actually whenever i think about prague race i'm also reminded of Shootaround, a (now completed!) webcomic by suspu, petra nordlund's partner(?), that ran at the same time or just about. (yes it's on webtoon and i have a lot of :/ feelings about that platform, this comic is from 2015-2017 and the first comic i read on there)

it's about a girl's basketball team surviving the zombie apocalypse. it's very lighthearted and funny for the most part, there's little focus on the zombies and a lot of focus on the interpersonal relationships. it is incredibly delightful and i highly recommend it so so so much

Wobbly uncertain bubbles that even break apart in some parts from dizziness (The Blind Prince by cozycroww)

Pain almost appears to be breaking the usually round bubble into uneven and broken balloons. The little smaller balloons around it are reminiscent of sweat or tears (Heir’s Game by suspu)

Dawg you art style looks so much like Suspu (of Heirs Game and Shootaround fame) I swore it had to be you.

Reading Tiger, Tiger by Petra Erika Nordlund and I am so struck by the similarities in the character style to Heir's Game by Suspu on Webtoon. Am I the only one? I'm scouring the internet trying to figure out if there's some connection between the authors but all I've got so far is that they're both Finnish, which I don't think equates to similar art...

It's also got a lot of OFMD and One Piece elements that are making me happy. And by elements I mean pirates and sea monsters. And gay people hahaha

The background art is also gorgeous, and very entertaining writing :]

favourite place: home, the library (always feel good after going to the library), the lighthouse/park in my town.

favourite book(s): The Lunar Chronicles (Scarlet was my favorite when I was younger but I haven't reread these in a while so not sure if that holds up), and it might be cheating a little but favorite webcomics are definitely Shootaround by suspu and Gourmet Hound by Leehama 😁

currently reading: The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake but my mom and i are about to read the Matched series (we started it a long time ago and never finished lol 😆)

favourite tv show: His Dark Materials (i could go on about it for hours seriously so amazing), After War Gundam X (favorite Gundam series!), and Kaguya-sama: Love is War (current favorite anime but i'm almost done watching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and it's amazing so it might get dethroned 😅)

favorite food: I don't really have any favorite foods... I've been in an ice cream mood though cuz summer.
