Change has come with Husqvarna Motorcycles unveiling new generation enduro models for 2024. All-new platform and multiple technical advancements raise the bar for next level enduro performance. Allowing riders to master terrain like never before, Husqvarna Motorcycles’ all-new 2024 TE and FE machines set a new standard for riding offroad. Expertly crafted with new frames, subframes, bodywork, suspension, and brakes, the extended list of shared innovations across the new enduro platform was introduced to further improve overall rideability. With every model continuing to deliver outstanding performance, riders will undoubtedly embrace and benefit from the technical changes made to all seven class-leading machines. Offering predictable damping, the new enduro-specific WP suspension allows riders to conquer technical sections with complete confidence and control. The WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring forks incorporate a mid-valve piston for smooth action and consistent performance, while a hydrostop in the final 68 mm of travel helps to maintain forward momentum. A redesigned WP XACT shock features a new piston to improve comfort and is 100 g lighter and 15 mm shorter while retaining 300 mm of travel. Both the fork and shock settings can be adjusted by hand for a fast and easy personalised set-up.

Designed to work in perfect harmony with the WP suspension is a new chromium molybdenum steel frame. Improving anti-squat behaviour and offering revised flex characteristics, the chassis, which includes a new and much more durable hybrid subframe, guarantees each machine delivers exceptionally agile handling with confidence-inspiring straight-line stability. Wrapped around the new chassis is new bodywork that is adorned with modern, Swedish-inspired graphics and a new high-grip seat cover. Offering an improved 'rider triangle', to ensure more knee contact and therefore better control, the slim design of the bodywork also offers complete freedom of movement when riding while standing up. The updated bodywork is completed by a redesigned headlight, producing a brighter light output and is installed using a much more efficient and user-friendly mounting system. For the new generation, the TE 150, TE 250 and TE 300 2-stroke models are now powered by new engines, fuelled using Throttle Body Injection (TBI) technology. Introduced to ensure these lightweight machines maintain their best-in-class performance, TBI guarantees a much more consistent and controllable spread of power throughout the rev range, even in the toughest of conditions. The FE 250 and FE 350 machines benefit from new and much more compact DOHC engines. These are positioned in the frame two degrees backwards when compared to the previous generation, which further centralises mass and contributes to the improved anti-squat behaviour of the chassis. In addition, both engines are designed to position all major components as centrally as possible for improved handling and to generate maximum torque and power. All models in the range take the enduro riding experience to new levels thanks to advanced electronics. The EMS (engine map selection) allows each machine to offer two pre-set riding maps to suit varying terrain, with each gear selected engaging a tailored power delivery. The 4-stroke models offer additional rider aids including Traction Control and a Quickshifter for positive upshifts, even under heavy load. The line-up is complete with premium components shared across the range including a new LED headlight, enhanced BRAKTEC brakes with high performance GSK discs, a combined start/stop button, ProTaper handlebars, and Michelin enduro tyres. On the global racing stage, Billy Bolt’s most recent success clearly underlines Husqvarna Motorcycles’ reputation as a highly competitive manufacturer. Competing in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, the Husqvarna Factory Racing star secured his third consecutive title indoors to once again demonstrate the exceptional capability of the FE 350.

A superenduro-világbajnokság mezőnye az MVM Dome-ban adott randevút egymásnak szombaton, és bűr a Prestige-kategória sztárja, Billy Bolt ismét dadalmaskodott, a magyar szurkolók Zsigovits Norbert győzelmének és Liszka Roland harmadik helyének örülhettek. Tizennégyezer néző, parázs hangulat, a pályán pedig elképesztő tűzijáték – a szó szoros, és átvitt értelmében is. Jöttek, csak jöttek az emberek, türelmesen vártak a sorukra, és a meglett férfiak legalább annyira örültek egy-egy autogramnak, mint a gyerekek vagy a fiatal hölgyek. A versenyzők pedig állták a sarat, legalább olyan jól, mint a sziklákon, a farönkökön vagy az ugratókon. A motorsport idei első hazai ünnepét, az idei Superenduro GP 5. furamát tartották meg szombaton Közép-Európa egyik legnagyobb beltéri rendezvényhelyszínén, az MVM Dome-ban. Már a délelőtti programra is több ezren voltak kíváncsiak, de délutánra majdnem teljesen megtelt a stadion. A program autogram-osztással kezdődött – aki tehette, és lehetősége volt rá, igyekezett a gladiátorok közelébe férkőzni. Zsigovits Norbert aláíró-kártyája fogyott el a leghamarabb – és nem azért, mert keveset hozott magával, hanem mert a magyar szurkolók nála mind megálltak. Nem csoda, hogy valósággal felrobbant az aréna, amikor nem sokkal később Zsigovits megnyerte az Európa-kupa első döntő futamát. „A fantasztikus közönség nélkül ez nem sikerülhetett volna” – mondta Zsigovits, majd bevallotta, hogy elszámolta magát. Azt hitte, már vége a versenynek, amikor még volt hátra egy kör, ami egy kicsit kizökkentette. De szerencsére nem annyira, hogy ne nyerje meg a futamot. – "Nehéz pálya ez, de jó a ritmusa, a cél előtti gumis feljáró, ahol három párkányra kell felmászni, feladja a leckét mindenkinek.” A második döntő futamon is óriási küzdelem zajlott, végül Zsigovits a második helyen zárt, a győztes a német Fynn Hannemann lett, aki ezzel a sikerével megnyerte az idei Európa-kupa sorozatot. Még több kép a CsamClub galériában Ám a budapesti forduló legjobbjaként – óriási üdvrivalgás közepette – a hazaiak nagy kedvence, Zsigovits Norbert vehette át a győztesnek járó trófeát, neki szólt a magyar Himnusz. Ekkor vált csak igazán értékessé az esti döntők előtt megszerzett autogram. „Leírhatatlan érzés, hogy egy futamgyőzelemmel zártam a szezont és biztosítottam be a bajnoki címet” – nyilatkozta boldogan az Európa-kupa idei bajnoka, a német Hannemann. Ám az összetettben végül harmadik helyen végző Zsigovits is nagyon elérzékenyült: „Álltam már dobogón, de ennyi ember, ilyen csodálatos hazai közönség előtt még soha. Fantasztikus élmény volt!” A világbajnoki sorozatban a legnagyobb figyelem természetesen a Prestige-kategória küzdelmeit övezte, amelyben Billy Bolt elég nagy fölénnyel vezeti az összetett pontversenyt. Ám amikor arról kérdezték, minek köszönhető ez a nagy dominancia, azt válaszolta: lehet, hogy papíron fölényben van, de az igazság az, hogy minden egyes versenyen megküzdött a győzelemért. Szorongatták, szorongatták, de a végén mindig úgy jött ki a lépés, hogy ő nyert. Nos, a magyar helyszínen is ő diktálta az iramot a délelőtti programban, ám azután az időmérőt Mitchell Brightmore nyerte meg, a superpole-on pedig Johnny Walker volt a leggyorsabb. Mindenki kíváncsian várta, a döntőben miként alakul hármuk csatája. Nos, Billy Bolt ezúttal is elképesztő volt, és magabiztosan megnyerte az első „menetet”. A másodikat Jonathan Walker húzta be ugyanilyen magabiztossággal. És jött a mindent eldöntő harmadik futam, amelyen Walker az első kanyarban elcsúszott és bár óriásit harcolva végül a harmadik helyre jött fel, a futamot és ezzel a budapesti fordulót a négyszeres világbajnok Billy Bolt nyerte. „Örülök, hogy futamról-futamra javultam, egyre jobban hozzászoktam a pályához, állítottunk a motoron is, és a végére már tényleg jól tudtam menni” – nyilatkozta a győztes, aki ezzel tovább növelte az előnyét az összetett pontversenyben. Bolt tehát a tavalyi év után az idén is meghódította a Dome-ot! A junior kategóriában Liszka Rolandért szurkolt az egész aréna. A magyar versenyző titkon reménykedett abban, hogy dobogóra állhat, ám ebben a sűrű mezőnyben, ilyen tülekedés közben, ennyire akciódús versenyeken ez korántsem olyan könnyű feladat. Liszka gyűjtött egy hatodik és egy ötödik helyet, majd a harmadik futamon hatalmasat küzdve, a nyolcadik helyről rajtolva másodikként ért célba. És ami még szebb, hogy ezzel ő is felállhatott a dobogóra, mint a budapesti forduló harmadik helyezettje!
