To me Carer/Regressor dynamics are different than your typical Romantic/Platonic/Familial type of realationships, so I've decided to make a separate list for F/Os who are my Caregivers, or who I Caregive for.

nat will be referred to with he/they prns .

nat is a flip with a caregiver lean ! he regresses on the older side — typically 8 or 9 or early/mid teens like 14 - 16 . he's definitely more of an older brother than a baby . he loves to take care of others even when he is regressed . i think teen!regressor nat is basically canon (i at least definitely think of that one scene with nat && lottie as him regressing :-3).

he definitely regresses due to trauma but he wants to feel useful && make others smile . he's the best big brother always checking in on his "siblings" && showing them cool little things . he takes his job as big brother super seriously .

nat is afraid of the anger they are capable of && always tries to bottle it up . it's easier for them to allow themself to feel big emotions when regressed — teen!regressed nat blasting angry music in their shitty headphones , playing more violent videogames or just screaming into a pillow . scribbling angrily with a pen writing every bad word he can think of .

nat && van being like brothers is soooo important to me . younger!nat coming to van when he needs to cry && van giving him the hugs nat wants but feels too silly to ask for . nat being taught that crying was bad && feeling ashamed && van telling him to "fuck that" to make nat giggle && holding him when he breaks . van letting nat yell && letting him rant and curse && feel hurt && angry && sad . also nat && van playing mario games together && trading comics !

nat loves taking care of others but they get really shy when they need to be taken care of . always secretly hoping someone littler will ask him for cuddles . "lot are you suuuure you don't need a cuddle?" van always can tell when they need some extra love though . "well maybe lottie doesn't but i do ."

nat having one little stuffed bear from when they were a toddler && hiding it from everyone except van because he's the Big brother ! he's not little he's big he's sooo big ! but then lottie finds it && wants to play with it && suddenly he doesn't feel so big because it's their bear not lottie's . trying to navigate being lottie's caregiver/big brother && also that being THEIR bear . and maybe he cries a little . van stepping in to mediate because nat is having trouble && nat is so upset that lottie will see him differently but she loves them && van loves them so everything works out .

nat being so stubborn especially when they're sick . trying to weasel their way out of taking medicine but then turning around && making sure that everyone else has theirs . he's always putting others above himself , being used to having less && needing less . giving his snacks to jackie because she struggles to eat when she's big . "i don't want them pup, i promise ." sometimes they're lying but they're so worried about breaking the cycle that it's hard for them to recognize that they're human too . van helps ensure that he's taking care of himself too .

sometimes if he's working himself too much , neglecting his own needs && pushing off his regression for too long he'll slip reaaally little like baby or toddler . they don't want anyone to know but of course van knows all . >:-)

nat being uber cautious about their language when their friends are regressed but then daring van && mari to say bad words when they're on the younger end of their range . or someone will slip up && he thinks it's sooooo funny .

nat making special mixtapes for his littles . recording himself singing a special lullaby for lottie , && a silly made up song for misty (probably about kitties or something). van doesn't really regress much themself but nat making one for van including his own rendition of the spiderman theme song (SPIDERVAN >:-J) because that's their favorite show to watch when nat is regressed . just a little something to show how much he cares .

nat doesn't really have one set in stone little — they're everyone's big brother but only really lottie && misty's actual caregiver .
