Favourite writers on ao3?

I’m sorry for the delayed reply, thank you for the ask! :) Unfortunately, in answering this ask, I discovered that some of my all-time favorite fanfic authors have deleted their fics/ao3 accounts and while I understand they probably did what was best for them, I can’t say I’m not devastated. :( But the writers that come to mind right now are Hedwig221b (Sterek), Miss_Lv (Gramander), and lazywonderland (Drarry).

Ughhh I'm in that phase again where my brain keeps doubting if I'm really aroace (specifically the ace part)

The thing is that I don't know what sexaul attraction is like so whenever I see something like that I just get very uncomfortable and then my brain thinks that is what sexual attraction feels like, even though I *know* it isn't.

Idk all of this is so stupid, I feel like my head is just split in half with one side being logical and pulling up all sorts of facts about why that isn't true but then there's this other dumber side that keeps trying to convince me that it is and I've just been feeling really bad the entire time and I just really needed to let it out. I know I'll be fine soon but like.. it's days like these where I low-key wish that sex and romance weren't real just so I wouldn't have to deal with them lol. They're such a hassle 😭😭

Aaah, yeah, I see what you mean to a degree... It's honestly so difficult to have to rely on your own brain to feel certain and validated in a world that keeps making the ace experience confusing at best and invalidated completely at worst... I'm honestly sorry you have times like those, I wish there was an easy way out but there probably isn't considering the nature of the thing... I'm so sorry, I hope you're doing better now T^T

omg so like, Dazai and the shipping container incident with him getting shipped overseas got me thinking... (I am super late to reading it 😭)

Chuuya, unaware of what happened in the moment because he had been sent overseas himself for an international mission, and he had to go out and scout a foreign shipyard for illegal weapon shipments.

AT THE SAME TIME, he conveniently receives a message forward by Mori to be on the lookout for one of their own agents because a Port Mafia member had been taken hostage around the location Chuuya was in.

Chuuya's ??? because why hadn't he been notified that someone was also either on the same mission as him or had managed to be such a bumbling fool that they got caught by foreign enemies. ANYWAY, he keeps an eye out for anything suspicious while still working on his own mission when he sees a particular area of the shipyard had been surrounded by armed foreign criminals, so he's ready to go bust some ass when they all swing the shipping container doors open and barge in to see Dazai there.

Chuuya just facepalms himself in disbelief because he can't believe Dazai followed him all the way to another country (even though it was totally coincidental) but also, he's not even surprised that Dazai managed to get himself caught by the enemy. Again.

They kick some enemy ass and Dazai gets shipped back home on the next plane back to Yokohama, and Chuuya overhears Dazai complaining to Mori on the phone: "What about my home?!"

I can imagine Chuuya's shocked then angry as heck face when he spots Dazai like,,, he'd probably do a double take at first being like "is that really who I think it is?" and it quickly turns to "Fuck it is who I think it is..."

Dazai would be adamant that that was part of his plan (when it really wasn't) and complain that Chuuya's ruined it and it is somehow Chuuya's fault that he has no home now fjsbfkjebaf

Which will earn him a (justified) kick to the head 😭😭

Hi I just listened through all your "this could be music!" album on YT, but there was no way to leave a comment so I'm just going to ramble here now and waoww.... I love it. Each track is like a marble in a jar: you pick one up & the colours/textures/way the light shines through are different for each one, and if you blur your eyes you feel like you're holding a gemstone. Also it makes me think of being a kid and the world being very big and strange, but for now I'm going to focus on these pretty marbles... Idk if this makes sense ^^;

Big fave has got to be the last track, "the start of something". There's these 5 repeating notes at the start, makes me think of a ringtone. It repeats 3 times & then the 4th & 5th repetitions are slightly different, a bit distorted, bit ominous... It's like, "here's an opportunity! here's a potential path!" and then there's a beat where you're like ohhh god, the opportunity. the different path. that sounds scary. But then you do it anyway, because it might turn scary, but it might also turn out good!!

And then the song DOES go to a more positive tone! (from 0:23) (Highly technical musical terms here yes yes) It's like a quiet little anthem of the Do It Scared But Do It mentality, so so important to me. Also parts of it make me think of Minecraft music so that's always a gigantic win ^^

Anyway thankyou for creating such a fun collection of sounds, I will very much enjoy discovering the rest of your music :D

Before Anon's eyes, Galo rolled out a 36x36 powerpoint, explosive doodles graffitiing the canvas. One corner, a searing inferno, engulfing a lone building! The other, a firefighter clad in red-white-blue mecha gear. Above the heroic scene lay a single line of text: UNATTENDED FIRES SAVE (here, the word was marked out, although had seemingly been written multiple times) END LIVES.

“This! Is what could've happened,” smack! -- just where had he gotten that presenter? “Especially since there wasn't...” rapidly, Galo drew circle upon circle 'round the firefighter that just so happened to have spiky, blue locks, and just so happened to roll in a model similar to Matoi. “A handsome firefighter there to extinguish the flames of their irresponsibility!”

Galo rolled out another powerpoint, instead 12x12, showcasing a happy home, freed of any damage. For additional emphasis, Galo scribbled one bolt of lightning (for coolness), several stars to indicate shine, and another mini-Galo giving a sparkly thumbs-up in approval.

“Small flames are necessary to like, cook, or to keep warm during the winter. BUT, you've gotta' take fire safety classes! Not a lot of people know just how deadly the draft from an open door is, or about sparks. Fireplaces give off a ton of sparks, dunno' how many but a LOT, which can latch onto carpets, curtains, and before you know it? WHOOM!” Galo hurriedly erased each star, only to replace them with a flicker of flame. “Waa- wait, what were we talking abo-- oh yeah! I dunno' who this Yoimiya person is, but sounds like she needs a couple of classes with yours truly!”

Hey anon! I told myself once I get back on here, you're going to be the first anon I answer because this is a big deal, or at least it is to me. I'm sorry for the super late reply, but here goes!!

There's no right or wrong way of writing your first fic. Do what you gotta do, write the fic you know you would LOVE to read and get lost in. Think of it this way, the story you want to write will someday inspire others to make a story of their own. It may not be perfect, or it might be. @waxwing-saint told me once to be the fic writer you want to see in the world. It sounds like you have a lot of ideas already buzzing in your head, and all it needs is to be heard---or in this case, read ;)

Just go for it, anon. It could be the start of something amazing and even perhaps the first of very many. And I'm doing alright, thanks for asking :) I hope you're doing good too ❤
