Well, hello, different anon (you shall be henceforth be known as "Sword Anon" since you brought your liege a wondrous sword - thank you for that btw, love it!)

And of course you get a snippet! This is from a oneshot Larissa x Reader fic where I am playing around with the soulmate marks trope- and of course making it suuuuuuuper angsty because duh. Angst Fairy and all of that.

“It-” Larissa swallowed, as if it had become suddenly difficult to talk “-It doesn’t have to come out. Nobody would have to know. It would be as if this conversation never took place.” You closed your eyes, and tried to breathe through the pain. Expecting rejection from your soulmate didn’t even start to prepare you for how excruciating it was. A dirty secret. A conversation that never happened. That was all your bond would amount to. Of course.

Current wordcount: 1800w - Expected wordcount: around 4000w? Working title: Soulmates fic (I know, I know, I will find a better one once I work on it some more)

Thinking of someone holding back burps all day long, stuffing their face and clapping hands over their mouth anytime they so much as think air's coming up their throat. It's not until they go to bed that it begins.

idk if this is what you were going for, but this reminded me of this post i made not too long ago hahaha!!

i just love the idea of girls being so worried about being polite and retaining their image throughout the day, only to completely let their guard down at night (even if they don't realize it.) the two things that would make this even better in my opinion are 1. if she has no memory of burping throughout the night when she wakes up in the morning and 2. if she has a partner that she unknowingly keeps up with her burps (but her partner doesn't mind one bit.)

you all know how much i love confident burpy girls, but sword anon is definitely making me fall harder than before for shy burpy girls...

Short and shy girl gets dragged to a frat party by her friends and coaxed into a burping contest with a bunch of guys. The moment she takes a single sip of her beer she lets loose with the biggest, deepest, most table-shaking belch ever heard in the halls of that fraternity. And suddenly all the guys regret letting her go first.

(She doesn't tell anyone she's been holding that burp in for the last 10 minutes.)

YES YES YES!!!! y'all know me so well because i LOVE prompts like these.

usually i talk about burpy women who are confident in their burpiness on this blog, but in this case i think i might like a shy girl better. like the reason she had been holding in that burp for the last ten minutes was out of politeness. she truly was pressured into joining that contest, and the last thing she wanted or even expected was to win it with a burp that big. maybe that confidence will come later, but for now, she can't help but burn with embarrassment after her display, even though everyone else in the room can't stop screaming about how much of a beast she is.

You ever think about how wild of a time Hades is having in SOH? This man learns his wife went and made him a sword, she then proceeded to lose the sword, she kidnapped his son and his nephew and his niece, his nephew almost died on this quest and Hades can almost hear Poseidon yelling about this, this kid somehow memory wiped a Titan but all three of the kids are suspiciously silent about just how he managed to pull this off and also they won’t explain how they crossed the Lethe because Hades knows the geography of his domain and he knows from their description that they would’ve had to cross it at some point but somehow all three turn deaf when asked, and this memory-wiped Titan who thinks his name is Bob and who Hades can distinctly recall trying to murder him and his siblings on behalf of their father who ate them is now Hades’s problem. Before Hades can say so much as a syllable about how actually, if you memory wipe the Titan then the Titan is your problem, all three leave. This all happens within like 5 minutes.

Hades is the embodiment of the mental math meme. This guy had three powerhouses of kids (one of which is his!) show up, drop all this on him, then just dip before he can really give his stance on it all- and to top it all off he's pretty sure his son stole money to buy burgers.

He's having a difficult five minutes for sure.
