Raigad Lok Sabha constituency has become one of the prestigious constituencies in Maharashtra state. This constituency is recognised as the bastion of Shiv Sena for the last three decades. But there is a possibility of major changes in the political equations of Raigad Lok Sabha constituency with 2019 election results. Senior NCP leader, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkarehas begun his election campaign enthusiastically and all his family members, party activists, fans and followers are showing him great support for this election campaign. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare’s son, MLA Mr Aniket Tatkare has recently conducted one public meeting for his father. This is an overview of the public meeting.

The state MLA, Mr Aniket Tatkare, conducted a public meeting at Roha and urged people that they can give considerable vote lead to Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare if they think that Mr Sunil Tatkare has worked for them as their son and brother. Mr Aniket Tatkare further said that Shiv Sena leaders try to take NCP’s credit for different initiatives and try to secure themselves. Now it is the role of Roha people to decide whom to select. He requested people to give a major vote lead to Mr Sunil Tatkare if he has worked for them as their son and brother.

Mr Aniket Tatkare also said that they are very sure about the success of Respectable Mr Sunil Tatkare in this election, but they also expect the blessings of Roha people in his journey. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has started and contributed towards different initiatives in Roha city which includes water irrigation system, community hall, an auditorium for senior citizens, women gym and many more; but their no advertisement policy has denied them to take credits of their contributions. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare had raised funds of 125 Crore Rupees for Roha city for the last two years. People are the witness of different changes and positive transformation of Roha city.

Mr Aniket Tatkare further said that if we would have been an expert in advertising policies, we would not need these public meetings for our election campaign purpose. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is well respected by the masses. The present Member of Parliament has zero contribution to Roha city. Therefore, despite the many blame on Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare, people will not trust him. He became a Member of Parliament on the basis of casteism and religious politics. But, in the form of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare, there will be a new player who will clean bowl the present Member of Parliament.

Actress Sameera Gujar also expressed her views during the public meeting. She said that Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is the most deserving candidate Also, people should take care that they are not being cheated due to the name similarity of candidates.

Other attendees for the meeting were Mayor, Mr Santosh Potphode, Deputy Mayor Mr Mahendra Divekar, Smt Sneha Ambre, Smt Poorva Mohite, Mr Mahendra Gujar, Mr Amit Ukade, Smt Deepika Chiplunkar, Mr Sanjay Gangal, etc.

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has worked continuously for the betterment of Konkan, Raigad district and different communities. He has tremendous support from different communities. 2019 election result will be an acknowledgement to his outstanding contribution to the society and it will be a lesson to the Shiv Sena too.

Sunil Tatkare on Excellent Diplomacy to Stop Farmer’s Indefinite Hunger Strike

The NCP leader and MLA, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare discussed the issues with the people affected by the Wakan-Pali-Khopoli highway project which helped to stop the indefinite hunger strike undertaken by them. Mr Sunil Tatkare successfully discussed issues with the farmers affected with Wakan-Khopoli highway expansion project. The farmers have taken up indefinite hunger strike since last few days for the fulfilment of their demands. Mr Tatkare has attained success in resolving this issue through a positive dialogue with these farmers. 

 During the meeting, Mr Sunil Tatkare said that he is proficient to give justice to the project affected people. Being a member of the opposition party, he is committed to offering the right compensation amount to the project affected people on behalf of the BJP Government. This matter has been the responsibility of Mr Tatkare and farmers need not worry about this issue. If required, he also will join a hunger strike regarding this demand. Due to the successful convincing of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare, these farmers stopped their indefinite hunger strike. 

 Mr Sunil Tatkare further added that Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar has been the guide and mentor to the Prime Minister of this country. This clearly indicates the power and talent of Honourable Mr Pawar. The NCP has been committed to rewarding the right compensations to all project affected people. During this meeting, the farmer’s committee president, Mr Pramod More thanked Mr Sunil Tatkare. 

 Mr Sunil Tatkare also said that the questions related to farmers are raised in the assembly house. This compensation matter is also considered along with different aligned issues related to farmers. There will be a separate meeting on 2nd and 3rd January 2018 regarding the issue of farmers affected by Pali-Khopoli highway expansion project. If required Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar, Hon Mr Dhananjay Munde, and Mr Ajit Dada Pawar will pay attention to this matter. On behalf of NCP, Mr Tatkare assured that they will give appropriate justice to these affected farmers. On 25th December, Mr Sharad Pawar will visit Pali, during this visit the affected people can present their petition regarding this demand for a better impact. 

 During this meeting NCP leader, Mr Vasant Oswal, Tehsildar B. N. Nimbalkar, Farmer’s Committee Working President, Mr Vinod Bhoir, Vice President, Mr Chandrakant Shinde, Secretary, Mr Girish Katkar, etc, were present.

 This meeting has set an example to demonstrate the role and responsibility of an ideal opposition party to resolve different issues related to people and also to ensure people about their demand fulfilment. Participation In The Konkan Mahotsav Event by Shri.Sunil Tatkare

The NCP leader Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare attended the Kokan Mahotsav Kalyan 2019 Event at Kalyan. During this function, Mr Tatkare said that this event has demonstrated the power of Konkani people. The Kokan Mahotsav event has been a great platform to showcase the diversity in the Konkan region. This event has ventured to present political leaders and artists collaboratively on the same stage. 

 The Kokan Mahotsav event was organised by Utkarsh Pratishthan at Pote Ground Kalyan. The event started on 19 January and will be concluding on 27th January. On 22nd January ‘Maharashtrachi Ranragini’ melodic programme was organised at this event. Mr Sunil Tatkare attended and enjoyed this programme. After that, Mr Sunil Tatkare said that Kalyan and Dombivli cities are occupied by many artists; also many Konkani people have moved to Kalyan and Dombivali area with job intentions. The Konkan Mahotsav event has given the opportunity to political leaders to interact with these artists and the people of Konkani land. Mr Sunil Tatkare thanked organisers for this grand platform.

 Mr Sunil Tatkare further said that the NCP President, Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar has given him the opportunity to line up many developmental initiatives in the Konkan region. He is also committed to being supportive of Konkani people and land with a variety of tasks and projects in the future. 

 During this event, a few artists including Mr Jaywant Bhalekar, Ms Manasi Joshi and businessman Mr Amol Bhojane were awarded the Konkan Gaurav Award. Mr.Sunil Tatkare On The Failure of The NDA Government

NCP leader and Former Minister Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is the leader with a developmental vision for the Konkan region. He has different plans and ideas for the development of the Konkan region that will assure the innovative ideas during his tenure and after his unfortunate failure in the 2014 election, he continued his work for the betterment of people of Raigad district. Mr Sunil Tatkare strongly believes that the current Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete has been the elected representative of the people for 6 terms, but he couldn't use the opportunity for the development of Raigad district people. Mr Sunil Tatkare expressed about the failure of NDA Government at Chatav, Taluka-Khed, Ratnagiri.

According to Mr Sunil Tatkare, the current government has not contributed to any betterment initiatives for the common people. The present Member of Parliament of the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency has been the most inactive member in the cabinet, and he failed to achieve the progress of Konkan area. Before the previous election, Mr Anant Geete promised Konkani people that he will bring the paper mill in Konkan area and he also suggested farmers for Bamboo plantation. Now, Shri Sunil Takare wants to ask Mr Anant Geete that he is completing his five years of tenure, where is the paper factory and what about the farmers who have planted Bamboo and their associated losses?

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare also blames Mr Anant Geete that, he is not the resident of Raigad district or Konkan area.  He is not concerned about the problems of Konkani people. He is the resident of Vile-Parle and he has completely ignored his promises and role in the development of Konkani area. Having a central minister position for the Heavy Industries he has not brought a single project in Konkan region. He has no vision for the Konkan area development. His focus is just on utilising funds on the toilet and those kinds of things which are not expected from a Member of Parliament and a central minister.

According to Mr Sunil Tatkare, the BJP Government has exploited the people below the poverty line in the country. They have cancelled the ration card facility which was useful for poor people.  Also, before the election, they promised people with 2 crore employment opportunities every year, but, in fact, the government has not worked for any of their promises and the government has failed completely.

In all, people are frustrated with the ruling government and they need a new direction with the change in power. The BJP Government has totally failed to achieve the development and the trust of people. Fake promises, inactive leaders and betterment of only capitalists are the major characteristics of the BJP Government. Hopefully, the situation will change with the 2019 election results and the country will be led and directed by effective, vision-oriented leaders such as Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar.

Mr Sunil Tatkare On Fruitful Meeting Regarding Konkan Railway Issues

It can be concluded that the meeting of Shree Sunil Tatkare with Railway Authority was quite fruitful. It addressed several issues and focussed on safety, convenience and comfort of the Konkan Railway Travellers. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has initiated his term as a Member of Parliament and he took the first step to assure better and convenient connectivity to Konkani people by resolving the prolonged issue of the Konkan Railway System. If he would have been able to address the matters of Konkan Railway and prolonged demands fulfilment, it will be his successful step toward the promises fulfilment and a great beginning for him.

After being appointed as the new Member of Parliament of Raigad Lok Sabha constituency, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare conducted his first meeting with Konkan Railway Managerial Director Mr Sanjay Gupta. The meeting was organised to attend to different prolonged pending issues of the Konkan Railway.

The major issues addressed during this meeting were the Konkan Railway security and the safety of the travellers. Different safety measures in order to assure a safe journey to the Konkan Railway travellers were discussed and Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare posted regarding it on his official social media pages of Twitter and Facebook. One of the important points was to increase the platform height at Khed, Divankhavati and Kolad Railway stations.  Another point discussed during the meeting was regarding the construction of overbridge at Shiravali Railway station in Ratnagiri District. Mr Sunil Tatkare also put forward the demand for a special train during the upcoming Ganesh festival.

Apart from these demands, other important points were also discussed in the meeting. It included the concern for people who were affected due to Konkan Railway Project, their absorption and recruitment in the Konkan Railway. Mr Sunil Tatkare and Mr Sanjay Gupta also discussed positively on the EMO Railway service on Panvel-Chiplun route. Mr Sunil Tatkare also presented the demand of Khed people to the Konkan Railway authority. Khed Railway station should be considered as a halt for major trains travelling on this route. This pending demand was also addressed in the meeting. Konkan Railway authority replied that they are ready to send a proposal to the Railway Ministry regarding this. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare assured that he also will discuss the demands of people about Konkan Railway to Railway Minister and will try to fulfil them. He further said that he will take the necessary steps and follow-up to resolve the issues and demands regarding the Konkan Railway.

Anti-child Labour Day or world day against child labour is observed on 12th June every year. The custom has been started and introduced in 2002 by the International Labour Organization. This day is focused to provide infrastructure, environment for children to grow and enjoy a happy and healthy childhood, and to fight against child labour across the world.  Child labour is the act of engaging and assigning children with the activities which can include exploitative industry, illegal business and that can be part-time or full-time work. Children need to engage in these activities due to the lack of resources for their survival, incapable parents, and the force of owners or parents in order to get faster returns on their investment.

Anti-Child Labour Day 2019 Theme

The theme for world day against child labour 2019 is-- “children should not work in fields but on dreams”. The theme is launched with a broad vision, saying that children should not be engaged in agriculture sector work instead their dreams should be fulfilled. Earlier themes for world day against child labour have covered different topics and themes such as conflict, safety, health, disasters, education, etc.

Observations

The day is observed on 12th June every year and different programmes are organised in order to understand the significance of this day. Many NGOs, institutes, media, political parties, clubs arrange different programmes such as seminars, workshops, lectures, camps to understand the importance of happy and dignified childhood to every child and to minimise the fraction of child labour in the society.

What comprises Child Labour?

In India, child labour is defined as the children below 18 who are deprived of a happy and secure childhood, dignity, potential, and health due to their engagement in labour activities. The child labour issue is mainly raised due to poverty and in many unfortunate cases, these children can become a permanent victim of criminal rackets. The right to education for these children is also avoided.

Being part of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare’s team, we are glad to share our initiatives for anti-child labour activities. NCP and Mr Sunil Tatkare have always preferred the empowerment of youth, especially children in the country. The party principles state that children are our assets and future capital. Every child deserves a happy, healthy and dignified childhood. Mr Sunil Tatkare always contended for best education facilities in the Konkan area. He also provided a modern hostel facility to backward community students. Due to his initiatives, students from remote areas such as Konkan villages are able to take up education with minimum cost. This approach increases awareness among children about education and empowers them with knowledge and a better future. Gradually, it will help to reduce child labour issues in the Konkan. He also availed technical, skill set-oriented, professional courses and education facilities in the Konkan region which helped students in the age group of 16 years for their early empowerment.

Mr Sunil  Tatkare -A Meeting with Authorities to Sort Out Raigad Problems

It is always beneficial that the people representative belongs to the local area and people of Raigad district are experiencing the same these days. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has been appointed as the new Member of Parliament of Raigad Lok Sabha constituency. Shri Sunil Tatkare has his own roots in Raigad district which gives him a better understanding of Raigad district problems, issues and the mentality of local people. In the first month of his tenure, he has started different initiatives and completion of pending works for the betterment of the society. In line with his election campaign tagline, he is proving himself to be a truly active leader.

Recently, Mr Sunil Tatkare participated in one meeting to resolve different issues in Raigad district. The meeting was conducted at the Raigad Zilla Parishad office. During this meeting, different issues were considered. One of the major issues discussed in the meeting was the BSNL network trouble in the constituency. Due to unavailability and interruption in BSNL service, Raigad students are facing problems while processing their online admission applications. Academic institutes, colleges, and schools are also facing problems due to the BSNL service. The same problem has become a headache for common citizens. They are facing issues in online processing of applications for agriculture loans, 7/12 extract applications, etc.

During this meeting, Mr Sunil Tatkare also discussed the processing of caste validity certificate which is required for school admission process. Meeting panel discussed on different problems that normally occur while issuing caste validity certificate and how the process can be simplified further.

Mr Sunil Tatkare also collected the information about different MIDC areas in Raigad district and different problems faced by these MIDC zones. He instructed authorities, to resolve these problems on an immediate basis. Mr Sunil Tatkare also requested a detailed report on 26 – Villages Water Supply Scheme implemented at Roha and assured respective authorities that he will resolve technical issues pending with this scheme by a discussion with higher-level authorities.

Another important point discussed in the meeting was related to mismanagement in different nationalized banks. Participants raised the issues on the bahaviour of different banks to trouble their customers. Mr Sunil Tatkare also collected inputs in this matter and assured an action.

Mr Sunil Tatkare has actively started his new inning as a Member of Parliament. His leadership style is absolutely positive and completely different than the previous Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete. Mr Sunil Tatkare’s learning oriented attitude and research-based decision-making style distinguish him from his counterparts. Raigad district authorities also would have impressed with his intellectual leadership approach. Raigad people will realize that they have given an opportunity to a deserving candidate and the constituency is in safe hands now. His optimistic and promising approach towards work is noticed prominently and assures of a bright future to him and his constituency people.

Mr Sunil Tatkare -An Inappropriate Plan to Divert Konkan Water

Mr Sunil Tatkare has been appointed as the new Member of Parliament in the 17th Lok Sabha election for Raigad Lok Sabha constituency. He has worked as MLA and the Finance Minister and Water Resources Minister for the state. His skills and analytical abilities to understand the situation are excellent. He has always taken the stand for the betterment of the Konkan region and always supported the masses. If Konkan river water diversion decision is harmful to the Konkan region, Mr Sunil Tatkare was expected to react to this decision and he did it immediately. His warning to the State Government on this decision and the issues he has raised about this decision are research-based and worthwhile to think about. Before implementing the decision of Konkan river water diversion, the State Government should review Mr Sunil Tatkare’s thoughts on it.

Raigad district new Member of Parliament Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has criticised the State Government regarding their policies for the utilisation of available river water and different strategies associated with it. Mr Sunil Tatkare is the active leadership face of Konkan region and he supports the Konkan region with his strong leadership style. Recently, he criticised the State Government for their different policies regarding river water diversion of rivers flowing through Konkan.

Mr Sunil Tatkare targeted the current government during his interview with the journalists at Alibaug. In this press conference, Mr Sunil Tatkare informed that the State Government has appointed one committee for diversion of Koyna and Mulshi dam water to other areas. The committee has submitted one report to the government. According to this report, the government will try to divert Koyna and Mulshi dam water towards the east. If this happens, the Konkan region will get affected and due to this decision, there will be an enormous shortage of water in the Konkan region. Not only this, but it will also affect electricity projects in the region.

Mr Sunil Tatkare further informed that the government has planned to divert the river water from the Konkan area, but they will not allow doing this. Newly appointed Member of Parliament, Mr Sunil Tatkare has warned the State Government that the diversion of river water from Konkan region will not be tolerated.

Mr Sunil Tatkare proves that he is a strong and efficient leader from the Konkan region. The State Government's policies to politicise the issues of water distribution are observed recently with different decisions such as diverting Baramati belt water portion to Solapur area. On this decision also, Mr Sunil Tatkare reacted that these policies are implemented to politicise the issue of water distribution and it is beyond his understanding. In this situation, the state government has also planned to divert the water flowing through the Konkan region to other areas. This type of decision will harm the Konkan region to a great extent because already the Konkan region is deprived of water. Also, the Koyna electricity project is one of the most important power generation projects in the country. Mr Sunil Tatkare has pointed out that this type of water diversion decision can affect the power generation project in the future.

The Water Distribution Issue Is Politicised And Beyond Understanding- Sunil Tatkare

NCP Regional President Shree Sunil Tatkare has been elected as the Member of Parliament in the recent Lok Sabha election. His immediate feedback on the water distribution matter demonstrates his concern for social issues and his willingness to work for Maharashtra people. It also emphasises that Shree Sunil Tatkare has been one of the prime pillars of the NCP and he deserves to be the same and he will always keep an eye on Maharashtra matters instead of getting engaged only in the centre.

While the drought situation in the Maharashtra state is at its peak, the water-related matter is seeking the attention of the masses. The Maharashtra State Government has accepted the proposal of Maharashtra State Krishna Valley Development Corporation and according to this proposal, an immediate decision will be taken to stop diversion of additional water from the Nira Deoghar dam to Baramati and Indapur Talukas. Senior NCP leader Shree Sunil Tatkare gave feedback on this news and he said that this decision is beyond his understanding.

Mr Sunil Tatkare spoke that the decision taken by the Water Resources Department is beyond his understanding. Mr Sunil Tatkare seems disappointed with this decision and compared the decision of the Water Resources Department with the previous decisions taken during his tenure.

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare said that in the previous government tenure also, these types of decisions were taken during canal committee meetings. But elected representatives never complained about water distribution policies of west-flowing rivers or Nira Deoghar Dam. During his tenure, equitable distribution of water was considered. This decision indicates that water distribution issue is politicised and its reason is beyond understanding.  

The feedback given by Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare on the water distribution matter clearly indicates that he is highly disappointed with the decision. The State Water Resources Department has ignored Baramati and vicinity for water distribution. Baramati belt is influenced by NCP founder Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar and the strategy of the BJP Government to trouble NCP eminent is prominently noticed here. NCP Regional President, Mr Sunil Tatkare had been the Water Resources Minister for the state and he has taken many betterment decisions during his tenure. Even he worked hard to resolve the water scarcity issue of the Konkan region by different dam and canal projects. 2019 Lok Sabha election will be an opportunity to Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare and his team. Mr. Sunil Tatkare As Development Perspectives For The New Member of Parliament

In the 17th Lok Sabha election, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is elected as the new Member of Parliament and the major political equations of three decades got changed in Raigad constituency. It was a tough fight between Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare and existing Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare appealed people to choose the energetic leader instead of inactive leadership of Mr Anant Geete. On the other hand, Raigad district was considered as the bastion of Shiv Sena. But finally the fight between active leadership and inactive leadership has got its verdict and people have chosen their dynamic leader in the form of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare.  

With increased position responsibility also increases. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare needs to attend many developmental perspectives in Raigad constituency now. He is adored as the leader with development vision and people have many expectations and hopes from him.

Despite having the Union Minister position to the elected representative of the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency, the district is not developed yet. Many fundamental facilities are not availed to colonies and villages in Raigad district. Former Member of Parliament and Heavy Industries Minister, Mr Anant Geete never took interest in the development of Raigad district. Neither he worked for the fundamental development in the district nor did he bring any major projects in the district.

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare will need to work on the availability of fundamental amenities and facilities such as transportation facilities, irrigation facilities in remote areas of Raigad district. The coastal highway concept is not completed yet in Raigad district. Eventually, it will also help to recognise the Raigad district as an international tourist place.

Another issue that needs to be addressed by Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is unemployment. Due to unemployment problem Raigad youth needs to relocate at Mumbai-Pune and even Surat. This leads to instability in the family and it also results in educational problems to their children. Fishermen community is also facing many issues. They do not have any other earning source and they are not getting much benefit through fishing business.

Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare will also need to pay attention to the completion of the expansion and four-laning of Mumbai-Goa highway. This work is pending for many years due to land acquisition issues. Raigad district’s 84-kilometer zone work was pending for the last 8 years and it led to the inconvenience of travelers on the highway. Completion of four-laning of Mumbai-Goa highway will add to the convenience, transport facilities and connectivity. Many Railway related tasks are also pending, including double lining of Konkan Railway and electrification of the Konkan Railway line. Ro-Ro service is also not completed yet. Terminal work is accomplished, but the service is not started yet.  

In all, there are many developmental perspectives to be attended by Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare in order to achieve the development of Raigad district and to promote the tourism industry in the Konkan. Transportation facilities, irrigation facility, education facility, electricity, and many other fundamental amenities need to be availed for the masses.
