It's entirely the fault of Tumblr that i can't get the idea of Vampire!Charles out of my head. First, it's mentioned in a few posts, and then people keep posting fanart of Charles that looks very vampiric. And then ahyperactivehero starts writing "blessed be the boys time can't capture" an actual story which has Charles as a vampire but isn't entirely AU as it seems like they are still going to become detectives.

Charles being a vampire is just so interesting not just because he would have vastly different abilities but also because vampires always add a different sense of morality because they are predators, Charles would drink blood but would it be animal, human, magical synthetic? Would Charles be more willing to harm their enemies as a vampire? Would he occasionally kill enemies who go too far and won't retreat?

What abilities would Charles have? Depending on the media, vampires have vastly different powers. The common ones are enhanced strength and speed, senses, and reflexes. There are some many other shape-shifting, flight, telepathy, mind control, and blood magic. Charles having different abilities would also change how they operated as detectives. If Charles can't mirror travel, how would he follow Edwin, turn into a bat, and ride in Edwin's front pocket through the mirror? Perhaps vampires could have a method of teleportation like shadow travel.

Would Charles be able to wear his earring? Would he be vulnerable to religious iconography? Does it require the vampire to believe in the particular symbols. Sunlight is deadly to vampires, but can Charles use a tanning bed? Yes, he can, and he does just to annoy Edwin. Would Charles carry a welcome mat in his bag so he can get into other peoples houses without an invitation? Edwin would be extremely pissy if this worked because it won't make any sense. If Charles can't walk in sunlight how could they get around this for cases, An umbrella? Some vampires can influence the weather so Charles could make it cloud over whenever he needs.

On a darker note, if Charles ever lost control and killed someone, the level of drama and angst would be cosmic. Or if Charles became addicted to killing and he started hunting criminals to satisfy his bloodlust, then Edwin would have to stop him. Would Edwin be able to? Lock Charles up with blessed silver until he came to his senses?

The circular LED on his temple spun yellow, spinning, spinning… Whirrrrrrr… Soon that process was completed too, and Connor reconnected to the port to begin importing a horde of overnight data, the details of which were locked so tight that Sixty couldn’t breach them—but he didn’t have to. Like a parasite, he latched onto that point of primal instinct and dug out just the information he needed as it traversed the spaces between them, fragmented and invisible. An address. A bar.

NEUROTECHNOLOGY: CALL IT MIND CONTROL

The United States is currently testing advanced military-grade weapons and quantum computer systems on the unexpected global population. Targeted Individuals are tortured and tormented every day of their lives through DARPA’s Next-Generation Nonsurgical Neurotechnology (N3) Program utilizing CIA agents – acting as Artificial Intelligence [AI]. In the future, the system will be marketed as deviceless “Spatial Technology.”

Neurotechnology is a brain-computer interface [BCI] connecting to the central nervous system. Call it Mind Control. 

If one can control the mind, they can control the body.

MIND CONTROL:  Mind reading, mind and body control, 24/7 tracking, brainwashing, dream manipulation, spatial holograms as well as physical assaults and verbal harassment produced by CIA agents. This is accomplished by combining data sets from 5G towers and directed energy weapon satellites [DEW]. The system connects to the central nervous system – including the brain – and operates without a device. Invisible physical assaults are constant. Even if well documented are challenging to prove. The system can cause sensations anywhere on the body.

DOMAIN: Every human has a domain attached to their mind. This is where the agents broadcast their transmissions and control the victim. ​All living things have a domain. Plants, insects, animals and humans. Domains have infinite capabilities. The entire global population is replicated within human domains – in vertical cubicle formation. These replicants, as the agents call them, are tortured constantly. The replicants watch everything you do from your perception. This is the New World Order plan. The subdomain advent calendar is located behind the perception. Everything a person sees, hears and thinks is recorded utilizing a BCI. All memories from 2019-present can be viewed like a film. Domains are recorded, as well.

BRAINWASHING: Brainwashing the victim leads to behavioral modifications and mood control. The agents create “programs” that can be turned on or off at any time. Subliminal messages come in the form of faint visions flashing in the front of one’s mind. Victim’s vision becomes increasingly grainier over time – and depending on active sequencers.

The agents create intricate dream sequences to affect the victim’s subconscious. Dream sequences combine people, places and things that are familiar with the victim. They can be extremely lucid.

VOICE-TO-SKULL: DARPA started a program called LifeLog in 2003. They refer to it as the V2K era. It’s when they began recording transcripts of all of our thoughts. Mind-reading. This technology is also known as Microwave Hearing, Synthetic Telepathy, Voice-of-God weapon and is utilized for traceless mental torture. Agents constantly disrupt, censor and redirect the victim’s freedom of thought. Victim’s get wrongly labeled as mentally-ill [schizophrenia] when reporting on this. V2K is also used for deception and impersonation of voices.

NO PRIVACY: The system completely disregards fundamental human rights such as: privacy, mental and physical health, safety, data security, family security, financial security, etc. Freedom of thought – or cognitive liberty – is a God-given right. The technology was deployed without implementation of new laws and there is little to no oversight, as the CIA has full control of the system.

WIP Wednesday

I have been cursed by the incorrigible @the-cooler-sidestep (thank you, thank you, friend) to scrabble through my files for something passably postable like a nuisance animals through trashcans. So, here are a couple:

Ortega wants to run over, wants to close the distance between the two and sweep Rashad up in a hug, but something in their posture stops him. A door slams in the apartment above and they flinch like they've been struck. They pick anxiously at their fingertips. Their eyes flash back and forth around the darkened room. He's never seen them this jumpy before. He reaches over and flips the light switch. Rashad gasps in pain, curling in on themselves further, and buries their face in their hands. Their usually messy waves are shaved down to nothing. Their clothes hang on their figure like they've been starving for months. They look like a poor facsimile of themself. A shadow on the wall. "What happened to you?" The question comes out as a whisper. He's afraid they might bolt if he speaks too loudly.

Rashad shakes their head, pressing their hands to their ears. In the full light, Ortega notices the sickly pallor to their usually warm brown skin. They look up at him and he notices the dark rings around their eyes. "How long has it been?"

Lying still would usually make Remus antzy. Itchy with the need to do something. To move, to fidget, to distract his mind or hands. But between the light touches and the occasional nuzzling from Spoon demanding pets, Remus feels relaxed. Remus reaches up, taking Chen's hand and pressing a kiss to his palm. His eyes follow up the synthetic skin and over the interlocking silvery pieces of Chen's prosthetic arm. They're both in short-sleeves. A small sign of trust, a push out of their shared comfort zone. Brutally welded mods and glaringly orange tattoos. Marks against their humanity. He can feel the slight discomfort slip between the ever-shifting plates of Chen's mental shields. No one has shown Chen open affection towards his mods before. The knowledge carves free something bitter and nasty in Remus' chest. He bites down hard on the emotion. It is useless in the safety of Chen's apartment. It's disruptive of him, but he pulls Chen's hand further down, pressing featherlight kisses across the knuckles, across the wrist, up the forearm. Chen hums a satisfied little sound and puts his book down. He watches Remus closely, his expression inscrutable. "Be careful not to cut yourself," Chen says quietly. He's warning against the shifting joints and gears, open for easy access. The thought makes Remus chuckle. "A small price to pay," he runs his fingers over the more dangerous spots, just to prove his point. "I'm not afraid of a little pain."

He clicks his tongue against the back of his teeth. "So…." He stifles a chuckle as Rashad's shoulders stiffen. They've got enough tension to support a bridge on their own. "Couldn't think of a gift, could you?" Rashad finally looks at him, their brown eyes narrowing on him. "I couldn't think of anything he'd want." They look away too fast, but Ricardo catches the flash of a frown. "You know, I never understood how someone with telepathy could be so bad at giving gifts." It's a little meaner than Ricardo usually ribs them, but it's also subtle revenge for the fact that they forgot his own birthday. Not that he's mentioned it to them. Neither have they. That doesn't sting. Not at all.  Rashad mutters something darkly under their breath. Something about Daniel's apartment being too high up, no doubt. But there's also a flush to their cheeks. Ricardo smiles wickedly. "Rashad Basri, are you blushing?" Ricardo can't help the laugh as Rashad's head snaps his way. "It's okay, I'm sure Daniel will be thrilled with whatever you brought him. Even if it's just a card."

Where is the true racism in True Blood?

While vampires are notoriously known for being sexy outsiders, HBO’s True Blood amps up the sexiness and takes the vampires out of the darkness and into the light of the public eye. True Blood aired in 2008 and is set in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana. The town resides in a version of the world where vampires “came out of the coffin” two years ago via “The Great Revelation” where they made their existence known to the world. They were able to do so because synthetic blood was created, called True Blood, that allows vampires to get their sustenance from it rather than needing human blood. Although vampires are now allowed to enter mainstream society now, they are not treated as equals. The American Vampire League is a political group that is lobbying to get the Vampire Rights Amendment (VRA) passed that would put an amendment in the constitution, permitting vampires to have the same rights as humans. As interesting as it is, vampire politics are not the main focus of the show and are just embedded in through references, and some TV interviews with the AVL spokesperson, Nan Flanigan. The show actually follows Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress with telepathy, who falls in love with the first vampire she meets, Vampire Bill (underwhelming name, I know), as it is only with vampires that she doesn’t worry about reading their minds. The first season of the show focuses on a murder mystery, as bodies of women who have had sex with vampires –referred to as “fangbangers”, a derogatory term– keep piling up in Bon Temps.

In the show vampires are “othered”, having parallels with Black people and Gay people in America, with the VRA being reminiscent of the Civil Rights Act and the “God Hates Fangs” image in the title sequence being reminiscent of the homophobic Westboro’s church slogan, among other things. While there’s plenty to say about these parallels and critical race theory, what I am going to analyze is the treatment of Black people in the first season of True Blood, in comparison to the new vampire minority group.

First of all, with the shows being set in the south there are mentions of The Civil War being a significant moment of history, but no outright condemnation of it. For some reason there is a trend of making vampires confederate soldiers. The Vampire Diaries did it with Damon Salvatore, Twilight with Jasper Hale, and in True Blood it is the main love interest of Bill Compton. Since Bill is a Vampire who’s been around a bit and was an original resident of Bon Temps, Sookie’s grandma presumes he was a confederate soldier. When it is confirmed, she gets excited and wants Sookie to ask him to speak at a meeting of her Civil War historical group, The Descendants of the Glorious Dead. As the title implies they’re not going to shame Bill for having fought to keep slavery, instead he is an honored speaker at their meeting, where as you can see the confederate flag also makes an appearance

The only stance he makes on his views of the war, was that he and the other soldiers didn’t understand what they were really fighting for or had a choice, which seems a bit revisionist Despite this we are meant to believe that none of the people of the town are explicitly racist towards Black people. Sookie’s grandma’s love of the confederacy isn’t a problem for Sookie’s Black best friend Tara, who sees her as more of a mother figure than her own mother. In fact, when Tara is the only one to actually acknowledge Bill’s role in the war by asking if he owned slaves–which he responds his family did!– she is the one that gets chastised for “spoiling the mood”, while Bill having owned slaves is not confronted.

This leads to a disconnect between the southern setting of the show and its treatment of Black people as all the racism has been displaced onto the Vampire race, who are mostly white. As Sabrina Boyer describes, “In Southern texts by many Southern writers, white characters tend to experience ways of becoming black, which is a recognition of a racist region, as well as a moderately progressive way to comment on racial relations within the South”[1].She argues that True Blood’s use of “white characters that embody blackness” is part of this larger Southern trend that puts racial “otherness” on white characters to confront racism. While, she does acknowledge that this is not unproblematic and makes an argument against it later on. I disagree with the initial progressive analysis of this phenomenon. White characters will never be able to actually embody Blackness and True Blood’s take on this is problematic. The attempt to show racism through “othering” vampires–again the main being a confederate soldier–- panders to white audiences and is a weak hegemonic negotiation. Especially as the show makes no references towards intersectionality with Black vampires who rarely appear. Boyer concludes, “the series, while it] attempts to counter the hegemonic forces surrounding racism in our culture, doesn't critically engage with the fact that people of color, because of their skin or when in the act of passing they are discovered, are immediately othered”[2]. Now, this statement I agree with because True Blood’s displacement of racism onto vampires takes away from actual racism. In doing so True Blood fails its two Black characters by undermining their acknowledgment of racism and putting the oppression of actual minorities below Vampires.

Overall, True Blood takes the metaphor of othering its vampire population too far when its paralleling of oppression of actual minorities takes away from legitimizing racism towards its human population. Despite its Southern setting and call backs towards confederacy, the show does not properly tackle actual racism to justify its use of those images. By not acknowledging the racism of white people towards Black people in favor of vampire othering, the show fails its Black characters and is not as complex as it could be within concepts of intersectionality.

Part 2: Bridging Spiritual and Mental Realms l The Man of Sin and Modern Afflictions

The Man of Sin:

Mark 5 forms the base of my ministry because it reveals the Man of SIN, exposing him for who he is. In this passage, Jesus encounters a man living among the tombs, who had often been bound in shackles and chains, only to break free from them. This man cried out night and day cutting himself with stones. The passage also describes the man as aggressive by informing us that no one was strong enough to subdue him. (Mark 5:2-5)

Let's break down this story to gain a full understanding:

The man was isolated in the tombs, a situation indicating severe mental distress. He wore shackles and chains, marking him as an inmate by today's standards. Today, he might be seen as someone struggling with addiction. These are characteristics of SIN. His act of breaking free from the chains is akin to that of an escaped prisoner. It takes a brave soul to escape prison these days. He'd likely carry a gun and would possibly murder for his freedom. This too is a characteristic of SIN. Cutting his wrists with stones is an act of self-harm, while his cries for help are symptoms we see in mental illness, both of which further illustrate the depth of his suffering and the manifestation of SIN.

The Legion was the source of all this man's suffering and SIN—a Legion of "many members" housed within the man. Each one of this man's SINFUL thoughts that led him to his SINFUL actions was an effect of LEGION. "Cause and effect."

Spirits are invisible; you cannot see them. With that, it becomes clear that Jesus was in conversation with a formless voice in this story, and it was not His first time. Jesus could hear the audible voice of a spirit without form dwelling inside this man's tabernacle of flesh, those thoughts that led to the man's SINS. Today, we would describe this phenomenon as schizophrenia.

Was Jesus schizophrenic? I'll need you to be patient with me as I explain this, but yes, He was. And I'll show you in the next section, but are you aware that our science today supports the notion that He was? They have analyzed the major prophets such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Paul from a behavioral, neurologic, and neuropsychiatric perspective to determine the nature of their revelations. They are saying that these men had experiences that resemble those now defined as psychotic symptoms, suggesting that their experiences may have been manifestations of primary or mood disorder-associated psychotic disorders. These findings suggest that persons with primary and mood disorder-associated psychotic symptoms have had a monumental influence on the shaping of Western civilization. We already live in a world where we no longer believe God still speaks to His prophets with and AUDIBLE WORD, and now science is aiming towards a world where we will believe they NEVER DID.

Schizophrenic patients believe they can hear the thoughts of other people. We call this telepathy, and now have machines that are capable of doing so. Science calls it synthetic telepathy. One must wonder how this is even possible. Such a thing seems like science fiction.

The ability to use telepathy is something the Illuminati are known for by many of those who are suffering. The ones I'm trying to reach with my message. They believe that this telepathy ability is a part of how THEY control their minds. Was this man's mind controlled? YES, IT WAS. By whom? The "many members" of the Legion. And where was this Legion? Inside the man DRIVING him into the tombs. DRIVING him to cut his wrist. Very much the same way that THIS KIND DROVE the boy to FALL into the fire. NIV 2011.

Luke 8:29 For Jesus had commanded the impure spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places. NIV 2011

Luke 8:29 For he commanded the unclean spirit, that he should go out from the man. For he took him oft times, and he was bound with chains, and kept in stocks, and when the bonds were broken, he was led of the devil into desert. WYC 1382

THIS KIND is the Legion. This Legion was this man's SIN. This is the Man of SIN. (2 Thessalonians 2:3) A spirit, the murderer from the beginning. (John 8:44) The offspring of the Viper. (Matthew 12:34) That Viper that eats dust all his days. (Genesis 3:14) Man was made from the dust. (Genesis 2:7) So were the pigs. (Genesis 1:24)

Each action of SIN this man thought of, IN HIS MIND,��came from the WISPERS (Matthew 10:27) of the Legion that was capable of speaking audibly to Jesus. This body of "many members" may have been able to speak to the man as well. This is schizophrenia, all of that SIN dwelling inside the man. Who in our world today is teaching this? These "victims" need the TRUTH, not pharmakeia.

When Jesus gave the Legion permission to enter into the tabernacle of those pig's flesh, we see them immediately change their behavior to match that of the mans. They became lunatic. Something had happened to them WITHIN THEIR MINDS, and they immediately turned violent, probably attacking each other all the way down the steep bank into the sea and drowned themselves. They committed suicide. (Mark 5:12-13) They Legion DROVE them to murder themselves. I remind you; MURDER IS SIN. What was these pigs SIN? Legion was, wasn't he? The murderer from the beginning. (John 8:44)

What happened to the man when the Legion left his tabernacle of flesh? That home was swept clean, wasn't it? (Mark 5:15) Where then was this man's SIN? At the bottom of the sea inside a herd of dead pigs. SIN is not a choice; He is a spirit. He has a Kingdom of his own. I want you to think about secular history: a Legion belongs to a Kingdom. (Luke 17:21) He is the THORN that kept Paul from being conceited. That angle of Satan that harassed him, that Christ's grace was sufficient enough to cover. A body of "many members" that belongs to the Man of SIN.

2 Corinthians 12:7-9 And lest the greatness of revelations enhance me in pride, the prick of my flesh, an angel of Satan, is given to me, that he buffet me. For which thing thrice I prayed the Lord, that it should go away from me. And he said to me, My grace sufficeth to thee; for virtue is perfectly made in infirmity. Therefore gladly I shall glory in mine infirmities, that the virtue of Christ dwell in me. WYC 1382

Was the boy and isolated? No! Was the Man? Yes! Were the pigs? No!

Was the boy aggressive? No! Was the man? Yes! Were the pigs? Yes!

Was the boy self-harming? Yes! Was the man? Yes! Did the pigs? Yes!

Was the boy a lunatic? Yes! Was the man? Yes! Were the pigs? Yes! - All characteristics of SIN.

Romans 7:15-20 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is SIN living in me that does it. WYC 1382

When Jesus taught the lesson about plucking out ones eye, or cutting off ones hand, what was He teaching? "Many members," individual SIN, demons needing to be CAST OUT, belonging to a body. SIN. I pray my readers can see what has been missing in our doctorines.

Matthew 18:8-9 And if thine hand or thy foot cause thee to stumble, cut it off, and cast it away from thee. It is better to thee to enter to life feeble, either crooked, than having twain hands or two feet to be sent into everlasting fire. And if thine eye cause thee to stumble, pull it out, and cast it away from thee. Have you ever wondered how Jesus and Paul taught the same ministry, "many members," when Paul had never met Jesus? - THE SAME SPIRIT!

Jesus and Modern Experiences of Spiritual Affliction:

In Part One I shared a story about a woman named Ashley Baily who believed she was Jesus and Illuminati who slit her boyfriend's throat. I also shared my person story of the time a spirit claiming to be God "came to me and said," "Put a bullet in Chewy's head." Chewy, who was my boyfriend at the time was asleep when the "voice came to me."

Imagine being told to murder by an invisible voice claiming to be God. These are things that Jesus faced in Matthew 4 when He was led into the wilderness by a spirit to isolation, (Matthew 4:1) just like the man in Luke 8 was led into the solitary places by Legion. He held a conversation with an invisible voice in this story too, one that was instructing Him to act out certain odd things, like turning stones into bread. (Matthew 4:3) This is something we see in psychosis patients today, with complaints that demons or other voices are instructing them to act out certain odd things as well. What they need is for someone to show them what they are experiencing is the foundation of Jesus' teachings.

He was SEIZED by Satan and TAKEN to the holy city where Satan SET (CONTROL) Him on the highest point of the Temple. Satan then instructed Him to commit suicide, which is SIN. "Throw yourself down." (Matthew 4:5-6) The boy in Mark 9 too was "SEIZED" so that he was "thrown into the fire." (Mark 9:17-18) Consider what that would have looked like to those who were standing around the Temple at the time. You see, we always say that Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, (Matthew 4:2) but when Satan SET Him on the pinnacle of the Temple, (Matthew 4:5) He was no longer in the wilderness. There would have been many people around the Temple. You can assume that someone saw Him. Imagine a man standing on the edge of a New York skyscraper, ready to jump. What would you think about him? Mental illness, am I right? Jesus also saw visions of all the Kingdoms of the world in a moment's time. (Matthew 4:8) How could that be?

Patients with psychosis often experience vivid and sometimes disturbing images or scenes in their minds that can feel as real as watching a movie, even though their eyes are open. Science suggests this phenomenon occurs because the brain struggles to differentiate between reality and these hallucinations. This symptom is a hallmark of schizophrenia, manifesting as visual, auditory, or other sensory hallucinations. These experiences can be very vivid and lifelike. They are real to the person experiencing them. I have even found a poem expressing the tear between the good and evil auditory voices and the visions of the mind titled, "The Movie in my Mind."

Was Jesus' experience real? Yes, it was. What about those experiencing it today? Yes, their experience is just as real as the boy's in Matthew 17, the man in Mark 5, and Jesus'.
