this is barely even related to the ask, isn’t it? sorry, icyphilosopher, i really am (thank you so much for the inspiration though). well, my excuse is i watched Queen & Slim (it was alright, the soundtrack might be the best part. that and Daniel Kaluuya) and felt like crime today.
Tumblr media
The private jet has barely taken off when Rosé starts taking her clothes off, starting from the black heels, then proceeding with the black cropped blazer, the high-waisted black shorts, along with the belt and the chains attached to them, the polka dot black shirt, and finishing with the black stockings and her black underwear. She puts them all in a black trash bag and throws herself on the beige leather sofa face first, completely naked.
“Fuck this ‘No fires on the plane’ rule.” She complains into the beige pillow.
“I mean, if you want to burn them now and cause a fire, making the jet collapse on itself and getting us buried on the bottom of the northern Pacific, go ahead.” You reply nonchalantly as you take a sip of vodka while sitting cross-legged on one of the beige armchairs.
“Honestly, compared to the prospect of a ten-hour flight with you, that doesn’t even sound that bad”
It’s Rosé’s habit to burn clothes, phones, cars, (people,) anything that can be linked to her in a meaningful way, after every job. This time it was a fairly straightforward drug trade with this Yakuza syndicate in Osaka: give the talcum powder, take the money, go home. The road was somewhat bumpy and a couple heads had to pop, but what can you do. Oh, and the getting naked in front of you part, that was a thing way before you two started fucking.
You stand up from your seat and duck next to the couch as she turns her head towards you. Start caressing her smooth, long blonde hair as you admire her graceful features. How could such a cold, brutal criminal look so angelic?
“Are you in a hurry?”
“Leave no trace.” She recites her mantra matter-of-factly.
“You think someone’s on our trail?”
You lay on top of her and start kissing her shoulders, from the left, then move her hair to kiss her neck, to the right, and back a couple times.
“Someone’s always on your trail.” Your kisses start heading down her back, each a little wetter than the previous. “You know how it always ends with people like us, right?”
You think you hear Rosé’s voice break for a split second, but you could be wrong. Place your hands on her shoulders and start slowly making little circles with your thumbs as you keep traveling down.
“We get greedy and scared and die sad and alone?”
“We always trust one person too many”
As your trail of kisses gets to her lower back, right above the curve of her ass, you flip her body around. Bend her legs on her chest, then start massaging each foot with one of your hands, going from the middle of her soles, to her heels, to the balls of her feet, untangling her muscle fibers all the way through. You hear her humming in the meantime.
“So? Would you stop living your life for that?”
“I would try my best not to end my life because of that.” You bring her feet to your mouth and start pecking her toes, then travel down the inside of her feet and up again kissing her soles. “Plus, it gives me a sense of peace, of liberation”
“Ashes to ashes?”
“In that analogy, I would be… God?”
Take a long lick from her heel to the ball of her foot, ending by wrapping your lips around her big toe and licking all around it.
“Do you feel like one?”
“I don’t think God sees himself like we see him” She moves her other foot towards your mouth to signal you to switch, which you do, as your hands reach towards her small breasts and start softly playing with her rosy nipples. “Powerful men need people to adore them to feel immortal. Immortals don’t need our attention to be powerful”
“You think God is a woman?”
“I think God is a depressed fuck.”
You let out a chuckle. Then lower her knees again and place yourself between them to start kissing and licking her wonderful, sculpted abs. Your right hand almost instinctively starts lightly rubbing her already wet outer lips, your left grabbing her plump asscheek.
“What a short couple billion years alone in the button room could do to ya”
“But honestly, working on the wrong side of the law… I think it’s hard not to feel like one” She starts panting a little in between words.
“Ego?” Your mouth slowly travels down her lower stomach while your fingers play with her nub.
“Just, pure facts. I could kill a man that crosses my path at any time, and I have. Mmmmh. We just, own their lives. The decision to let them live on, or to end them, right then and there. It’s all ours. Yeahh- How do you not feel all-powerful when you have that?”
It becomes hard for her to complete a sentence without any moans in between.
“Does it matter?”
“W-What?”
Rosé’s focus is probably directed away from the conversation, and towards the feeling of your fingers opening her lips wide and your tongue taking one long lick from the bottom of her slit up to her sensitive clit.
“I don’t know them. Are decisions over the lives of people you don’t care about even worth making?”
You take several shorter licks around her slit, side to side, up and down, once in a while penetrating her hole slightly.
“What do y-youh care about?”
As her moans become longer and more frequent, her sentences become simpler and shorter.
“Right now, taking my money home”
Your tongue digs deep into her pussy, you try to reach every corner and crevice of her heat with it, and her whimpers tell you you’re doing a pretty good job at it.
“And th-en, what?”
Your mouth detaches from her right as she sounds like she’s going to give in. You get on your knees and pause for a second, looking at the empty floor of the plane.
“...I don’t know, a legacy?”
“Villains have no legacy, they only leave bloody paper and hate behind them”
You get back down to face her, staring right down Rosé’s deep brown orbs. Your fingers return to her lower lips, and two of them make their way into her slippery walls, drawing a loud groan off of her. You start pumping in and out of her at an ever increasing pace.
“Love. I want someone to come back home to, to be there, waiting for me, to heal my wounds.” She’s now moaning right in your face, her pitch getting higher and higher, signaling her impending high, but her eyes are wide open and locked on yours. “To be able to spend time with, in silence, without it feeling awkward, not needing to worry about the future, just looking at her in the eyes, and, being in love.”
A few final pumps and Rosé starts repeatedly contracting around you, a stream of unholy water covering your entire hand and wrist in a profane coating, only a deep, tongue-filled kiss muting her screams as she finally can’t keep her eyes open anymore. You close yours with her as her arms wrap around your neck. The kiss lasts far longer than the already lengthy while she takes to recover from her strong orgasm. As both of you stare into each other’s pupils again, you’re the first to talk.
“How do you know when you’ve found what you’re looking for?”
“I don’t know. I think I’ll start from, looking at the junk I’ve collected on my way, before burning it”

WIP Wednesday
Thank you for the tag @catanisspicy . Please have something very very hot off the press. 🤎
Gutiérrez switches on the light, illuminating oak laminate cabinets, beige floral tiling and a matching tile-top kitchen island upon which tightly-packed rectangular parcels of beige-tinted powder are stacked in brickwork formation.
Carlos' eyes pop at the sight of it. "Are you serious?"
“Oh, relax. What do you think I do here all day – listen to true crime podcasts and make friendship bracelets?” Gutiérrez swipes an upside-down sepia glass coffee pot from the drying rack. In reaction, a stack of ceramic plates and cutlery collapses in a cacophonous domino effect. He ignores it. “Anyway, it’s flour. Decoy drop this evening should get moles out of the hole. That’s what your daddy used to say.” Gutiérrez gestures behind Carlos. Sure enough, on the countertop next to a retro-looking brown microwave, there are several empty packets of King Arthur unbleached, covered in their own dust. “My requisition didn’t go through, though, so I’m out of pocket,” Gutiérrez continues, grizzling. “But Costco loves me. The checkout girl probably thinks I’m some master baker.”
Carlos watches Gutiérrez hunt around in a drawer for a fresh filter for the coffee machine, which is as equally ancient as the microwave, the fridge, and the sink. Such can be the austerity of public-funded undercover ops. Carlos wishes he didn’t like Gutiérrez. Thanks to the nature of his own job, and his father’s job – which included the whistle-blowing of corruption within the auspices of the Texas Rangers – virtually everyone in his life occupies a dangerous position. Tomorrow, he could read in The Austin Chronical about a man called Pablo Martinez being gunned down in Chicano Park. A narcotics drop gone lethal. Carlos would have to grit his teeth while buttoning his shirt in the locker room at the precinct, hearing colleagues laugh and jaunt about another falcon removed from the streets.
“Take a seat,” Gutiérrez says, “Here, I’ll move a few of these out of your way.” He bundles up a dozen of the decoy parcels and dumps them next to a ceramic cookie jar shaped like a football.

Shuu Tsukiyama
Tumblr media
Switch Rion
Resin Color: Powder Beige
Painted by Komorebi Dolls
Doll specific images are here. Character specific images are here.
Story Universe: Tokyo Ghoul
Within my little imaginings for the Tokyo Ghoul universe, Shuu is the same as he is is the anime/manga series (you know…a bit unhinged and obsessed with Ken, all that good stuff). Only difference is his relationship with my character Michelle. For several years they’ve had a very Will They Won’t They type of relationship.
Shuu very much cares for and just outright adores Michelle and has since they were kids and she was first brought to live within the Tsukiyama household. Unfortunately, due to her own conflicting feelings regarding him and how she ended up living with the Tsukiyama family, she pretty consistently pushes him away when he does show his deep affection for her.
They do eventually properly get together. Only takes Shuu going into a deep depression and bout of anorexia for Michelle to realize her feelings for him trump any other issues she has.
While Shuu is very much happy and in love with Michelle, he also has an unrequited love for Ken as well. There’s some amount of jealousy regarding Ken at first with Michelle, but eventually it becomes a bit of a long-standing joke between the couple about Ken being Shuu’s side piece (complete with Michelle referring to Shuu as “our boyfriend” or “our husband” when speaking with Ken).

Enhancing Your Outdoor Space with Outdoor Lounges in Sydney
Tumblr media
Sydney’s sunny weather and beautiful outdoor landscapes make it the perfect city to embrace outdoor living. Whether you have a sprawling backyard, a cosy balcony, or a poolside patio, outdoor lounges in Sydney can transform your space into a comfortable and stylish retreat. Investing in high-quality outdoor furniture not only adds aesthetic value but also provides a functional area where you can relax, entertain guests, and enjoy the great outdoors.
The Appeal of Outdoor Lounges
Outdoor lounges are more than just a place to sit—they are an extension of your home’s living space. With modern designs, comfortable seating options, and durable materials, outdoor lounges in Sydney have become increasingly popular as homeowners seek to create functional yet luxurious outdoor environments.
The versatility of outdoor lounges allows you to create a personalised space that reflects your style. From sleek, minimalist designs to cosy, plush seating, there are endless options to suit various tastes. Whether you prefer a contemporary look with clean lines or a more traditional aesthetic with woven textures, outdoor lounges can help you achieve your desired look.
Designing Your Outdoor Lounge Space
When designing your outdoor lounge area, the first thing to consider is the available space. Outdoor lounges come in a range of sizes and configurations, making it easy to find pieces that fit perfectly into your outdoor area, whether you have a small balcony or a large patio.
For smaller spaces, a compact outdoor lounge set can provide comfortable seating without overwhelming the area. Modular lounges are a great option as they allow flexibility in arranging seating, making the most of limited space. For larger areas, consider sectional outdoor lounges that can accommodate more people, perfect for social gatherings or family get-togethers.
In Sydney’s outdoor-centric culture, many people use their outdoor lounge areas for entertaining guests. To create a welcoming atmosphere, complement your lounge with accessories like outdoor rugs, throw pillows, and side tables. Adding greenery, such as potted plants or vertical gardens, can further enhance the natural beauty of the space while adding a sense of tranquility.
Durability and Materials
The city’s climate, with its hot summers and occasional rainy days, requires outdoor furniture to be both weather-resistant and durable. When choosing outdoor lounges, it’s essential to select materials that can withstand these elements without compromising on comfort or style.
Popular materials for outdoor lounges include weather-resistant wicker, powder-coated steel, and treated wood. Synthetic wicker is a top choice for many Sydney homeowners due to its classic look and resistance to the sun and rain. Aluminium and steel frames are durable and lightweight, while timber offers a natural and rustic appeal, perfect for blending with the surrounding environment.
To maximise the lifespan of your outdoor lounges, opt for UV-resistant cushions and fabrics that can withstand the harsh Australian sun without fading. Waterproof cushions and removable covers are also practical for easy maintenance and cleaning.
Comfort Meets Style
While durability is important, comfort should not be sacrificed when selecting outdoor lounges. The right furniture can turn your outdoor area into a haven for relaxation. Look for lounges with deep seating and plush cushions that offer support and comfort. Reclining options and lounges with adjustable backrests provide additional versatility, allowing you to switch between casual seating and a more laid-back lounging position.
Adding a mix of textures and colors through cushions and throws can also enhance the comfort of your outdoor lounge while creating a visually appealing design. Neutral tones, such as beige, grey, or white, provide a sophisticated base, while bright accent colors like teal, orange, or yellow can inject energy and personality into your space.
The Benefits of Outdoor Living
Outdoor lounges in Sydney offer more than just a stylish addition to your home. They encourage outdoor living, allowing you to enjoy fresh air and natural light, which can positively impact your well-being. Spending time outdoors has been linked to reduced stress levels and improved mood, making your outdoor lounge area not only a functional space but also a sanctuary for mental and physical relaxation.
Furthermore, an inviting outdoor lounge area can increase the value of your property. Potential buyers often appreciate outdoor spaces that are well-designed and equipped for relaxation and entertaining, making your investment in outdoor furniture a wise one.
Bottom-line
Outdoor lounges in Sydney are an excellent way to enhance your outdoor living space, combining comfort, style, and functionality. By selecting the right materials, design, and layout, you can create an inviting outdoor area that serves as an extension of your home. Whether for entertaining guests or simply unwinding after a long day, an outdoor lounge can elevate your lifestyle and make the most of Sydney’s beautiful climate. With the right outdoor lounge furniture, your outdoor space can become a place of comfort, beauty, and relaxation.

Business Formals for Women in India, Tips to Create Ideal Business Attire & Mistakes to Avoid
One aspect of India's diversity that stands out is the variety of clothes that Indian women can wear to work. There are several alternatives available to ladies in India for formal attire, ranging from elegant traditional ensembles to stylish Western formals. Wearing stylish yet functional clothing at work gives you more confidence.
Choosing the proper business formals for women in the office is a difficulty you can barely escape. But, in contrast to what many people think, you don't need a separate wardrobe to look your best for work. All you have to do is pull together an outfit that quickly displays stylish competence.
Tumblr media
How To Create The Ideal Attire for Business Formals for Women in India
Choose your formal wear.
Indian fashion is well known for offering a wide range of alternatives for formal attire. Best business formals for women are Indian traditional attire, such as sarees, salwar suits, kurtis, and leggings, or Western formal attire, such as gowns, shirts, pants, blouses, and skirts, which are your options. You can switch between these as you see fit; each has its attraction. Are you searching for traditional wear? Buy Indian traditional dress online from The Jaipur Loom.
Get the fit
Selecting formal clothing only gets you so far. Finding the ideal formal outfits for women is more important. You never knew you needed the style magic of altered clothing. Individuals have developed a habit of grabbing items of clothing off the rack and wearing them to work without giving little fitting details any thought. Since each body type is different, your clothing should fit like it was designed for you. Get the bottoms cut to give you a clean, trim look, and the tops or Kurtis tweaked to fit your body shape.
Tumblr media
Select your hues.
Selecting colours that work well elevates your professional style. Choose colours that soothe the eyes, such as pastels, powdered tints, blacks, beiges, blues, and browns. A few solid and vivid colours may also make a statement regarding fashion if worn easily.
Match your shoes
Women's formal attire is complete, with the appropriate shoes to go with it. The hardest decision, though, is usually what best complements the ensemble. Pointed heels, or stilettos, are a favourite in the workplace, and they look elegant in thin pants and a shirt. Conversely, platform heels or strappy sandals look great when paired with an Indian traditional ensemble.
Add accessories to amp it up.
The appropriate accessories may give your workwear a new depth. It's the best thing to boost your individuality. A little change goes a long way when it comes to jewellery. Select timeless solitaires and stud earrings, and choose delicate necklaces. To make perfect business formals for women, wear a bracelet and a stylish watch, and you'll crush the business glam look.
Compliment with a bag
Your bag of choice plays a significant role in power dressing. When it comes to expressing their personal style, ladies speak for themselves. A stylish and capacious bag that fits well with business attire is essential, as it should hold files or a notepad. A boxy, structured bag or a satchel would be a good choice after a tote bag because they both convey a serious vibe. Briefcase bags are also useful if you want to project sophistication.
Tumblr media
Types of Business Formals for Women to Amplify the Look
If you're a woman wondering whether jobs require formal attire, do some online study before your first day of work. Explore the company website and photos of the work environment. These publications frequently provide helpful pointers regarding strict dress code requirements. Business formals for women are typically worn in the fields of broadcast media, politics, and law.
Indian Business Formals for Women
Below are some business formals that Indian Wear offers for women.
Sarees:
Sarees are a suitable formal wear for women. You can wear chic sarees to dress up for work or any formal occasion. Women can use Pallu to drape the saree over their left shoulder. Even the most expensive formal wear from the West can't match with sarees. Be careful to wear them correctly. Formal sarees look better with solid, pastel colours and simple themes than complex patterns and vivid colours.
Kurtas:
Kurtas look well with pants, jeggings, leggings, or dress slacks. They provide a more polished look for older adults and girls. Kurtas appear stylish and current and come in a variety of lengths. Skin-tight kurtas are not appropriate for formal attire for women. Select muted hues for a formal occasion, such as off-white and light browns. A-line kurtas are the best business formals for women. Buy A-line kurta for women at the best prices from The Jaipur Loom.
Tumblr media
Western Women's Formal Wear Options
Long Dresses:
Dresses are an essential and frequent component of business formals for women. Women worldwide adore and wear them. Similar to sarees, dresses are a complete ensemble. For a formal event, a knee-length dress is appropriate.
plane-themed shirts and pants
The most accessible and popular way for women to appear great in the West is to wear classic plane shirts and pants. This classic garment of formal attire is the perfect example of the classiness  "less is more," and it still works today. The Jaipur Loom is the best place to buy women pants online.
Tumblr media
Additional Tips to Perfect Business Formals for Women
Clothes should be appropriate rather than showy. Avoid wearing bright colours or patterns. Stripes can be a good option.
The number of items has to be kept to an absolute minimum. Avoid anything too flashy or bold.
Keep your makeup as natural as possible; go for soft tones and natural tints.
Ensure your business clothing is tight enough to maintain a professional appearance. The sleeves and pants should both be in appropriate length. Not too lengthy and too short is perfect.

A few pea protein powders particularly those containing pea protein can cause bloating and cramping on the off chance that you have got bad-tempered bowel disorder
Plant protein diet:
Breakfast:
Overnight oats made from almond milk and chia seeds, topped with flaky almonds and berries.
Plant-based protein shake or smoothie (contains pea protein, almond milk, spinach, and banana).
Snack:
A handful of mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews) and seeds (pumpkin, sunflower).
Lunch:
Quinoa salad with mixed vegetables (bell peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes), black beans, and lemon tahini dressing.
Grilled tofu or tempeh strips for protein.
Snack:
Hummus with carrot and celery sticks.
Dinner:
Lentil curry with brown rice and steamed broccoli.
Grilled portobello mushrooms marinated in balsamic vinegar, served with roasted sweet potatoes.
Snack:
Rice with almond butter and banana slices.
Note:

FEMSLASH FEBRUARY 2020 #25: In which Cameron and Donna dance
[CN: food mentions; grown women referencing their sex lives]
(PREVIOUSLY: #1, #16, #21)
Ultimately, the couch was the hardest thing to find. Cameron wasn’t really sure what she wanted, though naturally, there was a long list of what she didn’t want: nothing overstuffed or with ‘overly big arms,’ nothing too soft, nothing too beige, nothing too floral, nothing ‘too modern,’ and most important of all, “Just, no leather, under any circumstances. It’s ugly and I hate how it feels.”
Cameron also insisted on finding a secondhand couch, which meant weekend after weekend of visiting local thrift stores and flea markets, and then tag and estate sales, and then trying the thrift stores and flea markets again. There was a brief period during which, much to Donna’s frustration, Cameron considered trying to build her own couch (“I mean I’d take a class on it, or something, obviously, Donna!”) and a weekend where Donna finally convinced Cameron to visit a department store showroom and a department store furniture outlet, with no better luck.
They did eventually start to find other things on Cameron’s list, though. At the outlet store, Cameron saw a carnelian-colored rug that made her think of all the red in Donna’s wardrobe, and Donna bought it for her as a gift, despite some protest from Cameron. At a flea market, Cameron found a small bookshelf and a coffee table, and at an estate sale, she and Donna found matching end tables. On a solo weekday trip to a thrift store, Cameron wound up buying a used television and vcr, and they bought lamps at a chain retailer of home goods.
They brought each piece up to the room above the garage as they found it. The carpet proved tricky to get up the stairs, but the rest of the furniture was easy enough to move with each of them carrying one end. Staring at her pile of furniture, Cameron frowned, “I am not looking forward to dealing with the couch. Whenever we find one.”
With a sigh, Donna said, “About that, there is one thing that we haven’t tried: what about independent furniture designers?”
Cameron looked over at her. “You have my attention….”
“Risa has a friend,” Donna said. “An ex.”
“Oooh,” Cameron grinned, “as in, a lady ex?”
“Her name is Lex,” Donna said.
“Lex the Ex,” Cameron said.
“Her showroom is in San Francisco. We could go next weekend,” Donna offered. “It would probably be more expensive than a piece from a department store….”
“…but she’s an artist,” Cameron said, pointedly, “and she works independently. So, we, slash I, don’t mind paying her. Right? If we find something suitable?”
Lex MacDonald was taller, broader, and darker than Cameron, and she co-owned a small store full of furniture with her wife, who was also her partner and upholsterer. She’d been a carpenter for 20 years, made most of her pieces from recycled materials, and she had very large hands. The moment they walked into her store, Donna proceeded to flirt (read: enthusiastically complement and inquire about her work) with her .
Cameron walked around the shop, looking intently at every chest, bench, chair, and end table. There were some pieces made with repurposed leather that nearly made Cameron reconsider her moratorium, but they were all arm chairs. Maybe someday, Cameron thought, moving further into the back of the shop.
In a small section of upholstered, non-leather furniture, Cameron found an olive green l-shaped couch, whose placard said it was upholstered from a wool tweed blend. Something about the couch looked and felt old, like it had already lived a life in an old lady’s humble, middle class living room with other nice but inexpensive furniture. It had clean, straight lines, and sort of resembled that mid-century, Eames-style furniture that Donna loved so much but that always looked too small and too thin to be comfortable to Cameron, except that it didn’t look too thin, but it also didn’t look overstuffed. Gingerly, Cameron tried sitting in the center of the couch. It felt study, and more comfortable than Cameron thought it would.
Donna came to sit down next to her, and Lex followed. “I would give you the hard, ’that’s one of my wife’s favorite pieces’ sell, but, they’re all her favorite pieces. She gets attached to everything, and she has a hard time letting go.”
“Ha!” Donna cackled. “I know what that’s like!”
“Um,” Cameron said, “Do you mind if I lie down? And see if it’s long enough?”
Lex shoved her hands into her pockets and grinned, revealing a slight gap in her two front teeth. “It won’t be, but, sure.”
Donna got up, and went to stand next to Lex, and with a slight frown, Cameron slid off her sneakers, and then swiveled to lie down. She stretched out, and found that it wasn’t long enough, thought it was nice and wide. The arms of the couch were just the right size for Cameron to prop both her head and her feet on them, though. She rested her hands on her stomach, and looked up at the shop’s ceiling. After a minute, she sat back up, and looked at Donna. “Wanna test out the long end?”
Lex grinned, “I’ll give you two a minute,” and went back up front.
Donna smiled at her as she walked away, and then she carefully sat in the couch’s corner. She swung her legs over Cameron’s lap. “I like her.”
“I got that,” Cameron said. “Wait, you mean Lex, right?”
“I like the couch too,” Donna said.
“I’m a little envious,” Cameron admitted. “Do you think maybe I could transition from tech to carpentry? I love writing code, but sometimes I wanna make an actual thing. I think I wanna carpent, Donna.”
Donna swung her legs away from Cameron, and turned so she could lean agains the couch’s back, and rest her legs on the long end of the couch. Cameron rested her head on Donna’s shoulder, and putting her arm around Cameron, Donna asked, “Yeah? What would you carpent, for me?”
“I would build you a house, if I could,” Cameron said. “Not because I don’t like yours, but, just because. On principle.”
“That sounds lovely, but, you could also start smaller,” Donna suggested.
“Honestly,” Cameron whispered, “I’d settle for designing and building a piece of furniture that comfortably facilitates cunnilingus.” Donna’s mouth fell open in shock, but before she could say anything, Cameron asked, “Speaking of which, because we both know this is very important, do you think this will be good for making out?”
“I’m sure we could make it work,” Donna grinned.
“I can see it now,” Cameron said. “I’ll be sitting up in my pseudo-office tree house thinking space, in pajamas, covered in cheese puff powder, and you’ll come up to visit in nothing but a trench coat.”
Looking slightly horrified, Donna whispered, “…you really know me too well.” Then she said, “You’re being too hard on yourself, you don’t really eat cheese puffs anymore.”
“What can I say, Donna? You’ve changed me. You’ve made me a better man.”
Donna smiled at her. “You know, even if it isn’t exactly comfortable for adult fun, if you want this couch, we’re buying it. What do you think?”
Cameron realized that she’d forgotten that they were in a furniture store.
Two hours and some traffic later, Cameron pulled the truck into Donna’s driveway. The couch hadn’t been cheap, but it hadn’t been horrifically expensive either. “Worth every penny, after months of searching!” Donna had declared while in the car. Cameron couldn’t help but agree with her.
Haley and Vanessa were home when they got there, and so Donna happily offered them money to help them get the couch up the garage stairs, which took about 45 minutes. By then it was late afternoon. “Lunch?” Donna asked. Haley and Vanessa went back down to the kitchen to raid the refrigerator; Cameron lingered, looking at her now finally complete pile of furniture.
“Doing anything later?” Donna asked. Cameron’s tentative smile stretched into a real grin.
Several sandwiches and two hours later, they returned to the room above the garage. They turned on the radio, and then they put the bookshelf under the big window, where it would support at least a few potted plants. They plugged in all of the lamps, and they moved all of the furniture out the way so they could roll out the carpet, and then they set up the television and vcr. They positioned the couch against the opposite wall, and then placed the end tables on either side.
And then, they sat down together, just like they had at Lex’s store.
“Thanks for helping me with all of this,” Cameron said.
“You’re welcome. But also…my house, is your house,” Donna said.
They relaxed together for about half and hour before Donna said, “Okay, I’m definitely ready for some dinner. How about you, are you hungry?”
Cameron got up, slowly, and then stretched, hands skimming the ceiling. “What about pizza?” she asked. “I feel like after everything we accomplished today, we could and should celebrate with pizza. And/or your famous salad.”
Affectionately, Donna said, “I love that you pretend to love my salad, when what you really want is the pizza.” She switched off the lamp closest to her.
Cameron switched off one of the other lamps. “Who said I’m pretending? I love the candied walnuts. And also the dried cranberries.”
The radio was still on, and it was still set to the all ‘80s station that Donna had listened to while sorting through all the boxes she’d stored above the garage. It started playing “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” and Donna stopped. “Hey,” she said. “Would you like to slow dance with me?”
Cameron looked at her funny as if she thought Donna might be kidding, and then realized that she wasn’t. “We’ve never done that, have we?”
Donna held her hand out. “Feeling adventurous?”
Cameron took her hand, and let Donna pull her close. Donna put her arms around Cameron’s neck, and Cameron hesitantly put her hands on Donna’s waist. Then, after a second, she put her arms around Donna. They swayed together, in front of the new couch and coffee table, for the rest of the song, even though there wasn’t much space, and Cameron was stiff and a little awkward about it.
The song ended, and Donna kissed Cameron’s cheek. “We are definitely getting pizza,” she said. She went over to the radio, about to shut it off, when “Once In a Lifetime” came on. Donna turned back to Cameron, eyes wide with delight. She promptly turned the volume up.
Donna start to nod her head along with the beat, only to stop abruptly so she could mouth the lyrics: “And you may find yourself, living in a shotgun shack….”
Cameron watched, also delighted, if a little taken aback. When Donna started to dance momishly to the chorus, snapping her fingers and swaying her hips in time, Cameron decided to join her.
While Donna continued to dance, Cameron mouthed the next line: “And you may ask yourself, ‘How do I work this?’”
Excitedly, Donna grabbed her hand and mouthed back, “And you may ask yourself, ‘Where is that large automobile?’”
Gesturing with her free hand around the room, Cameron mouthed, “And you may tell yourself, ‘This is not my beautiful house…’.”
Melodramatically, Donna grabbed Cameron’s shoulders, and mouthed, “And you may tell yourself, ‘This is not my beautiful wife’!”
The next chorus came in, and Donna let go of Cameron, and started doing The Robot. Cameron watched her for a moment, dumbfounded — in the many years that she’d known Donna, she’d seen her do many things, but never The Robot — and then she started to bounce happily, if tentatively, with the music. She watched Donna for a little longer, and when Donna started to sing or rather say along, “Same as it ever was,” Cameron grabbed her, and kissed her.
Donna threw her arms around Cameron, again, and kissed her back.

Chapter 6
-
You sure you didn't forget anything?
She read the text from Minji who worried her sister may have left behind some of her belongings. It was Monday morning, the day she would move into the estate and with a heavy heart she dragged her plain black suitcase from the bus stop.
Minji had a difficult time understanding why her sister had to leave home and had also forgotten that the job was live-in. They both decided that with one less sister at home, it was better that Minji move into Hanji's and put up her own apartment for rent.
Her older sister packed her bags for her, folding her favourite pieces of clothing and leaving the difficult things like skincare and makeup for Hanji, herself.
I'm not gone forever, Minji. Besides if I forget anything, it's only a half-hour drive :)
It's true, Hyuk had granted her permission to return home every weekend if she wanted to and she very much liked the offer as she would get to see her sister.
Tucking her phone away into the pocket of her long mid-calf skirt which was coloured a pale blue, a colour she learned was one of Daeul's favourites -- the others being green and red. She arrived at the gate where one of the drivers, perhaps twice her age, was waiting, and waved her hand in the air.
"삼촌/samcheon/uncle!", she called out with a beaming smile on her face. They older man jogged toward her and opened the door, smiling widely as he took her luggage from her and carried it into the house.
Suddenly, she heard the familiar sound of small feet pitter-pattering against the tiled floor and instantly knew who it was.
"Hanji!", she heard Daeul's small yet raspy voice call out to her, making her turn around to see him still dressed in his pajamas running to her with open arms.
"Good morning, buddy!", she laughed and held back from lifting him up to carry the boy in his arms. Instead, she patted his head as he tugged on her skirt and clung next to her. Taking the suitcase from the older man, she uttered multiple thank you's before walking inside with Daeul.
"Why're you up so early, huh?", she teased.
Missus Chae had entered the living room dressed in the same satin and grey outfit she always wore. "He heard you're coming early, today."
Hanji smiled warmly, looking toward the small boy next to her who covered his face in embarrassment. "Is that right, Daeul?"
"Daeul, why don't you show Hanji her room? Maybe you can help her unpack after breakfast.", the older woman suggested, grinning toward the boy. He proceeded to dragging her by the skirt toward the bottom of the staircase. She carefully dragged her luggage behind her, watching out for his little toes which she tried to avoid stepping on.
The older housekeeper had told her to leave her items downstairs for someone else would come to claim them and place them in her room in the evening, so Daeul ascended the stairs as fast as he could but took two steps per level due to his short strides.
When they had reached the top, he ran toward the pale white door at the end of the corridor and pushed it open with Hanji trailing right behind him.
The first thing she saw was the clock on the wall which was decorated with Roman numerals. It was large and beige, its numbers painted brown. On the adjacent wall rested a bed perhaps the same size as hers at home, only this one was plain white and not pastel pink and instead of one pillow it had three.
The walls were a creme beige colour, welcoming her with a warm and homey feeling which eased her nerves upon moving in.
"Does it fit to your accommodations?", Missus Chae asked with Daeul holding a small smile of anticipation on his face.
"Y-Yes! Yes, Missus Chae it's l-lovely.", she reassured, taking a step in and observing the features including a mahogany nightstand table and a matching closet.
"Missus Chae, is your room on this floor as well?", she asked in curiosity. The older woman shook her head, grinning. "Oh, mine's downstairs along with a few of the other housekeepers."
Hanji tilted her head, wondering why she who was not that different from Missus Chae and the other members, had a room on the second floor while they rested downstairs. Perhaps it was another rule needed to be close to Daeul much like the table one.
"Alright, I'll be prepping breakfast if you need me. Make yourself at home, Hanji.", the elder said with a grin before exiting the room and proceeding down the stairs.
Hanji looked toward Daeul who had already found his way onto the large bed, sprawling his limbs across the fresh white sheets with a smile on his face.
"Look at you! Will you sleep here, Daeul?", she teased as she sat next to him cupping his face and cooing at his giggles.
~
She spent her day like all the others -- breakfast and reading in the morning, lunch, drawing and physical activity in the afternoon. Daeul enjoyed music and oftentimes danced to the songs on Hanji's playlist, which was compiled of modern day pop and a few songs dating back to the 50's like Elvis Presley and the entire Back to the Future soundtrack.
By the time it was past six in the evening, she had forgotten that at that time she would probably have been home already. Daeul was to take his bath before bedtime which was eight in the evening, and it certainly took a while for the boy to wind down hence why they made bath-time early.
"Daeul, come! Let's have your bath now.", Hanji called from the bathroom on the second floor, already running the lukewarm water and foaming up the bubbles in the one foot level water.
Suddenly, the said boy came running into the bathroom butt-naked, laughing from the top of his lungs and throwing himself into Hanji's arms.
"Why are you --"
"S-Sorry, Hanji! He managed to strip himself, already.", one of the younger male housekeepers explained, catching his breath at the doorway. She laughed loudly, throwing her head back while embracing the boy in her arms.
"Alright, let's get you cleaned up."
If only she had known he was the most hyper during bath-time, she wouldn't have worn such a nice skirt while bathing him. By the end of the twenty minutes, the bathroom floor was covered in bubbles and puddles of water which she knew she would have to clean up later.
She wrapped him up in a towel and changed his diaper, patting some baby lotion and powder onto his neck and chest before changing him into a pair of teddy bear pajamas. Laying him down in his small bed, she turned on the nightstand lamp and sat next to him in bed.
"You wanna read, Daeul?", she offered as she pulled up a picture book and rested it between their laps. It was a new book they hadn't read yet -- about a pair of siblings who wander off in the city after their parents ask them to buy a list of vegetables -- a carrot, two stalks of celery and one large broccoli bunch.
By the time the siblings had picked up the celery, Daeul's eyelids had already became heavy and shut completely. He breathed and snored lightly, letting Hanji know that it was time to place the book down, turn the lamp off and switch it with his rocket ship-shaped nightlight.
She slid off the bed and tucked him in his duvet before slowly creeping out of the room and softly shutting the door behind her.
--
Fun Story Fact #6:
The team in the house is composed of seven with Missus Chae being the head of housekeeping with four others, two of which alternate on cooking duty, and two drivers.

Breaking Free
Tumblr media
The rain was pouring outside, the deluge was drumming its icy cold fingers against the skylight above.  I lay in bed watching the trickles down the slant of the window into the gutter below,  my mind full of thoughts, each one chasing the other round and round in circles.  I tilted my head to the side to glance at the alarm clock at Kevin’s side of the bed.  3.05am.  Five more minutes then it was time.  Just like I practised over the last month.
I looked again.   It was time.  I carefully pulled back the sheets as so not to wake the man lying next to me.   His arm was draped over me, heavy across my stomach.  Gently I lifted his arm and moved it off of me, with careful and precise movements I sat up and slid out of bed.  I crept around the bed doing my best not to wake Kevin,  it was unlikely he would wake though. He had drunk enough for a football team last night, but I could never be quite sure if he would wake up to go pee or sleep like the dead.  I was taking a huge chance.  But it had to be tonight, now that I was strong enough to follow through.
I heard the bed creak and I froze in place, holding my breath and glanced over my shoulder and watched as he turned around onto his back and started to snore.  I let my breath go in a relieved sigh and continued my silent trek out of the bedroom.  Once in the hallway I relaxed slightly, I walked faster towards the stairs, heading down to the utility room,  once of the few places that he ever ventured into.    As I reached the bottom of the stairs,  I caught sight of my reflection in the floor length mirror that was hung on the wall opposite the stairs and I winced.  My red hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail,  my features were pale in the early morning gloom, but  bruises were clear even in the darkness.  A fading black eye and matching trail of bruises running along my jawline, more recent marks adorned my upper arms and a necklace of red blotches circled my throat.  Taking a second I looked at my pathetic reflection,  tears stinging my eyes.  Enough was enough, I had to go.
Hurrying  through to the utility room,  I knelt down in front of the cabinet closest to the washer and moved the obligatory soap powders, softeners and stain removers that I had artfully placed in front of a large khaki canvas bag I had hidden in there weeks ago.  I was careful as I pulled it out, making sure that I didn’t knock anything over or make too loud a noise that would wake up Kevin.  As the bag came clear of the cabinet, I pulled open the zipper and re-checked the contents as I had done every day this week,  worried that he would find it and remove the essentials that I had placed in there to make my escape more difficult or impossible.  I moved everything around, the cash that I had saved up since the beatings began, a few thousand dollars.  My passport, birth certificate, drivers license.  Spare clothes, a burner phone that I had purchased the last time I had been allowed out without him. A map, bus timetables.  Everything was there as I pushed everything back into place,  a small black and grey photo appeared, peeking out from the safety of my journal.  My eyes flooded with tears, my hand instantly moving to cradle my flat stomach.  With my free hand I reached in and snaked the photo out of my journal, pulling it free to expose it in full.  My first and last sonogram.  My hand drew circles over my stomach that had until 3 months ago housed our baby,  my baby.  That was until I made Kevin dinner and forgot to use the correct napkins.
It had been building all day,  a look here,  a disgusted grunt there.  I had not folded the towel in the bathroom correctly,  one of the tins on the pantry shelves was slightly out of alignment to the rest of them.  I looked too long at myself in the mirror.   It didn’t take much.  A few punches to the face, till I dropped to my knees.  I was too slow to protect my stomach,  never thinking for a moment that he would do anything to endanger the baby,  but a couple of well placed kicks to the stomach was all that was needed.  He left me there,  lying on the floor, losing blood.  Losing our baby while he went to the local bar for a few beers and no doubt to flirt or worse with the barmaid there,  who had no clue what kind of man he really was.  When he came home and saw me,  trying so hard to clean up the blood,  he was so apologetic, promising as he always did that he was sorry and that it would never happen again.  He knew this time he didn’t have a choice.  He would have to take me to the emergency room, I had lost a lot of blood.  So he took me in and they confirmed what I already knew,  he murdered our child and if I didn’t get out one day he would murder me too.
So here I sat,  glancing at what should have been my future but was now a part of my past.  I slid the photo back into my journal and zipped the bag closed.  Pulling open the door to the washer I dug out the clothes that I had put in there this morning. Underwear, socks, Black skinny jeans, a camisole and a beige chunky knit sweater.  I dressed as quickly as I could, sliding my feet into my sneakers left at the side of the door.  Picking up the bag, I traversed the way through the house to the back door.  The yard had a gate at the bottom which opened up into the woods.  The gate had a lock on it but I had sneaked the key from the cabinet this afternoon and had left a torch down next to the gate, hidden by some bushes.  I took my large thick fleece from the hook and slipped it on,  followed by a wooly hat to help cover my hair.  Shouldering the bag I stood a moment, listening intently to the sounds of the house.  Hearing nothing alarming I turned the key in the lock of the door and opened it slowly.  Nothing but silence of the early morning greeted me.  I stepped out into the chill and closed the door behind me.  I took a few steps and looked back at the house, taking a moment to check each of the windows for him.  Nothing, each window was black and empty.
I half ran down the yard to the gate,  reached into the bushes to extract the torch and then reached into my jacket pocket to retrieve the key I had secured in there earlier.  My hand slipped around its coldness and I clasped it tight and moved to unlock the gate.  The lock clicked free and the gate opened with ease giving off no noise.  One last look at the house and all was still dark, I stepped out of the yard and into the darkness of the woods and closed the gate behind me.   I had traced the route over and over whenever Kevin had gone to the bar or out fishing and knew how to get down to the main road that led into town, to the safety of the bus depot.  The safety of the bus that was leaving for Washington at 5.15am from there I would get a bus or train up into Canada and eventually move on over to Alaska.  I had a cousin who lived in Anchorage, I should hopefully be able to stay with her for a few days, till I cleared my head and decided what I wanted to do,  stay or move on..  I glanced down at the watch on my wrist 4:20 am.  Damn I was behind schedule.  I switched on the torch and followed its beam as I ran down the wooded trail as quick as I dared in the darkness,  I had to be careful, I couldn't afford to fall and break my ankle.
Eventually the light of the main road came and I breathed easier. I was almost there.  I looked again at my watch.  4:50am.  Ok,  that was better.  It would take me 10 minutes to get to town then I had 15 minutes to get my tickets,  run to the restroom, grab a coffee and get seated on the bus before it left.
The twinkle of lights at the bus station brought a smile to my lips.  Finally my safe haven was in sight.   Stepping up to the ticket booth I purchased my ticket with a smile and stowed it safely into my pocket before heading to use the restroom.  As I washed up, I heard the boarding call for my bus and noting that departure was in 5 minutes.  Stepping out of the restroom I eyed the coffee stand,  there were no customers in line so it took mere moments for me to get my order,  a black coffee, bottle of water and a blueberry muffin.  I gathered up my refreshments and made the short walk to the bus.  The driver was standing next to the door with a clipboard and was checking peoples tickets and marking them off of his list.  I stood in line and patiently waited for my turn.  When it came to my turn the driver greeted me and we made small talk as he checked my ticket number against what was on the clipboard. It seemed to take forever,  and even though I knew I had a ticket, I still worried that he wouldn’t let me on the bus for some reason.  With a nod he ticked off my ticket and asked me to climb aboard and take my seat as we were about to leave.
Walking down the narrow aisle of the bus,  I took a seat a few from the front.  Stowing my bag in the overhead compartment, I slid into the seat below me with my coffee and muffin and watched as the driver shut the luggage bay under the seating areas and locked it.  He blew his whistle for the final call, waited a few moments and seeing that no one was rushing toward the bus, he took the stairs and sat down.  The doors shut and the bus started up,  the engine causing the bus to vibrate. I took a sip of my coffee and the bus pulled out of the depot and on to the road that I had just walked down.  The bus, I knew would drive past the woods that I had just escaped and I knew that if I looked up through the woods, I would see the silhouette of the house where I had lived with Kevin for the last 2 years.   The bus took the road at a steady pace as as it took the curve,  the woods came into sight.  Feeling brave, I watched as the woods came closer and closer, my eyes watching the point I would see the house.  And there it was.  No longer dark, the lights blazed out of the windows.  He was awake.  He knew.
I began to tremble,  terrified that any moment he would burst out of the woods and force the bus to stop.  But the woods began to thin and then became a row of houses and the bus began to pick up speed as we rushed toward the town limits.
As I saw the sign saying “You are now leaving Portland come again soon,  I breathed a sigh of relief.  I had finally done it.  I had broken free!

Headcanon: Scents/Haircare/Skincare/Makeup
Scents: Jongsuk doesn’t wear the traditional men’s cologne, calling it a bit too boring and musky for his liking. He goes deep into the feminine and women’s perfums from some of the most popular houses. However, like his fashion, his likes for perfumes changes every season. Currently, since it’s summer, he wears light and flowery perfumes with a fresh touch to them.  day to day, he switches between two of his ongoing favorites. One is a light flowery scent by Versace called Bright Crystal ($126) which is inspired by Donatella Versace’s favroite floral mix with subtle scents of yuzu, pomegranates and lotus flowers along peonies and magnolias.  The other is Burberry’s My Burberry Blush($132), which a very flowery perfume with notes of rose and apples. In winter, and fall, he prefers the spiced and woody scents more so, rather since it’s a cold day and he wants to smell like fall. In winter and fall, he alternates between Victor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb Nectar ($150) which is an orange spiced scent with gunpowder and Versace’s Eros ($159) which is a woody scent marked with italian lemons and cedar. It’s obvious that he loves Versace and it’s no secret at all. He’s made his love for the brand public when he did a video on his clothes.
Makeup: Jongsuk is 100% a beauty guru and his flawless looks start from his makeup routine. Traditionally, he starts off with a foundation primer. He likes using Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer ($48) since he’s more often than not filming and taking selfies and his makeup has to last fairly long without touch ups. For foundation, for a long time, he used Bourjois Paris in shade 51 (light Vanilla){$20}. He recently transitioned to Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filtr Soft Matte Longwear foundation in Shade 105 (for pale skin) {$45}. Following the foundation, he does countours and highlights. For contour (to get those killer cheekbone shapes), he likes to use an Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in the shade Light to Medium ($53). For highlights, he uses Charlotte Tillbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade Fair ($54). Everything then gets blended with a beauty blender and then he goes in on the rest of his makeup. If he has to go to practice, he will just do his eyeliner and lip gloss. If he goes out for the evening, then he does eye-shadow, brows, eyeliner, mascara and a tinge of lip gloss. For eyeliner, he uses Kat Von D tattoo liner ($27). His lipglosses change occasionally but for the most part, they’re nude, neutral colors either in light pink or beige. He has almost a whole bag of lip glosses but prefers Anastasia Beverly Hills ($22) or a NARS Orgasm Oil-Infused Lip Tint ($34). His eye-shadow palettes change with what he likes too, and he’s got way too many to count. Currently, a preferred favorite is Lunar Beauty’s Greek Goddess palette with lots of golds, pinks and sparkles ($61). He also owns the MorphexJames Charles palette but he’s not a huge fan of the obnoxiously bright colors. For his brows, he uses Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencil in Shade Medium ($28) but he also really likes Benefit Cosmetics Great Brow Basics Pencil and Gel Set in shade Medium ($41). In terms of mascara, he has way too many as well, but a current favorite is the Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara in Black ($32). Overall, his makeup routine, perfected to such a point, takes about 45 minutes for everything including eye-shadow, brows, mascara and about 20 minutes for just eyeliner and lipgloss. He’s done many tutorials talking about his makeup routine as well as the seasonal preferences.
Skincare: Jongsuk's skincare routine is very detailed since his skin is incredibly flawless. he doesn't usually wear a lot of foundation so his naturally pale skin is taken care of to almost an nth degree. His skincare routine usually take forty five minutes before he heads to trc in the morning and about an hour before bed. In the morning, he uses a moisturizer, followed by a serum and then a face mist. Before he does the moisturizer, he uses a face mask. The face mask that he prefers to use is Fresh Rose Face Mask ($80). It's a hydration mask that keeps his face nice and hydrated . Following that, he uses a Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer ($60), since he's hitting 30 in a few years and it helps keep his skin looking younger as well allow for a clear canvas for him to do his makeup. He likes using an eye serum as well to keep himself looking young and handsome. He uses Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye patches ($100) that help reduce puffiness and dark spots as well as reduce early age lines. He finishes off his skincare routine in the morning with a setting spray after all the makeup. Jongsuk uses a Fresh Rose Floral Toner ($53) to finish everything off. At night, his skincare is far more detailed since he actually has the time to take care of himself before he goes to bed and sleeps. First, he washes all the makeup off with a makeup remover. He always uses Tarte Micellar Magic Makeup Remover and Cleanser ($24) to clean off all the makeup he's worn during the day. He then thoroughly washes his face with a cleanser to start off his creams and masks on a clean slate. Most often he alternates between two cleansers and an exfoliator depending on the day of the week. He likes La Mer Cleansing Foam ($130) to purify and cleanse the skin, or Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk ($37) for soft skin. The exfoliator he uses once a week (typically Sundays) is Tatcha Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder ($84). He uses the classic one which nourishes with crushed pearls. He rather likes the fact that it is taken from the Geisha preparation ritual and keeps him looking youthful and flawless. He then uses a regular face cream on his face. Jongsuk likes using Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb ($50). Finally, before he goes to sleep, he puts on an overnight mask on his face and goes to sleep. He really likes Laneige Water Sleeping Mask ($33) for an overnight moisture recharge.
Haircare: He doesn’t put much thought into his hairstyles but still takes good care of his hair and how he has it done. Jongsuk washes his hair three times a week with a color safe shampoo and conditioner. He hates dry shampoo. So anything dry shampoo related, hell no. He prefers to use Kerastase Reflection Shampoo for Color-Treated hair ($45) and the same brand conditioner ($48). The shampoo/conditioner combo allows him to keep his dyed locks safe and nourished and not looking like a disaster. Typically, Jongsuk leaves his hair floppy and only uses a hair straightener to give his locks a bit of volume. If he wants to make an impression however, he will use a strong gel to style his hair appropriately. He likes Bumble & Bumble Texture Hair (un)dressing Creme ($41)  along with a  Drybar Le Sherif Firm Hold Hairspray ($36) to hold his hair in place. Since he already uses a nourishing shampoo, he doesn't really do hair masks or oils, since for right now, he has no need for them.

CLC Seunghee Inspired Makeup Look feat. Althea Makeup (Video, Swatches, Review)
To be honest, I don’t listen to K-Pop girl groups that much and I have never gotten very much into any other girl group songs after 2NE1. But late last month, I stumbled upon this MV on YouTube and it got me hooked! CLC’s newest song ‘No’ is a mood! For days after watching that MV and listening to that song, I’ve been subconsciously answering everybody’s questions with ‘Naaaaaaw’ lol
Tumblr media
The ladies of CLC were oozing with fierceness and beauty in their latest video but one of the members, Seunghee, got me bewitched. I’m totally living for her makeup look and I thought it’s something I’d love to wear!
So, two days ago, I uploaded a new video on my YouTube channel sporting this makeup look using Althea’s latest makeup collection. The shades from their newest palette is PERFECT for the look so I went on with it!
Tumblr media
Here’s how I came up with the makeup look! I took inspiration from Seunghee’s makeup in the MV as well as her look in their teaser photos (the one in the thumbnail) for their new album “No. 1″.
youtube
If you’re kind enough to head onto my YouTube channel, please let me know how I did in the comments! kkkk~ ^^
ALTHEA PRODUCTS I USED
Skin Relief Spot Film Gel - 240php
Tumblr media
I use pimple patches a lot to heal and protect my active acne from the bad environmental stuff like pollution, dust, etc. The only downside of pimple patches is that they are usually very noticeable and they don’t work so well with makeup. I find this spot film gel from Althea pretty cool because it dries up as a film that resembles the skin! It doesn’t budge over foundation, too so I have to say I prefer this more than the usual pimple patches out there.
BCL x Althea Sunrise & Moonrise Eyeshadow Palette - 1,780php
Tumblr media
I love how versatile the shades are! They are immensely pigmented and the fallout is minimal thanks to its creamy formula. I find the matte brown perfect for nose contouring especially if you have paler skin like myself. Sometimes, contour powders available on the market today are too dark for me.
I’m personally a huge fan of burgundy eyeshadows and I prefer shimmers and glitters over mattes so I find this palette really perfect for me. In Seunghee’s look, she dons a mix of brown and burgundy hues on her lids so I went with those colors from this palette.
Spotlight Eye Glitter - 300php
Tumblr media
My all-time favorite glitter eyeliner is 3CE’s Eye Switch and it’s pretty difficult to find something that performs as amazingly as that. Most glitter eyeliners are either too chunky or too dry. I’ve had some from other brands that dry up in nasty flakes! Ha! But now I found a more affordable alternative to my favorite!
As may of you know, I’m insanely addicted to shimmers and sparkles so when I got my makeup box from Althea, I made sure to try their Spotlight Eye Glitter first. Very impressive! At its price point (300php) compared to 3CE’s ($16/around 900php), Althea’s Spotlight Eye Glitter succeeds in giving me all the glitter glory I’m looking for. I’m really hoping they release more shades (wishing for mermaid colors)!! For now they have:
#01 Gold Light - clear white base, iridescent gold shimmers
#02 Pink Light - clear pink base, iridescent purple shimmers
Flawless Creamy Concealer - 200php
Tumblr media
The concealer didn’t disappoint! Their shade variation is on point for Asian complexion. My shade is Ginger (Warm Ivory), while I use Vanilla (Pink Beige) for my under eyes.
Its very creamy and thick texture provides the full coverage you’d like your concealer to have. It’s very easy to blend as well. A little goes a very long way so if you’re not really looking into covering major discolorations or blemishes, 1 to 2 dots should suffice.
Water Color Cream Tint - 260php
Tumblr media
I’m thinking that this tint is somewhat a lip gloss >> lip stain crossover. It has this very beautiful sheen similar to a lip gloss but its texture isn’t sticky at all. Its texture and lasting power is very similar to a lip stain. My favorite shade is #1 Plum Cream and I use this almost everyday, not just because of its gorgeous red shade, but also because of its superb lasting power! The stain of these tints lasts for more than 12 hours on me. If I want to retouch, I just dab a little onto the center if I want a bit of more gloss.
FINISHED LOOK:
This is the best CLC Seunghee I can do for now! haha! I know my blending skills need more work. lol Nevertheless, I really enjoyed playing with my new makeup this time. Really hoping to have the luxury of time again so I can come up with more K-Beauty videos for you guys in the future. Filming and editing is just too tasking for me! lol
Tumblr media
That’s it! For now, let me get CLC and ITZY on repeat! kkkk~ What’s your current K-Pop bop nowadays?
