So I was rereading chapter 37 of Shen Yuan of No Relation by @grubus and I realized something. SQQ did exactly what YQY threatened to do years ago and then some.

Sooo ya know that little gif I posted? This whole thing stemmed from me letting things get too out of hand while drawing up the dream scene that was only going to be that tiny little image....I have no regrets.

Just in case here's the rant

syonr spoilers! kinda?

Writing Meng Mo's dream chapter is both hard, easy, boring and interesting.

Like, syonr is a fic where I explore what would be different here and there depending on SY simply existing. But Meng Mo is.... Meng Mo. He will make the dream that same way every time, but he's too important to just SKIP over (as well as what being in the dream MEANS for SY and LBH's relationship) so I have to figure out how to keep it interesting enough for me to read it (if I find it boring when editing, something is wrong) while still sticking close to canon.

It's one of those fun things where I'm unsure where to end the chapter, to keep it at the normal length or make it longer, what to keep, what to describe in detail and what to skim over.... like what is IMPORTANT! To me? To the story itself???

It's been fun to reread that chapter though, in the books.

hiiiiiuiii, did u ever decided where shen yuan from syonr came from?(like birth, not the jia) cuz i always like to imagine that he was comes from one of these wacky flowers or trees that grow babies, like the ones that only need a drop of blood to start reproducing, surely they do exist in pidw!

I do know where Shen Yuan is from, yes! It's a spoiler though. One day it will be revealed, but not today ^^
