Maybe it's me but #puertorico #usvirginislands and other parts of the #caribbean have been hit by horrible hurricanes several days ago and maybe it's me, but wtf is the hold up with getting help to the victims!!!😡 I just don't understand why there aren't plans in place to immediately fully assist when disasters occur to our fellow #americans and #caribbeanfamily when we already knew it would be devastating!!!😡. I'm confused and feel helpless and I can not possibly understand what the victims are going through!!! I have family and friends in these effected areas but even if I didn't, I travel to these places several times a year every year and have always been met with love and open arms by the locals!!! Now to see that my donations and donations from other people have not reached the victims who so desperately need help is just mind blowing!!! Maybe it's me, but shit just feels completely unbelievable!!! Time for some truth talking.   This is such an intelligent insight into a very inflammatory subject in the UK right now.

But totally relevant to every situation like this.   Why do people automatically think that a woman might not be telling the truth about being raped.

If this backlash against the victim has made even one person decide not to come forward about a similar thing happening to them then we should all be ashamed of ourselves.
