If I had a nickel for every dimension-hopping story revolving around childhood friends (lovers, perhaps) with multiple versions of themselves running around, being separated and desperately trying to find each other, with the boy unknowingly harboring a great evil within himself, and the girl being needed in the bad guy’s plot to resurrect a lost loved one, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

── ✦ CLAMP "BROKEN TABLET" ART GAME - RESULTS! ✦ ── Hello! This is the result of the art game we did! ── ✦ ✦ ✦ ── What is the "broken tablet" game? "Broken tablet" - it's an art game, an art version of so-called "telephone game". All the artists draw one by one, and each of them should draw their version of the previous artist's artwork. The participants do not see each other's art until the challenge is over! They can only see a blurred/pixelated art of the previous artist. This time the event was dedicated to the Clamp universe, so we all drew fanarts of different Clamp characters. It's very intriguing to watch how the picture changes during the process, and how the characters on it change! I love how we collected here both TRC! and CCS! If there is ANY manga that deserves a rebooted anime it's CLAMP's massive multiverse action adventure series "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles"

Fantastically developed cast of main characters with a gripping, multiverse spanning adventure through CLAMP's entire catalogue of worlds and characters at the time, with plenty of action, romance, queer themes, horror, comedy and tragedy.

This is a story that deserves to be told in full with beautiful animation to match the manga's gorgeous art, with a fresh coat of polish.
