ALWAYS PROTECTED FROM THE SUN
There are a few things more delicate than a little kid's skin. Little children haven't yet built the natural defenses they need to fight against the threats of sun rays shining through a increasingly weaker ozone. Their skin layers are thinner and don't produce the sebum that protects them. So how can we protect them form the sun's harm? Of course we need to apply a high SPF sunscreen, but this is not enough.
After applying sunscreen, a kid's scalp is still exposed to getting sunburnt, and over heating of their little heads can be harmful too! Having a long-brim sun hat at hand is super important, and making sure that hat is taken care of is also super important!

Getting the right pair of sunglasses for little kids is super important and here's why: Did you know that excessive unprotected exposure to the sun in early years can lead to vision problems in the future? Yes. We haven't been taking care of our planet, our ozone layer is weaker, and the sun rays reaching our outdoors-playing-littles are more and more harmful.
Ok, that's a little scary, but hey, we have a solution!! S U N G L A S S E S The thing is: you can't just get any type of sunglasses lacking the UV protection. You know how pupils get bigger when you're in a dark room and smaller when you're looking into the light? Sunglasses have the 'dark room effect' on your eyes, and with bigger pupils, more light is coming into the eyes, and if that light is not filtered correctly, it could be super harmful! Also, as an added bonus, nothing is cooler than a pair of good sunglasses.

In honor of National #KidsTakeOverTheKitchenDay we are celebrating with the perfect recipe for kids to safely make in the kitchen without any risks! Although we do recommend the use of an apron to protect their cute little clothes from getting all stained with the different ingredients! At DapperDazzle, we believe in giving kids as many tools and skills as possible, and getting familiarized with the ins and outs of the kitchen from a young age can be super helpful in their future independence!
