Uhhhh so, I believe this is actually my first NON Skelebro/Reader fic on here. There's no reader here.

But! There's like, hinted PapGore? I dunno.

This was inspired by suggestions Whisper sent me, and I just wanted to explore some of that bravado Stretch always puts out, and a time when it may have faltered for once. He does have a lot of confidence, but even the most confident people have times where they doubt their worth.

(My first ever non xReader fic! Just some sweet hinted PapGore because Stretch deserves to be paired with anyone and everyone)

Honeyketchup is a D for me, I’m afraid. I prefer to have at least one Fell-verse character in my ships, and HoneyKetchup sort of feels better as a platonic ship for me–or at most, pals who mess around sometimes. But generally, I’m not all that interested in the ship.

Swap Papgore is probably also a D? Unless it’s unhealthy, then it’s an A. It can be a B for me at times, but usually I find it a bit too soft. I prefer ships with potential for angst, and Swap Papgore doesn’t usually deliver that for me unless it’s unhealthy.

Swapgore/swap papgore for the ship thing ?

You know kirango I was just thinking just about this ship and like what I would write if I got it for this thing so like frikking bless u man xD but yeess some swap papgore god I love them rnjgkjege

who’s the cuddler: Both are extremely cuddly, Stretch is prolly the one who is just a tiny bit more because how can you not be when your boyfriend is the most softest cuddliest goat to cuddle? But mostly they are pretty equal with the cuddling with Stretch just a tiny bit more bc he would cuddle that big af goat all the time if he could.  

who makes the bed: Fluffy, he is a bit more cleaner and a tiny bit more tidier than Stretch, though not by much they are both a tad bit messy with clutter everywhere especially with Stretch’s hoarding tendencies, tho Stretch do tidy the bed at times too mostly because he knows Fluffy will appreciate it. But overall neither are super tidy with it so mostly the bed stays a bit messy. Though when Flufy wants to tidy the bed up a bit and Stretch is still in bed, he will roll his skeleton boyfriend into one big blanket burrito and put him onto the couch.  

who wakes up first: Fluffy he likes to get up early to tend his garden, Stretch has an extremely hard time with waking up its almost impossible to wake him up at all, so Fluffy by default gets up first. Sometimes when insomnia hits in though Stretch ends up been up first because he haven’t slept at all, but it happens very rarely, especially since they got together, and Stretch usually ends up falling back asleep at last after that Fluffy has woken up himself. Fluffy do at times stay in bed so he can just cuddle his smaller boyfriend bc gods he loves it.   

who has the weird taste in music: Stretch, he listens to pretty much anything and everything he takes a fancy to, to old 80′s rock to Vocaloid etc like anything goes as long as he finds anything he likes with it, Fluffy on the other hand is way pickier with what he likes to listen to, and he is not that big of a fan of all this new electric music but he do try to listen to songs Stretch likes even though he has a hard time understanding why anyone would like to listen to it. Stretch also has a habit of sending Fluffy songs that are very, very sexual with bunch of naughty words just to see how scandalized Fluffy gets over hearing the lyrics. 

who is more protective: mhh neither of them are that protective, like they would of course protect each other if attacked and so on and both would stand up for the other if someone bad mouths etc, but they are both pretty damn chill about these things though so things usually don’t end up in like fights or anything, though think Stretch might be a tiny bit more protective mostly because Fluffy at times can get hit by guilt after been called out for not doing enough in the past etc. 

who sings in the shower: Both, they are both very singy and when they do shower together they time to time ends up singing together, though Stretch has a habit of singing the wrong lyrics on purpose just so to get Fluffy laugh and almost slip because he just can’t stop. 

who cries during movies: Fluffy, he gets very teary eyed over sad or very happy things happening in movies, while Stretch can sometimes get teary eyed over some things, like when there is an animal involved or it get hurt god he hates that, but overall he don’t cry much when watching movies, he is all too happy to comfort his very large boyfriend instead with hugs and kisses and proper cuddled on the couch. 

who spends the most while out shopping: Stretch, he is one big af impulse buyer and has a habit of buying random stuff that he just finds neat, the weirder the better, he is after all a hoarder and just love to find really weird stuff which he just must have. Fluffy is a bit less impulse buyer he is a bit better at buying just the things that are needed, but when it comes to anything gardening both of them just goes absolutely nuts bc both are really into plants and got an addiction.  

who kisses more roughly: Stretch, mostly because Fluffy due for his big size and big strength is at times afraid of been a bit more rough, afraid of accidentally hurting Stretch in some way which Stretch is in reality completely fine with but he gets why Fluffy would be afraid, but some pain at times can be really nice but they usually don’t get that rough at all with each other they are very soft.   

who is more dominate: neither of them are really that dominant, they are both switches like every character I got pretty much but its more what they feel like doing, like sometimes Stretch leads a bit more and sometimes Fluffy there isn’t really any dom or sub stuff going on ye

my rating of the ship from 1-10: a big af 10/10 because god I love these two and it makes me so sad everytime I check out the tags with it on ao3 bc its almost always angsty and messed up stuff like give me the frikking fluff and happiness with them please I need it so frikking bad bc god let them be happy and sweet and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, like no hate or anything to the ppl who write them well unhealthy etc I get why and I have enjoyed some of it but god I want some where they are actually happy and healthy af

Favorite rare pair? (Not just for bittys, just in general)

*Oh man, I have a few ships that I enjoy that I suppose could be considered rarepairs:

-Swap!Papgore: gentle goat dad and laidback lazybones 👍

-Papby: two dudes who like to cook and are probably confidantes, built-in coffee shop style AU 👌

-Lustberry: guy who hates being viewed as a sex object and guy who hates being viewed as a baby 💖

-Wine/Anyone: I love that cool, confident bastard and anyone he decides to dominate, works well as protective lover for Sugar or antagonistic dom to Edge or Blackberry 👀

*I’m mostly an equal opportunity shipper though. I enjoy anything with an interesting dynamic or good writing that involves characters that I like: skeletons, Grillby, Gaster, Goat Dad

*I like plenty of popular ships, but there are certain characters I don’t ship a lot with: Mettaton (for some reason I don’t like him in ships?), Muffet (just haven’t seen anything I liked with her yet), and Toriel (she just never grew on me as a character for ships).

AND I'm sorry, but another one note from Random Guy From Russia™. Are you going to draw/write some MH US!Sans/MH US!Napstabot (UT!Paps/UT!MTT) stuff? Just curious.

I’m answering this separately so I can talk about it more, and despite the second ask I’ll explain my thoughts on both ships just to cover everything ahah

in the case of Swap NapstaSans - I don’t care for it in general Underswap, but in Underswap MH... I have once considered that if I were to ship Neptune with someone other than Orchid (Toriel), Napstabot could be the most likely option? I should note I’m less fond of Underswap ships being carbon copies of the UT role equivalents and prefer them having more in common with the same characters’ relationships (as in, Swap MH Soriel is kinda more similar to UT Soriel than UT Papgore), so I think the issues I have with UT Papyton wouldn’t be nearly as prevalent in Swap MH NapstaSans, if it were a thing.

...but it decidedly is not a thing, because I don’t have the heart to be a multishipper and ultimately I can’t see the relationship having as much depth as I’ve built up between Neptune and Orchid, which is what’s canon. admittedly I haven’t shown like 60% of that depth yet but I have Plans I swear

as for Swap Papyton... well, UT Papyton is one of my lesser notps, so that’s also a no, sorry :’’’> and even if it weren’t, one of my Big Favourite headcanons is aromantic asexual Papyrus and that’s another thing that’s canon to Underswap MH, so Noodle’s staying a single pringle.

however I can offer you an idea I had for a non-romantic interaction between them: since deciding ‘Happstablook’ is his new name rather than his deadname, I’d been trying to think of how I could incorporate Noodle coming up with that name for him, since in the original game it’s just Papyrus’ headcanon name for him. I was stumped on that for a while but considering UT Papyrus is such a fan of Mettaton’s brand and Happstablook put in a lot of rebranding efforts with the Snail Farm, maybe Noodle is still a fan of his branding style and they got to know each other through that?

I need to develop the details of that idea more but they Might be friends at the very least 👍
