Pomni Inktober Day 6 and 7! I decided to do these both on the same day.

The prompt for Day 6 was the Opposites AU by campbell_soup17 on Instagram. In this AU, everyone’s personality is swapped. Pomni is way too excited to be here. And since Canon Pomni doesn’t like horror or jump scares, Opposites Pomni loves both of those things! She would love Episode 3.

The prompt for Day 7 was the F-unfair AU by @tadc-funfair-au, who just so happens to be hosting Pomni Inktober! Basically what goes on in this AU is that a virus is spreading across the computer, forcing the cast to be constantly on the run. Pomni has taken over Caine’s role as the leader, putting her under a lot of pressure.

I had to add so many details last minute just to make sure the design is complete, which is such a shame because I feel like if I had JUST A LITTLE MORE TIME, I could've done it justice :( especially the knitting patterns-

But eh, in life, you win some, you lose some. I already knew that at some point in the challenges there would always be bumps in the way like Day 2, but we keep on rolling nonetheless

Workin' on a Pomni design, There's been A LOT for me to plan, with the help of Flipaclip, Capcut and maybe Alight Motion, I might make this work.

Writing some of the script, Still might need voice actors, I'm a young little project maker, this show is my dream, so I'm giving it my best!

Caine Aus

New thing where I take a character and do them in a swap universe, fell universe, and horror universe (based on arguably the three most popular Undertale Aus Underswap, Underfell, Horrortale). Swapping them with another character in their universe. Making them evil (or good if they already were evil)+angsty. And then making them in some sort of horror universe. Today's specimen is Caine from TADC

Swap: The Amazing Digital Funfair

Caine takes the role of bubble. He's a chatty little chattering teeth set that's always just yapping much to Bubbles annoyance. Not as unhinged as Bubble but is constantly interrupting Bubble and rambling so bubble forcefully shuts his trap, knocking all his teeth out

Fell: The Terrible Digital Circus

Caine is the main antagonist of this Au. He loves torturing the cast for amusement. He sets them on impossible missions that they are doomed to fail from the start and usually ends with all of them dying painfully only to be revived to do it all over again. He particularly likes to pick on Jax and sometimes Pomni. He is unable to feel any empathy so he sees the "Circus Freaks" as toys to play with and if he gets bored of a toy he'll make them more interesting like altering Gangles Mask to be angry or practically brainwashing Kinger to make him like a mini Caine. Some notes are that the shaded parts are meant to actually be golden not grey/black and also his one fang doesn't merge with his eye it goes behind it

Horror: The Amazing Digital Battle Royale

To make this different from the popular horror au Freakshow by @hootbon (tho I did take alot of inspiration) this one is set in a Hunger Games style Battle Royale but a bit worse. While they are battling to the death Caine will bring all the losers back to life after the battle to compete again so they're stuck in an infinite loop of dying and killing each other. If the battles too dull he'll add something interesting like acid candy, piranha like Gloinks, poison gas, or a psycho yandere moon. If the players refuse to fight each other Caine will have Bubble spread misinformation about each other in their voices (like uses Ragathas to make Pomni think she's gonna betray her) if that doesn't work he might take control of one of their bodies and force them to kill and maybe cannibalize their fellow players all while still conscious of their actions. But if a player is just too boring he'll abstract them by causing their insides to slowly destroy themselves giving them a slow painful death. So in short: He's kinda a meanie :(

2024's been a wild year... I mean come on, 3 Digital Circus episodes in just the span of a few months? CRAAAAZY, I know. Episode 5's looking good right now. I also got to know lots of cool AUs with their own share of charm and originality... I am autistic about one of them (YOU KNOW WHICH ONE IT IS HEHEGDHXHEHS)

DAY 1 - TERRIBLE DIGITAL CIRCUS by @obamerzslop

Okay, storytime.

The moment I was tagged in @tadc-funfair-au's Pomnitober, I was like "OH THAT'S COOL BUT I CAN'T JOIN :(((" and proceeded to whine like a little bitch baby for the rest of the day

Until I had an epiphany.

And I thought, "If I can't afford to waste a lot of time on side things like these due to my obligations, why not make it a challenge?"

and a challenge it became.

The challenge I set-up for myself was this:

I can only spare about an hour of a day for each Pomni prompt. No matter how complicated a design was, the deadline is STRICTLY 1 HOUR, no extensions.

Doesn't matter if some areas still requires a lot of touch ups, if I can't finish it in only a one-hour timeframe, it HAS to stay the way it is. No additional final edits, tone curves or chromatic aberration will be done.

This challenge is not only to help me warm up for the commissions I do later and provide stimulus for me, it would also help me train myself on enforcing the idea of letting go an art piece despite my perfectionism.

Also the fact that I do this while under the constant glare of the sun gives me something to do instead of watching youtube videos (the open-space I have minimizes my ability to see what exactly I'm doing on the screen, which is something that's a huge no no when I have to work professionally)

So for the next 30-days, I'll be doing one-hour Pomnis for Pomnitober!! Isn't that very epic

This Pomni design is so cool tho ngl, I had a ton of fun attempting this one. Although I can't tell if her hat is meant to resemble horns to go along with the edge aesthetic of the au or if it's just a cartoony exaggerated reaction, so I combined both to compensate. The resulting product became so satisfying, I was able to let the piece be "finished", even though I had 4 minutes left to spare. Overall, a simple yet fun design to tackle.
