Yoongi bites his tongue and glares harder at the idiot who turns to keep fiddling with the lock because goddamn it, he’s right. So maybe Yoongi didn’t want to kill an innocent man just because he was fishing in the wrong waters. He had seen the thin, sickly little girl hiding behind her father and he couldn’t kill a man desperate enough to die so his daughter could eat. For that he had been branded a mutineer and sent to the brig and now here he is, watching this idiot red haired pirate try to break out of their-

“Ha! I got it!”

There’s a dull thud and Yoongi stares at the fallen lock with wide eyes before turning them to see the pirate, currently grinning as he grabs a red- feathered hat from a hook near the exit and sets it on his head at an angle that Yoongi hates to admit looks good.

“So,” the pirate holds his hand towards where Yoongi stand at the entrance of the cell, hesitating to cross because he knows the minute he escapes he’ll be branded pirate. “are you ready go take your freedom?”

Yoongi glances down at his blood stained navy blue jacket and it’s right then that he makes up his mind. The jacket hits the dusty floor of the brig with a scuff and Yoongi takes the pirates hand, stepping out of the cell.

“Min Yoongi, ex-navy officer and cartographer.”

The pirate squeezes his hand and his lips curve up in an alarmingly charming rectangular grin. “Captain V of the Red Tiger pirates, but you can call me Taehyung.”

Seokjin rolls his eyes. "You two share a soul. I've had the displeasure of listening to you talk about your bowel movements over dinner two weeks ago. Why wouldn't Taehyung tell you if he slept with Yoongi or not?"

Jimin shrugs, biting his lip. "We don't tell each other everything you know. I didn't tell him I liked you until you asked me out on a date. I didn't want him to interfere and ruin my chances. He's probably doing the same thing."

"Sure, but it's my business whether or not Taehyung and Yoongi have finally resolved all of that sexual tension between them or not. Do you know how irritating it is to be in the middle of a board meeting only to look over and see those two making bedroom eyes at each other?"

(In which Hoseok loses a mom and gains two dads and four brothers.)

[E, 130k] What’s a Soul Really Worth, Anyway? by thisneedsmorefilth pairing: jikook some tags: smut, angst, fluff, contracts, witches, demons, magic au, 7ds au summary: Jungkook and his coven summon a demon for Samhain. The issue is getting him to leave. Or - Six witches wrongly assume that just because you CAN summon something like Jimin, that you SHOULD.

Yoongi, his brain repeats the information, his name is Yoongi. “I’m not usually offering to anyone, but I’ve taken a liking to you, Jeon Jungkook,” the head of the clan says again, voice dropped lower as he continues with a twisted grin, “do you, perhaps, want to spend a night with him?” Min Yoongi is a forbidden fruit. And just like Adam, Jungkook is tempted to get a taste. “Yes.”
