Swampwood, while wandering aimlessly, happens upon a doorway more out of place than most. The sign above reads "The Fairy Garden" in large letters, with "home for the homeless youth" in smaller text underneath. Curious, she enters. It isn't long until she becomes entirely lost, constantly finding herself to have doubled back to the entrance. Despite this, and the growing sense that they don't belong here, they press on.

After watching Swampwood's stubborn persistence for some time, Charity decides that enough is enough and steps out of a doorway behind them.
"Ah, excuse me? Can I help you? You look lost."

Note
Swampwood is wandering through OSHA when she comes across the muse. What the muse sees before them is a strange contradiction. Swampwood is clearly fae and makes no effort to hide the fact, but they wear a choker spiked with iron and clothes more befitting of a modern human.
"Hi! I'm Swampwood, what's your name?"
The introduction gives no time for the muse to make the first move and is distinctly lacking in name-stealing tricks.
@swampwood-briarthorn
The three faces of rumors watch Swampwood, the joyous mask circling around and looking above her head at something else. The weeping face grabs hold of her hand in their two small ones, studying it. Only the angry, or perhaps fearful or disgusted, mask keeps distant, as they respond.
They say that their name is Marril, and they ask which story is hers.
The name feels empty.

Book of Willowbane - Chapter 1- Part ii
Lord Ambrosius Built a Lovely Treehouse For His Only Child https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9jSNgFBh6A&ab_channel=ayachaya Ko-Fi
The seeping willowbane was curious in that it was very far removed from where it ought to be, and yet persisted. The hill the manor was built on stretched high into the sky, a small mountain above the sticky-sweet jeweled swampwoods, and so offered a cool, airy haven from the densely-steaming, acidic depths. Yet despite the seemingly ill-fitting climate, the tree in the middle of the courtyard flourished wonderfully. This was a problem because any contact with the wretched growth was sure to bring blistering pustules and a vibrant, multihued rash, within seconds for those who had never brushed up against it before. That the princeling wanted her treehouse built in and around the swaying, leaking thing was terrible. Nevertheless they had to oblige, for it was her will, and she was immune to it anyhow, somehow.
They had figured out she was unaffected by the willowbane in an obtusely morbid fashion. Her mother, post-partum and terribly depressed, had contemplated dropping the newborn in the plant. Swaying like the willowbane itself against the horizon, holding out the child, she decided against it, but her nerves were already frazzled and she was startled by Ambrosius's cry of horror from across the yard. And so she, very much by accident, to be clear, did drop Willowbane into the dripping thicket of thorny, vinelike branches, which twisted in on themselves much like a bird's nest. She had to be dragged away shrieking by Basilberry, while Meglantine was left the gruesome task of pulling out the surely-swollen-to-death child, only to find that she was perfectly unblemished if not a little scratched up. So, the whole affair was treated as a divine blessing, for Dr. Tallory confirmed there were cases of people have less severe reactions and it was really quite extraordinary that the child remained unmarked. Though, to say the lady of the house needed a severe intervention after the excitement had settled down, was an understatement, and a story for later. Oh, little bird, they sighed collectively, as Willowbane flitted in and around the tree during her youth, and even moreso during and after the construction of the marvelous treehouse. They were understanding of her affinity for the tree, but resented having to work around it. Dr. Tallory was on call constantly for tinctures and ointments and eventually set up a small office in the manor for how frequently he was called upon, not the least to keep an eye on Meglantine, which they both resented as well. The household staff had to clean her clothes constantly, and her flouncing frocks often billowed in the breeze on the hill like clouds. But the princeling loved the tree and for all intents and purposes the tree had to have loved her too for how ripe the fruit was every year. Only she could eat it raw, sink her small, sharp teeth into tart, winedark flesh and stain rivulets of juice onto her dresses, but oh, did it make a delicious jam when stewed with sapsugar and ground rosebark.

Right ideas for cults
Cults that worship gramps see it in some other beliefs some cults see gramps as a cat who broke the chains away form starclan let them gain freedom
Other cults see gramps as a shower of the glory of the hunt and that rules should not guide a hunter
And the largest of the cult that is the oldest is a clan called fallenclan a clan that is know for attacking and even killing other cats that get close to the land they have claimed
But in the dark forest all cultist stay in the mud swamps in the trees
Gramps show his respect for each cult each given a red tree as a sgin that they are wellcomed
There are 6 red tress in the swamp that have cultist on them
We have
Fallenclan - warriors mainly join them they are rude and disrespectful to starclan as much as they can many of them before there deaths loved the feeling of taking others life's
Swampwood : these cats are mainly those that got others to do there work for them manipulators and traitors they are one of the cults that welcome outcast and kittypets into there ranks this even goes for the dark forest far more kind and caring taking in kits sent to the dark forest
Mudcrawl : mud crawls are hunters stalking there prey before coming to the dark forest Mudcrawl cultist in the dark forest are the most well easy to know that they are one of the cults as Mudcrawl cultist all have a scar one there right eye as a sgin of them casting off starclan for gramps and are far more cannibalistic then the other cults in the dark forest
Tickrock : Tickrock are main a cult of medicine cats useing there knowing of herbs to poison victims
The Council : the council live in the largest red tree found and deal with problems in each cult and most of them being ex-chosen
The red tree : gramps lives in the tallest of the red tree seeing out his people and telling storys to those kits who call it home
(just some ideas for cult lore and here some other stuff here we go)
Gramps longest relationship was with a tom kitty pet who died by clan cats and gramps stay by the body for a few moons beging starclan to let him see the kitty pet one last time
The kitty pet did know what gramps did but try to change him to the better
Gramps called the kitty pet stoneflower
Gramps didn't eat kitty pet body as even he was hungry
Gramp last time with stoneflower was of them watching the moon
..
All of gramps lover's died in brutal or slow deaths with nothing gramps could do
Gramps can come off as cold or even rude but it him just trying to not get attached to cultist or other cats
Gramps body is covered in mud or ash most of the time
Gramps is known to send cultist cats to ask to meet starclan cats to talk but most of the time when star clan cats get there no one there but the laughing of cultist cats and gramps
....
Gramps has a gift form every relationship he was in
Gramps also had his own gifts for them but never was able to give them thanks to there deaths
...
Gramps knows each dark forest cat by name but he does forget them sometimes
(and last one)
One of gramps gifts for stoneflower was going to be a rose and a rock since he didn't know witch one stoneflower world like
(sorry for the long one)

A possible future, where Audrey joins the Ducktown Defense League, and gets promoted to high rank quickly.
“How did you get promoted to high rank already?!”, Bill hastily questioned. Audrey turned to face Bill, “It takes practice. You’ll do well.”, she said, as she followed her patrol unit. Watching her leave, Bill made a warm smile.
__________________________________________________
-Audrey loves to tease Drill Sergeant, by calling her “sir”. Yet, Audrey’s rank almost went down.
-Prior to this event, Audrey retires from Swampwood boxing, due to almost being eaten(she lost a match, and this is a consequence). Months later, she received a draft to join the DDL, and she was ecstatic about it.
-Mostly relies on melee(sometimes uses a slingshot)
Audrey belongs to me.

Despite their admiration for Swampwood's aptitude and unconventional methods, now is not the time for pleasantries, and they've been playing this game far longer than she's even been alive.
"Swampwood's a fine name. Mine's Charity. Now, to answer your implied question, Young Renegade, this place is made to keep people out if they shouldn't be here. So perhaps you're not meant to figure out how it works, and should instead aim your curiosity elsewhere."

Swampwood Brawler
Name: Audrey
Hometown: Quackopoils(formerly)-A metropolitan city in the South Area, that I created;Ducktown(currently)
Role: Swampwood boxing club guest brawler
Bio: Not much is known about Audrey, but her father was eaten by the gators, after he lost a certain boxing match in a boxing club in Swampwood. Afterwards, she then became less social to others, and refused to make friendly relationships with others. Ever since this unfortunate event happened, Audrey decided to enter the boxing club, wear the torn fedora of her deceased dad, and follow his footsteps. However, the gators didn’t know that she is actually avenging her father’s death......
Artist’s Note: I just came up with the idea of Swampwood having a boxing club because, I feel like I want to make a Sitting Ducks character that specializes in melee. Originally, this character was going to be an officer, but it was scrapped off.
-Quackopoils is a metropolitan city, just South of Ducktown.
-Audrey has a “scooter-motorcycle” hybrid.
Audrey belongs to me.
I do not own Sitting Ducks.

the first two episodes of S2 of Sitting Ducks started off dark for an *AHEM* kids show:
• “Holding Pen 13” involves Ed, Oly, and Waddle winning a “vacation,” only to find themselves at a pen near a restaurant known as Colonel Snappy’s. The previous winners are held in cages to get fried as Duck Nuggets, and are immediately scared senseless by new prisoners/gators.
A prized twist.
Tumblr media
• “Daredevil Ducks” involves an off-screen death. Ed, Oly, and Waddle attempt a stunt to win a new TV by rubbing an alligator’s belly to make it sleep(which is a myth no duck believes). However, in Swampwood, Ed and Oly allow Waddle to be their gator and attempt to rub the young duck’s belly, only for the trio to fail the stunt. Suddenly, a group of gators found the ducks and they flee from the scene.
However, one of the ducks did not escape in time, and it’s evident by the following dialogue(and throughout the episode):
Oly: It was a little too close for the cameraman. This is all that’s left of him. *holds a broken video camera*
Host: They[gators] ate my cameraman?!
Ed, Oly, and Waddle:
