Maybe it's as they realize their attraction to each other, maybe it's been a series of bygone touches, or maybe there's been hundreds of almost kisses that neither of them acknowledge. They're going over her thesis proposal, slowly leaning closer without really meaning to, but then Imogen's hair gets caught in Bob's glasses and when he startles back, he pulls on her hair, making her yelp in surprise. It's a mess, but once they're untangled and have stopped laughing, they actually kiss. Boom. Fireworks.

Superman Headcanon (AU-maybe)

Superman biggest cross to carry in life with is dealing with loss.

Growing up on a farm or going to church every Sunday, you’d think he’d be comfortable understanding life and death, see things thrive and then die. But it’s something he could never come to terms with fully.

Killing animals wasn’t always easy but they rarely butchered any, preferred to support other farmers instead and didn’t raise cattle for butchering and chickens used for eggs.

But Loss was something that he could hardly ever swallow , permanent loss.

Like when he loss Kara to the 31sts century, His parents even though he never knew them, even his alternate universe selves couldn’t hardly take it (When he lost Lois or when the Falsh died) but he after the Justice Lords interaction , he does everything to stay away form that line as much as possible .

(there’s some thing I kind of noticed in the DCAU( The “Bruce Timm verse”) is that Clark has a hard time accepting loss. he has very negative reactions to it in all the episodes we saw him lose somebody close to him. “Last son of Krypton pt. 2, Brave New Metroplois, For the Man who has everything our episodes that really highlighted that reaction. So maybe it was implied or maybe it wasn’t but it just stood out to me and I like this characterization for Clark because Superman always gets so much flack about not being “complex enough” when when there are people in life who aren’t that “complex” and don’t have much burdens or baggage in their lives, but I do like this because it is something real that even people with seemingly perfect lies deal with and have a hard time dealing with that intern turns their whole lives upside down.So if there was any “flaw” that they could givlle Superman, I would prefer to be this one.😊 )

(The secondary reason I love this is because it shows how you dont need a traumatic event to have someone behave in a certain manor, ive sen all kids of videos of people reacting to loss dramatically and being emotionally hurt by hit, ended up on drugs, depression , ect....so you dont have to have a heavy background in loss to REACT in such a way, and clark having this seemingly "perfect" life doesn't mean he can't react this way also.)
