◤ Call him a lazy bum, but Sebastian really never thought he’d be the boss of some place. Let alone a damn grocery store. But hey, there was an opening, and it wasn’t like he was going to pick up any other job anytime soon to get money. So... he’s the big kahuna, now. ◢

◤ It’s surprisingly going smoother than he would have thought. But his workload has evolved into something more complex, which takes his full focus. His breaks are shorter but still revered as they were before he got the advancement. ◢

◤ Which means the rest of the time, he’s working his ass off making sure everything’s running smoothly. It’s still a relatively new thing, so hopefully he’ll get better with time. Oh please let this get easier. ◢

◤ More work means less time to really engage people unless they have a question (and less time to keep Balthazar entertained, but at least now he can’t get fired for having a frog hop around-- he’s the boss), but he still manages to give a greeting as he passes, or maybe even two sentences to people he knows. Such is the way he greets Nori when he spots her snooping around the aisles. ◢

◤ “Hey,” he says, arms full with a box of who-knows-what. “Looking for anything in particular, Nori?” He only says it because she looks lost, which, well-- it’s his job to help with that. Seems like everything’s his job now. ◢
