anyways in 2019/2020 i went on a rampage on eurovision youtube regarding lena and maNga (nothing too wild, i was 18, but mainly just calling them out on being plain delusional and then getting called racist in return) and i still get salty maNga stans replying years later and its honestly so pathetic the more time goes by. grow up. get a hobby. who the fuck cares. you found my four year old comment and you decided to argue back.

Credit to a bunch of comments on youtube that made me realize that, other than Loreen and Pasha, 2023 and 2012 also both have a song called Echo and a song called Stay and an Austrian song with a "po" sounding catchphrase (Popo/Poe Poe Poe) and now I kinda wonder in which timeline I woke up today lol

I see people on tumblr and reddit overwhelmingly think that Tattoo is mediocre and overhyped and I’m like “but if every person I see says it’s mediocre and overhyped, how is it overhyped??” but then I watch youtube ranking videos and like all of them put Tattoo first and I’m like “ok, fair”

#eurovision #ok so I am Swedish so I might be biased #but in my opinion #it is a pretty mediocre song on its own #(and not the type of music I like to listen to)#but Loreen brings a lot of emotions and 'that special something' to it #making it more of an experience #but even with my Swedish bias were I to make a top 10 it would not be on it #also even though I tend to agree with people thinking Sweden #generally gets too good results for what we send #it still gets a bit tiring to constantly see people saying we're overhyped #(and also just be blatantly wrong sometimes #like saying the televote hates us?#like yes the jury tends to rank us higher than the televote #but except from 2008 we would always have qualified by televote alone?#*for #and these last years #with the exception of 2018 #(and 2021 where the jury also ranked us lower)#we have done well in the televote too #not as well but you know. well)#(also I will not tolerate Cornelia slander #her song was great as was her performance #she deserved her fourth place)
