"Jisung has a girlfriend," Jaemin fumbles with a stray string from his cardigan, looking at you from the corner of his eyes to gauge your reaction. You pause mid-bite, grip around your fork tightening before you relaxed your expression, slowly nodding. "Her name's Minji."

"Good for him," you mumble through a mouthful of food as your foot starts tapping on the tile. Minji as in Lee Minji? The girl in his dance class? You hope your eyes don't tell Jaemin anything, the last thing you wanted to talk about right now was your ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. You press your lips together, no longer feeling hungry and set your fork down, "Do you want the rest of my food?" When he shakes his head, you sigh and nod, closing the box up so you can eat it later.

Jaemin opens his mouth before closing it as the two of you notice your friends walking over to the lunch table and stands up, "Alright, I'm going to sit with the guys, then ..."

"Bye, Jaemin," you send him a smile as Ningning replaces him and you turn to her, "Hey, how was the test in chem?" You ignore Jaemin's sigh before he walks away to another table, eyes slowly darting away from Ningning's as she rambles about the chemistry test. You follow him with your eyes, mouth twisting to the side as you spot the only girl at the table full of boys. Jisung's sitting beside her, his arm wrapped around her shoulders as he slowly eats his food while she talks beside him, occasionally nodding. You refrain from huffing and scowling, you didn't want your friends noticing.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah?" You tear your eyes away from them, turning to Ningning who looks at you curiously.

"You good?"

"Just fine," you smile, patting her arm before turning and tuning into the conversation between Yeojin and Taehyun.

"She's so pretty," you mumble into your pillow, head face down as your mother rubs your back comfortingly. "And I know she's sweet, we were lab partners last year ..." Unlike after your break up, you haven't cried at all since you found out they got together. You consider that an accomplishment.

Your mother sighs, "At least you know he'll be happy, Y/N."

You don't tell her that you hope he isn't.

After your mother leaves your room, you flip onto your stomach to look at the ceiling where you have bright glow-in-the-dark stars stuck there. A sigh leaves your mouth, blinking as you remember that Jisung was the one who helped you put them up there. He didn't make fun of you for the fact that you wanted them up there.

"I think I accidentally made those ones look like a constellation," you followed with your eyes to where Jisung's pointing and raised your eyebrows.

"What constellation?"

"I have no idea, but they definitely look like one."

You laughed, "Do me a favor, don't major in astronomy when we go to college."

Jisung chuckled, "Hey, I could be an expert in astronomy before we get to college, alright? You don't know that." He turned on his side, but you don't look at him until his hand rested on your cheek. You met his eyes, blinking curiously at him and he smiled slightly— you were close enough that you could see his eyes and smile clearly. "You know, you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen in my entire life."

"Oh, yeah? What about Taeyeon? IU?" You snort, rolling your eyes at his cheesiness. "Ooh, Taecyeon? He's pretty hot."

"They're pretty, and hot," he shrugged as best as he could, still smiling, "But you're still the most beautiful."

Your cheeks burned hot and you just hoped he couldn't see that well in the dark as you turned your head back to the ceiling, "OK, cheesy. Next topic."

Jisung laughed, knowing exactly what was going on and pressed a kiss to your cheek, resting his head on your shoulder. He let the two of you be in silence for a few minutes before he said softly, "Y/N?" You hummed out a response, and he continued, "We're gonna be together forever, you know that?"

You don't respond for a moment, and he briefly wondered if you fell asleep on accident, but you exhale and say, "I hope so."

Bullshit, you roll your eyes. Love was a bunch of bullshit, and you can't believe you even believed for a while that you two would stay together forever. You force yourself into a sitting position and grab your phone, going on Instagram to find Minji's account. She hasn't updated in about a month, but she has enough posts.

She is pretty, as much as you want to deny it. She's kind, as much as you want to deny that, too. You wish she was a horrible person and tricked Jisung into liking her, but you can't blame him for liking her. She volunteers as much as she can, and she helps around her house with chores and babysitting her younger siblings, and works with no pay at her family's restaurant.

Park Jisung deserves someone like her.

You toss your phone on your bed, pressing the palms of your hands against your eyes as you slump against your wall. You want to cry, you want to scream and toss things at your wall and wreck everything in sight. But your mind overtakes your heart, and you know it's not a good idea. You love Jisung with all your heart, and you really do hope he is happy. It's what he deserves. But you thought he was happy with you, and look where that ended.

No one made you as happy as Jisung did, and you're not even sure if you would ever find someone like him again. As selfish as it sounds, you hope it's the same for him.

You blink and lean forward to grab your phone, clicking on Jisung's messages. You never deleted them after your break up, the last few ones being about picking his things up from your house that he had left when you two were dating. You force yourself not to read through them, and start typing.

YOU: hey, i heard about you and minji, she's a great girl. i really hope you two are happy~ :D

You hesitate before you press send, staring down at your phone. Was this a good idea? Would he tell her and then she turns into a jealous monster and comes after you? Your brows furrow before sighing, going to click on the text to delete it but your stupid-fucking-thumb accidentally touched the send button. You gasp, eyes widening at your luck before you clicked out of the message and actually throw your phone across the room.

"God," you groan, closing your eyes as you leaned back and hit your head on the wall. It hurt like a fucking bitch, but you figured you deserved it. Out of everything that had to happen, your thumb just had to accidentally hit send. Someone, whoever is up there, must really hate you. Your heart pounds in your chest, worry setting in. What if he confronted you at school tomorrow, saying you were out of line for talking to him? What if he or her took your message the wrong way?

Sure, you might be selfish and hope he wasn't as happy as he was with you but— you weren't a homewrecker. If you two were meant to be together, like you once thought, you'd end up together, right? Your stomach twists and you huff, clenching your fist to ignore the stomach ache.

Your phone dings from its place on the floor and your eyes shoot open, staring up at the ceiling and the stupid stars. You hastily sit up and grab your phone, breath hitching as you see the notification. Jisung responded back.

JISUNG: hey, y/n, thank you so much. i hope you're happy too.

A second later, another message comes in.

JISUNG: we didn't really talk about it before but we never ended on an actual bad note ... we're still friends, right?

You exhale, closing your eyes as you sit down, legs feeling wobbly. Would your regret this? Probably. Your eyes open as you make up your mind and smile sadly down at your phone, feeling the back of your eyes sting harshly.

YOU: of course, jisung. we were friends first before everything. see you at school tomorrow.

District 9: Chapter 1

AN: You’ll see a lot of “FB” and “EOF” within this series, it simply means  “flashback” and “end of flashback” we figured we should clear that up pretty early, and since Chapter 1 was already pretty long, we decided to split it up haha.  See you in two weeks! ~ Y2K

                                         *(AGE 19)- THE SHIFT:

Graduating from these hellish academies may seem like a joyous occasion for some. But for Stray Kids and the Choi’s? Their hell was just beginning. 

Yura and Rina were placed in quarters with their guardians, Hwasa and Moonbyul as they took on teaching positions during the day, and became the perfect deadly agents they were trained to be at night. As each girl skillfully completed each of their missions, racking up an impressive body count, they became the most prized possessions of 2ne1 Academy, and their reputations garnered respect throughout all of District 9. 

Their duties behind closed doors were always impeccable, which is why they were chosen along with a few other agents to watch over tournament day for the trainees under their care. Seeing as their version of field day was held at 2ne1’s advanced outdoor training arena behind the academy, the girls didn’t have to go far to help make sure things run smoothly. 

Moonbyul was the head professor and trainer in charge of the event ever since she started it with headmaster Taecyeon of the 2pm School all those years ago. And this year would be the girls' first time not participating. 

As bittersweet as it sounds, Choi Yura is a fresh graduate of her academy with the highest position in combat, as well as Moonbyul’s personal trainee. Her attendance would be just as important today as her mother's and she planned to not be late. 

In true Yura fashion, she chose one of her favorite black mini dresses to wear, this one was a high neckline dress with short sleeves, and a simple cutout atop her breast area. It was made completely of her usual spandex-like training material. Making her outfit flexible if she was needed to handle anything that got out of hand. No longer a student, she was finally able to wear her new combat heeled boots that she says “gives me an advantage in height and in battle”. 

She displayed her weapons proudly on her body as she placed her dual blades into a new position, a secured harness crossing them in the middle of her back. The curly bob she once had as a teenager had grown out reaching her shoulders. Since she wasn’t fighting today she decided to just wear her black hair naturally with two braids going back into a simple half up half down hairstyle. Too distracted by everything else in the works. Her final touch was the one silver dangle earring paired with a small hoop she always wore, and the golden emblem of her school pinned to her shirt, indicating that she was no longer a student but an administrator for today's events.  

With much to get done, Yura would find her sister somewhere on the field later. Byul and Yura were needed in the early morning so they left before Hwasa or Rina could wake.

The latter would be put in charge of the students competing today versus the entire event. Rina would be in charge of the sixth-year students this year since their rounds would be the most intense. Her outfit this morning was similar but different from her younger counterpart. Always opting for a pair of shorts, especially during an outdoor event like this, she chose her black combat shorts and paired them with a simple cropped black t-shirt made of similar material as her sister's dress. Her blades and pistol were secured on her sides as she wore her usual combat boots. Her ears are decorated with studded earrings and they’re on display as she opted for a high ponytail for today's events, leaving her black curls falling beautifully behind her. Also securing her golden pin to her shirt, Rina and Hwasa move to gather their students for the day and lead them outside where many competitors have already arrived and are walking about the campus.

Located at the grand entrance of the academy, were the buses full of students from the neighboring schools, as well as their own chaperones. Coming off of the bus in matching uniforms of dark camouflage pants with black short-sleeved muscle training shirts, and matching boots were the members of Stray Kids. Their silver emblem was pinned to their shirts as all four of them moved to get their boys lined up and sent to the arena for the morning ceremony. 

Bangchan was in strict teacher mode for the unit of students he was in charge of, running through the rules and expectations of their own school before allowing them to leave from his view. He was not a student anymore, now that he works for the academy their eyes aren’t on him or his friends. Yet he still felt a need to be on his best behavior today, as well as the others that were brought with him. 

Changbin and Minho were finishing up their own speeches with their units when Jisung finally stepped off the bus. He quietly moves over to where Bangchan is and stands at attention not too far away from him. His eyes can’t help but wander, taking in the very busy and active field behind him.

     “Chris, the opening ceremony is about to start.” He says turning back towards their group.

Chan notices the flood of people heading over to the main arena and leads their boys in that direction. As their students move as one unit ahead of them, their trainers fall in pace with each other in the back.

     “Today’s the day!” Changbin smacks the back of his leader’s back hard. “Are you excited? You haven’t seen Rina since…”

He makes eye contact with a scowling Chris which makes him turn away, instantly dropping the rest of his sentence and dispersing into the crowd. 

A month ago the boys were placed on a night mission to secure an art piece for each of the academies and the Choi twins were sent to team up with them. On the ground were Yura, Rina, Bangchan, and Changbin. Back in the van directing them and guiding them out of enemy territory was Minho and Jisung. Everything went relatively smoothly except for one little hiccup.

     “You two choose to fight right now?” Rina whisper yells to her partner as they move quickly through the field of junk separating them from their van parked in a discreet location.

Yura had successfully grabbed both artifacts from the guarded bunker and handed them off to Changbin who had left for the van moments before them. Bangchan had gone to take the guards down at the entrance when the girls were spotted. The two acted quickly as Rina aimed for their chests, shooting two security guards as Yura managed to pry open a nearby window. They both moved quickly through the night along the side of the older building. An alarm sounded as their face masks were adjusted on their face.

Minho began shouting orders to them through their communications piece, barking to turn around and take another route. Yura chose to ignore him and continue to guide them along the way. 

     “Yura, I am literally standing in front of the monitor right now. And I'm telling you to turn. Around.” His voice is strained through gritted teeth as he speaks, the irritation being quite clear with his words.

     “Yeah and as someone who just left 5 guards shooting at me, I’m gonna have to disrespectfully disagree Minho.” She’s just as snarky with her response.

Rina trails closely behind with her gun out. She’s been listening for the sound of people around them as well as having to hear the back and forth of her sister and their teammate. Her own patience wearing thin with the two’s on-going feud.

Before Yura moves ahead around another corner, Rina stops her. Cutting her next gory threat to Minho short as they both hear footsteps moving in fast from the path in front of them. 

     “Don’t shoot!” Minho says to the two.

      “Minho shut the fuck up for two seconds, there’s no time for us to duck and hide anywhere else.” Yura responds, her and Rina’s guns are in hand and aimed as the footsteps get closer.

     “Yura if you had any ounce of brain cells left you’d fucking listen to me when i’m giving you direct instructions! Turn! Around!” Minho retorts. 

     “Wait, Killer, he's right. Don’t sh–” Jisung’s calm voice cuts through as well. 

But the girls acted first.

The stranger’s body rounds the corner and Rina shoots instantly, her gun pierces him somewhere on his side, causing him to fall to the ground with a thud.

     “You fucking– That was Chan!” Minho yells in both their ears.

     “What?!” they say in unison. 

Rina holsters her gun instantly and moves to Chan’s side.

     “Shit!.” Her hands find the bullet wound.

She turns his body over checking for an exit wound. The man does nothing but moan and groans as she moves his body around like a limp noodle.

     “There’s no exit wound, I can't check it out here though, I’ll try to cover this up and get to you guys. Changbin!?”

Rina’s communicating to their last member knowing damn well he heard everything. 

     “On my way back boss.” His voice is quick as he realizes they’re no longer in a position to joke around.

Rina is fast as she rips off her black sleeve to cover the bullet wound. Her legs are moving to straddle him to get a better angle, noting how her small sleeve is already getting soaked. With a glance to her sister who’s on guard behind her, she lifts her shirt up and off her body and tears it down the middle, wrapping it around Bangchan’s torso and securing it tightly against his wound. Once it’s secured Rina leans over his body and lightly taps his cheeks to get his attention.

Bangchan finally is able to barely lift his eyes open, a bit dazed from the injury. Feeling a warm weight on top of him, he lifts his head, his eyes focusing as he takes in her face. He then notices her lack of a shirt, exposed skin, and sports bra in his direct view. With the lack of blood in his system his head began to spin as his eyes fluttered shut instantly, knocking him out cold.

    “Chan? Chan! Christopher, seriously!” 

Rina groans as she watches his head fall back with his eyes shut. 

    “Chan just passed out.” Rina sighs into her comms.

Yura meanwhile, has taken down two guards that found them, she spots Changbin not far from them and moves to call out to him.

    “Oi! Jigglypuffs! Hurry up, your papa bear just passed out from catching a glimpse of heaven.”

She glances behind her at Chan’s limp body and Rina’s attempts of slapping him awake. 

As Changbin moves to lift up Bangchan’s limp body. Rina turns and glances at Yura, a quick nod of confirmation from the two has Rina directing Changbin out of the alleyway, leaving Yura alone. Seeing as this was the best option for Chan’s health, plus Yura could make it back to the van with the help of their teammate. 

    “Hey Stink, tell your rabid dog to take the backseat for two seconds, I need you to guide me out of here.”

Jisung glances at Minho with slightly red cheeks, the nickname catching them both off guard.

     “I’d rather eat glass than help her again anyway.” Minho hands his headpiece over to his partner, kissing his temple gently before moving to stand outside the van, awaiting his friend's arrival.

    “Okay Killer, take a right here. The layout is kind of like in league when we fought the boss from level 78.” Jisung moves quickly pulling her location up and chatting with her happily until she arrives at their location.

By the time Yura arrives, everyone’s inside the van. She bangs on the door three times, as Minho slides it open. The two stare harsh, deadly daggers at each other. Yura’s black dress is a bit more bloodied than how she last left everyone but she says nothing to him as she climbs inside. Chan is being looked over by Rina in the corner, her head lifts briefly to scan her sister’s injuries before turning back to the unconscious boy below her. Changbin moves to drive the van, and Minho takes the passenger side, unable to be in that small of a confined space with the younger Choi girl. Jisung is busy at his makeshift comms table, cleaning off the artifacts as the van takes off into the night. 

Yura’s body jolts at the sudden takeoff, falling in the lap of Jisung. His arm is fast to wrap around her waist, stabilizing her while still focused on his task.

    “Yura do you not have ears? Do they not fucking work?” Minho’s been stewing on what he’d say to the girl once she arrived and they made it to safety. “If I say don’t shoot, what fucking sense would it make to fire your fucking gun?” He turns in his seat, eyes full of fire as he looks to her. 

The girl was quite tired herself after having to fend off and fight her way back to the van. Having someone who wasn’t even her leader nor her boss lay into her for something that she didn’t even do was making her jaw tick in a way that would make this entire van a whole lot bloodier if he wasn’t careful with his words. Jisung’s hand squeezes her gently, only enough for her to notice. That squeeze gave her a slight calming feeling as her eyes did not back down from the hound not far from her. Even Changbin glances at Minho, not particularly fond of how he was speaking to Yura.

    “For fucks sake, I shot Chan. We heard footsteps coming so I shot. It wasn’t all Yura’s fault so quit pointing the fucking blame on her while I’m trying to save your friend’s life Lee Minho.” 

Rina’s authoritative tone comes out just as harsh as Minho's. Her eyes shoot him sharp daggers, completely over the childish bickering between the two and the insults he kept throwing at her exhausted sister. 

      “We finished the mission, we’re heading home. So everyone just shut the fuck up.” 

Her eyes snapped back to her tasks of dressing Chan’s wounds while everyone did as they were told. Yura ended up passing out in Jisung’s arms, unable to hold back her fatigue much longer. Changbin did his best to distract Minho up front, carrying on conversations that led them all the way to their schools.

Chapter-2 HE IS HERE..

‘CHAOS!’ ‘FRETFUL’ ‘STRESS!’ and numerous words like these fail to describe the current situation that was prevalent not only in the country but in the departments that joined hands to understand and solve the crime. It was as if the serial killer knew each and every move and is three steps forward,

“What the fuck is going on?” Junho said in frustration as he threw the set papers in his hand towards the wall. “Junho, you can’t just throw papers like this! I know you are frustrated and so we are.” Taecyeon said with a sympathetic look.

“You aren’t understanding the gravity of the situation! The victims are rising and so is the cruelty. I am worried what if the next victims are—

“Junho! I mean Mr Lee and Mr Ok, here is the report.” You rushed to his side with the thick folders and gave it to him before leaving. “How many times have I told you not to run with these thick folders?” Junho said with a stern look before taking the said folders and started going through it.

Taecyeon scoffed and texted Jennie.

Me: How long will they take?

Jen: Guess?

Me: I don’t know? Days, weeks, months, years, centuries or even millennials

Jen: Or they won't ever confess. Don’t worry

Me: Yeah, take care

Jen: You too :)

He closed his phone and saw him making notes. “Found something valuable? “ He said and sat next to him. “The reports have given great detail about the gruesome killings.” Junho said and turned his attention to Taecyeon.

“You remember, the initial conversation we had with the Chief? We spoke about backgrounds, abandoned areas?” Taecyeon nodded. “Well from the recent documents and evidence that were found, most of the victims are directly related to the killer in some way. Though, this sounds crazy especially how evidence has been gathered or possibly if the killer is deliberately leaving his evidence to find him, but why?”

“Because we are next on his target list.” Dr Kim said as he came with the Chief in their room. “Sir!” They stood up and saluted the Chief and greeted the doctor.

“Dr Kim is right” the chief sighed before continuing, “The two victims through which we thought we were able to get a hold of that monster, what happened? Another victim was killed horrifically and was not related to all others. So, that your attention could be diverted and from the rough sketches that were drawn and witnesses were called, most of them said that the accused knew the victim somehow the other way. It's not just a gruesome and gory play but it has some connection with the accused as well."

Later that night:

You and Jennie were going back after a hard and tiring day. “This case is too gory and scary.” Jennie said as she took a sip from juice. “Can’t agree more. It is literally so scary that I have become paranoid at this point.” You too walked closely keeping an eye out even though the general public was there but who would take a risk.

There were times when you felt someone’s presence but when you turned around, no one was there.

Rushing through your apartment’s door and closing it, a sigh of relief came out from both of your mouths.

“Lets get changed fast, then we can watch some shows while having some fried rice and the side dishes.” Jennie said to which you nodded

Everything was going well and you were about to fall asleep when the lights went off. “Why now?” You whined. “Don’t worry it will come in a minute or so” Jennie said but sadly, that minute turned into 15 minutes.

“Yes, thank you” Jennie sighed as she ended the call. “What happened?” You asked

“They are checking for the issue and the generator will start in a m-

A loud sound was heard as if someone broke the glass, making you both scream. “Jen-sh-” and another glass breaking sound was heard followed by bangings on the main door.

Tears were flowing down both of your faces. “D-do you think, its him?”

You frantically called the first number.

“P-please p-p-pick up!”

“Hello?”

“H-he is here. I think. P-

Before you could say anything the call ended and within a few seconds police sirens were heard and the bangings stopped and some rustling was heard outside.

“Y/N!!!” Junho screamed as he broke your apartment’s door followed by Taecyeon and other police officers and the lights came back.

“B-baby” He kneeled down as he took you in his arms, rubbing your back softly. “D-don’t worry baby, I am here” He whispered softly. After sometime, when you calmed down a bit, you snuggled your face in his chest and your grip on his shirt tightened.

“P-please don’t l-leave m- “Never, angel”

“Sir, we found this paper crumbled and this pin” San said he brought the evidence.

Both you and Jennie looked at the pin before you both turned pale. “Y/N, this is the p-pin that you lost!!” Jennie lost her balance and Taecyeon helped her.

“What does that paper say?” Junho growled. San’s hand shivered when he read it

“I was planning to meet you, my princess Y/N and your friend. You are too beautiful and i hope you remember this article. See ya next time”

“You are coming with me” Junho said as he stood up with you in his arms.

“I-I won’t go with you” You said as you tried to go from his arms.

this drama is dark as hell. it’s about high schooler ji soo who’s providing security for sex workers through an app to make money because he moved out of his home. then he meets this girl, yuri,�� who realizes what he’s doing and wants in on the business and turns his life upside down. kim dong hee and park joo hyun are *chef’s kiss* in this and just the whole drama is so well done and keeps you on edge. i binged it in one afternoon

365 repeat the year

simply because i was listening to the soundtrack of this last night and just generally being out of my mind, i will have to put this on the list. 10 people get the opportunity to travel back one year and fix their mistakes. but then they start dying one by one and our two protagonists need to figure out why. i would recommend this because there are many plot twists that are so good and unexpected, you will be engaged every step. nam ji hyun and lee joon hyuk’s chemistry is off the charts, it’s just a really good thriller drama with fantasy elements

into the ring

this is really just like a slice of life drama about people who work in a small town’s governing office. the humor is hilarious, the main couple is one of the best i have ever seen and the acting is amazing. it’s just about sera’s  “fake it til you make it” and gong myung being her secretary twink

hospital playlist

another slice of life drama. there is no plot essentially, it’s just about the lives of these 5 doctos that work in the same hospital and have been friends since college. it’s very endearing and very funny. another one like this from the same writer is prison playbook which is the same but it takes place in prison. 

strangers from hell

oh my god for one dollar name a really good romance kdrama....i can’t so here’s another horror thriller. im siwan moves into a studio apartment full of serial killers led by lee dong wook. that’s it. 10/10. also the rose soundtrack

some people say they didn’t like this but honestly it’s one of my favorites. the characters are incredibly smart and the whole cult stuff is terrifying. seo yeji gets dragged into a cult with her family and taecyeon and woo do hwan try to break her out. also you can just look at woo do hwan’s face which is always a bonus.

wow the first real romance drama. this is the best romance drama i’ve seen really. friends to lovers trope. park seo joon. what more do you want

school 2017

i’ll admit i haven’t seen the other school shows but this one is my favorite simply because there is no love triangle and kim jung hyun. all the characters are really interesting and explores the injustice and pressures students face in korea.

korean remake of the american tv show. i loved every single character. the casting was amazing. the writing was amazing. even though it’s a political drama it’s just so engaging and interesting and not hard to follow at all. basically the minister of environment gets appointed as prime minister of korea because well...everyone else died. and he has no idea what he’s doing.

woman and man have meals together without knowing or asking who the other is. without any attachments. they fall in love. it’s verrrry cute.

"What did I land myself into?" Taecyeon thought as he inspected the situation and environment around himself. While he was busy analysing the surroundings a gentle tug at the hem of his sleeve brought him out of train of thoughts. He looked at the big doe glistening eyes and a small pout playing on the lips.

"T-Thank y-you a-and pl-please I a-am sorry. I-i didn't meant to take you like this a-" your lightining speed speech was cut off in the beginning by him. "its okay and also I came with you and not the way around. Plus, why didn't you get your wounds treated huh? Don't say, it is a vet hospital and stuff. Come with me."

Okay, you didn't say anything because first of all, you were too overwhelmed to say anything. Second, this man whom you don't even know, you not only find him attractive but that you started liking him and feel safe? Thats a BIG statement but ofcourse, why would you tell him and finally, the way he was talking to you without giving you any chance to reply back made you feel something.

The vet hospital he took you to was the one where some of his friends of the other pack and other supernatural creatures work other than the human beings. "Dr Chan, we an emergency!" Taecyeon rushed into the said doctor's room without any fear scaring the poor werewolf.

"Taecyeon, what the heck!! Are you hurt anywhere? Did someone from other p- "It's a human girl" Taecyeon said refering to you as you were being pulled inside, while Chan had to blink a couple of times before understanding the complete situation before a mischievous smirk came up. "Oh, ma'am please take a seat as I call my colleagues Dr Baekhyun and Dr Yejin." Chan said while trying to control his laugh as he dialled the numbers.

"Not that little shit again, I swea- "but, he is good at stuff like this and why are you so worked up? Miss, please tell me the details while the other two doctors come in"

As much as this situation was making you confused as hell as to what was happening as the said doctor Chan was busy laughing at God knows what stuff, then him calling other two doc's as well and that gentleman whom you now know his name is Taecyeon is reacting kinda weird especially when doctor Chan mentioned the name of doctor Baek? Baekhyun.. yeah, Dr. Baekhyun; there was Taecyeon who was feeling many emotions and numerous thoughts were continuously going through this head due to which he couldn't arrive at a conclusion.

When Yeji took you in for treating and dressing the wounds both Dr Chan and Baekhyun took Taecyeon to a more isolated room quite far from yours. "Hyung, you know why we brought you here?" Chan said while Baekhyun took out some drinks from the small fridge. Taecyeon gave a confused look making the other two boys sigh in disappointment. "You found your mate!!" Baekhyun said with a soft smile, making his eyes widened even though he knew this was about to come. "But I c--- "What? You won't accept your mate Hyung? Oh, come on.. Don't act like those rogue wolves. We all kn-

"It's not about that!" Taecyeon raised his voice before covering his face with his hands. "We know what are you trying to say Hyung but what happened can't be undone! None of us can't even that pain but not every mate is like that! She isn't that bitch like Claire a-and remember that Hyung Seok will always with us." Taecyeon can't help but to cry as he remembered his brother who was once full of life, love, happiness, bravery. He was everything and was so perfect that it seemed so unreal but fate had cruel ways especially in the hands of his own mate, that's really a treachery and it can't be imagined even if you have rivals or enemies to go this way. Heaven forbid!!

The sad atmosphere changed when Dr Yeji entered the room along with you who was one step behind from being like an Egyptian mummy. "Oh, my god!! You had this much wounds, are you really okay? Why didn't you tell me?" His heart was beating so fast and his eyes were draped in a fabric of concern. You too were shocked as in no one ever was this concerned for you except for your parents and this person standing in front of you is a complete stranger in the span of almost 3 hours out of which you only came to know about his name. You too were so lost in each other's eyes that it was only Baekhyun's soft giggles that made you both break the eye contact and he got a harsh glare from Yeji.

A few days passed away, with nothing new. Taecyeon was trying to get back at his work but he couldn't somehow at some point of time, his mind and heart went back to you, the way you had looked at him when you asked for help or the way you tugged at his sleeve or your smile when you saw that pet of yours after the small surgery that had to take place. There was so much to think about even though you were together for only 4-5 hours that day.

Maybe Taecyeon was busy smiling like an idiot but his wolf wasn't pleased at all with him. His inner self was in a continuous argument mode.

His inner self:- You are the stupidest person. I have ever seen. I really don't know how did ma-

Taecyeon:- Hey, don't need to get down to that level. What's your problem anyway?

His inner self:- MY PROBLEM?! You being idiot is the problem. Why can't you talk to her? Even, when she called you as you were about to leave that hospital?

Taecyeon:- What would I have said that? It's okay but since you are my mate, let's go on a date?

His inner self:- You really have that much courage? You didn't even ask her name and here you were talking to take her on a date? Let alone that, you were so jealous of that little puppy!! Oh, my god...

Taecyeon:- Oh, please as if you weren't jealous. I had to control myself because you couldn't bear the sight of that puppy kissing her.

His inner self:- As if you wouldn't be.. Anyways, do something good and just like those close mates of yours said it's time for the open wounds to heal. Maybe, it won't heal 100% but that 80-90% is a necessity.

Taecyeon didn't reply back because he knew his inner self was right but he couldn't do anything and if you were his mate, his Luna then you would have to meet someday, somewhere and maybe that he was kinda jealous of the golden retriever.

The following evening, as he went out for a walk in the park near the river, a few minutes later barks and woofs were heard. He didn't gave it a much thought till he felt something near his leg along with something wet on his pants. He looked down at the puppy and he was kinda irritated as the pants were expensive and the small pup had dirtied it.

As soon as he held the puppy high, a soft voice broke all his anger. "Buzo, Where are you?" it's you and that's your voice. Taecyeon's inner self was on a overdrive because of happiness that finally, it and some contact even if it's just of voice.

The said puppy, Buzo barked at you, making you turn towards it and Taecyeon, and a shy smile came over on your face.

"Thank you so much once again, Mr Taecyeon. You again saved my Buzo and the way it looks at you, I can say that it likes you very much." As much as he was annoyed at Buzo, Taecyeon can't help but thank the golden retriever for giving a chance to meet you again....

Soon, enough you both exchanged numbers and started to have conversations. First through, SMS which lead to sharing of usernames of various social media accounts to having 2 hours of phone calls. The steady progress was observed and maybe it's this steady progress and your personality that started made Taecyeon to come to terms slowly and step by step.

He still hadn't shared his past with you, his true identity but slowly as he was opening his heart and emotions, you at the other gave the way and space for him to explore and let it out as if you knew how it feels to express and feel the slightest of vulnerability.

One day, he would surely come to terms with his own emotions, his feelings for you and even the slight jealousy he has when he sees the close relationship of yours and Buzo.. He can't wait for that day to come !

Maybe, this was Meant To Be... To also know this feeling of trying to understand ones know emotions, to try let go of the past, to try to fill at least some small voids which would later give that sense of peace, a sad yet happy memories and to have someone to share this especially to act like a child who feels his/her special candy or chocolate treat would be denied. it's really a beautiful feeling....
