The saddest part about tonight's episode was that Lena truly only has Lex to bounce ideas off of right now. She is so alone that she has to ask the World's Biggest Sociopath himself to confirm that she, Lena, is not becoming evil. And Lex is such a master manipulator that he says exactly what Lena needs to hear -- that he, unlike Supergirl, supports everything she is doing and will help her achieve her noble goals.

Especially Narcissists and Socio/psychopaths. He’s reenforcing her own thoughts that she’s not doing anything that bad. He’s quelling that voice in her head that’s telling her that maybe his is too far. He’s appealing to her ego. Look how smart you are! You’re a genius and yet good! How unfortunate for us evil people. Drat. She doesn’t understand that what he’s doing is manipulative. I am so very afraid for Lena.
