Ice tea & secret blend. When I get thirsty, beside mineral water I usually goes for an ice tea. It is easy to get anywhere in Indonesia. But did you know, there's a lot type of tea here? Especially for javanese, they got wide variation and mixture of tea. Not a single brand I can choose as my fave. Mostly, I have several choices for tea blend. My fave was tea blend by the nearby warung or rumah makan. They had acquired taste between bitter and fragrant. Yet the angkringan version is also my second favourite b'cos it had bolder taste than the warung version. Ingredients 4 Black Tea bags - tags removed 1/2 cup raw sugar or sweetner of your choice ⅛ teaspoon baking soda 6 cups water Ice - for serving Lemon wedges - optional for serving Instructions How To Make Instant Pot Sweet Iced Tea Add the tea bags, water and calorie-free sweetener (or sugar) into your Instant Pot insert, cover your Instant Pot and set the vent to 'sealing.'  Select the MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK button , select high pressure and set the timer to 4 minutes. Once Instant pot is done cooking, wait on KEEP WARM timer for 5-7 minutes. Then release the leftover pressure by moving the valve from SEALING to VENTING. Once the silver pin drops, open the lid. Using the tongs, pick up the tea bags and discard them. (otherwise the tea will become bitter). Add baking soda and mix well. Let the tea mixture cool completely, then serve over ice. How To Make Sweet Iced Tea Bring the water to a boil. Place the teabags and sugar (or your choice of sweetener) in a heatproof jug and pour the just boiled water. Let it steep for 10 mins before discarding the tea bags. Add baking soda and mix well. Set aside to cool. ....for the second of the new flavors of #BangEnergy I got the other day, this is #KeyLimePie. I do not like real key lime pie, I feel the creaminess of it doesn't go with the tart of it. Anyways, the first couple drinks of this, surprisingly, weren't too bad. Then, I left the house, started drinking some more, it got worse and worse...tossed the motherfucker in a dumpster before I got out of the complex. Glad I had a #Bang #SweetIceTea ready to go in case this one sucked. That being said, it's not like I wouldn't recommend it, even though Ig tossed it.
