Somewhat absurd that this is only my third time sitting down and making Touhou fan-art, but frankly I have a very complicated relationship with the franchise, but also frankly I do love it, so. Tadaaaah.

Didn't even realize it was the 20th anniversary of my favorite Touhou game until something pointed that out to me... the day before the anniversary. Oops. Not that knowing would've made me draw this sooner. Frankly only did so because I randomly starting thinking about Suika x Miyoi stuff for Christmas Eve and started working on something for that, but that plan fell through and now I'm restarting it entirely, but I did draw some random sketchy thing for it before I gave up on the first iteration. This thingy:

First time drawing since May, hooray. And this bigger image is my second time drawing since May, hooray. A shame I can't do it on command, though. Really gotta get into a really specific mindset to do it ever, otherwise I just lock up and can't make any progress with anything.

Eck. It's annoying how hard it is to sit down and draw things I wanna draw, since drawing is so damn fun. Drawing this was so damn fun. Drawing Tenshi and Shion in particular was really fun, but drawing all of these characters was fun.

Anyway, I wrote more on pixiv about this, specifically my feelings for Touhou, though I guess my post on pixiv neglected to ramble about how I'm so glad ZUN is a cool guy and observing him as just a person making games is honestly really encouraging in one way or another. He's just a leftist making games about belonging and acceptance, with a side of antics and a large serving of comfy Shinto/Buddhist/Taoist/Touhou vibes.

All I want to repeat on this site though is, uh, huh. Sobering of Lotus Eaters, huh. Latest chapters are pretty good. Love that manga. Can't wait to keep working on a random Suika x Miyoi fanfic that'll express one or two ideas I have about it, ideas that I'm very certain are true/accurate, but I'm very excited for that to be wrong, as always. Miyoi's special though. She's gotta be the one......

istg my adhd is crying about my last idea cause now i can have iced latte in two steps and god knows cold coffee works better with my brain than hot coffee

u still need some prep but you can wait until a high energy moment to make this. im still working on the method but the last one was:

1. grab some old ice tray, (silicone would make it easier to release the blocks later and if it comes with a lid, you wont make a mess like my first times), a teaspoon measure (i would recommend getting a set of measures if u dont have one, they are not pretty expensive? but any little spoon would make it anyway), honey/liquid sweetener/whatever and your instant coffee of choice

2. put 1 teaspoon of instant coffee in each cubicule of the ice tray (i normally use two ice cubes for each latte, if you want four ice cubes, you should put half of the measure and that)

3. put half of the sweetener of choice you would add to your normal iced latte to each cube (1/4 if u want to use 4 ice cubes, yknow)

4. take some cold water and fill the cubes until HALF of the capacity. this is important!!! cause while they are freezing, it could spillway everywhere in your freezer. if you fill it 2/3 its fine too, but dont fill it completly!!

5. slowly stir each cube so the mix is... homogenous? the sweetener mixed well with the coffee, i mean.

6. let it rest a bit, like, 10 minutes i guess, so the instant coffee would completly dissolve on the water

7. TO THE FREEZER!!

i usually let them overnight! its hard to took off the ice tray BUT!!!! you just need a cup or mug, two ice cubes and your milk/vegetal milk of choice and TADAAAAH instant iced latte!!

Next I need to combine the sky color. Surprisingly, that's far more easier than I thought. I just struggling with the layer changing stuff tho.

You see, I use 3 layer when Im editing this pic. Now I learn that if I blur the third layer, the other two wont get blurred too. The blur only affects the third layer and only them. There is a folder feature to make them easier to be blurred (Without having to combining the layer) but I forgot to use that

Anyway, it's done already when I realized that so fuck it.

Now we gonna save it, and crop all the mistakes I don't want you all to notice....

So the original picture frame is 536x537. But for this edited result, I need almost 1350x694 pixel ᕙ(ಠ ਊ ಠ)ᕗ (It's all the zoom and pic gap fault). In the end, I have to rework on their resolution too (Godaaaaaamn ┐(´д`)┌)

Anyway, the resolution repairing don't do much tho, but I will serve you the final result
