welcome to sinna’s show of misfortune!!!! where her car gets broken in to twice in about two weeks!!!! (it’s alright they didn’t break the window this time, but they did get the guy right behind me :( )

p sure i accidentally left my car unlocked last night, which might be why my window was spared - but they did take the ibuprofen and taco bell coupons in my console…

but they ALSO TOOK THE GLASS FILLED SHOES I HAD SITTING IN A BAG FROM THE LAST TIME THEY BROKE IN, BASTARD.

they left my umbrella tho which is nice.

but also like!!!! they have the WORST idea of “wow this would be a good car to rob!” it’s not!!!! it’s blatantly pretty clean and empty inside!!! i talked to the guy behind me who got his window smashed - he didn’t have anything to steal in his car either!!! you can look in the window and SEE i have fuck all in this car. and why take the shoes this time when you didn’t last time???

anyway. i’m gonna have to park in the deck again for a while until i get a pass for the employee deck. why has this june been so homophobic 😔 i am glad at least that - again - i still have all my windows. especially since i got the correctly fitted glass put in literally yesterday morning.

we called in 😔 consulted gf and she used my own logic against me. i absolutely would have told her to call in in this scenario

any other friday night, i would go in anyway - because normally, i’m on the desk! don’t have to bend over, don’t have to worry about it. but this friday i am not… and i cannot get the thought out of my head that i might try and get my x-ray detector behind a patient, and have to stretch and bend (and sometimes get up on my tiptoes) and have my back seize up!!! where i would then have to deal with having done any of the following:

drop the detector ON the patient

drop the detector on the floor (not as bad but those mother fuckers are uuuuh. like. 80k. yeah. dollars. jesus fuck)

FALL AND HURT MYSELF. MORE

fall and fucking accidentally rip out a bunch of lines and/or tubes from the patient, hurting not only myself but potentially them, in a MUCH more dangerous fashion

i know from experience that if a tech passes out on the floor (floor being. slang? for “in a unit in the main hospital”) then the nurses WILL do a MET call (medical emergency team) and that’s embarassing

it didn’t happen to me but it did happen to one of my buddies lmao. no i will never let her live it down

but yeah. it’s better after laying down for a bit? but i can still feel it on the edge of my awareness, ready to act up at a moment’s notice. desk would have been safe but this is of course the ONE night i’m not on it. syobs

i guess i’ll play the new pikmin and maybe? try and do artfight things? maybe not, i tend to hunch a bit for art and that’s a no-no right now :P
