I think ive got a good idea for my next warm knit--wool legwarmers that go up to the thigh. I'd only be wearing them in my wheelchair so I'm hoping them staying up wont be an issue. I was initially thinking long underwear but I think I could eliminate most of the need for washing by just ... not doing a crotch ? Also idk how to knit a crotch anyway, and it's my legs that get horribly cold. I have quite a lot of pink laceweight millspun wool that I think should be enough. Very excited to get started on it... basically will just be a long tube with increases so it should be easy enough.

#this post brought to you by me waiting outside the yarn store for it to open #didnt realize they dont open til noon on sundays and i left at like 10 lol #went to goodwill and a coffee shop to pass the time but i still ended up sitting outside waiting #gonna try and find some yarn for a hat for my favorite coworker #i dont think im making anything else for my other coworkers or if i do it will be very small #but my favorite coworker is extremely sweet and definitely merits a hat. also she used to knit before arthritis #so i think she will appreciate it. but im not sure she'd handwash wool so im buying something machine washable #or at least I want to #if i cant find anything i will knit her a wool hat #but id rather make one she will wear #i think i might knit little little snails for my other coworkers ? like tiny ones #maybe maybe not. a snowflake decoration would also not be too bad to crochet #i have too many coworkers and too bad of hands to make them all hats #i like them all a lot but. hand pain lol #anyway this long ramble is brought to you by Waiting For The Yarn Store To Open #knitting
