Tagged by the wonderful @sheherazade to make a 12 song long playlist (aka a good luck charm playlist!) that captures how I want 2021 to go! 💆🏽♀️
1. Hot Honey—Ari Chi. Reminds me of mornings where you’re up out of bed long before anyone else and feel super duper peaceful and careless and sunny in the chillest way as you drink tea and look out a window or read or something... I want even more mornings like that in ‘21 than I had in ‘20 god willing!! 🍯🐝
2. Green & Gold—Lianne La Havas. Lately i feel like her song Midnight (people think I'm crazy/lately I’m/living in midnight/just living in midnight~🎶 ) and it’s fun I’m having a grand isolated little time within the confines of my rich inner world but I hope to feel more like Green & Gold, the lyrics just feel way more... open and active/“ambitious” (for lack of a better word) than content. It’s witching hour I reserve the right to be vague and confusing 😔💕💕
3. Suspended in Gaffa—Kate Bush. God this song sounds like TRAVELING!! I want to do that! Not physically because of Current Events ofc but I want to feel the way this song makes me feel... energetic and like I’m going places in any sense of the word! I can’t explain it! 🧳👒 it reminds me of Tape Five’s Love Tonite and has lead girl of a musical in a bustling train station singing about the people around her and herself energy to me also it’s the one I’ve been looping most lately so GAISJAJJA
4. Everything’s Changin’—St. Arnaud. You know those cheesy montages of ppl slowly dancing in a funny way and mouthing along to the lyrics of a song together as it blasts out loud in sitcoms and such? Only this song would ever make me feel tempted to act that way.... only this one (not that I would but I would Feel A Pull) preferably on a boat in the middle of the ocean as the sun has almost totally set with string lights everywhere. also the lyrics are just so good please give it a try 🥺✌🏽
5. Making Love—Sir Woman. I know this is a smexy suggestive little song but it mostly reminds me of the beach and I just love the energy.... I know I said no traveling but like. To touch the sand of a beach with my own two feet again in the 21st year of the 21st century would not be abhorrent to me.... 🤕<\3 also idk part of the lyrics sound to me like they do indeed describe me at my best... almost-all-knowing and mischevious and fun loving @_@
6. Levitating—Dua Lipa. Even now, whilst on break, the phantom weights of my academic shackles pain and vex and haunt and taunt me (can’t chill out fully for some reason idk why. God help the mentally ill and academically incompetent such as I) not 2 mention the toll of all the extraneous family time I’ve been force fed lately so... I’d like to feel more weightless next year 👉🏽👈🏽 also this is just such a sparkly glitzy dazzling song it makes the child in me go: 🤩🌟💫
7. Hot Knife—Fiona Apple. Grievously, almost impressively late to the party in typical Hiba fashion, I only discovered Miss Apple and this song this year 😐🤭 but God! I miss myself I don’t want romance but I would like to find things that make my heart feel like a “CinemaScope screen showing a dancing bird of paradise” again 😔🔨!! And I love that the lyrics allow the singer to be the Hot Knife AND the Pat of Butter depending on where you are in the 4 minute long song... I love versatility I need to allow myself some more of it next year methinks 🤕✌🏽
8. Bambi—Hippo Campus. This feels way more like me right now than now I necessarily wish to be next year, down to the disobedient dysfunctional legs, but despite the sad state of affairs the lyrics describe the actual song is peppy and hopeful and jazz so like.. I hope to begin to undo the havoc I’ve wreaked on certain aspects of my life via neglect and/or as an unintended consequence of Being (Perpetually) (And More Than Usual) Out Of It. 🦌🪐👟
9. Mii Channel Theme. 1) it’s nostalgic 2) I added it to a recent playlist on a whim and every time shuffle spits it up it’s like I’m hearing the song for the first time... it’s so safe and fun and soothing and adventurous.... makes me want to act deranged in the most harmless way...... it’s an instrumental so when it comes on it empties my head in a comforting way....... I’d like 2021 to feel that balanced and pleasant if possible thank u in advance God<3 💓🎮
10. Slide—Calvin Harris ft. Frank Ocean. Potentially unrealistic 2020 goal # ???: make myself a snazzy little playlist of songs that make me wanna rollerblade/ice skate and actually. do that! This would be top of the list 🥺🛼⛸ as would this💓
11. Stuck in Your Head—Calista Garcia. Another beach like song and also very carefree, the lyrics feel all frank and unfazed... need that for me 🚗 🕶
12. Experience—Victoria Monét. I really do hope this year’s experiences teach future Hiba to be sharper and more proactive but we’ll see :/ anyway even if she totally fails this song is SO catchy and will still be there for her to listen to 🥺💃🏽
Tagging: @pinkafropuffs @noblyphantasmic @fatallist @thebodykeepsscore @dionhysus @netherites @natalya-romanova @miraclegirl @hotsharkgirl2000 @hotgirlkaladin @stereolovers @the-knights-who-say-book @haldimilks @ijaaazat @2006barbie @thoroughbredsbian @kashilascorner @kai-teuthis-satou @bluyuki @holmesianhive @slowlikehoney1996 @serduszko @k-amui @lylelylepantsonfyle @adorakeys @tricketra @howaboutswords and I’m def forgetting some ppl, plz consider urself tagged in spirit and do this if you’d like to participate!! And tag meee I wanna see 👁👁
#tagged in#OK SO I made an actual playlist for my own convenience linked at the top and since Spotify adds their own songs if you have less than 15 in#a playlist I mentioned 3 extras in this post so I could add them too and ~justify~ it#to myself WHAJWJWJ#ty ilika this was a lot of fun! 💕💕

Shopping at Costco with The Moms today and of course I'm wearing a golden crystal sparkly mask. I come around a corner and there was a toddler in a cart. Super towheaded cutie. When she sees me AND my mask she lets out this loud "WHOOOOAAAA!" and looks at her Mom in awe. Her Mom smiles and tells her "I know. Fancy huh!" I'm telling ya. Bling up. Make masks fun. Be snazzy. I saw the cutest Grandma wearing a lovely floral mask. Her whole outfit matched it. Masks are a lot more fun than being infected or infecting others. They aren't a hardship. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk. Hopefully. Here's a photo of me in one of my favorites. In case anyone is curious, 80% of my masks have a pocket for filters (which I use.) #DontBeAMaskhole #DontBeASpreader #MakeMasksFun #WearAMask #Bling #SparkleFarkle #TheMoms #ArarabEneri https://www.instagram.com/p/CTSpg7DhlJR/?utm_medium=tumblr

I rate the Beetlejuice characters
Beetlejuice: Title character. In it a lot. I like the songs he sings in the best because they’re easy for me to remember the tune of and i don’t know why. He spells his name out “Beetlejuice” but the marquee says “Betelgeuse” so I don’t know what to believe. His suit is snazzy but I feel like he should jazz it up some and I appreciate that he changes his tie to match his mood. Very attractive when he gets angry. Dumb and pretty but doesn’t respect women. Definitely needs an undead therapist. 8/10. +3 uncredited points for sparkly microphone he keeps in his pocket
Lydia: Kind of whiny, but I understand where she’s coming from. Rightfully hates Connecticut. (nothing wrong with it personally for me I just hate the way it’s spelled) TERF bangs I hate them. I feel like she should have had a ferret. Saw ghosts and didn’t immediately take a video of them. She was kind of a stagnant character, but I like that she looks like she could give Beetlejuice rabies. Instantly befriended a strange man on her roof because he said he could scare her dad away. (I mean same). 7/10 -2 uncredited points for killing Beetlejuice
Charles: Grade A himbo. Almost a perfect dad, but didn’t pay attention to Lydia’s depression or cries for attention. Repressed a lot of emotions because he wanted to be a strong, positive figure for Lydia. Moved to Connecticut from New York. A two hour drive but why would you do that. Wore a boring suit the entire show. Was chased away by a floating hand and demon face and still came back to save his daughter. Didn’t get enough singing time. 9/10 he gets both negative and positive points for calling BJ “Mr Juice”
Barbara: Disney princess IRL. Best wife ever. Love her to death. A lot in common with BJ which is hilarious to me. I think she should have been wearing overalls with her hair back if she spends all her time making pottery and DIY home improvement. Nothing wrong with her but it should have been called Maitlands 2.0 14/10 +4 because she deserves it
Delia: i love leslie kritzer’s voice. She didn’t get enough singing time but “What I Know Now” makes up for it. I wanted to see the cat she had to get. Was on board for killing Otho after she found out he lied. Has been in an orgy. Wanted to be honest with Lydia from the beginning. Wanted to be a monk. Was in a band (with her cousin Dewey Finn I believe it) Did a fortnite dance. Was ready to fist fight Juno because she wanted to be a part of the family. Fashion icon. 8/10 +2 uncredited points for always dressing like she’s a cruella de ville fashion design
Adam: Good husband 100%. Makes cribs and is a little sexual about it. Saved Charles’ life. Didn’t do much in the musical. Underappreciated. Super respectful to even Beetlejuice. Crowd goes wild every time he says “WAIT JUST ONE GOD DAMN MINUTE” and honestly same. Would definitely kill for Babs. Loves dad jokes. 7/10 +5 for being the only character with common sense
Juno: Fuck Juno
Otho: 0/10

If they somehow got married what would they wear to the wedding?
bee would wear a super snazzy black suit with a bright yellow bowtie, and blitzy would wear a white tux with a purple tie and vest. but at the reception, blitzy would walk out in the biggest, most sparkly white dress anyone has ever seen and bee would faint on the spot

The Sims 4: Guide to Stuff
Hello and welcome to my extremely subjective and absolutely pointless exercise in futility.
If you’re like me, both poor and a slut for The Sims and also hates EA with the power of a thousand suns, this guide is maybe for you!
Have you ever looked at all the bajillion stuff and game packs out for TS4 and thought “hey what the fuck” or “EA I need to survive this winter” or “I wonder which one of these has the most stuff that’s actually worth my money”? Because I sure have, and I’ve sat down and counted (poorly) how many THINGS each stuff/game pack offers. See, the thing is, once I’ve played through the main gimmick of a particular pack, I just default back to making new sims and building new houses. And for me, the STUFF is always more important than any new gameplay that’s been added. Experiences are fleeting ... STUFF IS FOREVER.
That said, I won’t be mentioning expansion packs here, because I believe that most of them (in particular City Living and Seasons) add to the game and are generally worth the money (and by that I mean when they go on sale lmao, I’ve only paid full price for the base game when it came out), and the amount of STUFF they tend to have justifies getting them.
Now, I’m only one idiot with my specific tastes, so take this with as much salt as your goat craves. What is and isn’t worth getting will be individual and subjective.
I will base my opinions on several factors. For example I see if each item is unique, aka it doesn’t look like a mild recolor or remodel of something that exists in an expansion or the base game. Then I also check if the item is usable outside of the theme of the pack, so for example the wild bowling stuff and colorful movie hangout stuff is very specific and you wouldn’t slap most of it in a normal residential lot.
Game packs are a little different than stuff packs in that they add actual gameplay and new things to do in the game. As this is a list focusing on STUFF, I won’t be getting into any of the gameplay each pack adds. Whether it’s fun or worth getting is even more subjective, so if you want a pack that doesn’t have a lot of what I consider “good” items but has interesting gameplay in your opinion, it may very well be worth it for you anyway.
Please note that I also ignored a lot of the clothes and hairstyles, because if you care about those things you could probably download much nicer CC for free. I also don’t play with toddlers or children much, so things made for kids I tend to skip over as well. With that said, let’s get into it.
Btw, never get DLC, but especially stuff packs, at full price. Trust me.
Stuff Packs
My First Pet Stuff
Total item count: 62
Items worth getting: 1 (if you really love hamsters)
Note: Jesus Christ only get this if you hate your money or are desperate to get a hamster or hedgehog or rabbit or whatever the fuck those cages have in them. Honestly, like, don’t? Like please don’t. Donate those 9 bucks to a random gofundme or something. EA is taking the piss and if you buy this you’re letting them take that piss straight into your gaping mouth.
Laundry Day Stuff
Total item count: 69 (nice)
Items worth getting: 54
Note: Honestly? This pack has a surprising amount of really neat stuff! It’s specific but if you enjoy playing the Sims as “realistically” as possible, I think this can add a lot to your immersion! It also has items that are useful in p much any residential build.
Toddler Stuff
Total item count: 53
Items worth getting: 20
Note: As I said, I don’t play a lot with toddlers or children, so I wasn’t super enthused about anything in this one. If you’re big on having large families and a billion babies, then maybe, but honestly I think Parenthood has everything you’d need already.
Fitness Stuff
Total item count: 41
Items worth getting: 25
Note: Some neat clothes, but nothing essential.
Bowling Night Stuff
Total item count: 55
Items worth getting: 12
Note: Very, very specific things in this one. Unless you adore bowling and love doing that shit with your sims, don’t.
Vintage Glamour Stuff
Total item count: 68
Items worth getting: 40
Note: For a pack that’s all about glamour, most of the items here aren’t all that neat. Obviously I thought the majority of them were good, but if you want extravagant, Get Famous covers most of the ground Vintage Glamour wishes it did. It does have a butler function going for itself, so if you need one of those for your fancy sims, then go for it.
Backyard Stuff
TIC: 66
IWG: 18
Note: None of these items stood out to me or seem to add anything to the game.
Kids Room Stuff
TIC: 71
IWG: 36
Note: Again, I don’t have many sim children. Some of the items were neat, but defo not essential and don’t really add much.
Romantic Garden Stuff
TIC: 53
IWG: 33
Note: Not a whole lot of items, but I’m a HUGE slut for various neat plants and statues and this pack has a bunch of them. If you adore those as well and like the idea of a snazzy flowery garden, I think this is defo one of the packs that’s worth getting. Plants are also the sort of thing you can slap anywhere to make anything slightly better-looking, so even if you’re not into building gardens, these are great for landscaping.
Movie Hangout Stuff
TIC: 61
IWG: 10
Note: These things are very loud and very incidental. I don’t know what swatches they have so I can’t say if they’d be easy to match with anything else, but just looking at them I think that they don’t really add much even if you want to go for that tacky colorful look.
Spooky Stuff
TIC: 70
IWG: 34
Note: This one had a few neat things, I suppose, but unless you love throwing Halloween parties in the game, skip it. The Vampires game pack has a lot more and much better items in a similar vein.
Cool Kitchen Stuff
TIC: 51
IWG: 43
Note: Kitchens are one of the things I struggle the most with when building, and they’re also a must in any residential lot, and this pack has what is essentially another style of kitchen. I wish this pack was only build items because the clothes and hairstyles are mostly pointless and don’t relate to kitchens or cooking at all.
Perfect Patio Stuff
TIC: 45
IWG: 31
Note: This one has a few neat little build items that work pretty much anywhere. Also hot tubs, I guess, if you want those? I honestly think this is basically Backyard Stuff but better.
Luxury Party Stuff
TIC: 53
IWG: 19
Note: Unless you will die if you don’t have a couple more sparkly outfits for your sims, skip this one. Just as with Vintage Glamour, Get Famous has you covered on the “luxury” front.
Game Packs
Strangerville
TIC: 151
IWG: 125
Note: I’m someone who really enjoys weird conspiracies and supernatural things happening in small towns, so I’m automatically drawn to this pack. The items it offers are also interesting and unique, and I think you’d be able to use them in a bunch of different designs and contexts as well. The clothing items are very neat, too.
Jungle Adventure
TIC: 219
IWG: 126
Note: Very incidental items for most of this and the gameplay doesn’t seem very replayable either. It does have some generic “temple” stuff as well as interesting plants I could see being used outside of the pack itself, but other than that, this one’s pretty skippable IMO.
Parenthood
TIC: 143
IWG: 60
Note: I know this pack expands a lot upon the parenting in the game so if you’re all about creating families and lineages then this is probably worth it for you. I wasn’t blown away by the items and don’t really like the idea of bothering with babies and children even more than I already have to in the base game.
Vampires
TIC: 216
IWG: 209
Note: I loved witches in TS2 and I’m always into supernatural shit. I can’t say anything about the vampirism aspect, but the items are very pretty and different from the base game and what other packs offer, and many of them can be used for gothic and/or old builds.
Dine Out:
TIC: 165
IWG: 64
Note: You can own and visit restaurants, so that’s a thing. I expected snazzier things from this one, but it’s very underwhelming. Things are either themed for the game pack itself, which makes sense, but it also means you can’t really use much of it outside of its intended purpose, or they’re just plain shitty-looking.
Spa Day
TIC: 175
IWG: 122
Note: I don’t think spas are an essential part of the gameplay, but the items are absolutely amazing if you like sleek and modern builds, which I do. They’re made for the spa, but are also absolutely at home in, well, a home. Defo one of the better packs when it comes to stuff.
Outdoor Retreat
TIC: 159
IWG: 104
Note: This one has some fairly generic but still nice build items if you’re going for an outdoorsy cottage vibe. I can’t comment on the camping thing aside from saying I wouldn’t consider it super essential.

Crusty, rusty mounting hardware rejuvenation. “Pink Snot” to the rescue!
I’ve been spending some time tearing down several pieces of the 75 Imperialstars in the previous post to nest and ship to a buyer in California. As is normal for 40 plus year old drums, I found the lug mounting screws, muffler hardware, t rods and washers to be in pretty rough shape. So in this post, I decided to document the journey and do a bit of a pictorial, how-to guide on how I usually go about rejuvenating damn near barnacle encrusted hardware back to usable condition.
Here’s how the lug screws, tone control mounting hardware and washers started out. They looked to have been “rid hard and put away wet”...no seriously, like literally put away wet. Most people would just say “fuck that noise” and find some original screws. Me...I have way too much free time on my hands and ALWAYS try to salvage the original screws because it’s not like any vintage Tama screws are all that readily available.
Be warned, this process WILL remove any of the original yellow zinc plating that is on the screws. In this case...there wasn’t much left to worry about so they are the perfect candidate for restoration.
First the lug screws...I know WTF...Life After People style...but alas, there is hope.
Tone control screws, washers and nuts...whee dawgies...totally jacked.
Washers...not too bad, but could use a good kick in the face...
First step: Slather them in “pink snot”...also known by the brand name “Loctite Naval Jelly Rust Dissolver” available in the glue and paint remover section at your local Home Depot. It gets its name because they use it to get rust off of battle ships...so this is the real deal and will gladly and chemically burn your face off if given the chance. It is also great on lug casings, chrome hoops, Titan stand hardware and steel snare shells. Surprisingly, Tama chrome doesn’t seem to mind it (nor does vintage Camco) as far as marring the finish. I love this stuff and like the Red Hot sauce ad...”I put that shit on everything!” This product is a little harsh on the sinuses so you are best off using it outside with good ventilation and blue nitrile gloves to protect your manicure. Shmear it on and let it sit for twenty minutes or so. Vigorously work the product around the hardware several times every few minutes with an old paint brush you have lost all respect for.
This is how the parts will look after they are rinsed thoroughly with hot soapy water. Any rust that remains has been turned to black carbon deposits that will need further attention. In the case of these lug screws, they were so corroded that the washers seemed almost fused together. This is a result of a build up rust between the flat washer and the threads below as the screw is pressed against the shell. This is where you grab a decent flat blade screw driver and give the lock washer and flat washer a twist to break them free from their bondage.
The tone control hardware pretty much needs just a little face time with a Dremel tool and a wire wheel attachment. If you don’t have a Dremel tool...get one! Best damn Christmas present ever. Each piece as well as the t rod washers will need to be burnished to remove any remaining deposits prior to getting a good soak in WD40. Don’t forget your safety goggles kids...a wire wheel shard in the eye sucks.
In mid process below. I also gave the fully separated lug screws and washers a once over with the Dremel wire wheel as there will be rust and corrosion in that area where the washers were stuck together. The lug screws will get yet another ride on the “Pink Snot Express” to ensure they are rust free.
I also used the pink snot on tension rods...makes them all pretty again.
The old “shake, shake, shake” in the pickle jar filled with acetone for a final rinse.
This is how the lug screws should look after the second pink snot bath, rinsing, drying and another shot with the Dremel wire wheel. Both the flat and split washers are now free floating on the screw shaft. Oh so sparkly.
Now the next part, I've never actually tried before. Normally I jut soak these in WD40 for future rust abatement and call it a day. However, my friend Kevin Cundy up in the Great White North mentioned in a Facebook post that he likes to shoot them with some gold metallic spray paint. I figured what the hell, I’ll try it on a few of the screws and see how it looked. The two spray cans pictured below both look like gold, but the “Bright Coat” one on the right is a bright Silver Metallic finish. I shot these test screws first with a light coat of the silver from all angles, then hit it with a light coat of the gold when the first silver coat was wet. I thought maybe the two sheens (silver and gold...not Charlie and Martin) would play well off of each other. The idea is to kind of mist it on. You can go back and hit it with a mist of of the silver again to get an even lighter mixed metallic sheen if you wish.
Test screws close up...pretty shwanky.
I thought “Hey these look pretty fucking awesome...I’ll just do the rest of them!”
Below are the finished product on the right, with some original yellow zinc plated, super clean screws on the left. The spray coat will keep the rust at bay for the foreseeable future and make them as close to factory fresh as possible. This is by no means a perfect match and they are lacking that blue/green yellow zinc cast, but I don’t see anyone coming out with a snazzy “Popeil’s Pocket Yellow Zinc Electroplate DIY Kit” any time soon...and don’t think me and some other guys with fist fulls of fucked up looking screws haven’t researched that possibility as well.
Booosh...in just a few hours...this happened.
So the moral of the story is...yes, I do have too much free time on my hands (that’s not actually true, I have two kids which means zero free time) and even though your screws may look like total ass...they can in fact be revitalized with some due diligence, elbow grease...and of course “Pink Snot”.
Cheers and thanks for taking a look!

5 Tips for Going Out Outfits
Looking for the perfect outfit to wear out with friends but don’t know where to start?
Check out my 5 top tips that I always keep in mind when putting an outfit together when getting ready to go out.
🎆
TIP 1: Add a Belt
Want to add a little extra pop to your outfit? Add a cute belt.
The belts I have been loving recently are the super on-trend sparkly belts. I personally own a belt from the brand GRLFND, but there are so many other options by other brands.
Whenever you feel like you are missing something, add your favourite belt of choice and I guarantee you will look that much more put together.
🎀
TIP 2: Get Shirts with Flair
While it is good to have a couple of plain, staple pieces in your wardrobe, the next time you are out shopping, keep an eye out for a top that has a little extra flair.
Whether it be a zipper, buttons, or any sort of embellishment, it takes the shirt to a new level that makes it stand out from others, and keeps your outfit looking snazzy.
💎
TIP 3: Layer, Layer, Layer!
Keep it cute and comfy with layering.
Whether you choose to layer with a blazer (my current favourite is this animal print one), or knit pullovers, you will be adding a bit of flair to your outfit, while still feeling comfortable.
🎈
TIP 4: Keep your Shoes Unique
Not a big heels person? Don’t worry, me neither. If you have a cool pair of sneakers, your outfit will still look amazing.
For example, these platform Converse sneakers.
The added platform makes it different from the everyday Converse and gives it an edge makes it perfectly acceptable to wear these sneakers on a night out!
🎇
TIP 5: Put Comfort First
If you aren’t comfortable sharing too much skin, then don’t! It’s all about what makes you comfortable.
There are tons of cute shirts that’ll leave you looking good but not feeling over-exposed!
***********************************************************************
Want to know more about these tips? Check out my YouTube video to hear a little bit more about my top tips and see some examples I pulled aside to show you.
Happy shopping!

I might as well just list them off based on how they are described in my rewrites. I gave the boys just a few aesthetic changes for the most part so for the time being I’ll just list off the girls!
Trigger Happy Havoc:
Kyoko: I like to imagine her design is based off a noire sort of style with a baggy white shirt, accompanied by a purple long coat, tie and trousers, which are plaid of course. If I could actually draw I think a wide brimmed hat would suit her too!
Celeste: Like you I really like Celestia’s design so I gave her pretty minimal changes, although if was ever to illustrate the story I like the idea of her wearing a slightly different dress for each chapter just because I find gothic lolita fashion really interesting and I love the variations in design.
Sayaka: She will also remain relatively unchanged but I will probably make her a little more vibrant and maybe add some sparkles to capture her sparkly personality.
Sakura: She wears karate gear but since (contrary to what the fandom believes) she has an appreciation for the feminine as well as nature, I decorated her outfit to be pink, white and flowery to suit her namesake.
Chihiro: I often draw her with short shorts or a mini skirt but with a big oversized sweater because I thought that would be adorable and I wanted her to be comfortable too.
Aoi: Again her design is pretty familiar to that in the game wearing a red tracksuit, but she wears more ocean themed tops and has a shark tooth pendant around her neck.
Toko: Her design is pretty much the same since I think her outfit in the canon game suits her talent and personality pretty well overall.
Mukuro: What the Hell is going on with her canon design? She’s supposed to be a soldier! Much like a lot of redesigners I dressed her up in camo military garb. Most importantly she wears thick black gloves to cover her tattoo and not get burned while holding a machine gun in a hot climate.
Junko: I’m not gonna lie I think I got the idea of Junko’s design from drag since it’s pretty dramatic and over the top. She wears a large fur coat (a la Cruella De Vil!) with knee high red boots, a small dress and large overly sized heart shaped glasses. She still has the Monokuma pins though.
Super Danganronpa 2:
Chiaki: Similarly to Chihiro she typically wears short shorts alongside a massively oversized hoodie with some kind of gaming theme on them. She usually makes these hoodies herself, although she does a pretty tacky job of it, not that she minds so long as she’s comfy!
Ibuki: Wears very stereotypical ‘Hollywood goth’ clothing (Ebony from My Immortal would be proud) although I do think the ‘90’s grunge’ aesthetic you seem to be describing could really suit her too!
Mikan: I found some really adorable lolita clothing, albeit with a Victorian nurse aesthetic so I thought that would look really cute on her!
Akane: Her canon design is definitely the worst of the bunch. I like the idea of her wearing a sparkly leotard with a nice comfy tracksuit and shorts over the top. Also she has a sports bra because doing any kind of intense sports without one is agnosing.
Sonia: I wanted to capture her love of the military, and her European royalty background so I depicted her in a flamboyant hussar uniform. She loves horseback riding too in my rewrite so I thought it would suit her for that reason too!
Hiyoko: Like you I don’t mind her design all that much, especially as it suits her talent. I just wish the fandom would stop acting so... weird about it 😨
Peko: Wears pants! Also she has some armour plating in places to suit her talent and to make her resemble a Samurai warrior. When she’s serious she wears a Men-yoroi (a Samurai mask) to intimidate her foes, but it also just looks cool.
Mahiru: Much like what you recommend but she also wears suspenders!
Tora: My oc for the story. She’s the ultimate high speed racer and goes by ‘The Lucky Tiger’ as her racing title so wears a snazzy orange racing jacket with black stripes to capture that persona!
This is what I have come up with in my rewrites. I haven’t started to rewrite V3 yet but if you wish for me to give you some ideas on what I’d recommend for the girls in that game I will be more than happy to!
How would you personally choose to redesign the dr characters (esp the girls)? Obviously my top priority is making sure they can actually move around and are comfortable, particularly if they are in a more active field. Also let the girls wear pants! Overall I would give them a combination of practical and cute attire. The outfits in Bandori (Bang Dream) are a good example where they are cute but don’t sexualise the characters. They also vary depending on each band’s musical style/personality!
i don’t know anything about bandori! tbh, i’m actually okay with the girls’ outfit designs in trigger happy havoc because i think there’s a nice-ish variety. i’d alter sakura’s a bit, maybe make her skirt longer and either give her sleeves that accomodate her arms or not...have sleeves at all. i don’t think the sleeves being torn really fits her characterization as wanting to be seen soft and feminine, like i don’t thinks she’d keep them torn if that makes sense? i know it’s there to exaggerate her muscles but like. c’mon. if you really need them to be exaggerated, have her in a tank top like hina.
i more have a beef with the sdr2 designs, they’re just...boring? they essentially slapped big boobs on the girls and went with the blandest designs they could think of. i think peko should either be in pants or in a traditional kendo outfit. i’m...more or less okay with sonia, though i’d think she’d be interested in trying out different kinds of fashion that normal people wear so the outfit they gave her still feels kind of boring to me. i guess i wouldn’t put her in lolita style since that was sorta celes’ thing but maybe harajuku?
i saw a nice sprite redesign of akane (i can’t find it on my blog now sadly) that included her in shorts, support leggings, a sports bra...i don’t remember what else but i hate everything about her design. it’s so gross how she was both designed and treated - she should at least have a gymnastics leotard on and gym shorts over that.
i don’t have much to say about hiyoko (i think her clothes are okay) or mahiru (though i think she should be in pants, i feel like that fits her personality better?). i don’t hate mikan’s style, i would say they should put her in scrubs and crocs but that would take away the only characterization they bother to give her (getting in embarrassing compromising positions). chiaki and ibuki have such lazy designs imo. like, chiaki’s hoodie is cute, but just having us occasionally see the hood and a tiny little galaga barette to show her as being the ultimate gamer like...really? guess they’ve never met a gamer before. i like the idea that chihiro designed her as her transition goals, i know they went back at some point to decide she was a real person and not just coding and i don’t know how early in the game they decided to do that, but it kinda makes up for her design being a little bland. and ibuki i just...idk. her design is mostly fine but i feel like the could have gone with a color other than pink? i just felt like there was so much of it, they could have branched out with ibuki and had her in like orange or green or something. and they could have done more to make her look punk, could have gone with alice cooper eyes or fishnet or distressed clothes or a wider studded belt or safety pins or a leather jacket or a skinny tie or a patched vest or checkerboard... punk/metal/scene all have such vibrant and unique styles and they just wasted an oppurtunity to make a visually interesting character. it’s not like they can’t, i mean, celes’ style was so intricate, why not use some of that effort with ibuki?
idk. what would you put them in?

This is just a quick post celebrating something that I hope you know (by now atleast) I believe in. Puma have dropped a new line of clothes and they’re great, but this isn’t about where you can buy the range (JD Sports) but really it is about the hashtag that accompanies this new line. #DoYou
I don’t know if it is just me but I definitely go through phases of self acceptance. I hope it isn’t just me. One day I am posting a picture of my bare, freckly face on Instagram & loving it and other days I’m seriously considering FaceTune as a legitimate editing tool.
I took these pictures a little while ago, definitely on a day that I was feeling particularly snazzy. Yes I think the new Puma range is cute and lovely to wear but this post is a little more than that. I actually attempted to wear this set a few days after this shoot (after a wash of course) and it didn’t fit the same, now I don’t know if this is because I inexplicably gained weight in those 3 days or if my mind had just decided that I was fatter? (The question mark is there because I am still trying to wok this out) I try to portray an honest image online, not that I post crying selfies (I’m not gonna lie; I find these odd) but I try to show people the real side of what I do. Be it blogging, presenting, DJing; I don’t just want to be this unobtainable person, which I could even imagine being. I don’t know why but I feel obliged to show the flip side of what can seem like a lovely shiny coin, because not everyone wakes up every day with the ability to immediately be incredible! For most of us (even if its only sometimes) it can take a bit of work.
I guess my point when writing this is that sometimes ‘doing me’ isn’t being the most fabulous version of Yinkdaddy, but knowing that just because I have a rubbish body-image day or a bad day at work; there are still fabulous days on the horizon! Lol
So however you feel today, be it super sparkly and delicious or if you feel like a crusty foot. Do it with pride because no one can #DoYou like you can!

New Post has been published on https://is.gd/1owjZH
Closed & Co
As eating out is almost my raison d’etre, when that is taken away an entirely foreseeable issue occurs. No, I don’t swell up as a balloon as I gorge on McDonalds in some misguided teenage rebellion (I would have more class than that). Instead, I become bored. When I become bored, to alleviate said condition, I sometimes do strange things. Examples from my past include:
That time I thought it would be fun to see what coal ice cream tasted like. Won’t be doing that again.
A further sample could be that time I thought it would be fun to ski around in a Picachu onsee. It was fine until I fell, then I got to experience what a wet and cold pokemon would feel like.
Or perhaps it could be when I decide to venture into a kitchen as a cook rather than a critic. Some “friends” would insinuate that I should not be providing commentary on culinary arts until I was able to demonstrate my own skills in the arena. I counter that I go far beyond what the arm chair critic does. At least, on occasion, I try. The only problem is, it is hard to summon up the requisite motivation at times when I can just hop around the corner for a bite to eat.
So, perhaps there is a silver lining to the lock down. I would be motivated (by lack of alternatives) to cook more. Even better, my food would be judged on appearance rather than taste. Such superficial judgement calls were similar to meeting people for the first time. Those snazzy glasses look dashing! The watch looks sparkly. The beard looks well groomed. However, on a closer look, the rumbled jacket doesn’t look that good. The dirty trainers look kind of bad. Most of all, pregnancy in a man is not appealing.
So relieved from the requirement to have my food subject to the threat of tasting, I thought to start off small. Other’s people’s judgement would have to rest on how things looked. Everyone would have to trust me as to how it tasted. Not being too ambitious, I thought to start from the end of the meal and slowly work my way up. The inspiration that lead me to create the below was fairly straight forward. I had a 1kg tub of peanut butter and was thinking of ways to exhaust it. Although there are many things that you can make out of peanut butter, I thought to start with the least complicated (and hopefully the most forgiving of error), the humble brownie.
Peanut butter brownie with clotted cream ice cream and hoji tea.
The slightly bitter chocolate crust and cake layer highlighted the sticky sweetness of the peanut butter filling. Yet the adventure did not end there. What made the journey in the mouth even more interesting was each spoonful was a bit like playing the lottery – whether you would get a chunk of peanut to elevate the pleasure. The creamy and smooth ice cream only served to highlight the contrasting sweet, salty, bitter and nutty brownie. With so many flavours in one, perhaps I should have dressed up my sweet treat in a super hero costume.
On the right, smooth hoji tea straight direct from Japan. Hoji cha is a tea which is roasted much longer than green tea and has a strong smoky earthy taste. Interesting, it has almost no caffeine content making it great for a later day drink. The smooth heavier taste complimented the brownie rather well. It was so good a combination that I thought that maybe I should test this out on the wider public.
Perhaps this is another reason for Boris Johnson to let us out. If he does, I might even send him a brownie in thanks.
I thought about whether I should rate myself with a quiet eating score. However, I think that would give rise to too many questions about potential conflicts of interest. Instead, I will just say it was good and leave it at that.

Picked up a few new pieces of gear for the new studio. First a 1970s Slingerland drum set. I'm not a drummer but drums are my favourite thing to record, I've loved the instrument my entire life. These drums have been re wrapped with a snazzy sparkly blue finish, but they still sound awesome and vintage. The kick is huge and the toms don't disappoint. I had a great meeting today with a client who wants to have these drums on his upcoming album! Next up I picked up an apogee symphony Interface. I have 2 of the 8x8 cards in it so I have 16 channels of conversion. I was super impressed by how easy it was to set up with my existing pro tools system. As soon as I played some music through it I was immediately blown away by the quality of conversion this little box offers. The air was so clear and the low end is nice and present unlike some other converters in the same price range. I can't wait to record with this thing

Samsung authoritatively reports the Galaxy Note 7 and an invigorated GearVR
Samsung’s next telephone tablet cross breed gadget has authoritatively landed. The organization presented the 6th era Galaxy Note 7 phablet in New York City on Tuesday. It highlights the most recent equipment, a weight delicate stylus, and a spruced up interface, all bundled into a sparkly metal-and-glass, water-safe shell. Also, for the virtual reality-fixated, Samsung has reported another GearVR headset outlined only for the Galaxy Note 7.
Meet the new phablet
You may ask why there’s no Galaxy Note 6 this year. That is on account of Samsung selected to avoid that number and bounce straight to the number 7 so that its phablet line and leader family—the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge—are straightforwardly adjusted. To be perfectly honest, it bodes well to have both gadget sorts in agreement, in a manner of speaking.
The name change likewise shows that the Galaxy Note 7 highlights huge numbers of the same parts as the Galaxy S7. This incorporates a proficient quad-center Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM, and a noteworthy 12-megapixel back confronting camera with double pixel innovation. What’s more, despite the fact that it has a bigger 5.7-inch screen, it’s pretty much as dynamic as the littler Super AMOLED shows highlighted on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. It’s the same determination as well (2560×1440, or Quad HD), however the bigger size will make orgy viewing on your drive more agreeable.
The Galaxy Note 7 isn’t only an exploded clone of its littler sibling. It has a 3,500 mAh battery (expanded from 3,000 mAh in the Galaxy Note 5, however inquisitively a bit littler than the 3600 mAh battery in the GS7 Edge) with both quick charging and remote charging capacities. It’s additionally water safe, so you can dunk it in the pool with nary a stress, and it’s Samsung’s first telephone to drop microUSB for the more current USB-C standard.
It’s significant this is the main Galaxy Note variation you’re getting this year. Past bits of gossip indicated both a level adaptation of the phablet gadget and an “edge” rendition making its introduction, yet there’s one and only Galaxy Note 7. On the in addition to side, it’s a cell phone with bended edges that is more agreeable to hold—also more snazzy—than different telephones this size.
note7 16 Florence Ion
Searching for a weight touchy stylus in a littler bundle? Investigate the Galaxy Note 7.
To help you exploit that somewhat additional screen space, the Note 7 accompanies a weight delicate S-Pen that docks in the base side of the body. It’s twice as weight delicate as last year’s, and like its forerunner, you can inadvertently push it in reverse in case you’re truly keen on bringing about yourself a migraine.
The S-Pen programming has likewise been marginally changed with a couple of new element offerings. Furthermore, similar to the bits of gossip proposed, the Note 7 lets you open it with your eyes on account of another retina scanner, which is quicker than the thumb-to-unique finger impression scanner technique. You can read the entire scoop on what’s new by looking at our hands-on impressions with the Galaxy Note 7.
The new GearVR

Samsung’s GearVR has experienced a makeover. The virtual reality headset now includes a good looking dull blue and dark shading schematic. Samsung said it changed the hues on the grounds that the white inside of the first GearVR brought on a diverting reflection. The headset’s fringe view has likewise been marginally balanced from 96 degrees to 101 degrees, and there’s a devoted catch that takes you straight to the GearVR store and library for simple survey.
You don’t need to stress over your more seasoned Samsung telephone not working with the new GearVR, either. The headset now bolsters USB Type-C, yet it accompanies a MicroUSB connector for those using more seasoned handsets like the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6, and Note 5.
The new Galaxy Note 7 and Gear VR will authoritatively go marked down August 19. There’s no value point accessible for the Note 7 or Gear VR just yet, however we’ll redesign this when it’s affirmed. At dispatch, the Galaxy S7 was just accessible through transporters in the U.S., with the opened model (free of bearer bloatware) landing just around a month back. There’s no word yet in the event that the Note 7 will at first offer just through transporters or in the event that you’ll have the capacity to purchase an opened, bearer free model here in the U.S.
