whispered, his voice thick with emotion as he gazed at you with adoration.
You smiled warmly, intertwining your fingers with his uninjured hand. "I'm the lucky one. And I'll spend every day reminding you of how truly special and loved you are if that's what it takes."
Seongji's lips curved into a genuine smile, gently, he raised your hand to his lips, pressing a tender kiss to the exact spot where the sugar had burned you earlier.
"Thank you," he murmured, his eyes filled with gratitude and love. "For seeing me, for loving me, for everything."
𝖳𝖠𝖤𝖲𝖮𝖮 𝖬𝖠 - ᴠɪɴᴅɪᴄᴛɪᴠᴇ
Taesoo Ma's muscles ached with fatigue as he unleashed a flurry of punches against the sturdy trunk of a pine tree. His knuckles stung with each impact, but the physical pain was a mere distraction from the burning rage that consumed him.
"That bastard," he growled through gritted teeth, his voice dripping with venom as he punched away at the stubborn tree. "I'll make you pay for everything you've done."
Taesoo had bought this secluded mountain property for hunting purposes, but it just turned into a place to train and hone his skills until he was ready for his rematch.
But as the days turned into weeks, his thirst for vengeance had morphed into an all-consuming obsession, driving him to push himself to the brink of exhaustion.
The sound of a tent flap unzipping behind him barely registered in Taesoo's mind, consumed as he was by his relentless assault on the tree. It wasn't until a familiar voice called out to him that he finally paused, chest heaving with exertion.
"Taesoo? Have you been out here all night?" you asked, concern lacing your tone as you took in his disheveled appearance.
Taesoo wiped the sweat from his brow, offering you a tired smile. "I lost track of time."
You frowned, crossing the clearing to stand closer to him. "You're going to run yourself into the ground at this rate," you chided gently, reaching out to cradle his bruised knuckles in your hands, your gaze lingering on the eye patch covering his missing eye.
Taesoo tensed, his good eye narrowing as he turned his head away, shielding himself from your view. He braced himself for the inevitable look of pity or disgust, but it never came.
Instead, you gently cupped his cheek, turning his face back towards you with a tender touch. "Hey," you murmured, your voice soft and reassuring. "You don't have to hide from me."
Before Taesoo could protest, you pulled him into a warm embrace, your arms wrapping around him as you rested your cheek against his chest. "I'm here, Taesoo. All of you. The scars, the pain, the anger – I'll carry it all with you."
"I have to get stronger," he murmured, his voice laced with determination. "I can't let him get away with what he did to me, to the others."
Your heart ached at the pain etched into his features, and you gently guided him towards a nearby fallen log, coaxing him to sit down beside you.
"Taesoo, you're already one of the strongest people I know," you said earnestly, your thumb tracing soothing circles over his calloused knuckles. "But strength alone won't be enough to defeat someone like James Lee."
Taesoo's brow furrowed, a flicker of doubt crossing his features. "Then what else is there?"
You offered him a soft smile, "You need to take care of yourself, too," you murmured. "Pushing yourself to the brink of exhaustion won't do you any good in the long run."
Taesoo let out a weary sigh, his shoulders slumping as if the weight of the world rested upon them. "I just... I can't let him win. Not after what he's taken from me."
"And he won't," you assured him, your fingers gently carding through his hair. "But you need to trust that you'll be ready when the time comes. For now, focus on your own well-being. Let me take care of you."
A flicker of vulnerability flickered across Taesoo's face, but he didn't shy away from your tender touch. Instead, he leaned into your embrace, "I don't know what I did to deserve you," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
You pressed a featherlight kiss to his temple, your arms wrapping around him in a comforting embrace. "You deserve the world, Taesoo. And I'll be right here, every step of the way, reminding you of that."
𝖩𝖠𝖤𝖦𝖸𝖤𝖮𝖭 𝖭𝖠 - ᴍᴀᴛᴇʀɪᴀʟɪꜱᴛɪᴄ
The roar of a powerful engine echoed through the bustling streets as Jaegyeon Na pulled up in yet another sleek, high-end sports car. His face was alight with childlike glee as he stepped out of the driver's seat, running his hands along the pristine exterior with joy.
"Isn't she a beauty?" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with uncontrolled enthusiasm.
A soft sigh escaped your lips as you approached him, a small frown tugging at the corners of your mouth. "Jaegyeon, didn't you just buy a new car last month?"
Jaegyeon's grin faltered slightly at your scolding tone, but he quickly recovered, waving a dismissive hand. "Ah, that old thing? It was starting to feel a bit dated, you know how it is."
You arched an eyebrow, crossing your arms over your chest. "No, Jaegyeon, I don't know how it is. You can't keep going through cars like this. It's a colossal waste of money."
Jaegyeon's pout deepened, his lower lip jutting out in an exaggerated display of grumpiness. "But, I take good care of my cars! It's not my fault that they get... a little scratched up now and then."
You fixed him with a pointed look, recalling the numerous instances of Jaegyeon's "minor scratches" turning into full-blown dents and shattered windshields. "Jaegyeon, you need to stop damaging your cars. This habit of yours is getting out of hand."
Jaegyeon's shoulders slumped, and he kicked at an imaginary pebble on the ground, his expression almost comically dejected. "It's not like I mean to wreck them," he mumbled, his voice tinged with disappointment.
Your heart softened at the genuine sadness in his tone, and you stepped closer, gently cupping his cheek in your hand. "I know, Jaegyeon. But you have to drive carefully, especially ones as expensive as these cars."
Jaegyeon leaned into your touch, his eyes searching yours for understanding. "I do, I just get so caught up in the thrill of driving, you know? And besides half the time, someone else breaks it."
You couldn't help but smile, even as you shook your head in exasperated fondness. "I know, but that's no excuse for recklessness. Promise me you'll take better care of this one?"
A slow grin spread across Jaegyeon's face, and he nodded eagerly. "I promise. No more scratches, dents, or shattered windshields. Scout's honor!"
You chuckled, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Somehow, I doubt you were ever a scout, but I'll take your word for it."
Jaegyeon beamed, wrapping his arms around you in a tight embrace. "You know, you're the best."
You rolled your eyes playfully but returned his embrace with equal warmth anyways.
𝖦𝖮𝖭𝖦𝖲𝖤𝖮𝖡 𝖩𝖨 - ɪᴍᴘᴜʟꜱɪᴠᴇ
Gongseob Ji let out a triumphant whoop as his opponent crumpled to the ground, knocked out cold. He puffed out his chest, reveling in his victory, when a sudden urge struck him – an impulsive desire to assert his dominance even further.
Hands immediately unzipping his zipper, just as he was about to act on that ill-advised impulse, a familiar voice cut through the haze of adrenaline.
"Gongseob Ji, don't you dare!" you exclaimed, rushing towards him with a look of sheer disgust engraved on your face.
Gongseob froze, his eyes widening as you grabbed him by the ear, tugging him away from the unconscious figure on the ground.
"Ow, ow, ow! [Your Name], what gives?" he protested, wincing at the firm grip you had on his ear.
You fixed him with a stern look, your free hand reaching to his zipper, pulling it up. "You know exactly what gives, Gongseob. Don't even try to play innocent with me."
Gongseob pouted, his bravado deflating under your disapproving gaze. "But I won fair and square! I was just going to celebrate a little."
You arched an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by his justification. "By peeing on your opponent? Yeah, that's not happening."
Gongseob's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and he averted his gaze, mumbling under his breath. "Well, when you put it like that..."
Your expression softened, and you released his ear, opting instead to gently cup his face in your hands. "Gongseob, you're an amazing fighter, but you can't just do that. It's disrespectful and frankly, a bit gross."
Gongseob's shoulders slumped, and he leaned into your touch, his eyes full of remorse. "You're right, I got carried away again, didn't I?"
You smiled softly, brushing his braid to the back. "It's okay, Just remember, true strength isn't about showing off or humiliating others. It's about having the discipline and self-control to use your abilities responsibly."
Gongseob nodded, his lips quirking into a lopsided grin. "You always know just what to say, don't you?"
You chuckled, linking your arm through his as you guided him away from the scene. "Someone has to keep that impulsive streak of yours in check, Mr. Hotshot Fighter."

Hi my fav writer can you made lookism men meet the far S/O parents the first time?
hi! sure! <3
Lookism men meeting their s/o parents for the first time
He makes a really great impression even from the start, once they see him standing on the doorway they look at him with good eyes, the meeting goes really well, he's so respectful, your parents take a soft spot for him.
Daniel, Jay, Jichang, James
At first, your parents were doubtful to let their guards down, yet once he got the chance to show his charms, your parents completely warmed to him, during the stay he would set up the table, wash the dishes (he would gossip with your mom)
Jake, Jaegyeon, Jibeom, Goo, Sinu, Zack, Jace
Your parents were not exactly pleased to see that type of man coming along with their child, he was so serious it kinda looked like he was rude, yet, as the meeting progressed, your parents understood he was reserved rather than rude. Some little gestures coming from him like serving a drink to your father, holding the chair for you to sit, stopping your mother to bend from catching something from the floor and doing it he instead... Those gestures made them accept him - your father especially, the two of them would enjoy each other companies with respect, and silence.
Taesoo, Warren, Jihan, Jerry, Hudson, Gun, Johan, Samuel
At first, they were taken aback, yet it didn't last long for him to show his most pure side, it made your parents melt. They enjoyed his company, especially your father, he was happy about the fact that you brought a gentle soul yet capable to protect you from any danger.
Vasco, Jibeom, Daniel, Zack, Lineman, Eli
He showed so much respect from the start that your parents didn't even have the chance to judge him, yet, on that same night you will receive a text from them telling you to be careful about that guy you're dating.
Eugene, Goo, Samuel, James
You could see from your parents expressions that they didn't like him at all. But don't worry, after a few more meetings they will show more empathy towards him and even accept him. (bonus if you have siblings, they adore him sm that helped you convince your parents).
Vin Jin, Koji, Sinu, Ryuhei, Jake, Eli
They ground you for even thinking about dating that guy
Gitae, Gun, Geongseob, Ryuhei, Olly

author's note ; if u ever wondered how randomly ideas got into my head — there u go
summary ; it was a regular, quiet afternoon. you were sitting on the couch, phone in hand, scrolling through tiktok. but then, one video caught your attention — a video of a beluga whale playing with people, making playful squeaky noises, playfully letting out trickles of water if trainers didn’t give them more ice than to their friends. it was so cute that tears started streaming down your face. you couldn’t help it, the overwhelming adorableness and how intelligent this creature are, hit you hard.
KIM JUNGOO
later, Jungoo sauntered in, his usual cocky grin on his face. “what’s going on here, cupcake?” he asked, raising an eyebrow when he saw you sitting on the couch, eyes a little red and swollen from crying. you held up your phone one last time. “b-beluga whales… they’re cute.”
Jungoo’s grin widened, amused but not mocking. “you’re crying over whales?” he teased, plopping down next to you. but then he caught sight of the video and paused. “but wait! they are kinda cute,” he admitted, leaning closer to watch. “but why the tears, sweetie? you know you’ve got me, right? i’m way cuter than some random whale.”
you rolled your eyes, though a small smile tugged at your lips. “it’s just… they’re so adorable and so incredibly intelligent, i just can’t hold it.” you mumbled, sniffing with your cute nose again.
Jungoo’s teasing grin softened as he slipped an arm around your waist, pulling you against his chest. “hey, hey, it’s okay,” he murmured, the playful edge in his voice giving way to genuine care. he pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his tone gentling. “you don’t have to cry over something so small. i’m here.”
he tightened his hold, giving you a comforting squeeze. “and if it’s tears you need, you can cry on me anytime. no whales necessary,” he added with a wink.
then, as if reading your mood, he shot a glance around and smirked. “is it… that time of the month?” he chuckled softly, but quickly added, “just kidding, cupcake. whatever it is, i got you.”
you couldn’t help but laugh through the remaining sniffles, feeling the weight of your emotions lighten with his warmth around you.
MA TAESOO
a moment later, while you were still curled up on the couch, sniffling over more beluga whale videos, Taesoo stopped by, a bottle of water in hand. he was in his usual relaxed state, looking as though nothing ever phased him. but when he saw your tear-streaked face, his laid-back expression faltered.
“why are you crying?” Taesoo asked in his deep, calm voice, handing you the water and sitting down across from you. his sharp eyes scanned your face, concern hidden beneath his calm demeanor.
“it’s just… beluga whales,” you mumbled, holding your phone up to show him.
he raised an eyebrow, clearly not understanding the emotional devastation of adorable aquatic creatures. “…you’re crying..over whales?”
“they’re so cute!” you said, trying to explain. “look at their little foreheads!!! so puffy and soft!”
Taesoo stared at the video for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh. “i mean, i guess they are kind of cute… in a weird way.”
he looked at you, his gaze soft, and then, in an uncharacteristically tender move, he wrapped one arm around you, pulling you closer, under his wing. it was a little awkward — Taesoo wasn’t used to these moments — but he held you close, offering warm comfort. “it’s okay to cry sometimes. even over cute whales.”
you smiled, feeling a warmth spread through you at how gentle he was being. he patted your arm, his touch firm but soothing. “you’ll feel better soon,” he murmured, pressing tender kiss on your forehead.
and though he didn’t say it, you could tell he was silently asking himself if it might be that time of the month. but he was smart enough not to say it out loud.
NA JAEGYEON
a little while later, you were still nestled on the sofa, when Jaegyeon appeared. he looked down at you, quickly noticing your tear-streaked face. “what’s going on?” he asked, his voice quiet, but you could tell he was genuinely concerned.
“beluga whales,” you sobbed and explain gently, still holding a phone in your hands.
Jaegyeon blinked, confused. “whales?”
“they’re really cute,” you muttered, looking up to Jaegyeon with tearly puppy eyes. he tilted his head, clearly trying to make sense of the situation. after a few seconds, he let out a soft sigh and walked over, crouching down in front of you. “you cried because they’re cute?”
“yeah,” you sniffled, giving him a weak smile. he hesitated for a moment and crouched down beside you, trying to get a better look at the video. “let me see that.”
as the beluga whale squeaked on screen, Jaegyeon let out a small chuckle. “okay, yeah. that is kinda cute. but cute enough to cry?” he raised an eyebrow, his voice teasing but not unkind.
you blushed, feeling embarrassed. “i know it sounds dumb…”
“no, no, it’s not dumb!” he said quickly, suddenly throwing his hands up in surrender, his face breaking into a goofy grin. “i mean, if a whale is cute enough to make you cry, i’d say they are doing a great job.”
before you could respond, Jaegyeon plopped down next to you and poked your cheek gently, his smile widening. “but seriously, if you’re gonna cry, at least save your tears for something like… i don’t know, baby penguins or puppies. they’re cuter than whales, right?”
you couldn’t help but giggle at his goofy tone. “they all are cute”
Jaegyeon leaned back, pretending to think deeply. “actually, now that i’m thinking about it… maybe i should cry over whales too. if they’re that cute, i don’t wanna miss out on this crying trend.”
you let out a soft laugh as Jageyon exaggeratedly wiped at his dry eyes. “look at me, i’m tearing up just thinking about them! poor belugas, being so cute and all…”
feeling more at ease, you nudged him playfully. “you’re such a dork.”
he grinned, happy to see you smiling again. then, without warning, he scooted closer and wrapped you up in a soft, but slightly awkward hug. “alright, come here. if you wanna cry over cute stuff, i’ll make sure you’re not crying alone. we’ll be a couple of whale criers together.”
you blinked, surprised at the sudden hug, but soon melted into it. he patted your back clumsily, like he was still getting used to offering physical comfort, but it was clear he meant well. “but you know,” he mumbled into your hair, “next time, just call me instead of the whales. i’m at least a little cuter, right?”
you laughed again, feeling the warmth of his arms around you and the silliness of his words lightening your heart. Jaegyeon pulled back just enough to look at you, his expression softening as he spoke quietly, “seriously though, it’s okay to cry. even if it’s over something silly. i got you.”

Haiii can i request a"when he is in a relationship with u" for taesoo? I feel like he would be husband material 😞🙏
Tysmm! Love your writing!💋
──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
character taesoo ma
summary him in a relationship w/ you <33
start 2 sep
end 7 sep
a/n sorry I’ve been so unmotivated recently 😭 tysm 4 requesting!! he deffo is husband material
──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────────
◈ He’s not the type of person to say “I love you”, he would prefer to show it. When you’re drunk, he’d carry you to bed and cook hangover soup with herbs. Then when you wake up, he’d insist to feed you and let you rest for as long as possible. When you’re sick, he’ll research and cook you all types of dishes that are known for treatment, adamant to stay by your side until you’re better.
◈ Taesoo isn’t the type to call you pet names, finding it difficult to let a small ‘sweetheart’ come out of his mouth. Only when you tease him with tiny pecks around his neck and face, purposefully avoiding his eager lips, will he then groan out an impatient “baby”, his voice filled with frustration and longing. You could tell what you were doing to him, and you loved it. As soon as the word leaves his mouth, he instantly flusters and before you could even react, he pulls you into a tender kiss.
◈ Taesoo isn’t talkative — often not going into intricate details or going out of his way to say things that are too cheesy or romantic. Instead, he’d never let you have to lift a finger, whether it’s washing dishes, doing laundry, and so on. After he’s done, he even gives you a massage to help you unwind.
◈ He doesn’t have experience with lovers. While he’s had previous relationships but he’s never knew how to love somebody properly, always struggling to fully connect with his partners . His words often came out flat or plain wrong, his methods of affection coming out differently. Misunderstandings were a constant shadow over his relationships, fuelled by his difficulty to express what he really means.
◈ Truly listens to you. After a long, exhausting day, you poured out all your emotions while Taesoo calmly roasts a wild boar he had hunted that afternoon. The injustice hung on you for the whole day, leaving you moody and irritable. Tasso remained quiet and focused on the fire, and you couldn’t help but wonder if he was even listening — or just avoiding saying something that’d rile you up further. However the next day, something unexpected happened; they even apologised, though a hint of fear lingered in their gaze that seemed to avoid yours.
◈ Loves when you sit on his lap. When he relaxes, his eyes linger too long on your hips, imagining how your body close to his will relieve the cold air hovering around his bouncing legs. Giving into his impulsion, Taesoo pulls you onto his legs, having no intention of letting you go nor letting you move. Taesoo’s breath is warm against your neck, and you can feel his whispered words into your skin. “Please, don’t move.” He murmurs, voice trembling slightly.
◈ Taesoo cherishes these intimate moments at his weakest when his guard is down, arms are wrapped around your figure, voice soft and raspy, expressing his deepest thoughts that he’s never imagined he’d ever tell. Trust doesn’t come easily; countless nights full of reassurance and warmth was the key to slowly shedding his protective layer.
◈ Lets you go hunting with him, teaching you how to use an arrow to hunt deers, and how to butcher animals. Though you’ll be subjected to overly strict rules, fuelled by his own need to protect you. Taesoo’s big hands glide over yours as he guides you on how to pull back the arrow, whispering “Keep your breath steady, and relax.”
ׂ╰┈➤ Your gaze was full of determination while his maintained a sense of worry, as if he saw the wandering deer as a dangerous creature rather than a mere animal grazing in the forest.
“Breathe with the bow.” The more he spoke, the harder it was to focus. Each word vibrates through the still air like the well-tuned hum of an instrument, a sweet blend of warmth and authority that made you weak to your knees.
When the deer finally stepped into the open, he gave a small nod and you let the arrow fly, hitting its target spot on. Though you felt slightly sympathetic watching it fall to its demise in a single moment. But if you thought that was difficult, the real work began when he taught you how to butcher the animal. You can feel his sharp gaze fixated on the way you hold the knife, instantly correcting you when it strayed too close. “Careful,” He tried his best to maintain his calm facade, yet his face revealed what he was really feeling. He ended up resting his knife on the board and insisted on watching you cut each slice of meat, his hands guiding yours once again and his gaze focused.
◈ Unbelievably weak to when you trace your fingers over his scars, leaning into your neck and eagerly pressing kisses against your neck, his hands finding their home along the curves on your body. Taesoo becomes shy to even show his face, because he knows he’s revealing his vulnerability.
◈ He would enjoy spending time with you in a quiet, meaningful way — watching as you learn how to cook from him, baking together, holding hands on a peaceful walk. Simply having you in his presence is enough to bring a small smile on his face.
◈ Truly loves every gift you give him, keeping it close in his favourite jacket and wearing the locket on his neck that you made for him. Holding it in his hands, he can’t help but smile, knowing it was crafted by your hands.
◈ Always puts you and your needs first, doing anything to make sure you’re comfortable. While doing so, Taesoo frequently overlooks his own well-being, sacrificing his own time and energy for you. Whether it’s staying up late with you or cancelling things to support you, his self-sacrificing nature knows no bounds. This unhealthy commitment leaves him psychically and emotionally drained, yet his devotion for your comfort keeps him going. So when you take the initiative to help him take over a new leaf, Taesoo doesn’t know what to do.
ׂ╰┈➤ At first, he objects. Being in the receiving end after giving for so long feels so foreign.
“You don’t have to do this for me, I’m fine.” He murmurs, but you can see the exhaustion in his eyes. Yet you persist, and he gradually comes to accept it, letting you do whatever you want. After a while, you notice the tension in his muscles relaxing as he finally realises taking proper care of himself doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you.
◈ Taesoo confessed to you first. Sick and tired of all the contradicting thoughts, he decided it was better to release all the weight on his shoulder than bottle it up. In fact, he foolishly believed that it would be easier to forget his feelings if you didn’t reciprocate them.
ׂ╰┈➤ That afternoon, he invited you to your favourite café and you happily accepted since it was his treat. As you chatted about recent events, you couldn’t help but notice his troubled expression and the way his gaze drifted away. When you asked if something was wrong, he simply nodded, taking a slow sip of his espresso. Just as you began to think you were reading too much into it, he suddenly looked at you with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat.
“I love you.” He blurted out, voice barely above a whisper. The weight of his words hung in the air, leaving you momentarily speechless. Taesoo has always been out of touch with how he feels, but this time, he’s finally sure of himself.
Your heart raced, tumbling and failing to make coherent sentences. All you wanted was to pull him into a deep embrace, to close the gap between you two. You could see the regret written all over his face, as if he wished he could undo it all. He bit his lip, holding back the apology he was too ashamed to even mutter.
“Taesoo.” You began, hesitant to put it into words.
“I love you too.”

pt.1 of 'the kings + their problems
𝖩𝖨𝖢𝖧𝖠𝖭𝖦 𝖪𝖶𝖠𝖪 - Jichang may initially resist comfort, feeling that as a leader he shouldn't show weakness. He's used to being strong and in control. But as you simply hold him and let him cry, he slowly allows himself to be vulnerable. Through his tears, he expresses feeling overwhelmed by the weight of responsibility and the need to always put on a brave face. Allowing himself to be comforted helps him release pent-up emotions and makes him feel less alone.
You sat across from Jichang as he sat there in silence, his head in his hands. Jihan and Jibeom had decided to pull a stupid prank on him by not responding to him for over six days, and he had been scared thinking something had happened to them.
"Jichang," you said softly, "they were just playing around, I don’t know wh–"
You stopped, noticing his shoulders start to shake. A quiet sob escaped him, muffled by his hands. Your heart ached seeing him like this, he was usually so calm and composed.
You moved to sit beside him, gently placing a hand on his back. "Hey," you murmured, "it's okay. They're safe. Everything's alright."
Jichang shook his head, still not looking up. "I thought... I thought something had happened to them. I was so scared." His voice was thick with tears, barely above a whisper.
You wrapped your arm around his arm, pulling him closer to you. "I know. It's a terrible feeling. But they're okay, I promise."
He leaned into you, finally lifting his head. His face was streaked with tears, his eyes red and puffy. "I feel so stupid," he choked out. "Getting this upset over a prank."
You shook your head, reaching out to wipe away his tears. "It's not stupid. You care about them, and you were worried. That's normal."
Jichang's lower lip trembled as fresh tears spilled over as you pulled him fully into your arms, letting him bury his face in your shoulder, rubbing his back soothingly. "It's okay…"
He clung to you, his body shaking with sobs. You held him tightly, providing a safe space for him to let go of the fear and stress and responsibility he always carried.
"I was so scared," he repeated, his voice muffled against your shirt. "I thought I'd failed them. Failed as a leader, as a brother."
"You could never fail them," you assured him. "You care so much, Jichang. It's okay to be scared sometimes. It means you love them."
He held onto you like a lifeline as he cried, letting out all the pent-up emotions. You stayed there, a steady presence, whispering reassurances and just letting him feel.
In that moment of vulnerability, he found comfort and strength in your presence. He wasn't alone. With you, he could be human. With you, he was safe.
𝖲𝖤𝖮𝖭𝖦𝖩𝖨 𝖸𝖴𝖪 - Seongji might feel ashamed and angry at himself for crying, seeing it as a sign of weakness unbefitting his tough persona. He tries to pull away at first, embarrassed to be seen in a vulnerable state. But as you continue to offer gentle comfort, he begrudgingly accepts it. He admits in a rare moment of openness that he's terrified of being seen as weak or incapable, having built walls to protect himself. Being held makes him feel safe enough to let his guard down for once.
You were in Seongji's room, quietly cleaning up the scattered medication that he had spilled. He was hidden away, but you could feel his presence, the tense silence heavy in the air. As you picked up each pill one by one, you heard a soft, choked sound. You looked over to see Seongji fighting back tears as he watched you.
You stood slowly, the pills forgotten. "Seongji," you said softly, approaching him cautiously.
He turned away, trying to hide his face as the tears began to cascade down his cheeks. "Don't," he choked out. "Don't look at me."
But you couldn't just leave him like this. You knelt down beside him with a frown, "What's going on?"
He shook his head, a sob catching in his throat. "I can't... I can't do this anymore. I'm so tired."
Your heart ached for him. You had known he was struggling, but you hadn't realized just how much.
"I'm so tired," he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper. "And so scared..."
You slipped next to him, being mindful not to invade his space. "Why are you scared, Seongji?" you asked gently.
He took a shuddering breath, his gaze fixed on the floor. "The kids, Cheonliang, you... he's going to take everything from me."
"Seongji," you said softly, your heart breaking for him. You couldn't help but reach out, placing a hand on his arm. He flinched but didn't pull away. "Seongji, listen to me. He is wrong. You are enough, more than enough. And he can't take away the things that truly matter."
Seongji finally looked at you, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. "But what if he does? What if I lose everything?"
You moved closer, slowly, giving him time to move away if he wanted. When he didn't, you wrapped an arm around his shoulders. "You won't lose me," you told him firmly. "No matter what happens, I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."
A sob caught in his throat. "I'm so scared of being alone," he confessed, his voice breaking.
You pulled him into your arms, and this time, he didn't resist. He melted into your embrace, his body shaking as he finally let himself cry. "You're not alone, Seongji," you murmured, rubbing his back soothingly. "You have me. You have Cheonliang. You have the kids. We're your family."
He cried harder at that, clinging to you like a lifeline. "I don't know how to do this," he gasped out between sobs. "I don't know how to let people in."
You held him tighter, resting your cheek on the top of his head. "You're doing it right now," you told him softly. "You're letting me in. And I'm so proud of you for that."
He sniffled, burrowing further into your embrace. "What if I mess it up? What if I push you away?"
"Then I'll come back," you said simply. "I'll always come back, Seongji. Because I care about you. Because you're worth it."
He pulled back slightly, searching your face as if looking for any sign of deception. When he found none, fresh tears spilled over. "Thank you," he whispered. "For being here. For... for loving me."
You smiled softly, wiping away his tears with gentle fingers. "Always," you promised. "You're stuck with me, Seongji Yuk. In good times and bad. I'm not going anywhere."
𝖳𝖠𝖤𝖲𝖮𝖮 𝖬𝖠 - Taesoo would likely feel uncomfortable crying in front of someone, not wanting to burden others with his problems. He apologizes repeatedly even as he can't stop the flow of tears. As you hold him and assure him it's okay, he hesitantly relaxes into the comfort. He confesses to feeling guilty for being selfish by accepting care and worrying he's being an inconvenience. Reassurance from you helps him start to believe that he deserves care too.
You walked into the bedroom, concerned that Taesoo had been gone for too long. There he sat on the edge of the bed, head in his hands, lost in misery and unaware of your entrance.
"Taesoo?" you called softly.
His head snapped up, eyes wide and brimming with unshed tears. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said quickly, wiping his face. "I didn't hear you come in."
You frowned and stepped closer. "What's wrong?"
He shook his head, forcing a smile that didn't reach his eyes. "Nothing. I'm fine."
But a tear escaped, rolling down his cheek. He furiously wiped it away, averting his gaze. "I'm sorry," he said again, voice thick. "I didn't mean to... I don't want to bother you with this."
Saddened by how much he held back, you sat beside him, gently rubbing his back. "You're not bothering me, Taesoo. I care about you. I want to be here for you."
His lower lip trembled as more tears spilled over. "I'm sorry," he whispered repeatedly, a broken record.
You pulled him into an embrace, and he went willingly, still apologizing. "It's okay," you murmured, rubbing his back soothingly.
He shook his head against your shoulder, tears soaking your shirt. "I shouldn't... I shouldn't burden you like this. I'm being selfish."
You held him tighter. "Well, I guess I'm selfish too."
"It's different," Taesoo retorted.
"How is it different?"
Quiet for a moment, his sobs gradually quieted to sniffles. "I feel guilty," he confessed softly. "Guilty for taking up your time, for being an inconvenience."
You pulled back slightly, cupping his face. He averted his gaze, ashamed, but you waited until he met your eyes. "You are never an inconvenience," you told him firmly. "Caring for you, being here for you... it's not a burden. It's a privilege."
Fresh tears of relief, of gratitude, welled in his eyes. "Do you really mean that?" he asked, voice small.
You smiled softly, wiping his tears with your thumbs. "Of course. Taesoo, you deserve care. You deserve love. You deserve to be held when you're hurting."
A shuddering breath escaped him as he leaned in, resting his forehead against yours. "Thank you," he whispered. "Thank you for being here. For... for caring."
You wrapped your arms around him again. "Always," you promised. "I'll always be here, Taesoo. Whenever you need me."
He relaxed into your embrace, finally allowing himself to be comforted, to be cared for - a foreign but welcome feeling. For the first time in a long while, he felt safe. Loved.
"I'm sorry for being such a mess," he mumbled into your shoulder.
You chuckled softly, kissing his temple. "You're not a mess. And I love every part of you, even the messy parts."
He pulled back, searching your face. Whatever he found made fresh tears spring to his eyes, but this time he smiled. "I love you too," he said softly. "More than I know how to say."
Smiling, you leaned in to kiss him gently. "Then don't say it - show me instead."
Taesoo's eyes shone with tenderness as he cupped your face, kissing you deeply. You melted into his embrace, relishing his warmth, his closeness after such vulnerability. Slowly, almost reverently, he laid you back on the bed without breaking the kiss.
—The Rest Is To Your Imagination—
𝖩𝖠𝖤𝖦𝖸𝖤𝖮𝖭 𝖭𝖠 - Jaegyeon may seem unsure how to react to being comforted at first, torn between wanting to maintain his image and craving care. He's not used to being on the receiving end of comfort. But as you simply hold him without judgment, he allows himself to cry freely, expressing a need to always be perfect that leaves him fearful of failing. Being held makes him feel accepted as he is, flaws and all.
The news of Seongji's death hit everyone hard, but surprisingly Jaegyeon seemed the most affected. From what you knew, your boyfriend wasn't one to make friends - acquaintances sure, but actual friends?
That wasn't like Jaegyeon at all. You never realized how much he truly respected Seongji until now. You knew he had a better relationship with Seongji compared to the other kings, but you would've expected the others to be in the position you now saw your boyfriend in.
You approached him quietly and slowly, trying to gauge if he was okay with you being near. He looked up, eyes red and puffy. "I should have been there," he whispered, voice hoarse. "I should have stayed with him after he lost his fingers."
You sat down beside him with a small sigh. "Jaegyeon, you can't blame yourself. Seongji was a grown man, capable of making his own decisions."
Jaegyeon shook his head, a tear slipping down his cheek. "But he wasn't at full power anymore. I knew that, and I still left him. If I had stayed..."
You took his hand, squeezing it gently. "You all knew that, but each one of you had your own responsibilities. Cheonliang was his, and Incheon yours." You paused, letting him take it in before continuing. "Besides, if you had stayed, Seongji might have felt offended, like you didn't believe in his ability to handle things on his own."
Jaegyeon was quiet for a moment, considering your words. "Maybe," he conceded. "But I can't help but feel like I failed him. Like I should have done more."
You wrapped an arm around his shoulders, pulling him close. "It's natural to have regrets, to question the 'what ifs'. But we can't change the past, Jaegyeon. All we can do is honor Seongji's memory and carry on his legacy."
Jaegyeon leaned into your embrace, his shoulders shaking as he finally allowed himself to cry. You held him tightly, providing a safe space for his grief.
"I miss him," Jaegyeon murmured. "Surprisingly. Never would I have thought I would ever say that."
You rubbed his back soothingly as a chuckle escaped you. "That hurts my feelings. I've never heard you say you miss me," you pouted.
"You're always with me," Jaegyeon said as he pushed you fully onto the couch, burying his face in your neck.
"Not by choice," you whispered in amusement before wincing slightly. "Ouch! Did you just bite me?"
Jaegyeon nodded against your shoulder, his tears gradually subsiding. "Yes," he said shamelessly, pulling back to wipe his face. "I heard that."
Your eye twitched before you tried to kick him, but Jaegyeon just managed a small smile as he caught your leg.
You glared at Jaegyeon, but there was no real heat behind it as he simply smirked and kept a firm grip on your leg. Realizing you were stuck, you huffed and crossed your arms over your chest.
"You're impossible," you grumbled, feigning annoyance.
Jaegyeon's smirk melted into a softer smile as he released your leg and shifted closer, wrapping his arms around you. He nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, breathing in your comforting scent.
"Maybe," he murmured against your skin, "but you love me anyway."
You rolled your eyes, but couldn't fight the fond smile that tugged at your lips as you brought a hand up to card through his hair. Jaegyeon let out a contented sigh, pressing closer.
The two of you stayed like that for a while, finding solace in each other's embrace. The grief was still there, an ache in Jaegyeon's chest, but with you by his side, it felt...bearable. Manageable.
𝖦𝖮𝖭𝖦𝖲𝖤𝖮𝖡 𝖩𝖨 - Gongseob might worry he's being weak and childish for crying, even as he can't help but lean into the comfort of being held. He admits through tears that he feels he always has to be this ‘person’ and can't show sadness or pain. Being able to cry without being mocked or scolded comes as a relief. The simple comfort with no strings attached allows him a safe space to release hurt and be genuine.
You made your way through your newly bought temple, inspecting every nook and cranny while making notes here and there. Gongseob trailed behind you, his steps labored as he maneuvered on his crutches.
"Man, it's going to take a lot of work to get this place in shape," you commented, glancing around at the dusty shelves and cracked tiles.
Gongseob grunted in response, the effort of walking clearly straining him. An uncomfortable silence hung between you two.
It had been weeks since the incident with James Lee, where Gongseob lost his leg after having a building dropped on him. He had insisted he was fine, putting up a brave front as always. "I'm tougher than I look, you know," he'd joked with a forced grin.
But you knew him too well to fully believe that facade. The pain and trauma of such an event didn't just disappear with a few jokes.
You didn't want to press him, though. Gongseob would open up when he was ready. For now, you focused on getting the temple in order.
"Gongseob, why don't you rest for a bit?" you suggested, gesturing to a raised platform. "I can handle the rest of the inspection."
He shook his head stubbornly. "I'm fine. Don't need to sit around like some cripple."
A small frown tugged at your lips. "Can you not–" you sighed taking a moment. "It's about pacing yourself while you heal. Please, just take a break."
Gongseob opened his mouth, likely to protest further, but you fixed him with a pointed look. He deflated with a sigh.
"Fine. But I'm not just going to laze around," he muttered, already making his labored way towards the platform.
You nodded reluctantly. "Alright. I'll be back to check on you soon."
With that, you continued your inspection, mentally cataloging areas that needed repair or renovation. The minutes ticked by, and you found yourself going back glancing over at Gongseob's still form every so often.
Finally, you completed your rounds and turned to head back to him. "There's a couple of broken shelves that need to be replaced. We can look into that next..." Your voice trailed off as you took in the scene before you.
Gongseob was in the exact same position you had left him, perched on the edge of the platform. But now, his shoulders were shaking, and tears streamed silently down his face.
You were by his side in an instant. "Gongseob? What's wrong?"
He flinched at the sound of your voice, quickly swiping at his eyes. "N-Nothing. I'm fine."
But the waver in his voice told a different story. You settled down beside him, close but not crowding his space.
"Gongseob," you urged gently. "Please, don't shut me out again."
Gongseob was quiet for a long moment, his gaze fixed on the crutches leaning against the platform. When he finally spoke, his words were thick with unshed tears.
"I'm useless now," he whispered, anguish clear in his tone.
Your heart clenched before you pulled him against your side. "You are not useless, Gongseob," you said firmly. "Losing your leg doesn't change who you are or how much you mean to me."
He shook his head, a choked sound escaping him. "But I'm broken now. Weak. I can't even walk without these stupid things." He gestured angrily at the crutches.
"You're not weak," you countered. "You survived having a building dropped on you. That takes incredible strength, strength that I can only dream of having."
“And you won’t need those forever.”
Gongseob was quiet for a moment, processing your words. Then, slowly, he leaned further into your embrace, fresh tears spilling over.
"I don’t want to be a burden, I don’t want to hold you back," he admitted in a small voice.
You tightened your arm around him, pressing a kiss to his temple. "You could never be a burden, my love. And you'll never hold me back, because we're a team, remember? We do this together, one step at a time."
A watery chuckle escaped him at your pun, and you smiled softly, relieved to see a hint of his usual humor shining through.
He searched your face for a long moment before crumbling against you as you held him close.
When his tears finally subsided, he pulled back, looking almost sheepish. "Sorry for the bitchin’," he said, managing a weak smile.
You shook your head, brushing away the lingering moisture on his cheeks. "Never apologize for being honest with your emotions, Gongseob. That's what I'm here for - to be your safe space."
He leaned into your touch with a contented sigh. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Lucky for you, you'll never have to find out," you said with a grin.
Gongseob laughed, the sound warm and genuine. He leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. "Thank you," he murmured against your mouth.
You kissed him again, deeper this time. "You’re welcome," you say when you finally broke apart.
One step at a time, one day at a time.
