okay so i have a lot of important grad school stuff to do this week, which means I'm procrastinating it and working more on the results for @asphodeldreams and I's survey from this summer.

Oh, to be clear, I am saying that I think breed clubs should be more like the UDC in being dedicated to providing this to their breed, rather than saying "make it work with what we have", and my frustration about people campaigning every weekend and driving long hours but then complaining they can't do the same is *entirely* throwing shade at dobe people. It is very annoying to hear someone whine that they can't possibly make it out to the incredibly accessible (by comparison, to other breeds) options we have and in the next breath talk about how they're going to drive from RI to KS to show at the specialty. Like, you can't drive 2.5 hours to the temperament test literally invented to be easier for your dog to pass and supposed to require 0 training, but you can drive almost 24 for a four day show? Really?

Because I do think at its heart it's a breed club issue. If the breed club is not prioritizing ensuring that ALL factors of a breed are supported, then it will inevidibly leave some behind and you will have the issue you are currently having with your mudi. If there is no herding to be found then how can the breed club better support you? One answer is that the breed club could offer their own herding tests and move them every year to different regions to make sure everyone gets at least one chance to try within a dog's typical lifetime (UDC does this with their national for exactly this reason), or could work with what herding folks do exist locally to make sure it's offered fairly to all herders (gsd clubs often do this because people get weird with shepherds on stock), or could offer money pulled in from club dues to members to support them getting stock in exchange for allowing other members to work their dogs on said stock (the swissy club does this because a lot of people get weird about drovers on stock).

Tldr I feel strongly about this because it is my opinion that the breed club needs to be supporting you in this. You have named the problem, and you are not alone in that frustration. But I also think it becomes a self-defeating cycle- it is difficult in your region to herd with a mudi, so people don't do it, and so because people don't do it, no one offers it, and so because no one offers it, people don't do it, etc. If the club could provide even a smidge more support and make it happen that even just instinct tests are more accessible, more people would do it (as you have just said if the barrier of transport and time cost was removed, you'd be interested), and if more people do it, more people offer it, making it even more accessible than before.

When I first started Creed in Mondio, there were 3 other dobe people in this country loudly participating in the sport, which was also fairly uncommon. Nine years later and the amount of clubs have at least doubled and there's a dobe or two in most. As a result my travel time turned from a 10 hour ride to a 4 hour ride. I used to not even be able to do that, and now I can. I used to not be able to afford it and with my heart problems that long of a drive was incredibly dangerous. My situation has changed, and I have more ability to do this. But then, I was not trying to breed when I had Creed, and thus lies the original point.

A breeding dog from a breed intended to work should be evaluated on its ability to do said work. Otherwise how do you know if the dog you breed to compliments your dog's working temperament? How do you know if your dog is going to pass on "I would rather kill the sheep than herd the sheep" without making sure your dog does not want to savage the sheep? How do you know if your dog is going to pass on "I am terrified of the sheep and will desperstely try to escape the pen" or "I do not care about sheep but I do care about rolling in poop"? Breeding to a stud or bitch that has their HIT doesn't stop making this a gamble- if you don't know the total picture of what you're putting into the pot, you don't know what kind of soup you're gunna pull out either.

But, again, this is why your breed club needs to be doing something about this. This is not "use what you have and don't complain" but "why is your breed club not putting on these tests since the people in your local area refuse to be friendly to novices" and "people who complain about barriers existing that magically don't exist when they're doing something else are being hypocritical (largely dobe people)". As said, instinct tests should not require lessons, should be pass/fail, and should be offered at the *least* at the specialties put on by the breed clubs. Same with novice titles, honestly, but those take training. Breed clubs are supposed to be leading the way in preserving and bettering the breed. So why can't they help their members make sure that's actually happening?

Also, not sure if it's clear, but I'm also not saying that you can't show confo unless you get these instinct tests and novice titles (that *is* how UDC does it, you must pass the temperament test held in the morning of the show before you can do confo in the afternoon, unless you've already passed it at a previous show, but again that's waaaaaaaaaaay more accessible than things are for a lot of breeds right now) but rather that confo is a single piece of the puzzle.

In UDC, you need confo, temperament test, and a novice title to get a CH. You don't need to do it all the same weekend. A friend of mine got two of three required CCs for her CH and her temperament test last weekend. She got her BH last year. She needs one more CC to get her UDC CH and she should get it easily at her next UDC event. The dog is 3 and has been to 2 total UDC events, so not running out of time at all. It is possible to do it this way and not screw everyone over. The breed club just needs to actually support its members.

Dobe friend had a post of basically "share your controversial dog show opinions" and mine were as follows:

Breeds that require crop/dock should allow naturals to show next to them. At this point much of the world has it banned so by refusing to allow European or otherwise dogs to show alongside the Americans, all you do is further split the breed. Manmade decisions regarding ears and tails change nothing about the dogs genetically and thus should not be seen as a fault or DQ.

Breeds intended to do some form of work should have even a minor level of title or temperament test as a requirement for a CH. If your herding dog cannot pass a herding test, it doesn't matter how well it fits standard or moves or has correct angles. If it's really about breed preservation, then we need to address the problem of show dogs that can't work.

There should be written critiques. It is not helpful when the only knowledge you get is that the judge pointed at one dog and not the other. Give competitors more than "I guess the judge liked this dog". What made that dog better than all the rest? Show your work!

Right so a LOT of you showed support on my Aot merch survery post where I asked you all if you'd like me to create ship keychains!

So I've been thinking about it, and I had an idea that might work well for this! I would need to talk to my manufacturer to see if this is possible.

Basically because there are SO MANY ships in Aot, I wouldn't be able to draw them all. And that would suck!! Because there are many good ship!

So what if each character would be its own keychain, as half of a heart, and then when put together with any other character they form a full heart💜 they would all be double sided of course.

This means you could mix and match any ship! Any way you want!

And in terms of designs, I would go for the S4 style, so when everyone is older. And even if I added characters from earlier in the series, like Marco, they would be drawn as if they were still alive by the end of s4 :) what do you think?

PSA: GatheringFiKi is back!

Hello, my favourite people!

If you've been with us for some time, following the mis-adventures of this little, but mighty fandom, or perhaps even taking part in them from time to time, you'll be delighted to hear that we are now in a position to resume normal service.

If you're joining us just now and wondering what on earth is going on - welcome! We are a small community focussed around the Fili/Kili pairing (and other fictional pairings fortrayed by Dean and Aidan), which has always traditionally ran frequent events to generate new content and encourage fan interactions.

Our activity was kinda suspended a year ago when our admin, @linane-art scampered off to travel the world for a year.

I have no idea why I'm writing this in 3rd person. Ahem, anyway - I'm back. And here's what I'd like to do with GatheringFiKi:

Firstly, I'd like to figure out how many content creators we actually have at the moment, since these folks are my audience. So if you are currently actively writing / creating artwork or edits in the Fili/Kili fandom, or plan on doing so in the near future, please REPLY TO THIS POST. Please also feel free to forward it to anyone who might want to respond.

Whatever else happens, there will be a 12 Days of Christmas event happening in 2023! I have no idea how many photosets I will actually be able to make before mid-November, but I'm aiming for at least a couple. It's such a highlight of every Christmas for me, I can't wait!

There may or may not also be some little prompts posted for Halloween this year. This would be about a week before the 31st, a very informal little event.

Whatever else happens, from now on, I would like to see GF becaome an amplifier for any and all new Fili/Kili content. Updates to your existing fics, new fics, artwork, edits, photosets, and not just the things 'worthy of recs'. ANY new Fili/Kili content - please submit or send us a link and we will re-blog, so it reaches more folks.

If we still have a decent number of creators, we will go back to running events. The plan would be to run a survery before the end of 2023 for you to pick your favourite events and run 3-4 of those accross 2024.

If we don't have creators, I will focus on delivering only the 12 Days of Christmas event annually and promoting any new FiKi content as above, based on the assumption that we're all reverting to focussing on our own works and posting them unprompted.

If you have any ideas, comments, or concerns about how this community could/should be ran - please let us know!

Calling all systems!

How systems vary and are the same throughout the community has always been super interesting to us, so we made a survey to collect data and learn more!! Ultimately the movement for equality will survive petty word problems like this. So its not the biggest deal in the world. Whatever words people use, I'm glad that people are having more conversations about it. But i still wish people would use the words as originally intended. Because of all the stuff i just said but secretly mostly because thats just what the fucking words mean its brain different versus brain variety versus brain common and i dont get how people get it so wrong when the guide to which word is which is RIGHT THERE

I basically consider it a lost cause at this point, and i believe that the meaning of words is how their used and all that, so I'm not fighting against it too hard and creating unnecessary conflict. However

I am really perplexed by the usage of neurodivergent vs neurodiverse. It just seems like a very simple and clear distinction, i dont get how and why people are using them interchangably/using neurodiverse for both.

The word constructions seem very simply to me

Neuro = brain

Typical = common/normal

Divergent = unusual/different

Diverse = a wide variety

Finally deciding to post my oneshots I've written. I'm still new to writing so be patient, please.

Pairing: next door neighbor Chris x YNreader

Title: The Next Door Neighbor

It was a peaceful day. You cleaned your apartment, took out the trash and even pampered yourself. And since it was your day off, you didn't have anywhere to go so this was the perfect opportunity for you. You scrubbed the kitchen and bathroom floors, vaccummed, cleaned the kitchen and the fridge. By 2pm, your whole apartment was clean and shiny.

Now all was left to do was laundry. As you started the first load, you hear the music starting. "Oh, for fuck sake," you curse, rubbing your nose bridge. "Not again."

Your next door neighbor, albeit new, he would play music everyday, to the point where it disturbed your sleep. The music was mostly pop and rock. You didn't mind it for the first few days when he moved but now, it was starting to get on your nerves. The music volume raises a bit and you've had it. This ends now.

Marching your way out your apartment, you bang on the door next to yours. After a beat, the door swings open revealing the man you saw a week ago. Shirtless. Holy....the abs were defined, the arms. Oh the arms. You snap your head at the very man himself. "Can you please turn the music down?"

He surverys you from toe to head before the corner of his lips turn up. He's smirking? What the fuck? "Well, since you asked nicely," he turns and shouts. "Alexa, turn the volume to 15."

You hear the Alexa turning down the volume. He turns back and says, "There. That should do it."

"Thank you," you replied.

But as you turn around, you see your ex walking towards me. You groan internally. "Joe, what are you doing here?"

"Y/N, I wanted to talk," he says.

You roll my eyes and step towards your apartment but Joe blocks the way. "Y/N, please."

"No," you replied firmly. "Now move."

"Why? Am I not good enough?"

"Oh save it," you snapped. "I don't need to hear this, especially from you." You take a step and he suddenly grabs your arm.

"I'm here to talk. So let's talk."

"Joe, let go!" You wriggle your arm but he doesn't budge.

And you forgot mention that this is all happeneing in front of your neighbour. "Come on, Y/N. It'll be like the old times."

"Let her go."

You and Joe freeze and turn to see your neighbor. "This doesn't concern you," Joe states.

Your neighbor grabs Joe's arm and pries it off your arm. "It does when she's my girlfriend."

Your eyes widen, blinking at your neighbor. Since when? Is what you want to ask. "Girlfriend?" Joe asks.

"Yes."

You could only stare at your neighbor.

"Is this true, Y/N?" Joe asked again but was now looking at you. Anger and sadness in his eyes.

Your neighbor turns and looks down at you, almost saying to play along. You intertwine your hand with your neighbor's, loving the way his warm hand fits yours. "Yes."

"I don't believe you," Joe says.

"Hey, now. We just told yo-"

You cut your neighbor's words short by cupling his face, going on your tiptoes and crashing your lips to his. You caught him by surprise but god, his lips felt like heaven. But as he opens his mouth, you forget about everything around you. Your mind was going through so many emotions.

Your heard Joe's footsteps walk away. You snap out of your thoughts and push your neighbor away. Running into your apartment, you close the door and slide down on the floor, breathing heavy. You touch your lips. That kiss......

An hour later, the music turns up again as you were trying to read a book.

This time, you knock on his door. And when it opens this time, he's wearing all black. You had to take a second to collect yourself. "The music?" He asks.

"Uh, yeah."

"No can't do, something is wrong with Alexa."

"Oh?" You say, your hands itching to fix something.

But you'd rather take that black sweats off. "Would it be too much to ask if I could fix it?"

He steps aside, an invitation to come inside. You walk inside and could feel his stare on your ass. You had a nice ass. You worked for it every day in the gym. "It's in the kitchen."

You make a beeline for the kitchen, catching a glimpse of his room on the way. You spot the alexa and immediately unplug it before plugging it back in. "Can I get you anything? Coffee? Tea? Juice? Water?"

"Water is fine, thanks," you replied.

As Alexa rebooted, he places the glass of water in front of you. "Thank you," you say and take big sip. "I think it should be fixed now."

"Alexa, play Lego House by Ed Sheeran at volume 10." Alexa plays the song at a vey low volume

"I never got to ask your name," he asks. "I'm Chris, by the way."

The accent was doing things to your brain. You were a sucker for accents and Australian was your number 1. "Oh, it's Y/N."

"Y/N," he says your name. Now THAT was music to your ears. "Say, that was some kiss back there."

"Oh," you nervously laugh. "Sorry about that. Joe, my ex, will probably leave me alone now."

"Seems like it too," he replied and walks towards you till he's an arms lenght away from you. "Because if you were my girl, I wouldn't even consider having you as my ex."

Your cheeks warm. He smirks. "But I'm not?"

"Pity," he tsked.

You gaped at him, rubbing your thighs because you were very uncomfortable. Your brain only wanted one thing now. A release. But he was your neighbor! Whom you just met!

A very hot and sexy neighbor. You clear your throat. "I'd better go." You walk out of his apartment and go back to yours, ready for bed.

But sleep doesn't come. You toss and turn, trying your best to fall asleep. But you were too aroused at this point to sleep. Watching a movie didn't help. You glance at the wall you shared with Chris and groan. Why did you have to kiss him? And why did he kiss you back?

Frustrated, you march to his door again. As you go to knock, the door swings open. "Y/N? What are you doing here?"

You look at him, wearing grey sweats, black curly hair on display and shirtless. That was all you need for the gears to turn in your head. You step inside, cup his face and bring him down on your lips. He moans at the contact as his hands snake around your waist.

You were now flushed against him as his hand curl around the underside of your hips, pusbing up making you jump on him. With his mouth still on yours, he leads you both to his room, shutting the door with his door.

People say you should be nice to your neighbors. Well, in this case, he was nice to you. Inside and out, making you scream his name which echoed throughout his apartment.

My Hange Zoë HC’s

The man, the myth, the legend. The 14th Commander of the Survery Corps and eccentric Titan lover, Hange is my favourite character from AOT and is pretty much my absolute comfort character, so I just wanted to share some very random headcanons which I have come up with while working on my fanfics. Some are canonical information that I have expanded upon, some are inspired by others that I have seen, and some are completely original. (All I ask is that you please don’t attack me for any that you may disagree with)

Feel free to ask me any questions about these.

1) AFAB, mainly uses gender neutral pronouns but also comfortable with feminine and masculine ones.

2) They are pansexual and genderfluid, and I also hc them as somewhat polyam as I ship them with Moblit, Levi, and Pieck (kinda controversial, I know)

3) Zoë Avery Hange is their full legal name, but they prefer to use just Hange because it’s more gender-neutral. They dislike their middle name.

4) Hans is a nickname given to them by their Father who was killed by an abnormal on a scouting expedition while they were little. It came from Hange’s difficulty with saying their surname as a child as they would say their surname was Hans.

5) A few years after their father’s death, their mother remarried; it was their stepfather that made Hange run away to join the Cadets.

6) Forced to live as a girl when they were young as their stepfather accused their mother of “enabling” Hange’s “delusional behaviour”

7) They have very little regard for their own safety because of their stepfather not caring about what they were doing.

8) Has younger half-siblings who are the golden children of the family - Hange is the black sheep in their stepfather’s and half siblings’ eyes.

9) They had a girlfriend in the early days of being a cadet and the pair were incredibly close, but their partner died on an expedition. Moblit was the first person who they loved afterwards.

10) After Moblit’s death, Levi caught them during a depressive episode and was able to stop them from doing anything stupid. He was there for them through the grieving process and it only made their friendship stronger, and it progressed into a full-blown romance.

This is all I have for the time being. I’m still coming up with more of these as I write, and I’m hoping for the first chapter of my post-rumbling LeviHan fic to be published soon too.

I will most likely be making a part 2 of this in future.

RvB Survey Results Video - Favorite Character Intros

Hello everyone! I know @asphodeldreams will probably be making a post of his own about it since his blog is primarily where we're hosting all of the survey stuff, but I did want to make a particular post about this here since this has been pretty much all I have done for the past couple weeks.

This video is a compilation of all of the answers we received to the question of "Most memorable character introduction?", which we received roughly 259 answers for out of the 308 people who took the survey (full disclosure for transparency, asphodel and I also took the survey and added in our own answers. those numbers are included in the 259/308. answers where someone wrote in multiple intros were split apart and counted for each character submitted. if my math in the video doesn't add up please let me know, i did my best but math and I don't get along very well.)

If you have any questions about why I made a choice I made, or have any other questions / comments / concerns, then feel free to shoot me an ask or comment on this post! I plan on trying to make a few more videos like this for some of the other questions, but with grad school starting up next month my free time is gonna be a bit more spread around, so that will probably be a slow process. This is really more of a bonus, anyways - just something to help people visualize some of the results a bit better, doesn't actually impact when we upload new batches of results. It's also a great way for me to practice my video editing skills so I can feel justified in keeping that on my resume, lol. more detailed information about how i did the tallying / editing is under the read more (what the video refers to as “the description), but I hope y'all enjoy :)

Some characters are shown with just one clip, while others may have multiple. Reasons why some have multiple include, but are not limited to; - Being initially introduced in a mini-series, and providing a main series clip in addition - Re-introductions of the character at a later point - I couldn't find one good clip to use for the video - I really just wanted to use a second clip for that character, lol

So some characters have multiple clips, and some have longer clips because I could not find a good way to cohesively edit certain scenes.

If multiple people suggested the same scene for multiple characters, then for the most part those characters are generally all just lumped in with whoever had the most votes.

When I was initially trying to get it onto YouTube, I made a few editing changes - like putting music under some Season One clips. After giving up on YouTube, I removed all the visual effects I added, but left some of the music because otherwise the scene just sounded really quiet mixed in with everything else, and I had grown rather fond of some of the music spots. Also, I did my best to kind of equalize the audio mixing, but I definitely didn't get it perfect. Shouldn't be anything too surprisingly loud, though.

This took me Way longer to make than I would care to admit, and I had a nightmare of a time trying (and failing) to get it past YouTube Content ID, but it's finally up now and ready for all to see :)

(A/N: Ofc anon! I haven’t had an Erwin request in so long that I forgot to even go back and fix up past posts to fit my blog’s current theme better, so thanks for the reminder lmao. Enjoy~)

There was no doubt you were a daddy’s girl. From for first visit to HQ, to your more recent visits, it was immediately and widely known; You were the newly appointed Commander’s daughter.

Not only did your appearance make that obvious, sharing in his blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, but the very air you carried into every room you occupied had everyone certain of this fact.

For a time, until you were around halfway through your adolescence, you’d stayed away from your father’s profession. But finding nothing entertaining enough among the lives of fellow citizens around you, nor thought provoking enough for your taste, you’d make the choice on your own to join your father.’s side in the Corps.

At first, he’d been hesitant to accept you into the Scouting Corps, and only later would you realize this was out of fear for losing you like he had your mother. But after some time, and late night talks with him in his office, he’d finally relented; you would join them in their exploration for information beyond the walls.

For a time, he chose not to play favorites, and you remained a cadet under a squad he had command over. But after only a short time within the ranks, and much to the speculation of favoritism from fellow branch officers, you quickly rose up from cadet to captain, and from captain to section commander at Erwin’s side.

He of course was quick to dispel such rumors, and was oh so, so proud to see you climbing the rank ladder so swiftly.

You were his daughter, after all. Of course you would excel quickly.

Once talk died down of Erwin choosing his elites from personal preference, something that was never true to begin with, word began to spread of not only your likeness to your father with intellect and integrity within meetings you would frequently attend, but also while out on the field.

Not only were you willing to lay down your life for the future cause, but you were clever. Cunningly so. And incredibly dangerous with a blade.

The amount of times you’d swindled a man out of coin for the Survery Corp’s budget simply by speaking overly formally and confusing the hell out of high ranking military personnel’s were beyond count.

And honestly, Erwin couldn’t have been more proud.

He believed stealing was wrong, of course, but was this really stealing if they offered coin so freely after hardly understanding a word his daughter’s highly educated mind spoke?

Of course, he was proud of you for far more than your ability to sway decisions into your favor, thought you’d learned it from him.

He was proud also of your resolve, and your underlying devotion to every cause you dedicated your heart to. Which, frankly, with your spacious heart, was displayed often.

On a lighter note though, we all know Erwin is a total dad. I mean your typical suburban father figure who cracked the corniest jokes. So of course, as his daughter, you would get a whole other side to his personality than most did.

While his rules might be strict at times, out of fear for losing you on the battlefield, they were most strict when it came to the matter of your personal life.

“I understand the Captains are going out for a drink tonight in celebration, but I expect you to be back at base by 10pm. And no boys, you hear? I’ve already had a chat with Hange and Levi to keep an eye on you.”

Besides losing to the titans and losing valuable information, his greatest fear by far was to see you suffer in any way relating to the way he had. Whether that be romantically, or through losing as much as he had in his past.

He wanted nothing but the best for you, something he only had for the brief time he still had his parents and wife around to keep him company and to love on.

Now that they were gone, he knew he would not waste a single second of his time with you in fear that you could face what he had.

Beyond his desire to reach the Jeager’s basement in Shiganshina, was his desire to protect and provide for his only living kin; you.

Vividly you remembered the promise he had made you as a child; “One day, I will provide a free world, all for you to explore and love your fullest in. And I’ll be with you, all the way.”

And all the way up until the bitter end, he held true his promise to you. Despite the loss falling all around you, he had indeed provided a way in which for you to explore the open word around you. He had been right, after all; Paradis was not alone.

With his spirit guiding you forward, you did what the both of you had always dreamed of doing, once the war had finally come to an end; exploring the vast world around you with a heart lightened of all burden.

i basically only put this question in to say that i am actually still planning to do more of that. turns out trying to draw s/t unrelated to anything else every week means you have less time for your big projects. whoops!

the general feedback question actually gave me a lot of really nice replies which i honestly appreciate. and also multiple people telling me to do the deepsea fangame or offering to help. we'll see what happens with that (i do at least plan to draw the cast more this year). there's a couple of specific things i might answer in another post.

I think that's frankly incredible, 11 years after the first of the films came out! "We may be few in numbers, but we're fighters!" In fact, I think we have just as many Creators as Thorin had in his Company...

If I'm missing anyone, or if you'd like to be added to the list, please let me know. These folks are now gonna be getting notifications about any upcoming events. Because yes, we will go back to running some events in the future, but they will not be as frequent as pre-2022.

And so...

We will be running a Trick or Treat Event between 21 Oct and 31 Oct, similar to the one we ran in 2021. The announcement post will go up later today. ;)

There will be a 12 Days of Christmas 2023! It will likely include fewer photosets, although if our edits creators would like ot make some prompt photosets of their own - please contact @linane-art and I can talk you through their required standards (just to keep things consistent).

Before the end of 2023 (look out for it around or just after Christmas) we will run a survery for you to pick a couple of your favourite events, out of all the events we have ever ran, and set up 3-4 of those accross 2024.

hi, I'm just curious if you ever posted the results of that piracy survery you did a while back?

Not yet, but it will happen! I realise it really has been a while since I did it, but I rather overwhelmed myself with the extent of the response data I needed to sort through. And then I realised not all the data is actually relevant (/viable?) because I hadn't phrased certain questions appropriately for the scope of the survey, which put me off. And then I got busy and stressed with other commitments and *waves hands vaguely* stuff slipped.

Ironically enough, I've actually started poking at it again in the last week or so and I've figured out a better way to do it, so... It's coming soon, maybe? Or at least, I've got it pinned as a semi-priority for Jan/Feb before my study course starts in earnest.

“You’re kicking me out of the village?!” Samael exclaims, both confused and a bit frustrated. Yūrei frowned, feeling terrible about the decision to banish Samael, even if it wasn’t his choice.

“I know this is all quite sudden, and frankly, I do not agree with this decision, but the commander wants you gone.” “but why?” “They seem to think you caused….well, all this.”

Yūrei gestures to the sky, which is now tinged red and flowing with distorted energy. Samael looks off into the distance, staring at the sky, he turns back to look at Yūrei, now slightly frustrated. “So you’re banning me from the village because the sky turned red?” He asked, annoyed. “I am not banning you, the survery corps is. The choice here is not mine.” Yūrei explained, shaking his head. He never wanted this, and he didn’t expect this, but here we are.

“You’re part of the survey corps! Why can’t you say something to them?!” Samael exclaimed angrily. Yūrei shook his head and sighed. He knew this decision was beyond him, he couldn’t tell the higher ups what to do. He wished he could keep samael in his home in secret, but that would only cause more trouble for him and the survery corp. “I am not the boss of this place, Samael. I do not make the rules or the orders around here...”

“this is bullshit. I spent all this time taming nobles and catching Pokémon to log in the dex for this corporation, just to be kicked out because the distortion up on mount coronet got a little unstable and changed the color of the sky.”

Yūrei stood still and listened to Samael’s complaint. “I’m sorry, Samael. You have to leave. I wish I could tell them otherwise, but my hands are tied….perhaps I will see you again one day, perhaps in the Cobalt coastla—“

“I HATE YOU!!!”

Samael screamed, interrupting Yūrei, tears forming in his eyes. After that outburst, Samael turn and ran. He felt as though he had been wrongfully banished from Jubilife village. What did he even do?! What caused the distortion up on mount coronet to grow stronger and worse? And how was this his fault?! He didn’t do anything to cause all this, and now he had nowhere to go. He had nothing but his Pokémon, his supplies, and the vast, wild lands of Hisui.
