If you’re someone who says testosterone gel “doesn’t work,” please stop saying that.
It’s not true whatsoever. I get that not everyone has the same reactions to it and some people don’t fully absorb it but it has worked wonders for me. It has improved my life x10. I used to struggle and DREAD doing my weekly testosterone shot.
The night before I was going to start gel, I decided to go on Reddit to see what people were saying about gel because I had no experience with it. All I saw was people talking about how it “doesn’t work.” It was hurtful to see all that shit. So please stop saying these things.

Gently massage your boy with t-gel. Work the knots out of his shoulders with the cool fluid as you listen to his soft moans of appreciation. He’s thanking you for your kindness. The kindness of making him a man. Make sure to languidly rut against his ass as you do this, he’ll be grateful.

Things They Don't Tell You About Testosterone:
When they said horny I didn't think it would be this bad
Hair. Hair everywhere. You thought you already had hairy legs? Boom. More hair. Thicker hair. Darker hair.
Phantom Dick. I'm not joking, the longer you're on T, the more your brain will feel it. It's there, I swear to god.
Bottom growth hurts?????? I was under the impression it just happened but NO. Within the first 2 weeks that shit hurted
Your facial hair is gonna be patchy I'm sorry 😞 same thing happens with teenage boys. Welcome to your second puberty.
Voice cracks are NOT the same as normal voice cracks. It just feels like the absence of sound rather than a crack?? And, at least for me personally, it's worse when trying to sing than it is when speaking. But don't worry! You'll have plenty of cracking while speaking too!! 😀
Speaking of singing, there is gonna be a point in time where you just can't really sing comfortably because your voice is not low enough for songs but also cannot physically go higher. So you're just kind of stuck in a very limited range.
"You can expect some acne" I was expecting acne on my FACE, chief. Tell me why I found a pimple on my fucking calf????? What reason did it have to be there?????????? Yeah it shows up in odd places. But also! For some, testosterone can make acne better!! Me, personally, it hasn't been bad at all. Just confused about the shoulder pimples.
You're gonna suddenly like cars, trains, graffiti, sports, or woodwork. I don't make the rules. Choose your Pokémon. Mine was graffiti.
Please. Please please please please please apply deodorant more than once a day. You sweat more and have more body odor. I'm so serious. PLEASE re-apply during the day.
I'll add to this if I think of more

Thank you so much for answering the question about tgel, glad I did treat it like a lotion, a bit worried that my cycle might come back given how overdue/inconsistent I've been with my injections recently on top of that but its in fate's hands now... go tgel go!
of course, happy to help! it seems like NOBODY gets good information about T gel from their provider like, at ALL. it seems like people never really get an explanation and if they do it's either wrong or missing information. my provider never even explained how to use it, either, they just prescribed it and i was on my own.
now technically, it *is* the pharmacists job to tell you these things, and i do encourage people to ask their pharmacists questions for every medication they take. in many places its mandatory that the pharmacist asks you if you have any questions. take advantage of this, they are more than happy to explain how to use a medication, or point you toward some resources that can help. most pharmacists that i've met actually take that explanation pretty seriously. the thing is: nobody really knows this is an option and i totally get why people don't do this more often. nobody advertises this, that your pharmacist is ready, willing and waiting to help you figure out how to use your medication... but people just make you assume its straight forward to take
good luck, glad to hear it sounds like things are going well! i hope you see the results you want! if you ever have any questions feel free to ask!

i'm three months on and my thighs are super hairy 🥰 which is sick. but i have not got any face or even tummy hair. is it just because i'm applying it there? if i switched to putting it on my stomach would i get chest hair faster

I had an appointment with my endocrinologist over video yesterday and I am now gonna be using two (2)(✌🏻) pumps of gel every day! very excited to see how a bigger dose might speed up some of the changes I've been seeing!

I know it's kinda an older ask but for the other anon worrying about the uh efficiency? of T gel: I I'm on T gel and I've definitely noticed changes, it did take a couple of dose adjustments since I don't think I really started to notice anything until 1.5/2 pumps. My voice, muscle and weight gain, bottom growth and sensitivity, hair growth, have definitely changed/been affected. I can't think of much else rn but I'm sure there's been other led obvious changes/etc. etc.
hello there, hey that's great to hear!
generally i try to uplift stories like this because while every single person's body is different, and there will be many people who can't respond well to t gel for health reasons, there are also many people who get all of the effects they want and then some from HRT with topical gels! it's important to talk about how some people don't benefit from them, but it's not good for that to become a grand, sweeping assumption when it comes to how every single person is affected by topical hormones
you can't know until you try! i'm glad you've seen the change you want to see after ncreasing your dose! i think a lot of people don't feel comfortable increasing their dose, which is a totally fine thing to do. whenever you start injectable T, you start on a very low dose and work your way up to a higher dose over time. it's okay to ask for a higher dose of T gel if you find that the starter dose isn't quite strong enough. it's always okay to try higher doses of things!
so glad to hear you've found success! i hope you continue seeing the results you'd like to see! always makes me very happy to hear success stories about topical testosterone and estrogen, it's such a great resource for many people! they are definitely not wholesale "worse" or "Weaker" than other hormones, it simply depends on the person who's using them, whether or not they have certain health or skin conditions, the dosage of the gel, how/where they're applying it, if they're accidentally washing it off too soon, and so on :)
good luck with the rest of your transition & journey! thanks for stopping by! feel free to ask any questions you may have!

you would never think that you'd have to spend a lot of time shirtless when you start testosterone but you do
