@lidiyabest thanks somuch baby! honestly its such an underrated gaga song & i've been obsessed with it since she posted that 1st rehearsal teaser before the swinefest gig. i dont need justice for all of artpop(jewels n drugs was always in the trash & lets not even go there with dowhat u want)-- but sexxx dreams DESERVES somuch more time in the sun. it still goes so hard & the lyrics are so gorgeous

    BACK IN TIME: ITUNES “SWINEFEST” FESTIVAL 2013

On September 1, 2013 Lady Gaga took the stage at the Roundhouse in London as the first female headliner at the iTunes Festival 2013, which she lovingly dubbed “Swinefest” (hence giving each fan a pig snout as a gift to wear during the show). 

This was the first time she performed several songs from “ARTPOP” for the public, and the first time she revealed her real hair color. Styled by Brandon Maxwell, we’re here to discuss everything she wore.

Gaga opened the show with the first song from the album, “Aura”. She wore a whole ensemble custom-made by Perry Meek, comprising a strong-shouldered crop jacket with vinyl piping, matching mask and high-waist leggings. 

Her dancers wear bespoke Perry Meek as well. Their boots were provided by Aldo.

For “MANiCURE”, she took off the top to reveal a crystal-embellished black satin bra by La Perla which was customized by Perry Meek for the performance.

She also wore the girly lace-trimmed socks by American Apparel.

Her black Pleaser ankle boots were custom hand-embellished with 8000 jet hematite Swarovski crystals by a-morir. 

The bespoke bedazzled shell bustier, Gaga rocked on the stage for her performance of the title track, was custom-made by Rodrigo Otazu, an Argentinian jeweler and artist. 

When I asked Rodrigo about the one-off creation, he told me: “It took 9000 hand placed crystals for me to design this bra and there is only one Lady who could bring it to life”. 

Perry Meek created the base of the bra and her garden panties.

I don’t think I have to do a majorly big introduction for this piece. When performing “Jewels n’ Drugs”, Gaga slipped into a red plaid Western shirt with Signature Yves collar from Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection.

The final part were her beloved Alaïa Fall/Winter 2012 black leather lace-up platform ankle boots featuring buckled ankle strap and lug sole.

Gaga comes back out for a hot performance of “Sexxx Dreams”, clad in a black leather criss-cross bra with patent trim and crystallized black panties by Perry Meek.

Her crystal-embellished back seam fishnet tights are Capezio.

For “Swine”, Gaga added a white, loose T-shirt by Calvin Klein. 

Her pig snout mask with silver crystals in various sizes, is a bespoke creation by Gary Card, who worked on show pieces for Gaga since 2009 (he created her first KeyTar!).

The dancers wore pig head-shaped gas masks attached to backpacks all custom-made by Jacob Roanhaus.

Last but definitely not least, her look for the “Applause” performance. Gaga donned Buste de Chopin en Marbre from Maison Margiela’s Fall/Winter 2013 artisanal Haute Couture collection. 

Margiela‘s reinterpretation of the bust of Chopin, is cut from a Calico cotton canvas base and embroidered with white marble cabochons at the neck, black ones on the vest and green ones on the jacket. 

It took 93 hours to finish the gorgeous couture piece, using marble from Campan in France, cotton gabardine, cotton canvas and pongee silk lining.

Her black turtleneck crop top underneath is by Capezio.
