Shri Sunil Tatkare’s Sensible Reaction On Tiware Dam Breach Incident
While incessant rainfall lashed many parts of Maharashtra, the Konkan region was shocked with the death toll in the Chiplun Taluka, Ratnagiri district due to the Tiware dam breach incident. This incident has resulted in washing away 12 houses adjacent to the dam and also resulted in a flood-like situation in 7 nearby villages. 13 people have been declared dead and more than 11 people are missing.
The Member of Parliament of Raigad constituency Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare reacted on this unfortunate incident on Twitter and Facebook official accounts. Mr Sunil Tatkare attacked the present government for the Tiware dam breach incident which he alleged has happened due to the inactive and irresponsible governance. This incident has resulted in the loss of many lives along with a huge financial loss in the area. It is an example of sheer negligence and insensibility of the government.
Meanwhile, it is clear that local people have reported that they have complained about the dam wall cracks and its condition to the authorities, but regrettably, the government and authorities have neglected the matter. According to Mr Sunil Tatkare, the government should have attended these issues straight away. He has raised his voice for the flood-affected people. Seven villages have been severely affected by the floods due to this incident and how the government will counter this situation in order to compensate for the loss of affected families.
Mr Sunil Tatkare has criticised the government for this incident on his social media pages. According to Mr Tatkare, the government has been inactive and dismissal with reference to different issues and problems of people. At least in the future, the government should be careful to avoid such types of incidents and the adequate system should be implemented in order to avoid these types of accidents in the state.
The Tiware dam breach incident has been a very adverse and unfortunate incident in the history of Maharashtra. Moreover, it is shocking that the complaints raised by people about the condition of the dam were ignored by the Government and the administration. This indicates the imprudence and negligence of the Government. Senior NCP leader and the Member of Parliament Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has sensibly reacted on the incident and slammed the wrong and inappropriate governance for this dam breach incident. He also expected that these types of incidences should not happen in the future. Structural audits, observations, and examinations are necessary from time to time for different projects such as dams, bridges, tunnels, etc.
The Tiware village is located in a very remote area of Ratnagiri district and rescue of flood-affected people is going to be a challenging task. The civil administration, police, and local volunteers are seriously engaged in the rescue operation. Hopefully, they all get the success in the rescue mission and shifting the people in flood affected area to the safe locations. In line with Mr Sunil Tatkare’s suggestion, the system should be such strong with preventive measures that these types of incidents shall not repeat in the future.

Shri Sunil Tatkare’s Suggestions on The Indian Medical Council Bill
A very few politicians in Indian scenario are admired for their advance and deep thinking on diverse topics. One of the examples of such mature and brilliant politician includes the knowledgeable leader of the NCP and a Member of Parliament of Raigad Lok Sabha constituency Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare. Recently, he presented his views on Indian Medical Council Bill in the parliament. During his speech, he presented the facts and drawbacks of the bill and also requested the consent to the Medical College in Raigad district.
Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare effectively presented his views and suggestions on Indian Medical Council Bill in the parliament. During his speech, he presented different facts, drawbacks, and scope of improvement about Indian Medical Council bill 2017 chapters. He presented a very important point through his speech that this Bill does not include allied branches and other human resources associated with the medical field such as nursing courses and accordingly the bill needs to be reformulated in order to consider this fact.
Mr Sunil Tatkare also recalled the norms defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO). According to the criteria of WHO, there should be a ratio of doctors to people- 1: 1000 but in India, this ratio is 1: 2000. This indicates that there is a lack of skilled professionals in this field. Also, Indian villages face different issues with reference to medical facilities. To be more precise, unavailability of doctors and infrastructure are the major issues faced by Indian villagers.
Shri Sunil Tatkare proposed significant changes in the Indian Medical Council Bill. According to Mr Tatkare, this Bill requires noteworthy changes in order to provide a standard framework to allied branches of the medical field. He also emphasised on the problems raised due to the transfer of doctors, immigration and suggested to implement a strong support system to overcome this problem. Moreover, Mr Sunil Tatkare also talked on the medical admission process which is carried through a medical entrance exam which is prejudiced towards CBSE students. He expected to show a holistic approach in Medical admission process.
While concluding the speech, Mr Tatkare requested the house to sanction the permission for the medical college in Raigad district. He further added that when he was the Finance Minister of the state, he processed the demand of starting a medical college in Raigad district. It became possible due to the guidance and help of Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar. He said that this request should be reconsidered and granted by the centre and there should be a provision of a medical college in Raigad district in the upcoming future.
Mr Sunil Tatkare presented effectively different facts and expectations about the Indian Medical Council Bill. It was obvious that he presented different points on the basis of detailed research and study in this matter. Shri Sunil Tatkare on Rejuvenation of Ammonia and Urea Plant
The newly appointed Member of Parliament of Raigad constituency Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is seeking the attention of the Government towards diverse and unique matters. He has been very active and energetic in the sessions and also being appreciated for his performance on different social media pages. During the supplementary question session in parliament, he triggered the issue related to the Ammonia and Urea project at Thal, Alibaug, District Raigad. He requested the Government to rejuvenate this project by convincing its importance and he also acknowledged with a positive response on this proposal.
Mr Sunil Tatkare presented the importance of Ammonia and Urea project in his brief speech. He explained that India has been the biggest consumer of Urea and Indian farmers consume 32-31 Lakhs Tons of Urea every year. Out of which only 24 Lakhs Tons of Urea is produced in India and remaining is imported from other countries. It is necessary that our country should be independent with reference to the Urea production. The NCP President, Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar presented this fact while he was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra at the age of 38.
Mr Sunil Tatkare supported his query with the help of underlying research data and inputs. Mr Sunil Tatkare further added that the Central Government is positive towards rejuvenating fertilizers projects in Eastern India through Sick Unit Revival Plan (SURP) and the Central Government has planned to invest 7.8 Million Dollars for this scheme. Mr Tatkare raised concern over this matter inquiring that if the proposal is sanctioned, will it consider the proposed plant of ammonia and urea at Thal in Alibaug, with a budget cost of Rs 5530 Crore. Due to the effective and research-based query raised by Honourable Mr Tatkare, he was replied positively by the cabinet. As a result of this, we can expect another power-packed project in the form of Ammonia and Urea plant in Raigad district in the near future.
Development perspective has been the most important character of the leadership of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare. He has an extensive development vision with reference to Konkan and Raigad area development. Before the 2019 election, he had asked the masses to provide him one opportunity as a Member of Parliament and this opportunity will be utilised to set an example of the progress in the area and now Mr Tatkare has initiated his new inning as a Member of Parliament just now and is trying to fulfil his promise. Press Briefing on Halla Bol Campaign led by Sunil Tatkare
The Regional President of the NCP, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare declared that the NCP is going to start the Halla Bol campaign in the state. This movement will be focused on different issues, including, loan waiver to the farmers, unemployment, problems associated with the urban area and no adherence to laws and regulations. Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare informed about the Halla Bol campaign in the press conference, which was also attended by the former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Honourable Mr Ajit Pawar.
The regional president of the NCP, Mr Sunil Tatkare recalled that the BJP Government has declared that the Government will be crediting loan waiver amounts to the farmer’s account till 25th November. But the actual implementation of this promise is not seen. Farmers in the state are disappointed with this delay and are not pleased with the State Government. Additionally, the Government has also failed to resolve the unemployment problem faced by the youth. Moreover, the BJP Government is also ineffective in dealing with the problems in urban areas of the state. To be more specific, there is no control over the implementation of law and order. There is a registration of 6-7 murder cases daily in Nagpur city itself. Home Department has failed substantially to regulate law and order in the state. Eventually, this situation has become completely frustrating for the common people.
Mr Tatkare further informed that in line with these different issues there will be a beginning of the Halla Bol movement in the state. This movement will be useful in order to awaken the people and make them realize the failures of the BJP Government. The campaign will be initiated at Late Yashwantrao Chavan’s Memorial, Karad on 25th November 2017. Also, there will be a walk rally from Yavatmal to Nagpur to be initiated on 1st December. On 11th December the rally will visit Maharashtra State Assembly Winter Session and will put forward the demands of the people during this winter session.
Former Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Ajit Pawar also reacted that out of 12 Crore farmers in the state only 500 farmers are getting the actual benefits of the schemes availed by the BJP Government and the State Government is busy in the advertisement of its poor work. The Government has ignored the demand for farmer’s loan waivers. Mr Pawar further declared that the NCP leaders will not attend any of the Government programmes and events now onwards.
The BJP Government is leading the state for the last 3 years and the NCP is playing the perfect role of an opposition party. The NCP has raised many current issues in the state, including the problems associated with farmers, youth, and the regulation of law and order. The Halla Bol campaign will be an eye-opener for the BJP Government. This Halla Bol movement is going to be the right platform to present different issues unattended by the BJP Government. It is expected that people will support this campaign positively in order to gain the attention of the State Government towards their problems. Also, the campaign will be led by many NCP eminent including Honourable Mr Ajit Dada Pawar, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare, etc. It can be predicted that the successful implementation of a Halla Bol campaign can become a foundation work of the NCP in order to assure grand success in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections.

The Nirdhar Parivartan Rally led by Shri Sunil Tatkare, Mahad
The 17th Lok Sabha election is going to be a big challenge and tough competition for the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency. The way is not easy for the Shiv Sena candidate and present Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete, because the NCP candidate, Mr Sunil Tatkare has already expressed his aspirations to win the election and gain the opportunity to serve the local people. For election campaign, Nirdhar Parivartan Rally is started at Raigad district and many NCP leaders have joined the campaign at Mahad.
NCP and Mr Sunil Tatkare have a grand desire to secure the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency for the NCP. In the 2014 election, Mr Sunil Tatkare had to face unfortunate and accidental failure due to certain political strategies played by the opposition parties. To be more specific, Mr Sunil Tatkare gave a strong fight to the Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete. Unfortunately, the name similarity strategy was used against Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare and the two other candidates with the same name as that of Shri Sunil Tatkare who lost 10,000 + votes. Moreover, one Muslim candidate also shared the votes of the Muslim community. In this way, Mr Sunil Tatkare lost his prospect as a Member of Parliament in 2014.
In 2019, the situation is different but again it is going to be a direct fight between Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare versus Mr Anant Geete. In the 2019 election, a significant plus point for Mr Sunil Tatkare will be his massive work for different communities during his tenure and even after his failure in the last election. Likewise, the strength of Mr Sunil Tatkare will be the support of the Peasants and Workers Party. This factor will be highly decisive and relieving to Mr Sunil Tatkare because Alibaug, Pen, and Shrivardhan belt have a good hold of Peasants and Workers Party. It is also observed that the followers and supporters of Peasants and Workers Party honestly support their candidate.
On the other hand, Mr Anant Geete’s inactive and dismal leadership is going to be an important election marketing strategy for the NCP. Having Central Minister and Member of Parliament positions, Mr Anant Geete has been unsuccessful to impress the masses with effective projects and works. Last but not the least, Mr Anant Geete has not begun the election campaign yet, while the NCP has shown aggressiveness by initiating the election campaign at the bastion of the Shiv Sena, Mahad city. This is also an alarming signal for Mr Anant Geete who has been the Member of Parliament for the last 30 years.
The Raigad Lok Sabha constituency is one of the prestigious constituencies in the state of Maharashtra. For the 2019 election, the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency will seek major public and media attention. If Mr Tatkare defeats Mr Anant Geete in the Raigad election, it is going to be a new beginning for the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency. This type of decision will also help the NCP in order to uplift the party in Konkan region. People of Konkan area have their own demands and they require strong political support in order to complete these demands. Mr Anant Geete has been unsuccessful to fulfil the expectations of Konkani people. Therefore, it is expected that Mr Sunil Tatkare can get the chance to obtain the opportunity as a Member of Parliament. Nirdhar Parivartan Rally has begun at Mahad city. Mr Sunil Tatkare and the NCP have demonstrated their aspirations for the historical victory of the NCP. It will be interesting to implement a wait and watch strategy for the actual results.

During this meeting, he accused Mr Anant Geete of presenting a fake work report to cheat the massesbyutilising and showing his work such as the medical treatments of needy people/patients just for the sake of election marketing propaganda.
Mr Sunil Tatkare said that our country has transformed positively with reference to technologies due to the effectual leadership of ex-Prime Minister Late Mr Rajiv Gandhi. While the current Prime Minister,Mr Narendra Modi has hypnotised the masses with very life-size dreams, whichare not realised until now. People have selected Mr Anant Geete as a Member of Parliament for the last 6 terms, who even do not belong to Raigad district. Now, peopleare clear about Mr Geete’s performance and work achievements.
Shri Sunil Tatkare informed that Mr Geete has adopted one village Dive Aagar. In this village, he has contributed for only toilet projects. In Murud and Goregaon villages also he ignored any other developmental activities and worked on only these types of tasks. MrGeete has also deceived the Konkani people about highway toll charges. He has not stopped toll charges on the highway. He has presented a fake work report in order to cheat the common people. He has been the Central Minister and he is presenting hiswork report, which includes information on his help to medical treatments of needy patients. Isn't a tragic and embarrassing thing that the Central Minister and a Member of Parliament present his work which includes his help to needy patients?
During this meeting, the Congress District President,Mr Manik Jagtap also expressed his views. He also reviewed the current status of the country and elaborated his views on the performance of the present Member of Parliament and the Central Minister Mr Anant Geete. He concluded that if we expect major changes in the state and the country, it is necessary to have power change in the country.

Sunil Tatkare on State Krishi Din/Agriculture Day—1st July 2019
The economy of Maharashtra state is based on the agriculture sector and it is the supreme wealth generation source of the majority of the Maharashtrian population. In Maharashtra, 1st July is observed as the Agriculture Day or Krishi Din and optionally 1st July to 7th July week is also celebrated as Krishi Saptah (Week). 1st July is observed as a Krishi Din to pay tribute to the Father of the Green Revolution of Maharashtra Late Mr Vasantrao Naik since 1st July has been the birth anniversary of this legendary personality.
Late Mr Vasantrao Naik, who happened to be one of the Chief Ministers of Maharashtra state in the duration 1963-1975, is well known as the ‘Father of Green Revolution’ in Maharashtra state.
Maharashtra has a rich culture of agriculture and it is one of the chief producing states of India. Maharashtra’s agriculture products are sold within the country and even exported out of the country. Agriculture day is celebrated to honour farmers and to understand and elaborate extraordinary contribution of farmers and the agriculture sector.
Unfortunately, Maharashtra state farmers are facing many issues, including lack of rains, growing inflation, drought situation, and natural calamities, etc. State Agriculture Day is the right platform to raise and address different issues suffered by the farmers of the Maharashtra state. Sunil Tatkare’s Reaction on Maratha Community Reservation Decision
27th June 2019 is attributed as one of the historical days in the history of Maharashtra. The reason being, on this day the genuine and prolong demand of Maratha Community Reservation has been sanctioned by the Mumbai High Court and due to this decision Maratha Community Reservation proposal has proved legally correct and sustainable. The NCP leader and the Member of Parliament of Raigad Constituency, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare have reacted optimistically on this decision. He also recalled the attempts made by the Congress Government in order to achieve Maratha, Dhangar and Muslim community reservation.
Mr Sunil Tatkare said that Maratha community honestly and peacefully struggled for their prolong reservation demand. During the Congress Government tenure, NCP also tried to achieve Maratha, Dhangar, and Muslim community reservation.
The Mumbai High Court has given justice to the demand of Maratha Community reservation. Mr Sunil Tatkare added that he is highly gratified with the judgement. This day is a distinguished day for the Maratha community. In line with the Maratha community reservation process, Muslim and Dhangar communities also should be given justice with the fulfilment of the reservation demand.
Mr Sunil Tatkare has appreciated the peaceful path adopted by the Maratha community for this prolonged demand of the Maratha community reservation. The students and youth of the Maratha community systematically organised and participated in Maratha Kranti Morcha for the last 2 years for the fulfilment of their demand for the reservation purpose at various cities of Maharashtra state. The Mumbai High Court has given the decision to offer 12 to 13% reservation to the Maratha community in government services and education sector. Therefore, the demand for Maratha Community Reservation has become sustainable and legally acceptable. Mr Sunil Tatkare also showed his concern for the Dhangar and Muslim community by saying that these communities also should be given with appropriate justice by offering them reservation in the government services and education.
The Maratha community reservation has been a milestone in the history of Maharashtra. It is the grand success of the Maratha Kranti Morcha Campaign organised in 2018. We congratulate all the people from the Maratha community for getting justice to their prolonged demand.

Sunil Tatkare on Excellent Diplomacy to Stop Farmer’s Indefinite Hunger Strike
The NCP leader and MLA, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare discussed the issues with the people affected by the Wakan-Pali-Khopoli highway project which helped to stop the indefinite hunger strike undertaken by them. Mr Sunil Tatkare successfully discussed issues with the farmers affected with Wakan-Khopoli highway expansion project. The farmers have taken up indefinite hunger strike since last few days for the fulfilment of their demands. Mr Tatkare has attained success in resolving this issue through a positive dialogue with these farmers.
During the meeting, Mr Sunil Tatkare said that he is proficient to give justice to the project affected people. Being a member of the opposition party, he is committed to offering the right compensation amount to the project affected people on behalf of the BJP Government. This matter has been the responsibility of Mr Tatkare and farmers need not worry about this issue. If required, he also will join a hunger strike regarding this demand. Due to the successful convincing of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare, these farmers stopped their indefinite hunger strike.
Mr Sunil Tatkare further added that Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar has been the guide and mentor to the Prime Minister of this country. This clearly indicates the power and talent of Honourable Mr Pawar. The NCP has been committed to rewarding the right compensations to all project affected people. During this meeting, the farmer’s committee president, Mr Pramod More thanked Mr Sunil Tatkare.
Mr Sunil Tatkare also said that the questions related to farmers are raised in the assembly house. This compensation matter is also considered along with different aligned issues related to farmers. There will be a separate meeting on 2nd and 3rd January 2018 regarding the issue of farmers affected by Pali-Khopoli highway expansion project. If required Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar, Hon Mr Dhananjay Munde, and Mr Ajit Dada Pawar will pay attention to this matter. On behalf of NCP, Mr Tatkare assured that they will give appropriate justice to these affected farmers. On 25th December, Mr Sharad Pawar will visit Pali, during this visit the affected people can present their petition regarding this demand for a better impact.
During this meeting NCP leader, Mr Vasant Oswal, Tehsildar B. N. Nimbalkar, Farmer’s Committee Working President, Mr Vinod Bhoir, Vice President, Mr Chandrakant Shinde, Secretary, Mr Girish Katkar, etc, were present.

Participation In The Konkan Mahotsav Event by Shri.Sunil Tatkare
The NCP leader Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare attended the Kokan Mahotsav Kalyan 2019 Event at Kalyan. During this function, Mr Tatkare said that this event has demonstrated the power of Konkani people. The Kokan Mahotsav event has been a great platform to showcase the diversity in the Konkan region. This event has ventured to present political leaders and artists collaboratively on the same stage.
The Kokan Mahotsav event was organised by Utkarsh Pratishthan at Pote Ground Kalyan. The event started on 19 January and will be concluding on 27th January. On 22nd January ‘Maharashtrachi Ranragini’ melodic programme was organised at this event. Mr Sunil Tatkare attended and enjoyed this programme. After that, Mr Sunil Tatkare said that Kalyan and Dombivli cities are occupied by many artists; also many Konkani people have moved to Kalyan and Dombivali area with job intentions. The Konkan Mahotsav event has given the opportunity to political leaders to interact with these artists and the people of Konkani land. Mr Sunil Tatkare thanked organisers for this grand platform.
Mr Sunil Tatkare further said that the NCP President, Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar has given him the opportunity to line up many developmental initiatives in the Konkan region. He is also committed to being supportive of Konkani people and land with a variety of tasks and projects in the future.

Election Campaign—Dapoli Visit by Mr.Sunil Tatkare
For the 2019 election, NCP candidate Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has a great desire to win the election and to represent the Raigad constituency at National level. He has immense support of party activists, local people and other parties, including Peasants and Worker’s party. Being part of Raigad constituency he also has focussed on Dapoli Taluka, Ratnagiri district. People of Dapoli are facing many problems, including unemployment, transportation, toll charges, etc. Mr Sunil Tatkare’s Dapoli visit was worthwhile and it helped to boost his confidence and morale for the upcoming election. During Dapoli visit, Mr Sunil Tatkare tried to get connected with the people of Dapoli by understanding their problems and expectations. Halla Bol Campaign—Pune led by Sunil Tatkare
NCP’s Halla Bol campaign is active throughout the state and the campaign is led by senior NCP leaders. The leadership face of Konkan region Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is working actively for this Halla Bol campaign and the moto behind this campaign is to expose the real face of the present government. People are giving a good response to this campaign and as a result of this campaign, major political equation change can be observed in the upcoming election next year.
The Halla Bol movement is in its next stage was in the Pune City area. Recently, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare attended Halla Bol meeting at Kharadi, Pune. During this meet, he criticised the present government for various reasons.
Mr Sunil Tatkare said that the NCP leader Honourable Mr Ajit Dada Pawar has transformed Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad drastically. Due to the power change, the development initiatives in the area are interrupted. People are being troubled by the BJP government and they are keen on the power change again. Mr Sunil Tatkare further said that the BJP Government has undertaken many programmes such as Magnetic Maharashtra, Make-In Maharashtra and assured that these programmes will increase employment opportunities in the state, but actually, the outcome is different. They are scared of NCP’s Halla Bol movement and tried to present their power in front of people through a failed attempt.

The BJP Government’s only aim is to assure power and money. They have failed to solve the issues of Pune area and they are just busy in enjoying their power and divide and run policies.
During this meeting, the NCP leader, Mr Ajit Pawar said that important leaders and politicians never opt for strikes and boycotts, but here people in the present government are busy in these activities. He wonders as to who is going to resolve their issues. The government has not given any clarification on the unemployment problem. The Congress Government has a record of bringing many companies, and firms in this area. The BJP Government has not worked to control inflation. The farmers are not getting appropriate rates for their products. Girls are not safe. The transportation system is not up to the mark. NCP’s motto behind Halla Bol movement is to make the people apprehend this condition.
The Halla Bol campaign has taken momentum in the state and the huge public presence in Halla Bol meetings acknowledges the success of this campaign. NCP is showcasing an ideal role of the opposition party in order to criticise the mismanagement of the ruling party and to assure a better future for the people. Plan to Win Dapoli In Lok Sabha And Vidhan Sabha Elections – Shri Sunil Tatkare
The NCP regional president, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare and his team have a strong resolution for the 2019 election. Mr Sunil Tatkare has well planned his election campaign and agenda for the next 5 years for the betterment of the Konkan region. He is ready to set a new trend in the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency by defeating Shiv Sena candidate Mr Anant Geete. During party activists meeting, Shree Sunil Tatkare revealed his plans and desires for the 2019 election.
During party activist’s meeting, Mr Sunil Tatkare said that they are prepared for the Lok Sabha election and they are sure about their victory in the upcoming election. The NCP’s plan is not limited to only Lok Sabha election, but they are also set and well prepared for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha election and they will be successful in keeping Dapoli constituency with them during the assembly election.
The meeting was conducted under the headship of senior leader Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare. Other attendees for the meeting were Dapoli constituency MLA Mr Sanjay Kadam, Mr Ajay Birwatkar and other party authorities.
During this meeting, Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare guided different NCP activists and authorities. He said that NCP has secured the Dapoli Vidhan Sabha Constituency in the previous election. People have supported the NCP in that election and also the constituency is supported with the MLA who will resolve the problems of people. NCP leaders are also confident about their success in the Lok Sabha election. NCP party activists will work enthusiastically to assure the success in Lok Sabha election. The present government has cheated the masses totally and people are not happy with them. Under the name of Shivshahi, they are applying old vehicles for the public transport system. Also, the rates are increased by 30% for the ST ticket. Their supporting party Shiv Sena is also not with them and it is busy in crossing the ruling party at every stage. A few of the ministers are also engaged in cheating people with fake funds news for respective projects and areas.
Mr Sunil Tatkare further said that people are intelligent and sensible to understand the strategies of the ruling party. Because of this, the NCP could get success in Dapoli Assembly election in the last election and now NCP is sure about its grand victory in the Raigad Lok Sabha election too. During this meeting, Khed Taluka activists and social workers entered into the NCP.
Other delegates for this meeting were Mr Prakash Shigvan, Smt Chitra Chavan, Mr Jaywant Jalgaonkar, Mr Anil Ratate, Mr Mohan Mulye, Mr Chandrakant Baikar, Smt Priyanka Shigvan, Mr Sateesh Chikane, Mr Sunil Todankar, and other NCP authorities.
Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare has focused more on Ratnagiri district Talukas such as Dapoli and Guhagar in order to achieve sufficient vote lead through this area. His strategy will prove beneficial if he gets the strong support of Ratnagiri district. The path is not very easy and clear as Raigad and Ratnagiri districts are recognised as a bastion of Shiv Sena. Mr.Sunil Tatkare On The Failure of The NDA Government
NCP leader and Former Minister Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare is the leader with a developmental vision for the Konkan region. He has different plans and ideas for the development of the Konkan region that will assure the innovative ideas during his tenure and after his unfortunate failure in the 2014 election, he continued his work for the betterment of people of Raigad district. Mr Sunil Tatkare strongly believes that the current Member of Parliament Mr Anant Geete has been the elected representative of the people for 6 terms, but he couldn't use the opportunity for the development of Raigad district people. Mr Sunil Tatkare expressed about the failure of NDA Government at Chatav, Taluka-Khed, Ratnagiri.
According to Mr Sunil Tatkare, the current government has not contributed to any betterment initiatives for the common people. The present Member of Parliament of the Raigad Lok Sabha constituency has been the most inactive member in the cabinet, and he failed to achieve the progress of Konkan area. Before the previous election, Mr Anant Geete promised Konkani people that he will bring the paper mill in Konkan area and he also suggested farmers for Bamboo plantation. Now, Shri Sunil Takare wants to ask Mr Anant Geete that he is completing his five years of tenure, where is the paper factory and what about the farmers who have planted Bamboo and their associated losses?
Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare also blames Mr Anant Geete that, he is not the resident of Raigad district or Konkan area. He is not concerned about the problems of Konkani people. He is the resident of Vile-Parle and he has completely ignored his promises and role in the development of Konkani area. Having a central minister position for the Heavy Industries he has not brought a single project in Konkan region. He has no vision for the Konkan area development. His focus is just on utilising funds on the toilet and those kinds of things which are not expected from a Member of Parliament and a central minister.
According to Mr Sunil Tatkare, the BJP Government has exploited the people below the poverty line in the country. They have cancelled the ration card facility which was useful for poor people. Also, before the election, they promised people with 2 crore employment opportunities every year, but, in fact, the government has not worked for any of their promises and the government has failed completely.
In all, people are frustrated with the ruling government and they need a new direction with the change in power. The BJP Government has totally failed to achieve the development and the trust of people. Fake promises, inactive leaders and betterment of only capitalists are the major characteristics of the BJP Government. Hopefully, the situation will change with the 2019 election results and the country will be led and directed by effective, vision-oriented leaders such as Honourable Mr Sharad Pawar.

Anti-child Labour Day or world day against child labour is observed on 12th June every year. The custom has been started and introduced in 2002 by the International Labour Organization. This day is focused to provide infrastructure, environment for children to grow and enjoy a happy and healthy childhood, and to fight against child labour across the world. Child labour is the act of engaging and assigning children with the activities which can include exploitative industry, illegal business and that can be part-time or full-time work. Children need to engage in these activities due to the lack of resources for their survival, incapable parents, and the force of owners or parents in order to get faster returns on their investment.
Anti-Child Labour Day 2019 Theme
The theme for world day against child labour 2019 is-- “children should not work in fields but on dreams”. The theme is launched with a broad vision, saying that children should not be engaged in agriculture sector work instead their dreams should be fulfilled. Earlier themes for world day against child labour have covered different topics and themes such as conflict, safety, health, disasters, education, etc.
Observations
The day is observed on 12th June every year and different programmes are organised in order to understand the significance of this day. Many NGOs, institutes, media, political parties, clubs arrange different programmes such as seminars, workshops, lectures, camps to understand the importance of happy and dignified childhood to every child and to minimise the fraction of child labour in the society.
What comprises Child Labour?
In India, child labour is defined as the children below 18 who are deprived of a happy and secure childhood, dignity, potential, and health due to their engagement in labour activities. The child labour issue is mainly raised due to poverty and in many unfortunate cases, these children can become a permanent victim of criminal rackets. The right to education for these children is also avoided.
Being part of Honourable Mr Sunil Tatkare’s team, we are glad to share our initiatives for anti-child labour activities. NCP and Mr Sunil Tatkare have always preferred the empowerment of youth, especially children in the country. The party principles state that children are our assets and future capital. Every child deserves a happy, healthy and dignified childhood. Mr Sunil Tatkare always contended for best education facilities in the Konkan area. He also provided a modern hostel facility to backward community students. Due to his initiatives, students from remote areas such as Konkan villages are able to take up education with minimum cost. This approach increases awareness among children about education and empowers them with knowledge and a better future. Gradually, it will help to reduce child labour issues in the Konkan. He also availed technical, skill set-oriented, professional courses and education facilities in the Konkan region which helped students in the age group of 16 years for their early empowerment.
