So, I've been playing around in SW:TOR and I made my version of the Outlander for my fanfics.

He's a Jedi Guardian-turned-Sith Sorcerer, and he turns to the Dark Side upon the Eternal Empire's invasion of the Galaxy. He meant to rebel against the Empire's grasp on the Galaxy, but instead turned on the Alliance he once led and became the Eternal Empire's new Emperor.

I have been working on several more time consuming watercolour pieces. I decided to do one quicker piece for a change. With this one I didn't care about details or mistakes too much, so it was nice to paint.

Vaylin is an interesting character and I absolutely loved her first design!

Eight has two Odux mounts whomst he received as gifts from Zakuulan locals on his travels; these two beasts produce milk and cheese, so he regularly makes those products and occasionally sells them to fund his wanderings around the countryside of Wild Space.

That is not their only purpose; given the necessity of a spy to travel abroad without raising suspicion, Eight was tasked with gathering espionage for the Alliance and scouting potential allied villages/difficult-to-reach enclaves while under the guise of an oddjobs nomadic mercenary for hire. Due to the Eternal Empire's aggressive advancement in tech, it was a unanimous decision for him to go with relatively little technology in order to avoid surveillance, save for the occasional radio and report. As a result, Eight spent most of his time living on the back of his animals and caravan-ing to parts most remote while adapting to life on the move.

Being from a semi-nomadic culture himself, Eight took to never staying in one place and gathering reconnaissance from the locals like a fish to water--even building a mobile house-like structure atop his beasts so he could sleep in the saddle while the Odux' were on the move. Lana's mobile Intelligence did come into fruition...though not in the way she expected. No one could deny the efficacy of an operative permanently out in the field however, and it was approved for Eight to carry out his work like so and as he saw fit, becoming one of the most vital pieces of Alliance intelligence due to being largely invisible to a high-tech Empire.

I just finished KOTET so here are my thoughts:

The story was really good! I think the shorter story (in terms of chapter number) helped a lot. KOTFE was good but started to drag in the middle, and toward the end. KOTET had decent pace throughout.

Fuck the walker segments.

Also, fuck BioWare for making me fight Vaylin TWICE, and the second time, w Arcann, she was at her full max health. Arcann had ~220,000 health in that fight. Vaylin still had 1.3 MILLION. Absolutely absurd. It took me like, 4 tries in the her and Arcann fight. Eventually I just stood w my back to a wall so she couldn't throw me around as much, and that worked, but by god, it was a drag. If they had knocked her health down a little -- even to like, 750k -- it would've been better.

The final Valkorion battle was a lot more fun, thank god. I liked the force-switching, even though I wish it had more abilities on the hotbar, or a few more interesting ones.

I chose to save Torian, btw. I love Vette so much, but I figured than in lore, Thali would choose Torian bc he's a Mandalorian, and the Alliance couldn't afford to lose the support of the Manda'lor herself. It was a quick decision, it was made with the galaxy's best interests at heart, but Thali is torn up with guilt over Vette dying.

I'm thinking about the Nathema arc again

Specifically, Zakuul.

They spent years aiding and abetting Arcann and Vaylin's tyrannical rule, so you know the Imps and Pubs would dearly love to serve them some sweet justice pie.

And they just had to "declare independence" from the only power that would have stood up for them.

Wonder if we'll get a letter someday where Zakuul is begging us to come back and save them from the pounding they're getting
