In this competition, the contestants were treated to a tasty dinner, unlimited drinks, and their best jokes. They had to bring their A-game for this major moment in the competition. Once they all awkwardly stammered into the mic for an hour, it was time to move to the next room and show off their bowling skills. They all found bowling to be way more funny than the comedy set.

Sims 4: To Love or Not Challenge

This challenge was inspired by the not so berry challenge by lilsimsie and alwaysimming

Gen 1: Purple You and your best friend do everything together. Growing up you go on double dates and live together until to you get married at which point you become next door neighbors. That’s probably why their betrayal is so bitter, but family comes first so you do your best to patch up your marriage after you spouse cheats with your best friend.

Required Traits: Family-Oriented, Art Lover, Jealous

­Career: Stay-at-home parent

Aspiration: Lord/Lady of the Knits

Goals:

-Master the knitting and painting skills

-Stay married to your spouse even after they cheat with your best friend

-Become enemies with your former best friend and their spouse

 Gen 2:  Light Blue You are a modern day Juliet/Romeo and as the tradition goes, you’ve fallen in love with the child of your parents mortal enemy. After eloping you run away to another world together and what better place than near the water! You tend to drown your sorrows by cleaning up the beach, making friends with the locals, and writing children’s books

Required traits: Romantic, Childish, Child of the Ocean

Career: Conservationist

Aspiration: Curator Aspiration

Goals:

-Don’t talk to or visit your parents until your first child is born

-Reach level 10 of the Conservationist career

- Master the charisma and writing skill

-Complete the frog collection

 Gen 3: Neon Pink

You grew up seeing your parent’s perfect relationship which has made you desire the perfect love also only love doesn’t seem to go the best for you. Thankfully you have your best friend around to cry on their shoulder. Tired of looking for love you make a pact that if you are still not married by the time you are Adults you will marry each other. 

Required traits: Hot-Headed, Dance Machine, Squeamish

Career: Mixologist

Aspiration: Serial Romantic

Goals:

-Complete serial romantic aspiration

- Marry and divorce 2 other sims before marrying your best friend

- Reach level 10 of the Mixologist Career

- Go out to the club at least once a week until you are married

-Master Dance and DJ skill

Gen 4: Brown

You think love is useless and only leads people to do stupid things. Your parents always told you their story as if it was amazing, but you really see that love is a lie. The only things that bring you joy are being mean, running and coffee, oh and pawning off all the household chores to others.

Required traits: Active, Mean, Non-committal

Career: See Goal

Aspiration: Renaissance Sim

Goals:

-Max fitness skill and achieve level 8 in 5 other skills

-Change career every time you get a pop-up one asking you or every time the non-committal trait makes you tense

-Don’t have any long-term relationships. The next heir is the result of a one-night stand.

 Gen 5: Amber

Your parent hated almost everyone. After you became a teen, they locked you in the house to prevent you from finding love. Bored with nothing to do all day you seem to spend all day just trying to find something to keep you busy. Maybe that’s why Rapunzel is your favorite fairy tale. One day while your parent is away, someone knocks on the door and seeing your chance for escape you use your handiness skills to lock-pick the door and escape. Once out, nothing can hold you back.

 Required traits: Bookworm, Bro, Genius

Career: Astronaut

Aspiration: Nerd Brain

Goals:

-After reaching level 5 handiness, escape your house after a sim knocks on the door while your parent was away. Run away and move into their household (lock the door for everyone except parent sim to help stop them from going to school)

-Begin your career after you run away

-No computer or phone (unless you are using a mod for home school) until they run away

-Master Handiness, cooking, and rocket science skill

-Complete nerd brain aspiration

 Gen 6: Rose Gold (This generation was inspired by Sydney Macoretta)

Growing up you were obsessed with movies. Now you are working to become a star yourself and what better way to hype your name than become a reality TV star? During the day you might be staring in movies but at night you are the star of the Bachelor/Bachelorette. 

Required traits: Self-Assured, High Maintenance, Ambitious

Career: Actor

Aspiration: Soulmate

Goals:

-Start off with 5-7 potential spouses and move them in the house with you. On Tuesday and Thursday vote off the losers from the show. You can choose the losers however you would like. (Looks, skills, relationship with the heir, longest alive). Marry the last one standing

-Reach level 10 of the acting career

-Reach level 10 of at least 2 instruments and singing

 Gen 7: Green

Everyone seems so down to Earth but you want something more. You travel and move constantly looking for that spark. You also try to find it by creating crazy outfits for sims but that doesn’t seem to work. Finally, you start hanging out with occult sims and find they are much cooler and a way more interesting muse. Maybe all you really need is someone who is your opposite.

 Required trait(s): Gloomy, Goofball, Slob

Career: Style Influencer

Aspiration: Friend of the World

Goals:

-Marry an occult sim when an Adult

-Spouse must have either the cheerful or neat trait

-Reach level 10 of the style influencer career

-Live in at least 4 different worlds during your lifetime

- Max the photography and Comedy skills

 Gen 8: Grey

Your parents were a little odd which made you a bit of an outcast. So maybe that’s why you became a criminal. And while you kidnap family members of the people that annoy you (they can be any age), you are nice to them and do your best to keep them happy and entertained. You even keep a garden so the food they eat is always made with fresh ingredients. One of those people you’ve kidnapped just happens to be the most amazing person you ever met and maybe Stockholm syndrome was involved but maybe they start to love you back.

 Required trait(s): Kleptomaniac, Paranoid/Materialistic, Clumsy

Career: Criminal

Aspiration: Public Enemy

Goals:

-Have at least 8 enemies

- “Kidnap” the offspring of the sims who annoy you and hold them hostage in your house until you steal something from their house. (When you leave the lot the sims will leave your house. I recommend adding them into your household temporarily then moving them back out once the debt is repaid)

-Fall in love with one of the people you kidnap and marry them

-Reach level 10 of the criminal career

-Reach level 10 of the mischief, gardening skill, and baking skills

-live on a lot that has the simple living challenge trait

 Gen 9: Red

Your parent is a notorious criminal which means all the kids fear you. You only have 1 friend who you hang out with. There is one kid though who is mean to you all the time and they continue to bully you through high school. When you are a young adult you decide you want to make more friends, so you join a club and guess who is there? That’s right your childhood bully but they have changed, and wow are they attractive now!

Required traits: Glutton, Perfectionist, Insider

Career: Lawyer

Aspiration: Inner Peace

Goals:

-Have an enemy in childhood and teen years who you end up marrying

-Join a club and attend meetings once a week

-Reach level 10 of the lawyer career

- Complete the Inner Peace aspiration

-Reach Max level in Wellness, and Gourmet Cooking skills

  Gen 10: Indigo

While the rest of your family is out looking for love, you just want to play you video games all day and maybe go finishing once your eyes get tired. You do however get tired of beating all the random online players all the time. That is until you meet a fellow geek with just as much video game prowess that maybe you are a little impressed.

Required trait(s): Geek, Loner

Career: Tech Guru

Aspiration: Angling Ace

Goals:

-Work in the tech guru career and go into the e-sports gamer branch

-Marry a sim with the Geek trait

-Master Gaming, Programming, and Fishing Skills

With Cicely gone and the twins at Uni, we are officially on to Gen 3. Tracey and Maddy have always been close and are both feeling a little lost right now, so they decided to stick together. The house felt too big, too empty, and too expensive to stay in, so they decided to move.

Tracey always felt most at home at her hideout, so she decided to move there. Maddy didn’t want to live in a shed, so they agreed to build a house (aka download a Sydney Macoretta build). I’ve been dying to use her gamer house since I watched her stream, so I tailored it to fit the girls. 

As per tradition, they moved during crappy weather, but Maddy didn’t seem to mind. Once they got settled in they both decided they needed jobs. Tracey already knew she wanted to be a bartender, so she applied right away. Maddy watched Tracey and decided she wanted to do something similar, but wanted to go the culinary route, so for now, they’ll be working together.

Magnolia wasn’t surprised when she was eliminated. Disappointed, yes. Surprised, no. She was glad she at least got it in one last time before she left. We’ll see in a few days if she went home with a souvenir...

Our soft boy Tanner had to say goodbye to the Reality House and the competition. I’m going to miss seeing his sweet face ambling about the manision :( 

So our finalists are going to be powerhouse Shana, our sneaky seductress Ava, and cunning little Luca.

What will the producers have them do to earn their prize? Who is going to take it all? We’ll have to wait and see!

Yoga really did change the mood in the house. Everyone started getting busy afterwards!

Despite already knowing who won, the producers got all of the contestants together for a formal ceremony and one last awards ceremony. Shana was crowned the winner. 

Despite Luca’s inability to grasp skiing and snowboarding, he still came in second overall in the skills competition, leaving Ava in third. It didn’t matter though, because Luca finally got the guts to ask Ava to be official with him and they agreed on combining whatever prize money they won. Ava had truly fallen in love with Luca and was ready to build a life together with him...mansion or not. In the end, they both won too. 

This brings our challenge to an end. It was short and sweet, but so much fun! Anything that takes the control out of my hands! I love it when the sims just do what they want to do and not knowing what the conclusion is going to be. It’s fun to see what they get up to when you’re not controlling their every move.

Ava got injured during her climb and was unable to complete it, allowing Shana to take her time and successfully complete the climb. Ava was devastated. Shana was a bit in shock that she had actually won. 

The contestants returned to their lodging to unwind and relax. They spent the evening playing Don’t Wake the Llama by the fire and enjoying each other’s company. Despite knowing they had lost, Ava & Luca knew this would be the last night the three of them would be together and wanted to enjoy it. They had all gotten so close during the last few weeks (some more than others) and they knew they were going to miss all being together.

Once everyone was too tired to carry on, Ava went to her room and cried herself to sleep. Luca seemed a bit indifferent to the whole thing, knowing he won regardless from meeting Ava and is secretly hoping they can continue their romance outside of the house. Shana on the other hand went to bed smiling. Her eco dream was about to come true. She never expected to win, let alone have the means to start an eco revolution.

Days 3 and 4 were much in the same, except they had to take their skills to an actual slope. Ava decided she hated skiing, but loved snowboarding. Shana almost took out Simeon Silversweater who stood at the bottom of the hill in everyone’s path for literally hours! The group finished their days warming up with a nice hot pot. Lilith Vatore popped by for a bite but got distracted and joined them in their conversation lol.

The contestants started out on the Bunny Hill to try and get their “snow legs” on a pair of skis. It was a lot more difficult than any of them anticipated, though Shana seemed to be a natural. She only fell a couple of times. Poor Luca didn’t make it down once without falling. Needless to say, they all went home pretty sore.
