howdy there is it okay if could ask for ace attorney headcanons on how barok susato kazuma and naruhodo would react to finding out their s/o is biracial being mixed race of japanese and British/European parents/descent I feel like the reader kept it a secret from them at first because people can get quite discriminatory towards people of mixed races I just think the readers parents had a case of forbidden love

Note(s): I have had friends of mixed races that talked about quite a bit of discrimination they've met and it's really honestly really gross. I'm sorry that you went through that stuff and I hope these headcanons can offer some comfort.

Barok

Well, he's made some racial comments towards Naruhodo so I feel like when first meeting you, he did the same thing. But then he grew close to you and developed feelings and realized how his words might've impacted you in the beginning. You get apologies for that before he calls you "exotic", thinking it's a compliment to describe your attractiveness.

You'll have to tell him that no, it's also kind of offensive too. Honestly, there's probably a lot of terms that you'll have to have a talk with him about just because of the time period and also how he is. It's very much a learning process as he realizes how his words must have really hurt you and he didn't even know.

He ends up giving you loads of apologies. It's very much a learning process especially since you become his partner and he really doesn't want to do anything to upset or offend you.

If you let him, then he'd like to give you a long hug with many kisses to the top of your head as he murmurs apologies again and again. You can bet that he definitely becomes a huge protector of you after that too with glaring or bringing up ways he could get someone jailed for being rude to you.

Kazuma

He scoffs when he hears you're facing discrimination. The fact that people can be so awful to other people makes him sick.

If you allow him, then he'd pull you into his arms and let you know that he still cherishes you more than anything.

Naruhodo

He already has no issues with pointing out injustices and wouldn't hesitate to point out the racism that you're going through just because you're mixed.

Might argue with you a bit if you don't want him to make a big deal about it, but he'll eventually respect your wishes.

While he doesn't completely understand how difficult things must be for you, he does understand some of the racism.

He was met with quite a bit of it when he did go to Britian originally (honestly, he probably still comes across people that aren't so quiet and asks insensitive questions).

But if he does learn you've had a particularly bad experience one day then he'll gladly take you home and make you some tea.

He's very sweet with comforting you, giving you a small kiss to your temple and even offering you a massage if you want. He doesn't think he's the best at massages though so be ready to tell him if he's being a bit too hard.

Susato

At hearing your story and why you hide your race, she's very upset. Not at you, but at how awful you're treated just because you're not what society wants you to be.

Susato understands the racism as she got a bit of it when she traveled to England, but the fact that you've had it on both sides really annoys her. She'll gladly speak out about it to those that discriminate if you want her to.

And the fact that your parents had to most likely fight to be together to have you, well Susato wants to just toss someone because it's really annoying to know you're going through so much crap because of who you are.

Gladly reminds you that she loves and cares for you. Absolutely would love to hear about your experiences (the good ones) too because she wants to hear how things might've been different in your household compared to what she knows.

both insist on only kissing you when nobody else is around! while your closest friends know about your relationship, they feel embarrassed kissing in front of them!

though when you are out for a walk together, the two of them will still hold your hand! it might fluster them a bit, but hand holding isn't as scandalous as kissing in public!

susato and you always support ryunosuke with his cases, often helping him sort through the files or searching for hints alongside him! oftentimes, one of you stays behind at the office with the paperwork, while the other joins ryunosuke on his investigation!

and whenever he wins a case, the two of you insist on a little celebration! those usually include cooking his favorite meals and having a nice and calm date night together!

both ryunosuke and susato are sometimes overcome by their strong feelings for you, so when you are in public together and they can't hold you close, like they'd want to, they whisper sweet words in your ear, as a reminder of how much they love you!

You know maya loves to eat and especially loves burgers so it's no surprise she likes fast food dates

Girl will bring you to McDonald's and act like it's fine dining (paying with Phoenix's money of course)

Whenever it's not fast food dates she also likes to bring you to watch her medium training so you can be moral support

It's not really a date and more like you screaming encouragement at her while she's crying because the waterfall she has to train under is too cold

She will randomly call you in the middle of the night saying that you need to come to the office because something happened just so you two can hang out and have a sleepover without Phoenix knowing

You have lots of snacks and watch sappy romance movies while cuddling and Phoenix walks in the next day and sees you sleeping on each other and just can't get mad at you

"Hey hey! Y/n wanna go eat out today? Huh? N-no of course it's not McDonald's again....i-it's....burger King! Yeah!.....so wanna go?"

She absolutely loves bringing you to her magic shows, just you being there makes her forget all about the rest of the spectators and give her 110% during the show

So since this happens often you have mini dates in her dressing room before and after the shows, you'll bring snacks and talk with her about all the tricks she's going to do/did

When you do go on actual dates she likes to go around the city and just do whatever, maybe do some window shopping or pick flowers together, she just likes being with you

Whenever she gets recognized while on a date with you, she'll do some tricks for her fans to entertain both them and you and present you as if you're the famous one

She also loves to go see other magicians perform to get inspiration for her tricks. After the show, she'll tease you asking if she was the better magician and you always say yes of course

Some of her favorite spots to go are sushi restaurants, especially all you can eats and those conveyor belts ones, she'll tell you You don't need to worry about money and can order anything you want since it's not her money in the first place

Sometimes, on particularly beautiful nights, you two sneak out to go to the top of a tall tower and watch the scenery and the night sky, the view and beautiful and you and Kay love it (just make sure she doesn't fall down)

When during random walks, she sees a sakura tree she immediately takes out her camera and starts snapping pictures and selfies of you in silly poses like you're anime characters. You laugh at the pictures together later

Definitely tea dates, she makes tea and snacks for you two and you eat while talking and staring out the window

Sometimes the tea dates are picnics and she just loves walking around the nature and getting to point at all of the things that interest her. Her food and tea are amazing and so is her curiosity

Very similarly she likes to just walk around London and nerd out about every little thing she sees that she read about in her books, her eyes sparkle every time she gets to learn about or tell you some random fact about londoners

Speaking of the books, you two definitely have dates where you read the newest herlock sholmes story and talk about it (even if you live with both the author and the protagonist you still talk basically only with each other about it) it's like a mini book club, susato brings tea and blankets so you can cuddle while reading together

"Oh my goodness! Look y/n! This place was mentioned in the last herlock sholmes issue. Isn't it amazing we get to see it in the flesh and have a date here?!"

Author's note: Look I'm just really horny for Herlock Sholmes. Pathetic man I love him. I haven't played through the games fully (only at the second case but oh man I love this game so much!!!!) so some things may be out of character, my apologies. As usual for my account this was originally written about my OC but it was rather easy to convert to /reader, so enjoy!

Ryunosuke and Susato stood outside of Herlock’s room. The atmosphere was… uncomfortable, to say the least.

“Oh, I’m almost there! Herlock…”

“I’ve got you, darling. And good, I don’t think I can keep going much lon-”

“Don’t you dare!”

“I guess…” Ryunosuke flinched as they heard a loud thud from behind the door. “I guess he’s busy.”

“Uh-huh…” Susato cringed.

They had come here to ask Herlock for one of his devices. However, when they arrived, the only signs of life came from Herlock’s own room. The sounds were definitely those of… life.

“Herlock, I swear, I will-”

A weird combination of a whine and a groan resonated through the flat. The legal team looked at each other with discomfort. From the sounds of it, Herlock was almost done…

“Did you just… Herlock!”

“I’m terribly sorry my love, but you just felt so go-”

“You better be!”

… and you weren't done in the slightest.

“Oh, come on!” Susato groaned, raising her fist to the door. “Mr. Sholmes!”

“Damn! Uhm… One moment!”

The door creaked open, Herlock appearing from behind it. His face was more flushed than ever before and his hair was a mess. It seemed he had thrown his clothes on rather hurriedly, his waist coat still hanging open.

“How… How important is this?” He panted, glancing behind him. “I’d love to help you, however… Well, I'm rather busy.”

“Ah, of course!” Herlock reached for something, shoving it into Ryunosuke’s hands. “Try not to break it, now!”

As soon as the door closed, they heard the loud thud of someone being thrown down onto a bed, followed by a loud whine. It sounded like this would be a long day for Herlock.

Today's another trial day, the councils are the Reaper of Bailey and the great attorney from East country.

But your body decides to stab your back today.

Curling up in your bed, you don't want to move, don't want to do anything. But you want to hear those familiar voices of your friends.

The waves of sting feeling inside your lower belly and back and everywhere just triggered your unreasonable angry.

Suddenly, you got a new plan.

"Hello, this is Herlock Sholmes." The man said while you can hear the sounds around him.

"Herlock, are you in the Bailey now?"

"You sounds like you're weak or something, Miss Pumpkin. Do you need some help? And yes, I am going to see Mr. Reaper and Mr.Naruhodo's trial today."

You bite down your lip and take a deep breath so that you wouldn't yell at Herlock.

"Wonderful. Can you remain this open so I can listen too? I can't go there but I still want to listen to it. Please Herlock, O the great detective!"

Herlock doesn't say anything, but you can imagine he's raising his eyebrows with a confused and amused face right now.

"As you wish, my lady, but can I get the reason for why you can't come along? And I don't see Heather either."

You clear your throat, "She's with me since I kind of in sick. My back and belly hurt and I am bleeding regularly."

"You what?!"

"Don't be an idiots Herlock, the regular bleeding within women!"

"Oh."

You roll your eyes and turn to the other side.

"Alright, wish you feel better soon, Miss Pumpkin."

"Thanks."

Hearing Barok's voice always brings you peace.

It doesn't matter it's his crashing glass sound, his insults to the jurors, witness or the defence lawyer. You don't mind those harsh words right now.

His deep, rich and smooth voice is what you need at this moment.

You craved for his comfort words.

You craved for his warm touch or even hugs.

Of course, you know this is all your mind and fragil state tricking you. But you don't want to be reasonable for now.

You are bleeding, what would hurt more about dreaming?

To Noruhodo Ryunosuke, it's not his first time to see Lord van Zieks be annoyed and impatience.

But it's his first time to see that prosecutor be that gloomy and aggressive.

So far, Lord van Zieks broke 7 glasses and 2 bottles of wine, and one leg slam in the first three hours.

His death glares are cold enough to freeze the witness and defendant on the spot. Even Asogi and the judge could feel his stormy mood.

"I see Miss Heather isn't come today, does she feel sick or something, Lord van Zieks?"

The prosecutor cross his arms, his eyes are closed. Then he open them with a neutral face.

"Pray forgiveness for the discourtesy of unfocused in this trial, my Lord. I do be bothered by the reason she can't be here. But the true reason got me so impatient with, is the nonsense of my learned friiend."

Everyone could see your unusual aggressive, Lord van Zieks. And how could this be my fault......

"Be careful, Naruhodo. The enemy is awake now, time to bring it to a new possibility and find the truth." Asogi peeks at his lawyer friend and warned him.

"Oh, ugh, right! Thanks, Asogi."

In the break of twenty minutes, Mr.Sholmes sneak into the lounge.

"It's a bad weather today, don't you think, Mr. Naruhodo?" The detective says and smokes his pipe.

"If you mean the prosecutor, then yes it's worse than usual." Naruhodo slumps and has cold sweats.

"Heather isn't here, could that means that Miss Pumpkin is kind of in trouble or something such?" Asogi puts his fingers under his jaws.

"She's uncomfortable today, feels sick. So I let her my ears." Mr.Sholmes snaps his finger and takes out his phone device.

"We're adjourned for twenty minutes now so you can say hi to the boys, Miss Pumpkin."

"...Hello?"

Naruhodo and Susato cheers in excitement.

"Miss Pumpkin! Are you alright? Mr.Sholmes said......"

"Yeah I heard him, just a normal problem, don't worry about it. And you're doing so well so far, guys."

"But Lord van Zieks is so scary today, he's even scarier to Naruhodo-sama! I thought we'll be hung up or something when this trial has its end."

"Don't - Don't say that, Susato-san!"

"He's in that bad mood? Why? The witnesses or the jurors step on the death line or something?"

"I think the answer is more simpler, Miss Pumpkin." Asogi shakes his head.

"He's in the bad mood cycle like a black cat he is? Is that what you're saying about?"

"True but no."

"You confuse me."

When the baliff announced they need to move, you called Naruhodo's name.

"Naruhodo, I think the cake is a lie, you need to review your judicial records."

"The cake? Oh ugh I will, thanks Miss Pumpkin."

"Mr. Disanst, you said that you were going to a bakery, can you tell us why you were going to there?"

"Oh uhm... You know, my wife has a sweet tooth and she craves the sweet when she's in mood or having a bad pain monthly. So I buy her cake when she doesn't feel good."

Some audience in aww and compliant him.

Yet, Naruhodo found that there's no cake on the table in the photo.

And there's a butter knife on the cabinet, with a cup of tea.

"But it's weird, there's no cake in the photo, a butter knife and a cup of tea with a strong drug in it are set behind the door, right on the cabinet. Can you tell me why and who put them there?"

"Who knows? Maybe my wife? And I didn't eat cake with my wife you see. I was in the living room."

Naruhodo slams the table.

"Objection! I am afraid the cake is a lie, Mr.Disanst."

"You didn't in the living room, you were in the bedroom. You drugged your wife to put her into sleep, and you took this chance to strangle Miss Cassandra to death before you stabbed the butter knife into her chest and left your unconscious wife with the body."

"You-You have no evidence! This are all your imagination! Why would I kill Cassandra?"

"It's the letter and the cake, Mr.Disanst. You cheated on your wife with Miss Cassandra. She baked the cake and you poured the drug in the tea. You two were planning to kill your wife, but you accidentally found her secret, her betrayal with a backup plan to blackmail you. So you killed her, set your own wife up, so you could keep playing the victim role."

The case is dismissed, and Lord van Zieks seems to lost in his thoughts.

After the trial, he rushes to a famous bakery nearby the Court.

I've definitely grown as a writer (not to mention grown UP since these were all written when I was 18-20), but it really is lovely to see that they're still getting love! <3

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? OMGOMGOMGOMG!! Yes!! I love doing it because it lets the commenter know that I've seen their comment, and that I really do appreciate them! No matter how old a fic is, I will comment back as soon as I get that email, haha! In all seriousness, it's my way of giving back a kudos, a sort of "kudos to the reader" if that makes sense. They really do make me smile and I like to print out some of the comments that made me cry happy tears and save them in a scrapbook so that I can read them when writer's block hits me. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Ohhh DEFINITELY I Dreamed A Dream (2022)!! Not only is the title from the Les Mis song of the same name (where Fantine's life is just absolutely ruined), but I did the one thing I never thought I would be able to do... I KILLED one half of the otp!! It's a RyuuSusa fic, and of course, Major Character Death, proceed with caution!

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Oooohhh this is a really hard one since I'm such a sucker for happy endings! I think the one that makes me the happiest now is from The Caterpillar Man (2022). It's a fic I wrote to sort of conceptualize Yujin and Susato's relationship when the former came home from the original study trip, and it takes place over a year and among other tragedies and growth. It's from the perspective of Susato, and I think it's one that still makes me tear up (and I got fanart based on it once!!)

Do you get hate on fics? I've never been John Phoenix'd which is very rude, am I not GOOD enough for you DaKoolGuy?? but in all seriousness, I don't really get hate on specific fics, but because I'm so vocal about a certain pairing (being Ryuu X Susato.... if I'm not supposed to ship, why game make so cute?)

Do you write smut? Not on Ultraviolet_Ink, but I do on Infrared_Quill! Fun fact, Infrared got put on a blacklist when I only had one work, and Ultraviolet wasn't on it, I found it quite funny XD

Do you write crossovers? The Journal of Dr. Yujin Mikotoba (2022-????) is just one giant crossover with ACD canon, and I'm planning on having Raffles and Arsène Lupin making an important appearance in the future! It's very self indulgent XD

Have you ever had a fic stolen? God I hope not

Have you ever had a fic translated? Not to my knowledge, but I do have a blanket statement saying that I am a-okay with a translation of any of my works!

Have you ever co-written a fic before? It's always been in the "omg we should totally do this" phase, but given how I am with my own works, I feel like I would be a nightmare to work with XD

What's your all-time favourite ship? Honestly... It's between HomuMiko and RyuuSusa, especially since that's just what I've been writing recently XD

What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? That's a good question that I don't have a single answer for XD I have a notepad full of a WIP list, but I think one that intrigued me when I first started off was this sort of continuation of the JFA 2-4 bad ending, just kind of coming from the ashes and then De Killer eventually kills Phoenix for betraying Matt Engarde (just because of the principle). It's really interesting to think about, but I honestly don't know how I could workshop it, and I remember stopping because It made me too sad haha! What are your writing strengths? I think I'm getting a lot better at dialogue, especially since I have a very good friend who helps me workshop them through a sort of RP! I would say that I'm also good at making a sort of vibe/ambiance, I know how to dress a scene B-) (Yes I was a theatre kid)

What are your writing weaknesses? Dialogue is also something I struggle a lot with, but I would say I get into my own head too much, and I over think and try to over explain to cover up "holes" (Cracked.Com owes me reparations for this)

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I'm a linguistics nerd, I love writing dialogue in other languages! I even wrote a fic entirely in Latin because I wanted to practice (Miles et Phoenix Romae Sunt (2021)). That being said, you have to use more than Google Translate, I've studied and majored in Spanish, so I'm confident enough in my own skill to write, but I don't really know German despite English being Germanic! So, while I do use Google Translate to get a base understanding, I try to run it by a native speaker, or at the very least, someone who has studied the language, to see if it makes sense haha. Or don't, I'm not your mom, and we're all just doing this for shits and giggles XD

First fandom you wrote for? ...... Oncest Those journals filled with Oncest have been burned since 2014 in the traditional "middle schoolers host a bonfire at the end of the year" that my friends hosted, and they will never see the light of day XD But then again..... how ba-a-a-ad COULD it have been? Tbh, I do regret getting rid of them, not because they were actually lost Great American Novels, but they were something I created and I could look back on and see how I've grown and what I've just stuck with over the years XD

Favourite fic you've ever written? It's honestly a tossup between The Journal of Yujin Mikotoba and The Caterpillar Man! I just love playing around with the empty playground canon left me haha

-> ryunosuke: never fails to make you smile. this man is unintentionally funny. sometimes he just says what he thinks and forgets to filter to himself. and he's hilarious! there aren't many times when you're around runo where you aren't busting up laughing because he's so funny and enjoyable to be around.

-> susato: very honest with you. sometimes honesty can be a bad thing, but with susato its always very appealing to hear her speak so freely and tell you exactly what she thinks. she's human, so there will be times where she lies and such, but she often finds that being honest with you makes for a healthier relationship.

-> kazuma: knows exactly what to say. somehow he can always articulate the exact right thing to say. whether it's some brutal honesty, him giving advice, or even comfort: it's always exactly what you need in that moment. if you ever need a second opinion on anything, kazuma is your best bet.

-> barok: amazing listener. no matter what you need to talk to him about he will always, always listen you out fully. it could be the littlest thing that you just need to get off of your chest but he will absolutely drop everything to just let you vent. will give advice if wanted, but otherwise he is the perfect person if you just need to talk.

-> herlock: remembers everything. sholmes plays dumb a lot. he plays an act like he doesn't know anything but he actually remembers a lot more than he leads on. he will remember obscure things you wants, random things you said months ago, or somewhere you said you wanted to go. he never forgets even the tiniest details about someone he cares about!

sherlock and ryuunosuke with a kid headcanons

sherlock:

he's adopted another kid ?! that's not a surprise seeing how he's like a perfect dad and whatnot. he's perfect because he's so bubbly around children and can be the Cool Dad to some. he's not cruel, he is very leniant and can push the rules to make things seem more fair but if there's anything he's serious about he can and will make himself clear.

he definitely buys the kid all the cool things he thinks they'll like, he's a mind reader and the kid loves all the things he buys. sherlock also makes cool things like plush toys and little robots for the kid.

i can also see the kid bringing one of the plush toys that sherlock makes for them with them when they go out of the house for an outing or if they're simply just shopping at the local market.

he loves to bring the kid on little adventures, nothing dangerous but little outings with iris too to make it the best family outing ever ! he loves to bring you two to the park to have a picnic that you all helped prepare stuff for like the food.

the kid brings their plush to the picnic and hugs it while they're walking to a nice spot in the grass, sherlock holding your hand tight and the wicker basket in the other.

sherlock's drinking nice tea that iris made and is loudly talking to the two of his kids. he loves the both of them and to take a day off from work to relax with his little family he's even more happy than the happiest person in the world !

iris is nibbling on some sandwiches she prepared with her little sibling and smiling at all the words sherlock's saying, taking mental notes because these things could be used in the new script she's writing.

suddenly, sherlock's little kid pulls themselves up from the grass with little flowercrowns (iris taught them how to make them) for both iris and sherlock which flatter them a lot !

sherlock is quick to take off his hat to put on the cute crown of flowers, thanking his little darling and pulling them close to give them a hug and a kiss on the forehead, ruffling their hair too !

iris thanks her little sibling and tells them that she loves the crown, it's so cute and she can't help but squeal in delight, taking the crown and asking how she looked. the picnic is full of hugs, smiles and overall enjoyment !

ryuunosuke:

ryuunosuke is the overly worried and stressed parent of the bunch, worrying about if he's a good parent and always has someone babysitting his kid while he's in court, maybe a certain professor mikotoba......

he is frantically trying to make sure the kid doesn't get hurt and if they do, he's picking them up and sweating buckets as he brings them to the counter to set them on and see to their injury.

he is awkward with kids at first but he learns, susato is a big help to him and his kid sees her as their big sister (found family my beloved) and ryuunosuke as their respective dad. susato is so calm and collected that it makes ryuunosuke jealous. she can help when his child is crying with ease and ryuunosuke would have to go to a lot more lengths to make them stop (they stop crying if he trips on an open shoelace bet).

one day ryuunosuke took his child on a walk with their big sister susie and saw a cute little toy shop a bit ahead on the street. the little kid pointed off to the shop with glee, running off to inspect the contents of the window.

ryuunosuke stuttered as he got a scare at how fast his child could run ! susato chuckled at the eagerness of them. they really reminded her of ryuunosuke. he rushed up to see what was up and saw his kid staring into the thick glass.

he looked in the shop and saw that his kid was staring at the cute eyes of a plush mouse with big ears (guess who hehee). he looked into the sparkly eyes of his kid and back at the plush. he sighed and took out his wallet to see what money he had for the plush.

the plush was.. what ?! did he have enough money for that ?! he frantically looked in his wallet with sweaty palms and double—triple—quadruple checked that he was short of money and wasn't hiding any coins.... which it wasn't, that was the sad truth.

ryuunosuke put the money back in his wallet and sighed in defeat, apologising to his kid with a hand on their shoulder. he didn't like admitting he didn't have enough money for the plush but it was the best thing to do. that is until susato rushed up to them with her hand holding something.

"n-naruhodou-sama ! wait !" susato had noticed from the start that his kid was fascinated with something in the toy shop and watched the events unfold in front of her. "i have the remaining amount of money here to purchase the plush toy, here you go." she offered the last couple bits of money to him as a wave of relief washed over him.

"t-thank you, susato-san !" he put his hands together in a big thank you, "i'll pay you back as soon as possible !" smiling at his kid, he took the two into the shop to purchase the cute plush ! susato was met with a hug from two people (and a plush mouse) and smiled at the thanks she was getting.

The present itself is something she spent a lot of money on for you. It looks fancy, but she also made sure it was something you'd use every day too. She would be the type to buy you a fancy new phone tbh.

Acts like the gift was no big deal and if you don't like it then you can use the receipt and exchange it. But she's really keeping a close eye on your reactions and she hopes you enjoy the gift.

Maya

Her gift comes in a bag with the colored tissue paper to obscure the gift. Just something easy to open and pull the gift out so there's not a huge mess. And she sucks at wrapping presents anyway so it's easier for her too.

It ends up being a gift card for a nice restaurant that you both can go to together. Not a super fancy restaurant, but one that's nice enough for a date.

Sure, she might have gotten the gift because it's something she would've loved to receive, but it's also something that you both can do together. Saving money and eating yummy food is always a fun date in her mind.

Susato

Buys you something practical. It might not be the prettiest or fanciest, but she buys you something she hopes you use in your daily life.

She's a bit self conscious about her gift because it's not something super shiny and pretty. She knows you'll use it, but she is eyeing your reaction carefully to make sure you do enjoy her gift.

It's a nice pretty present that she wraps it in. Simple wrapping paper with a ribbon to tie it together. It's obvious that she took great care in wrapping the gift (as she did with picking it out).

A small clanking sound, heard only outside the garden where the owner of the house was walking around her small garden holding a small basket, only halfway filled with white and yellow chrysanthemum flowers, each one of them looks fresh after yesterday's rain droplet hits the pedals making them glaze like a refine glass. 

The woman still walking around her small garden suddenly stood still at an Indigoletta rose before her. She planted this rose ten years prior and still to this day she still always manages to take such delicate care of the rose. But no matter how gorgeous the rose she only brushed her fingertips to the glistening petals and her eyes full of longing when she touched it. Feeling that her staring will do nothing, her fingertips went back to her batch of flowers then back to what she was doing.

The woman looked at the baskets and noticed that it seemed odd. Like something was missing, she couldn't understand it, she has been doing this many times and why does she only feel this kind of strangeness, like she forgot something but not knowing what it is she can’t figure it out herself. Before the woman could succumb to her thoughts she heard a knock at her door. 

With a quick movement and a slight sigh, she put away the chrysanthemums and walked into her living room to see who could be at the door.

 Opening the door she found the tan skin, looped hair and pink wearing jōgakusei girl-her unofficial apprentice - Mikotoba Susato. The girl smiled brightly at the sight of her tutor and gave a small but respectful bow as a greeting.

 “Good afternoon, Professor.” said the young woman with a gentle smile on her face. The tall woman nodded. “Good afternoon, Mikotoba. What brings you here today? I'm pretty sure that our next turtoring shall be next week and I'm also sure that you're going to be the last person who gets dates wrong, so what is it?"

  With a soft giggle the young girl shook her head. “No, no, I am not here for another toturing. And I am definitely did not forget the date, but I came here because…” She paused and took some papers from her school bag, handing them over to her tutor. “Father wants me to give you this papers, it's legal papers for me to be recognised as a judicial assistant in the eyes of British law." She said while her toture receive the papers while looking with a mild dejected face. "They're still hanging to it huh?" said the woman who just sighed while she adjusted the papers to the nearby table.

"And also," the woman now perked "Kazuma-sama wanted your presence in our state after dinner, to be precise 7:40 pm sharp, he'll be waiting in his room he said, by the look at his face I feel like it's very serious so I guarantee that you may come and seek him." the girl said while the other woman listened intently. 

The woman can only look at the girl and nod to her "Certainly, I wouldn't mind. If it's that important then I'll surely come over and talk to him." The young girl noticing the banjo clock behind the woman hitting an exact 8:50 am said, "Now then I think it's my que to leave, you do need time to read and sign all the papers," the girl said seemingly "So I'll be off and don't worry I'll be telling Kazuma-sama. Thank you!'' The young Mikotoba can give her a sweet smile and a small bow. 

The woman nodded as a reply and waved goodbye to her before closing the door. She sighed again and put the papers on the table before heading to the bathroom to freshen up a bit. As the door closed behind her the young upcoming judicial assistant glanced at the door with the name of her female proffesor and looked at it with some sort of determination.

'I know that you'll find the courage to step foot on that place again,'

- susato would be... very hesitant about cuddling. it’s not that she’s afraid, she’s just not used to physical affection.

- it would start out slow, like giving soft hugs while she’s cooking or a quick kiss on the lips before leaving for work.

- one day however, while you were working in your office, she comes up behind you and wraps her arms around your shoulders.

- your heart melts. you just smile and give her a kiss on the forehead, quickly whispering “i love you” before scooping her up into your arms and moving the two of you into your shared bed.

- holmes loves cuddling you. the two of you are working? he’s cuddling you. hanging out on the couch? cuddling you.

- he’s basically attached to the hip with you. it doesn’t matter what you’re doing, he always has to be with you.

- if you have to leave for work before him, he whines and cries for one more kiss or one more hug. he just absolutely adores the affection you give him.
