Sunaral, in the Midst of the Typhoon

I've been meaning to do some more lore writing for this world, but I've been stuck with other projects, uni, and all, but I finally decided to sit down and crank out some more for this region.

Old states collapse, Sunaral breathes anew, new nations arise.

Thus spoke Sierro k-Nadses Daseli, Brotherhood of the Four Truths, 7920.

The two-hundred year rule of Terna-ij over what it deemed Eseria begins its wane as revolt upon revolt burns,

Kearana struggles with liberation with the abdication of the Grand Prince Derren on-Meyn-Joen,

Giselia and the Wural continue to bicker and argue over the Ourate Straits, heart of the old trade,

Iwosind continues its rapid expansion across Doppenes, as its "platinae magi" legions harass and annex towns on the island,

Zanesen revanchism sweeps the nation as the rump state of Delsatya is the only thing between it and total war against its neighbor and enemy of Creizh,

and through all its storms, Sunaral marches on.

In the centuries and millennia before the 80th century, the Central Trade dominated the world's seas. The endless pursuit for the spread of goods, faiths, and ideals created what was once the Tolipean Synod, a dream that unified the continent. For TOLIPEA was SUNARAL, and SUNARAL was TOLIPEA.

Then, rose Eseria, the rejection of Paenimsh dominance.

Brigade and column of Eseria marched east, then west, to declare the nation of Eseria, the end of TOLIPEA.

As it rose, so did its ideas spread across the Central Trade, then the Trades That Flowed From Whether,

and where the Eseric could not expand, its ideals would change.

The 79th forced upon Sunaral change.

In the Wural, with the tyranny of the Wuralian kings, revolution burned anew. Giselia rose in the name of Jesel, she-who-in-millennia-ago-liberated. The Union of the Wural rose from the ashes in Icnairon, and rebuilt itself anew in Kaserai.

Djeritsia and Occidalea saw revolution alongside the Giselians, changing their monarchical structures and reforming them in fear of what happened to Wuralia.

Amongst the fury of Eseria, so too did the Zanese seek change from the lords of Creizh, and in Bones-Steel, rebuilt Arignon, once the symbol of both Gnaickeran and Creizh yoke, into Aringsou.

Now, in the 80th, Sunaral simmers towards a boiling point.

ORAIUS spoke to the people of the temple,

who do you think we'll see anyone cozying up together during these winter months? and who do you think will remain cold and alone?

Clearly Adem and Ysla, though I guess he'll be avoiding any boat related activities for the foreseeable future. Trauma can run so deep. Another little birdie told me Abril and Mal are sharing spaces, maybe even blankets. It is so cold out ladies can't say I blame you. Luna and Drew of course, I don't think he was joking when he said they were literally stitching their skin together. Vanni and Yaz seem to be getting very comfortable. I guess the other woman (allegedly) doesn't always cry herself to sleep. Cute? Rohan may be cozying up with Dixie but I still think they're gonna be freezing on that damn boat. Now as far as cold and alone goes... Noah and Astrid if they keep up this weird cold war they got going on. I think Salem was onto something when she said Rohan is always at the scene of the crime. Nazli is spending too much of her time at work when she should be in the club and Omar never leaves his house. It's a got damn shame. I'd like Javi to get up and get active, such beauty going to waste. Once again, not enough people at the club !

she  scrunches  up  her  nose  as  she  settles  her  bags  down,  eyes  scanning  over  the  place,  skeptical at best.  “are  you  sure  this  is  the  best  place  you  could’ve  gotten  us?”  dilan  turns  to  face  them,  motioning  around.  “because,  i  don’t  mean  to  be  rude,  but  it  feels  like  we’re  getting  murdered  here  tonight.”

Every step he took made the pizza box in hand feel that much heavier. If he made it to his apartment before digging in, it'd be a miracle. Having been consumed by the growing story around him, he'd lived on boxed mac and cheese and leftovers for nearly three days straight. It wasn't the worst he'd ever done, but the warmth of the box and the intoxicating smell of cheese and a garlic buttery crust left his stomach twisting into unbearable knots. His one track mind had attached to the thought of how good the first bite would be, but his thoughts shifted and he paused a couple of feet from his door as the sound of a familiar laughter filled the hall. "Come on, D. Can't keep a joke that good to yourself. If you share, I'll share," he offered, grin wide as gaze lifted from the boy and up to his mother. For once, she couldn't scold him over his music being too loud. "Consider it a peace offering for last night. There's more than enough, and it's the least I can do. Unless you've got other plans, then raincheck?" He'd been far too concerned with his research to consider the people on the other side of his walls. Any interesting pairings you’d like to see?

I guess the easy/cop out answer would be everyone and a therapist but to make things interesting I think seeing the following interact could be pretty funny:

Abril and Misty: They strike me as the same form of determined but also avoidant. I think they'd fuel each other in, potentially, the worst ways and where's the fun in healthy friendships?

Mallory and Valentina: Two hot girls who know they're hot and love having fun, it's a match made in heaven. And what better way to prove you're not stuck on one someone by getting with another someone !

Poet and Saffron: Poet needs some for of an angel on her should before she winds up in jail for fraud and Saffron needs someone to drag her out and show her it is perfectly fine to be a bit of a mess from time to time before she ends up in social jail. Which i think is worse than real jail. They'd balance each other out.

Drew and Leia: When we talk about matching one another's freak (platonically luna, put the switch blade away), I think there's no better pairing than the two of these. Two PHDs in yapanese and a hyper fixation on the obscure they can share with each other, and save everybody else! Its a win win!

Kitae and Noah: You ever just put the most tumbleweed headed (affectionate) people in a room together? I think they'd do nothing but speak in internet slang and bizarre phrases to one another but still have a better conversation than Omar or Dixie was able to have with their exes.

Yaz and Luna: The girl you think your best friends ex boyfriend (allegedly) cheated on her with? Even more hilarious to find out how dead wrong she is. And during pride? Cherry on top.

Rafael and Nazli: I think he could learn something about work ethic from a workaholic and she could definitely learn something from a workaphobe! Mutually beneficial.

Jenny and Adem: He needs help in all things fun and social media and she very much needs someone to look after her on all her nights out. Maybe someone to get her to set that last drink down while she can help him figure out lighting for his pictures, aw. Ain't that wholesome?

Vanni and Devon: Two gym bros in a singular room? I'm sorry, too borderline conceited gym bros in a room? They're gonna start flexing like it's some sort of gun show and is there anything more entertaining than a peacock showing off its feathers?

Reyna and Anayeli: Two beautiful artists at different points of their career and their self-love and healing journeys? I think they could learn a lot from each other.

Salem and Zak: No one can shoot a person down like Salem can shoot a person down, but Zak is quick on his feet too. Can't deny he's charming. It would be something out of a wattpad original to watch them bicker, doesn't the sound of it just make you wanna grab popcorn.

Rohan and Ysla: They're both are healing from great loss, searching for it in every place but themselves and I think there could either be some really great lessons in that or it'll be awful for both of them and we get to watch the whole thing explode. A win win.
