You misinterpreted me. I’m not saying it’s not their actual opinion, obviously they’re not making up how they’re feeling lol. I’m saying the reaction they’re giving over a simple toy existing is exaggerated. It’s an overreaction. Like, they’re kind of purposefully reaching by using a toy as an excuse to dump all their other grievances on the show when it’s just not a good example of something the show actually did wrong.

“Guess she was just a merch plug all along.” What? You know how long it’s been since she was first introduced as a character? You think the only real reason they did was to merchandise her? Like they were just secretly plotting and planning this entire time for her to be merchandised 3 years later and that was her entire purpose lol.

Like, I genuinely cannot fathom how people could seriously be so upset over this. I mean, I’ve even heard a lot of people say the complete opposite and how they really wish TDP had more merch. This reaction I’m seeing is so weird and I cannot imagine it being anything other than forced.

I've come to the conclusion that Chell and Glados from Portal and V1 and Gabriel from Ultrakill have nearly the same exact vibe in the way they operate.

We have a silent protag who is basically a force of nature at what they do and they fight their way through a huge area controlled and operated by the stuck up self obsessed antagonist who absolutly hates the protags guts. The protag being so good at what they do however invigorates the antagonist to devote all their time and energy into the destruction of them with a lot of verbal insults and jabs along the way just to drive it in that the protag sucks.

I don't know what to do with this info but yeah there you go

Steve would be the type to order Eddie flowers to be delivered for Valentine’s Day of course. He even paid extra. But they don’t get delivered and he knows cause Eddie hasn’t texted him about any flowers so he tracks the order and apparently they’re being delivered from a different state and he spends 2 hours on the phone trying to get a refund or the fucking flowers delivered to Eddie’s work! They promise they’ll get there by 5 but Eddie gets home and Steve’s like.. did you get anything at work today? And Eddie’s like no..? So Steve explains the whole thing and Eddie is just like 🥹you ordered me flowers??

Anyway next day the flowers from the other state get delivered and they’re not very nice looking and as soon as Eddie gets back from his break and making the flowers look nicer in the vase he sees a huge bouquet being delivered. To him. He calls Steve and is like I got the other ones! And Steve’s like well this morning I ordered new ones from a local place and they said they would get them there today and those other ones looked bad and I’m still mad they weren’t delivered yesterday. So now Eddie has a dozen red roses and a huge bouquet which the florist told Steve was called a florist special since they were running low the day after Valentine’s Day.

So I had a dream super weird

We're in school and there's a circus kinda show with animals and fire etc I. The school ground, like a train is surrounding the ground and we're watching from the middle. A lot of us , and suddenly the fuel part of the train falls over drenching us with oil . Everyone is just standing there but I'm like nowayyy we're leaving now!

Our teachers try to stop us. There's fire everywhere and we're wet with fuel . And I'm screaming and trying to get the hell out.

And the teachers threaten us that they'll give us zero marks if we leave. I scream fuck you and your marks and run out pulling my friend also. She's like I wanna watch and I'm like no freaking way. And we run out. And come out of the compound a few others follow us. And then soon after we're a safe distance.
